During math, Mikan was felt really proud because she finally broke up with her jerk boyfriend, Natsume.

"Sakura!" An angry voice boomed. "Just because you won the competition doesn't mean you can daydream in my class. Now that I have your attention, what is the solution to the problem."

*Imagine some difficult problem*

Mikan looked at the board for a few seconds and gave an immediate answer. The class looked at the brunette and felt sorry for her. They had gotten different answers and thought they were right. They thought Mikan would get yelled at right after she won a big competition.

Jinno's eyes were wide and he stuttered, "C-correct."

"EH!" The class shouted while Mikan smiled. She was secretly being tutored my Hotaru, for a fee of course. After she won the competition, Mikan wanted to make a change and let Natsume see what he's missing.

*Beep*"Will the top 3 winers of the singing competition please come to the MSP's office?"*Click*

"No, Mikan-sama! Don't leave us! We love you!" Her fan club shouted as Mikan stood up. Soon after Mikan and Natsume broke up, a fan club formed for Mikan. They had admired her from a distance while she and Natsume were dating, but now that they broke up, they were very open about it. After a few classes, the club was completely organized and had a president and vice president.

Luna tried trip her as she passed on her way out of the room, but it backfired when Mikan stepped on her ankle.

"OUCH, You hoe! Watch what you're doing."

"I'm not the one who goes after guys who have girlfriends," Mikan responded before she walked out of the room with her best friend.

Xx MSP's Office xX (MSP= Middle School Principal)

"Hotaru, Yōichi, and Mikan, you three are probably wondering why I have called you here," said the MSP. He continued without giving them a chance to respond, "The big competition was really a front to find applicants for AAPA, Alice Academy of Performing Arts. It is much like our school except it's in America. You do not have to go, but we recommend you do. Any questions?"

Throughout his speech, Mikan had conflicting emotions. She was happy that she had an opportunity to travel to America with Hotaru and Yōichi, but she didn't want to leave the other friends she had.

"That's all I wanted to talk to you guys about. I'll give you time to think about it."

By the time Hotaru, Mikan, and Yōichi left the MSP's office, it was time for lunch. Once they exited the office, Mikan turned to the two next to her and asked, "Are you to going to accept his offer?"

"Probably." Yōichi said."It would be foolish not to. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity."

'That makes sense' Mikan thought.

"Most likely," was Hotaru's answer.

'Even Hotaru is going. I want to go, but what will the others think?'

Mikan voiced her question to Hotaru."I don't care what they think," was her response. "If they are really our friends, it won't matter what we choose."

"Even Ruka?" Mikan wondered. "You guys would have to have a long distance relationship."

"He'll understand. We'll make it work because I'm not going to give up this opportunity. Why are you asking so many questions anyway?"

"I was just... wondering." Mikan said.

"Whatever. Enough of this. Let's go, I'm getting hungry," Yōichi said tired of waiting for the conversation to be over so they go to lunch.
