Disclaimer: I don't own Katekyo Hitman Reborn or Shugo Chara

Quadruple Update: 1/4 Complete.

Published – July 9, 2014

So, some of you have asked a few questions, so I'm going to answer them.

Evanascenctfacade – Wow! Lots of questions! I don't mind, okay…let's see…

The pairing for Lacie has, in fact, been decided.

If you want Ikuto to be a part of the competition, just tell me! :)

Will they reveal their genders? I'm only giving a hint: Not on purpose. ;D

Her eggs will hatch at different times, but one of them will be soon.

The plot? Umm, somewhere around where Utau has Dia and Amu has Eru (or El, however you take to spelling it). So the Black Diamond Arc (It's what I call it).

I honestly think that, with the way things are going at the moment, Lacie is gonna be pretty involved, possibly Akira as well. The 'siblings' I'm pretty sure they aren't going to get involved so much.

About Akira? Oh, I knew this would come up eventually. Akira still loves her, but he's technically already been rejected. I mean, if you rejected someone, wouldn't you feel a bit weird if they kept trying things? Feel pressured? I made it so that Akira will feel like he's pressuring her if he's obvious about still loving her. Hope that clears things up a bit.

About Akira's eyes. I still have edits to do, so if I said they were blue, I apologize. They are, in fact, red. Or crimson. Whichever you'd prefer.

And about the name's. I know it's so confusing, I am so sorry. I know you've read the other chapters, in the chapter where she finds out where Akira is 'Andrew' she yells at him that she isn't Madeline anymore, that she is Lacie now. And again, a few chapters before she went into hiding, the questions she was asked, one of them was "Who is Madeline?" She answered with "Someone I used to do, she's only my conscious now." Or something along those lines; It's because she doesn't want to be Madeline anymore. She doesn't want to be recognized for the 'weak little girl' she used to be, but the strong, sarcastic girl who won't take shit from anybody.

Hope that answers your questions, because that was 377 words.

Chapter 59

The rest of the eek had passed on smoothly, really. Everything was normal, except for the fact that all my family is a target of bullying but me. Add the fact that when Ikuto disappears from classes, I feel like I'm being watched, so it's obviously him.

Tuesday was normal, I went to the green house and drank tea with all the little runts that call themselves guardians, talking about how I liked the new town, school or not. I said no, obviously. They said I could come over whenever I'd like for tea and snacks, and hey, I don't refuse free food.

Wednesday flew by like shit, flying saying that should give you a hint that that was a shit day. The girl from Monday had shoved her tongue down my throat, so I had shoved away and gave her a simple statement.

"Can't you take a fucking hint? It's because of chicks like you that I'm gay, damn it!"

Let's just say her reactions was pretty hilarious. Ikuto had told me that he didn't really care that I was gay as long as I didn't try anything on him. I agreed, only really having an interest on someone that was still in Namimori.

Thursday rolled in to the fucking galaxy and I had literally told everyone to go to school first without me. I was late by a whole class hour, but I just didn't have enough effort to get up that morning.

I got a smack to the head by a teacher, so I threw him out the window.

Okay, rephrase that: I kicked him through the window. Yeah. I still hadn't been in the mood.

The principal just gave us the rest of the period off as he called a substitute, saying that I would pay for the hospital bill and the window. Not that I cared.

Everyone, excluding Akira and Ikuto, steered clear of my way that day. Did not have a problem with that.

Finally, we're here to present day; Friday. I had art next and a project was due. I took out my, rather large, sketch book and started looking for the drawing that was for the project. I stopped on a drawing, sighing as I stared.

It was Tsuna and Enma smiling and laughing with each other, Enma the one smiling softl as he held Nuts. I had caught the moment accidently on time and had drawn it on the plane.

"Oozora, I believe I asked for you to take out your—and what's this?" Ms. Smith took my book. She's an exchange teacher from America, obviously. She smiled at the drawing. "How cute they are! Who are they?"

I blinked, feeling everyone staring, some trying to look over at the drawing.

"…some friends from where I moved from," I responded, snatching the book back and flupping to the right page and showing it to her. "My project. The theme was 'Inner Resolve' so I drew this."

She gasped, taking in the drawing, her eyes scanning every detail—I could tell, they were slowly going down the page, then back up and back down.

"Beautiful," she muttered, in English. "Perfect score, Oozora."

"Thanks," I close the book and sigh. That drawing meant more to me than anyone would think. They'd think that it was creative, and original.

No.

When I thought of 'Inner Resolve' my thoughts immediately started drawing him. In Hyper Dying Will mode, orange, calculative hues gazing back to whoever was looking at the drawing, tussled, gravity defying hair, as usual. He was surrounded by his pure sky flames, and it was colored and shaded.

Yeah.

It meant more to me than it actually should.

I was in the green house, I told Akira to just go on home without me to do homework. The kids know their way home now, so no problem with that either. I was waiting for the Little Guardians to arrive, I was staring at a rose that was in full bloom.

Maybe I should send them—no. I can't. Or maybe—that can work. I'll do that on Sunday, I can go looking around, plus, we need more food anyways. I pulled out a letter from my pocket and set it on the table. There, that's taken care of.

The Little Guardians came in, Amu and Tadase looking a bit tired.

"That X-Chara was a tough one," Amu groaned, rolling her shoulders before freezing. Well, I couldn't see. I felt the shift in the air and sensed her eyes on me, plus, less footsteps.

Before they had come in, I had crossed my arms and closed my eyes, my head was tilted to the side, feigning sleep.

"Amu-chan?" Tadase asked before he froze, too, gasping, "Oozora-san!"

I exhaled, breathing deeply.

"What's he doing here?" Yaya asked, her voice laced with a pout.

"Probably for more tea," another voice sounded from above. I didn't move, knowing who it was. Damn, he hid well this time, even I didn't notice him there.

"Tsukiyomi Ikuto!" Tadase yelled. I groaned, rolling my head to the side. Damn kid was loud.

"Shh, Tadase, you'll wake him up." Ikuto coaxed, I felt a hand on my face, petting my hair afterwards. "I've been watching him since he came here. He has the smell, I'm just surprised he never told you despite coming here a lot."

"What?" Tadase growled.

"What don't we know?" Rima asked, sounding curious about me for once. I get the vibe that she doesn't like me.

"Yeah! What!" Yaya repeated, a small 'dechu' coming from Pepe. Adorable.

"He has eggs, not one, but two."

"Shut the fudge up," I growled, curling into myself in the chair, "you guys are loud…" I muttered, tilting my head to the other side. This was surprisingly comfortable.

"He really looks like a girl," Rima snickered. I took a rose from the bush next to me, throwing it at Rima, but made sure that it didn't directly hit her.

It did, of course, blowing a small wind as it flew past her. It stabbed into the glass cleanly, not even cracking.

"How many times have I said that that's rude?" I yawned, rubbing my eyes. When I looked back up, Ikuto's face was right in front of mine. I yelped, jumping back.

My sense are always dulled when I'm waking up.

Okay, so maybe I was half asleep when I said that I was faking, can't blame me; I'm tired.

"Hmm…" Ikuto hummed, ears—cat ears—twitching. "You're eggs smell like they're going to hatch, well, one of them." I growled.

"I knew there was something funny about you, Tsukiyomi. To think you were a hybrid," everyone blinked, "please, I've seen worse, been through worse—those ears," I pointed at his kitty ears, "are the leasat I've seen."

"Interesting," he hummed. I froze, sniffing the air.

"What are you doing, Oozora?"

A gunshot sliced through the air, making everyone jump (except me of course, I just froze in my spot), looking around confused, my eyes widened. I let my guard down.

"What was that, Amu-chan?" Ran popped out, along with Su and Miki.

"It didn't sound too pleasing to my ears," Kiseki rubbed his ears gently.

"LOUD!" Pepe covered her ears.

"It smells like…" Ikuto muttered.

"Tch!" I ran past all of them quickly, exiting the green house. I kept running, looking over my shoulder to see everyone following. Narrowing my eyes, I pumped some sun flames in my legs and ran faster.

'Akira…Akira…Akira…I need to…AKIRA!' I skidded around the corner and stopped, an egg shot out of my bag and was in front of me. It cracked, popping open and there…

Was a small mini-Vendice member in front of me, except I could see their eyes, they were a light purple.

"Hello," he bowed, it was a boy, by the tone of voice. "I am Vendi, your chara."

"Vendi…?" That really sounded like Vendice. He nodded.

"You want to save someone important to you, correct?" He asked, I nodded. What was I supposed to do? I can't sense or see Akira anywhere. "Then do it with your dying will. Chara change!" I felt something appear on my head, my vision being blinded by the object.

But then, I wasn't blind, in some weird way. It was in a way, the bandages I had lent to Chrome all those years ago in a different world and time. I would see everything in a new view. Everything was outlined in black, and see-through, grey, white, it all depended. My line of vision suddenly expanded until I was looking over from an overhead view over the town, immediately locking on to Akira's figure. I sprinted as fast as I could, using a bunch of sun flames in the process, trying to get there quickly.

Because Akira wasn't alone.

His 'friends' were holding guns and Akira was on the floor, having dodged the bullet, most likely.

One was the female teacher from Monday that was waiting for us, the other must be her companion of some sort.

As I neared Akira, everything returned to normal vision, I turned the corner, grabbing Vendi and tucking him in my undershirt pocket.

"—Akira of the Amefurashi, her alone without any companions, in disguise and weaponless, you're finished. Prepare to—"

"Die." I interrupted coldly, whipping out my guns, shooting twice with both gun before putting them back and picking up Akira.

"Lacie!" He exclaimed in surprise.

"Shut up, Akira. You were cornered," I emphasized on 'cornered' because it's only happened once before, and it didn't end very pretty. I tightened my grip on him. He winced but shut his mouth, looking down. I jumped on to a roof and just kept going, passing by the Little Guardians and Ikuto who were still looking for me. Ikuto's head whipped around just as I jumped behind a tall building.

That was close.

Finally arriving home, I opened the door, immediately being tackled by little bodies.

"OH SHI—" I tumbled over with Akira and everyone on me. I groaned. "Get off me you little runts!"

"Shut up, Lacie, just because you and Akira are magically sixteen doesn't mean anything!" Zero laughed.

"Just get off!"

"Okay!" I lay there, staring at the ceiling as even Akira got off.

"Can someone take me to my room?" I whispered, closing my eyes. I already left the letter in the greenhouse, it wasn't a big fact; I just left it on the table, so they should be able to see it.

I felt my body being picked up, so it's obviously Akira. I curled up into myself, suddenly feeling vulnerable.

I just wanted peace and to hind from the mafia world.

But it's a fate that will always follow me, I suppose.

I felt Akira changing my clothes, not that I cared, I know he really loves me in a romantic way, but I can't find myself returning his feelings. Plus, I always wore bandages under everything to cover the battle scars (I can just use mist flames to hide my boobs, no problem there), along with boy shorts. Yes, definitely comfortable.

A blanket covered me and a door shut. I felt something sink next to me on my pillow. Vendi? Probably.

I was alone, with the exception of Vendi, tired, and vulnerable. I just want sleep.

And sleep is what I got.

So…one chara showed up sooner than I planned. But I thought that it fit.

Anyways, triple update, so I'll be a few chapters over. See you there~
