The day had arrived. Esme ran a brush through my hair as I stared at myself in the mirror. The dress I was wearing was old fashioned. It was covered in lace and had lacy see through shoulders. I had taken a strip of navy blue silk, wrapped it around the waist, and tied it in a bow. The dress floated just a couple inches above the ground. I was wearing simple white flats. My hair fell over my shoulders in soft waves.
"You're so beautiful" Esme pulled me into a hug, "You ready?"
I nodded. Esme gave me a kiss and left the room. I picked up the bouquet, which consisted of five lilies, was wrapped in blue silk, and followed Esme. When I reached the front porch, Esme had the car running and was waiting for me. I got in the car and headed for the forest. Esme called Carlisle on the way to make sure everything was going according to plan and let him know that we were on our way.
Once we reached the forest, it was only a short walk to the bridge. The bridge was an arching bridge with metal railing over a river. The fall colors provided a beautiful backdrop. Esme left me by a tree and headed for the bridge. Edward was standing next to the railing holding Mason. Mason and Edward were wearing a white long sleeve shirt, a blue vest, and blue slacks. He saw Esme and put Mason down but continued holding his hand. Esme came walking back to me holding Elizabeth's hand. Elizabeth was wearing a white dress with a blue bow tied around the middle. Esme left Elizabeth with me and went back to the bridge to stand with my dad, Carlisle, Alice, Rose, Emmett, and Jasper. Since we were already technically married, we didn't have anyone officiating the wedding. This was more for us than anything.
When the music started to play, I walked towards the bridge with the bouquet in one and Elizabeth's hand in the other. Edward smiled when he saw me and I smiled back. It seemed like forever before I reached the middle of the bridge but was probably less than a minute.
The music stopped and Edward started talking, "Bella, I love you. You mean the whole world to me. So," He smiled and looked down at the kids then back at me, "On this day, I give you my heart, My promise, That I will walk with you, Hand in hand, Wherever our journey leads us, Living, learning, loving, Together, "
He let go of Mason's hand and laid his hand flat. Mason dropped a ring in Edward's outstretched hand. I let go of Elizabeth's hand and held my hand out for Edward. Edward slid the ring that said, "I know" on my hand.
"Forever" He finished with a smile.
I felt a single tear slip down my cheek as I started, "Edward, You are a precious gift to me my lifeline, my soul mate, my hope and my joy. I cherish you with my mind, body, and soul. How blessed I am to be able to say that you are mine, to be able to love you and live with you for the rest of my days."
I held my hand out flat and Elizabeth dropped the ring that said, "I love you" in my hand.
I slid it on Edward's hand as I finished, "I love you, "I looked down at the kids and then at the family gathered off to the side, "all of you." I felt another tear slip down my cheek.
Edward gripped my hand gently and pulled me towards him. The kiss was short and sweet and perfect. I barely even registered the applause in the background. When we pulled apart, we just stared at each other for a couple seconds before I took Mason's hand and Edward took Elizabeth's hand. He took his other arm and hooked it through my arm, which was still holding the bouquet. We walked off the bridge like that with the rest of the family following.
When we reached the cars, Edward opened the door for me. Once I was in, he got the kids in the backseat. We headed towards Esme and Carlisle's house. Esme had made ravioli for lunch. It didn't take long for her to warm it up. We ate lunch on the back porch and then headed out into the middle of the yard to dance. Edward and me danced to a recording Esme had made of our first dance song.
After dancing for a little while, Esme surprised us by pulling out a cake. It was a two layer white cake with a navy blue polka dotted bottom edge on each layer. There was a bow along each of the ribbons. The cake topper was a bride and groom each holding a sign. One said, "Mr. Right". The other said, "Mrs. Always Right".
We cut the cake and then did some more dancing. I danced with my dad and then each of the kids. Edward danced with Esme and he danced with each of the kids too. After a while, we all just sat around talking and laughing.
Before I knew it, Alice was taking me upstairs to change. I changed into a navy blue V-neck dress. The sleeves fell to just above my elbows. The top was fitted but the bottom flowed freely to just below my knees. I pulled my hair up in a ponytail and headed downstairs. By the time, I made it downstairs Edward was waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs. He had just taken off his vest. We said goodbye to everyone then got in the car and drove off into the night.
It wasn't long before we reached the cottage. Edward pulled right up to the door. He opened my door for me and then held out his hand to help me out of the car. I just stood there in complete awe while he grabbed the bags out of the trunk. There was a path of rose petals and candles leading up to the front door. Edward grabbed my hand with his free hand and led me inside. There were candles and flowers all over the place. There was a path just like the one outside that led to a door to the left.
As soon as the door was closed, Edward dropped the bags and pulled me close. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into a kiss. He ran his tongue along my bottom lip and I opened my mouth to grant him access. I kicked out of my flats as we started walking towards the door. Once we reached the door, I used my hand to open the door and then reached up and tangled my hands in Edward's hair.
Edward gently pulled my zipper down as I started to unbutton his shirt. My dress and his shirt hit the floor at the same time. I then quickly got rid of his pants. My back hit the bed as his pants hit the floor. Edward crawled onto the bed so that his knees were gently hugging my hips. I slid my hands down his smooth back to his boxers. I slid my hands in between the waistband and gently pushed them down. As soon as they hit the floor, Edward broke our kiss and flipped us over so he was on the bottom. As he kissed his way down my neck, I didn't even notice him undoing my bra until it was gone. Soon, my panties joined the rest of our clothing on the floor. Edward flipped us over so that I was once again on the bottom. He broke the kiss and started reaching towards the nightstand where there were condoms.
I reached my hand out to stop him, "I want all of you, no barriers."
He just smiled and brought his hand down to gently brush my check. He leaned down and kissed my collarbone. I felt him positioning his rock hard member at my entrance. He kissed his way down to my right breast. Then in one swift move, he bit down and entered me. He started slow but sped up with every thrust. He continued to suck and bite my breasts. It all felt so good. Then out of nowhere, we both came at the same time. He stayed on top of me for a few more seconds before pulling out of me and falling to my side.
The rest of that weekend, we hardly were ever clothed and we were never apart. We did it in the shower, the lake, the kitchen, wherever we got the urge.
