Sorry the updates have taken so long.

Eight Years old

Conner could hear the talking of the audience on the other side of the curtain that he was stood behind with Skye. The two were dressed in their costumes waiting for their cue's, they were doing their Christmas play and both were extrimally nervous. Conner was to play the part of Joseph and Skye was to play the Inn Keeper. 'What if I mess up Skye? My family will be so embarrassed and disappointed!' Conner whimpered as he began to pace back and forth wringing his hands in agitation.

'You'll be fine Conner,' Skye soothed, he had become much more confidant as the year went by and was now often comforting Conner just as Conner did with Skye, it had made the two a lot closer.

'Are you sure?' Conner asked staring at his best friend with wide fearful eyes and Skye smiled reassuringly at the half Kryptonian boy.

'I believe in you and so does your family,' soothed and Conner nodded in agreement taking a deep breath just as his cue was called and he walked out onto the stage giving as good as he could, he never once forgot his lines or tripped over his costume and delivered an amazing performance that had the audience really believing he was Joseph and was fearing the life of his wife and child.

After the play was over and Conner was once again in his normal clothes he was swamped by his family congratulating him and saying how good he was and that they were proud of him. Conner beamed and soaked up the praise before saying his goodbyes to Skye and leaving the school hall with his family. 'So what would you like for dinner Conner?' Clark asked as he hoisted the eight year old onto his shoulders and starting walking from the school to the car.

'Can we just go home and have home-made food?' Conner asked leaning over Clark's head and the meta human grinned up at his son.

'Of course Conner. After all food made by both Alfred and Grandma is amazing isn't it?' Clark asked grinning and Conner's head bobbed up and down excitedly in agreement.

The car ride back to the Manner was full of raucous behaviour from all of the children/adults who acted like children (e.g- Conner's older brothers (*cough* Dick *cough* Jason *cough*)). Conner was of course at the centre of it reading out some of his lines from the play and making everyone laugh. He didn't mention his miniature melt down before the play started and no one else mentioned it either as Conner seemed to forget Clark had Super hearing and heard every-word before relaying the information to Conner's other to parents as well as the grandparents, the kids just happened to over hear it at the time.

'What would you like to eat Master Conner?' Alfred asked when the family entered the Manner and Conner scrunched his face up in thought before he smiled an idea coming to him.

'Can we have Pork Chops, Cabbage, Carrots, Parsnips, Mashed Potato and Gravy with Apple Pie for desert?' Conner asked his eyes wide and pleading, not even the great Batman could resist that looked so Alfred and Martha had no chance and readily agreed before sweeping into the kitchen to for-fill the boys request much to the eight year olds delight, and the delight of Clark at the thought of Apple Pie.

Dinner was a quite affair, well as quite as the Wayne Manner gets with all of the children in the same room with each other, and Conner thourally enjoyed himself as he always did when his whole family was brought together as he hardly ever got to see his older brother's and sister's anymore. Well the ones that had moved out anyway.

When it was time for bed Conner asked for a story from Clark and the alien complied and waited for his son to drift off and when he did Clark couldn't help but reflect on the way Conner was this time around to the way he was the first time and he was happy they had gone through with de-aging him.

He only hopped it would continue this way.
