(The Next Morning)
(With Bronté)
Bronté spent the whole night in her cell, chained to the wall, she was barely fed and couldn't get any sleep, she just hung there, head down, too tired to even move. Suddenly the door opened, but still Bronté didn't move, "good morning Bronté, had a nice sleep?" asked Suliman,
"piss off" hissed Bronté, Suliman grabbed her chin,
"really, did Howl and Sophie teach you to use that mouth of yours in such a foal way?" she said smiling, but Bronté just giggled,
"you really are dense, Howl and Sophie gave me to there friends to protect me, they knew that you would try and find the castle and life on the run wasn't the best life for a child. I only found out I was their daughter a week ago"
"oh, so that's the reason why I could never get my hands on you, but bad planning on their part, how can a 14 year old possibly defeat me" Bronté didn't look Suliman in the eyes, she breathed heavily and said,
"they believe that I have a power lerking inside of me right now, Howl wanted to teach me how to use that power, but you sort of interrupted us" Suliman laughed,
"their belief is right, you do have a power inside of you, I don't know what kind of power, if it's dark magic or light. How about I make a proposition for you Bronté" Bronté looked at Suliman with suspicious eyes,
"what kind of proposition?" she asked,
"a proposition that makes sure we both live, if you join me, then you won't be harmed, but you will have to do mission that could lead to people's death" Bronté gasped and struggled in her chains,
"NEVER!" she shouted, Suliman laughed and let go of her chin,
"fine, die then, we'll be arriving a our destination in about 10 minuted, so I'll be back" Suliman turned around and headed out of the cell.
"Where are you taking me?" whispered Bronté, Suliman turned around and smiled,
"somewhere where no one can find you until its too late" and she left. Bronté continued to struggle in her chains, they were starting to hurt and she could see blood slowly coming down her,
"AH LET ME OUT!" she cried, but no one answered, she didn't want to die, she knew that she wouldn't be able to run away from this, Howl and Sophie did warn her and she still went. But she doesn't regret it, she is their daughter and she is strong. "I'll kill you Suliman, mark my words" Bronté whispered and stopped struggling.
(With Howl)
Both Sophie and Howl woke up early, both for the same reason; the desperation to find their daughter. The prince and everyone else was up early as well, so they could get right down to business, "how are you feeling this morning Sophie, you gave us quite a scare last night" asked the prince, Sophie nodded,
"I feel a lot better, thank you. But now is not the time to be worrying about me" she said, everyone agreed,
"you're right, I have already asked a large group of people to put up wanted signs, but we all know Suliman is wise and probably would have people go out for her, or she could be back in the sky like last time" said the prince,
"I doubt that she would be in the sky again but I was planning on searching it. Let's think about this for a second, if you couldn't hide in a palace or the skies, where would you go?" said Howl, everyone thought for a moment and stayed quiet, until Sophie broke the silence,
"well there is always blending in as a town person and living in a normal house or a cave, or maybe even the plains where it is heard that there are old witches and wizards out there". Howl shook his head,
"no, I doubt she would be in the plains, it's too simple, she would chose a place of that is extremely difficult to get to, ever since I was her student, she has always liked games" he said, Sophie frowned,
"but isn't that what Suliman wants, a game, we all think that she is going to a place that could lead us to our deaths, when really, she is in one of those places which are so simple, that it is hard to even believe". Everyone stared at Sophie, "what?"
"That is the most smartest thing I have ever heard" said Howl, "Sophie you are a genius"
"I am?"
"Yes, of course, Suliman would chose somewhere obvious, a mountain, or..." said Howl suddenly pausing,
"or what?"asked the prince,
"or a house in the village that I used to live in" finished Sophie frozen. Howl nodded,
"but the thing is that Suliman must be travelling to a place in a mountain with a strong spell, then making a door that leads into a house, that is all I can think of" Markl nodded,
"I think you're right Howl" he said.
"So what do we do now?" said Sophie,
"we check every mountain, every house for a spell, Suliman would try that, the advantage of being her apprentice is that I know all her tricks, even the ones that she doesn't know I know" Sophie nodded.
"Let's get to work then" and everyone nodded.
(With Bronté)
Bronté didn't know how long she had been changed to that wall now, the cuts on her wrists were getting worse and she was tired. She hissed as the door opened revealing Suliman and a guard, "we have arrived princess, let's get going" said Suliman, but Bronté continued to hiss until she was hit across the face by the guard, he grabbed her cheeks and said,
"you be nice princess, Suliman here is letting you live just a little bit longer, be greatful" but Bronté spat in his face.
"I am no princess" she said, Suliman laughed,
"behave Charles. Oh but child, you are more than you think, but I hope we don't find out what that is" she said, "let's go". With that order Bronté was unchained from the wall, she grabbed her bloody wrists and held them in pain,
"move it brat" shouted Charles as he grabbed Bronté by the collar and shoved her out of the cell. They walked through the ship until Bronté was blinded by the bright light of the sun and the fresh air. She looked around to find they were in a cave,
"where are we?" she asked,
"Mt Tolelia, and unknown mountain to many people, but if your father thinks hard enough, he will remember this place, I taught your father how to use his magic here" Suliman said, Bronté frowned, "he was an extremely talented child for his age, and now here we are, a few decades later, with his offspring in the same place. But I'm not prepared to teach you anything" Bronté smirked,
"like hell I want to know something for an old hag such as yourself" she said, Charles slapped her and shoved her on the hard ground. Suliman came closer and grabbed her chin,
"foul mouth of yours doesn't deserve to be taught, your father will surely find us, first he has to use the power of the ancients. And what do we have hear in front of us, a daughter of the ancients, that tongue of yours is more useful so I won't cut it off, I need you for more than just bait, you have a certain power inside of you, and I need that power. And that is how you will die. I shall drain all of that power out of that body of yours and use it to have my way with the world. Everyone who defies me will burn" she said, but Bronté continued to smirk.
"you're a pathetic villain, you know that right, I don't know what power you mean but I will never give anything to you. I will stop you with my own two hands if I have to"
"oh I would love to see that, now sit here and don't move while we make a door" Bronté frowned,
"a door? For what?" she asked,
"a door to the town I shall destroy first, your fire will kill everyone, even those people who took you in, that treated you as their own, while your parents left you"
"I will be destroying no town Suliman, my parents did it to protect me for a bitch like you. I will never hold a grudge against people who have done something to me that will protect me" Suliman smirked,
"you have a very strong will and heart, I guess you get that from your mother, I remember when the first time I met her, she had such a strong will that she tried to convince me that your father wasn't weak"
"then I am proud to be my mothers child"
"we'll see about that" said Suliman before leaving Bronté on the cold hard ground with Charles at her side.
And there's the next chapter, I'm so sorry I haven't updated in such a long time, I'm a terrible write aren't I. I did so much better with the prequel but I guess I had more time then. Anyway I hope you like this chapter. Remember to review, I do like reviews, they are my friends and they keep me going.
