"Will she be alright?"

"She will be fine. She fainted from shock…and from fear."

"Of course she would be scared! That she-devil will be here, where Maddie is the happiest I've ever seen her."

"She shouldn't have dyed her hair, she looked fine before."

"…Kawahira…are you a pedophile?"

"That's not nice to assume."

"Will you guys shut up?" I groan, sitting up and rubbing my head. I could only hear bits of what they were saying but I think I can put together what they were conversing about.

Amanda is coming to ruin my life again.

"Maddie—"

"I am not Madeline, I am Lacie." I glared at Akira.

"Lacie, Amanda is arriving who knows when and you aren't worried."

"I think me fainting was already proof of me being shocked and scared," I pulled on few hairs as I examined the brown color. That is…until it turned into its original color right before my very eyes. "Wh-what? My hair!"

"I simply reversed it from before you dyed it," Kawahira shrugged. "You should probably take those contacts out, it just doesn't match as well as your natural eyes." I stared at him.

"…are you sure you aren't a pedophile?"

"No, I assure you both that I am not."

"Mhmmm." Akira and I say, rolling our eyes.

"When will the she-devil arrive Kawahira, and why are you bringing her here?" I frowned, remembering the earlier conversation.

"I thought that it would be interesting if she found out who you really were and would happen. I would send her back after your little...argument."

"Wait, wait, wait. How the hell did she get in a coma?" I thought about it, how did she, really?

"Now that, is for you to find out, and for me not to tell."

"Kawahira-"

"That is all I've called you for, Lacie, you may take your friend and leave."

"I can't just go out like this, bastard. If Vongola see me like this, they'll know it's me. My hair is a dead give away now!"

"Well, you'll just have to solve that on your own. By the way, have you met Kozato Enma yet? It's best to befriend him and Miss Suzuki... and that man." My face screwed up in annoyance...and disturbance. I have to befriend Daemon? That wasn't in the job description. "Just use the Pacifier, it can teleport you. But just remember that it's not like the Sky pacifier, so it doesn't do time wise. It can only take you wherever you want. And before you go, I think you should remove that makeup and dress up for them."

"You planned this all, didn't you?" I growled, I'll give him credit, the man's a genius.

"Of course. Oh, and I think this little Akira is of little use to you so I'll just..." Kawahira walked over to Akira and tapped him forehead, which incased him in a bright light. I covered my eyes with the back of my hand and waiting until the light disappeared. I turned around and took out my contact case and taking off the colored contacts, putting them in and setting the case back in my pocket. I grabbed a random napkin from the table and started rubbing off the makeup stuff hiding the little tear shaped marks right below my eyes.

The light dimmed and I had just finished removing the annoying shit off my face and turned around and gasped. TYL! Akira was here and staring at me with wide eyes.

"I could only bring him from the time where you died, but just know that once you return to your time too, you will reverse back to sixteen years of age."

"Lace-chan!" Akira picked me up and started spinning. Urgh, spinning. "You're alive?! But we already had your funeral months ago...why do you seem younger and shorter?"

"Because when I was sent to the past, my body reversed only by about two years so I'm fifteen now. As for how I'm alive...I have no clue."

"But what am I doing here." I need your help with future plans, Akira...and I know that you're Andrew."

"W-What? H-How did..."

"Kawahira, can you please give him the memories, I rather not explain..." I sighed, tearing myself from his grip and sitting down on the couch and covered my face with my hands. There was a few moments of silence when I felt someone sit down next to me.

"...I finally found you...but now she's coming so we have to prepare for the worst."

"I've been preparing for the worst the moment I realized I was in Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Anyways, let's go, we have some people to visit."

"Right, but you should probably change, those don't seem to be traveling clothes, Lace-chan."

I look down, I was in a skirt and a t-shirt... Yeah, they aren't really traveling clothes. Especially since I'm going two places.

"Let's stop by my apartment, I'll go throught my cosp-I mean, clothes." Akira looked at suspiciously but nodded. "Akira, we're going by roof, I don't want to be seen."

"Why do that when I have these?" He took out five boxes and some rings-No way...

"I-is that Lugia, Shadow, Latios, Latias and Mew?" I breathed out quickly, fingers twitching as I stepped closer. Akira holds out his hands for me to take the objects, nodding. "Oh my god, why do you have these on you?"

"I was entrusted with them by Fran and Tsunayoshi since I was the only person close to you..." He smiled sadly, remembering the day I left.

I slipped on all the rings and went outside. I don't care if they detect my flames, I need to see my friends, my family... I lit the rings and punched them into the appropriate box and waited for them to come out.

But they didn't.

"After you left, after we let them see your...lifeless body," Akira interrupted my confusion, "they never came back out. Not for anyone, it's as if hey set a password so that only one person can figure it out, and no matter what we tried, nothing worked. We tried 'The Sky lives on", "The Rain will return", "Twin Mists", anything. But nothing would get them to come out."

I smiled. I remember when I first met them, I told them that if I ever disappeared, to never open. To use their flames to lock their boxes.

"And just how will we do that, girl?" Shadow scowled, glaring at me. I can tell that he isn't going to like me right away, but he'll get used to it.

"It's basically like a code, a code that only I will know, you guys are too special. If anyone found out about your abilities then they would try to only use you for your power, I want you guys to be my friends and comrades."

"You don't seem to be the type for that, child, but you do have positive energy around you," Lugia commented, lowering his head to look at me. "You seem to be the sarcastic type but you do when to be serious, and something tells me that you can sometimes be...annoying?" I twitched.

"Only if you piss me off and have snarky remarks, then yes, yes I am."

"Mew!" Mew flew around me and pulled on my hair, spinning it around and letting it go, laughing(I always love Mews' little giggle/laugh thing). It just kept flying around me, smiling.

"It seems that Mew has taking a liking to you, Latias and I will agree on it's judgment and allow ourselves to follow you. But please, do not let our trust go down in ruins." Latios narrowed his eyes.

"I won't let you down, I promise."

"We will take our leave now." Latias seemed to whine at it's sibling's decision but complied as they both disappeared into their boxes.

"I'm surprised that you got Latios to agree, he's always been more of a loner and he's very protective over Latias," Shadow commented, absentmindedly.

"That's because I plan on keeping that promise," I smiled slightly as Mew hugged me. "Alright Mew, you go in too." Mew protested, pouting at the orders but flashed back into the box.

"Do I have to ask you guys to return or...?"

"Ask? I thought people with box weapons order their weapons around, not ask." Shadow snarked before Lugia could say something.

"Well, you guys aren't weapons," I started, raising an eyebrow. " Unless you want me to refer to you as a weapon, I think of you guys as living beings with feelings and emotions. You guys aren't just weapons to me, you guys are my family now, that's never going to change."

It was quite before Shadow disappeared into it's box without another word. Lugia simply chuckled and shook his head when I looked at him with confusion and returned to his box as well. I set their boxes in front of me as I sat down and concetrated.

'The password will be-'

I brought their boxes near my face, smiling slightly as I opened my mouth to whisper the sentence that will release them.

"The Second Annoying Mist."

The Boxes jumped up by themselves right after I had said the code. They lit brightly as they all came out of their boxes. I felt familiar flames all across town getting closer.

Shit, Reborn and Tsuna noticed a lot faster than I anticipated.

Lugia, Shadow, Latios, Latias and Mew stared at me with disbelief as I looked over them.

"Obviously you guys missed me, I don't even get a single word of 'Welcome Back!'," I drawled the sentence out with sarcasm.

'...you're alive?'

"Geez, Shadow, that's the best you can do?"

"Mew!" Mew flew over to to me and latched on to my arm, tears in his eyes(A/N: Yeah, I'm giving them genders cause I don't wanna refer to them as 'it' and all that).

"It's alright, I'm alive. But right now, you guys have to get back in your boxes before Tsunayoshi and Reborn arrive. Please," they nod and return, Latias quickly kisses my cheek before going back to her box.

'She missed you, you know, along with Mew and, believe it or not, Shadow.' Latios said, looking away. He didn't want to admit that he missed me too, how cute.

"Yeah, I missed you all too. Now get back in you box before I get caught, please." He just shook his head and went back in, followed by Lugia and Shadow.

"Akira, let's go. Now!" He jumped onto the roof and were about to start running when a voice behind me stopped me right in my tracks.

"L-L-Lacie-chan?!"

Damn it all, I was too slow. That's never a good thing for an assassin.

Especially not one who was caught by Vongola Decimo...who also thinks that you're dead.

If you guys are reading 'Twin Skies' then that will updated soon along with (maybe) another chapter for The Second Annoying Mist(I will now abbreviate it to S.A.M), alright? Alright!

Yeah, so I just got my new DS yesterday. It's a DSi XL, I just traded in my old Light version and it was cheaper, so that's AWESOME. Bigger screen is always better x3

Oh, and if you haven't visited my profile lately, I added a link to a song. It's Special Illusion but the uploader increased the pitch so it sounds female(it was aimed for Fem!Fran xD) so I thought I would put it up to show how Lacie's voice is like. So yeah, check that out.
