Theme Song
Come on, come out, we don't have all day (Gray and Fortis try getting Durus, Leviculus, Fidens, and Magna out of bed with an annoyed look on their faces)
Let's do this adventure the right way (Gray runs down a road with Chase, Durus, Audino, Tara, Scyther, and her other Pokemon following)
We will look back on what we were (Fortis is pictured on a black canvas before faded images of a Vibrava and Flygon appear behind him in flames)
Even now, we're still unsure... (Team Purity's logo flashes on the screen, and Deus' masked faces appear)
What the future holds! (Gray's final team flashes by)
Be fast, grab your dreams and run (Trentavious, Savannah, and Marcus appear with their starters, and they smirk at Gray while Trent glares)
Look back, make sure to have fun (Gray, Chase, and Tara sit underneath a tree with their Pokemon while laughing)
Remember now, don't look back, Stay calm and give it a crack... (Gray and her Pokemon stand on a hill with Chase, Audino, Tara, and Scyther)
Pokemon!
Time for another Purity Chapter! This will be about Deus and Zypher, along with everyone else in Team Purity, attempting to catch Zapdos at the Power Plant. It's very, very short, because the first draft was just crap tons of text after crap tons of text, so let's get going!
Defender31415: Haha, I always write down inability, but then I remember that it's sadly an "ability."
Blaze Falcon: Overall, Gray and her Pokemon are really supportive, so it's going to be a pretty normal thing to see. And Deus actually won't be using Pokemon Purifying, but Zypher will. It's going to be so insanely OP, the battle won't last very long, which is a very small part of why this chapter is as short as it is
Trentavious Phoenix: I think the concept of abilities for everyone is great, but then I'd have to implement every one of them all the time, which is something I'm not interested in doing. And I've always told myself to start introducing TM's, but for some reason I haven't (idiocy being the most likely candidate). Also, thanks for the compliment! Last chapter definitely was very lacking, to say the least, and so is this one. Everything will start getting a lot better after this, though
ShadowDragon9000: Lol, I thought pretty hard on that one :P Conflict will continue to be an issue until the end of this arc, and Fidens will be overcoming his deficiency pretty soon
guest: It really was a long time coming for those two to clash about that, so it's good that it's out of the way. And I never really thought of Purity that way, but now that you mention it I totally agree. They're really not going to be that significant plot-wise for another two arcs or so, but they'll make their presence known, along with another character who could determine the fate of the world
Shion Rasenka: It'll actually be a walk in the park for Deus and Zypher, given how strong Pokemon Purifying will be. Think of Grim Reversion Stage 2 and then put that to the tenth power. Of course, it'll be weakened when Gray and the others face off with Deus, but for now it'll be insane
MCMXCV: Yeah, it's always a nice change of pace writing those types of chapters, because it's a lot less mentally draining than battles are. And you will get to see Team Purity's plan in action, but it'll be really short because of how OP Pokemon Purifying will be

"Heah we ah," Zypher muttered as he stood in front of a large, metal building that looked like it had been abandoned. "The moighty Zapdos is restin' in heah." Slowly, he turned and looked at roughly fifty Purity members, and he smirked when Deus walked over with his hands behind his back.
"It's good to have you back, Zypher. Now, shall we get started?" the leader asked before walking into the building, not waiting for an answer. The bounty hunter soon followed, and so did all of the other people. When they walked inside, the enormous group looked around at the brightly lit area they were standing in. The entire layout of the room was an open floor concept, though there were some generators and a few walls in random places. The brigade began marching through the Power Plant, searching vigorously for the legendary Pokemon that was crucial to their plans.
"Deus, are you sure Zapdos is resting here? What if it happens to be in Sinnoh?" a random person asked while bowing to their leader. The masked person, who was wearing the laughing mask, turned and looked down at his lackey.
"Then we'll wait to strike. Don't worry, though. I know Zapdos is here somewhere," the leader reassured his follower before walking away to see if the legendary Pokemon was hiding on the floor he was on. After an hour or so of searching with Zypher, Deus sighed and cracked his knuckles as he entered the back portion of the Power Plant, where there was an exit.
"Aye, should we get back theah and look again?" Zypher inquired as Deus began walking around the room, which looked exactly like the rest of the floor. "Deus?" The leader didn't respond, however, and he continued walking around before finally stepping on a specific part of the ground that sounded much hollower than the rest. Zypher slowly walked over to the person paying him, and Deus stepped off the spot and pointed at it, communicating without words. Zypher nodded in response and released his Bisharp from the strange looking Pokeball, and the Pokemon knew exactly what to do after Deus tapped his foot on the area.
"Sharp," Bisharp grunted lowly before punching the ground as hard as he could. Suddenly, the floor gave out, and there was a large, gaping hole in the middle of the room, which made Zypher, Bisharp, and Deus smirk. After they called in all of their followers, Deus cracked his neck and motioned for people to go into the hole. Even though they were terrified, the grunts didn't want to face the fury of their leader, and they disappeared into the pitch black hole. More and more people funneled into the lower level of the Power Plant before Deus, Zypher, and Bisharp dropped down.
"Use Flash!" one grunt commanded. Suddenly, the room lit up, and the crowd gasped in shock when they saw an enormous nest resting at the top of a flight of stairs. The rest of the room was dreary and damp, with nothing but dirt on the ground, and the group charged forwards before scaling the stairs. Once they reached the top, a thunderous roar cracked in the air, and people began to fall down the stairs in fear.
"Who dares enter my nest!?" a wicked voice screamed while lightning somehow flashed in the room. No one responded, and the thunderous cry from before echoed through the air once again, making even more people fall down the stairs in terror. Deus and Zypher, meanwhile, maintained their composure and began smiling when the lightning stopped. When that happened, yellow electricity struck the nest, and an enormous yellow bird stood in front of the countless trainers intimidatingly.
"Zapdos, I have come to capture you!" Deus shouted at the electric type, who scoffed at the remark. A sudden wave of rage swept over Dues, and the faceless person switched his masks around so the crying face was present. "If you don't take me seriously, then I challenge you to a duel!" A thunderous roar followed the challenge, and Zapdos looked down at the tiny person sitting before him.
"And why should I waste my time with you?" The slight made Dues growl lowly, but Zypher placed his arm in front of the masked person, making Deus turn towards the bounty hunter and his Bisharp, who looked ready to fight.
"You ain't got much of a choice, mate," Zypher informed the legendary bird, who puffed his chest out at the threat. "We'ah gonna battle ya anyways, so it'd be in ya best interest to foight back." Bisharp sharpened his blades before nodding at his trainer's words, and Zapdos angrily took to the air. All of the Purity grunts attempted to throw their Pokeballs, but Zapdos fired a fatal Thunderbolt in every direction. Luckily for Deus and Zypher, Bisharp was able to block the attack while the other people perished.
"You're a fool if you think you can defeat me, you disgusting human!" Zapdos squawked angrily before flying towards Zypher, who was quick to respond to the legendary's attack, his accent disappearing as he switched into trainer mode.
"Bisharp, use Protect on all of us!" the man yelled. Bisharp quickly threw his arms forward and a green bubble surrounded the three survivors. Zapdos bounced off the shield but laughed at the attack, knowing Zypher was just trying to buy time. What he didn't know, was that Zypher had pressed the button on his Pokeball, and Bisharp was shrouded in a wave of golden energy, which seemingly came from nowhere.
Once the Protect faded, Zapdos was shrouded himself in electricity before firing a wicked bolt of lightning at the dark and steel type, who was quick to counter by rolling out of the way.
"Now use Guillotine!" Bisharp shot forward at the speed of a jet and caught Zapdos by surprise. Suddenly, Bisharp's red hands, which extended like blades, snapped on the electric type's neck and knocked Zapdos to the ground. The legendary Pokemon let out a grizzly scream before Deus patted Zypher on the back and walked over to Zapdos, kneeling down next to the bird's face.
"You're lucky I'm not going to kill you right now. Then again, you might as well be dead, having to serve a master you don't want. I guess this will change your attitude," Deus said obnoxiously before pulling out a Pokeball that was pure black. Zapdos' eyes shot wide open, and the electric type attempted to fly away, but Bisharp's Guillotine attack had paralyzed him, for the time being. Deus slowly moved his hand towards Zapdos' head, and the electric type began to squawk in terror before the Pokeball made contact. Suddenly, the electric type was sucked inside, and the capsule didn't even shake.
"One down, two to go."

Drops of water bounced off the walls of the cave, and all of the Pokemon inside pretended to not notice the annoying sound. One in particular was, however, and he rose from his meditation pose. Angrily, the Pokemon stuck his arm out and squeezed his hand tight, breaking the rock that was causing the dripping, and he chucked it blindly across the cave. Several Pokemon scampered away from the rock, and the powerful Pokemon sat down once again and attempted to meditate. The serenity of the cave was unmatched, and not a single soul dared talk while the Pokemon attempted to meditate.
As he cleared his mind, the Pokemon began to think back on his mistakes, the first being his attacking the former champion of the Kanto. Of course, he was able to defeat the trainer with no effort whatsoever, but then his friend arrived a few days later and defeated him, even going so far as to capturing him. Rage surged through the Pokemon's veins, and his hands began to tighten, making the entire cave shake. All of the Pokemon that were trying to sleep suddenly shot up and began running around worriedly, which made the meditating Pokemon stop.
Slowly, he rose to his feet and opened his eyes, now calm. He then hovered over to the worried Pokemon and waited for them to stop running. When they did, they stared at the unusual Pokemon, who was the only one of his kind anyone in the cave had ever seen.
"Please, don't be alarmed. I accidentally allowed my past failures to creep back into my mind. For that, I am sorry." The group of Pokemon quickly forgave the one who could talk, and they went back to sleeping, making the powerful one walk back to his meditation sight. When he sat back down, the Pokemon began meditating once again in an attempt to clear his mind. As soon as his eyes closed, the Pokemon fell on his back in shock as a frightened voice rang in his ears.
"Help! Someone help! I'm in the Power Plant, and someone is about to capture me! If you can hear me, please help!"
"Zapdos?" the meditating Pokemon asked aloud before trying to meditate again, hoping to hear more.
"No! No! NOOOO!" The meditating Pokemon shot up to his feet and looked around worriedly before knowing it was, in fact, Zapdos that had been begging for help. The white, bipedal Pokemon quickly took to the air using his telepathic powers before angrily settling down, remembering there was no way out of the cave he was trapped in.
"How dare that insolent human trap me inside of these walls! Me, the mighty Mewtwo defeated by the likes of a child!" Mewtwo began to clench his fists so tightly they shook, and he shouted into the air. "I will get out of here, Red! And when I do, I'm coming after you!"
Jesus, this can't be good. Deus managed to capture Zapdos, and he's going to go hunting for Moltres and Articuno in the next few arcs, while Mewtwo has set his sights on getting revenge on Red, though he won't make another appearance until the Lavender Town Arc. We'll be switching gears once again, however, as Gray and the gang will meet up with Savannah on their way to Celadon. Till next time, peace out.
Next Chapter: "Fortis Fights for Glory": On their way to Celadon, the group runs into Savannah, who challenges Gray to a battle. Will Gray be able to reverse her rival battle misfortunes with the help of Fortis?
