I own nothing

"Over here, guys," Gohan said to the worried Titans following him, finding a spot in the sand to lay in on his back. He had changed into a pair of shorts and sandals and looked up at the clear blue sky with a wide grin on his face. The feeling of the sun singeing him wrapped him like a warm blanket during Winter, and he laid his head on his hands behind his head. His friends were still in battle gear.

"We have to prepare for tomorrow," Robin said sternly, "I don't know what in the hell has gotten into you but in case you didn't know, we are meeting the Master tomorrow."

"I remember something my dad had said to me before we went to fight Cell," Gohan said. "The more you stress out about losing, the more likely you are to lose."

"I get what you're saying," Robin said, still not believing that Gohan would turn down a chance to train, "but we're stressing out about winning the Master's game. You should be too."

Gohan sat up. "Nah."

Robin's face turned red with anger. "Gohan! Listen to yourself! Trunks told you what he's capable of! We need to hone our skills before we face the Master!"

"You all go ahead," Gohan said, "just know that cramming for an exam makes you perform worse."

"This isn't high school!" Robin shouted. "This is life and death!"

"Two unavoidable things," Gohan said, laying back down. "We've been postponing the latter for this long, right?"

"And I want to keep it that way," Robin said. "Now come on!"

"Nah," Gohan said with a small grin. "I'd be down for fishing."

"Fishing? You obviously cannot comprehend the serious shit going on here! If we win, the Master loses his power!"

Gohan shrugged.

Robin sent a punch into Gohan's cheek. "Knock it off!"

"Robin!" Raven exclaimed, gripping his shoulder. "He'll come to us when he's ready. I have a feeling that this is the best thing for him right now."

Robin grudgingly agreed. "Find us back at the hotel by nine."

"Are you sure you all don't want to stay?" Gohan asked calmly, as if he hadn't a care in the world.

Robin's jaw tightened. "By nine."

"Alright." Gohan closed his eyes. "See you." Gohan's grin returned. His hair subtly turned blonde and his aura faded, making it look closer to bleach blonde. He started thinking about all of his adventures, from fighting his uncle, to saving Dende, to defeating Garlic Junior, killing Cell, then finally this. He laid back and dozed off, thinking he'd only be out for a few minutes.

He opened his eyes to the night sky and looked up, seeing the white light of a chi blast about to take his head off. His eyes widened and he kicked up and back, hitting the caster in the face. He spun around, knocking whoever it was off his feet. Gohan stood up and spiked his aura, blowing sand everywhere. He glared at the strange humanoids in posh, vibrantly colorful alien robes. The tall, wide and muscular one had pink skin and long, flowing white hair. He looked older than his companion, with wrinkles in his face and hands and his purple eyes were more stern. He towered above Gohan and his partner, a short, scrawny, light purple-skinned being with a spiky, white mohawk. He had more of a playful look in his purple eyes as he stared at the young warrior. Their ears were pointed like elves and had round earrings with a white top and yellow bottom that shined brightly. Gohan fell into a strange stance, partly crouching while leaning back with his hands in a position looking like the heads of snakes.

"I told you," the shorter one said with a moderately pitched, calm voice. "He's the one."

"We'll have to see about that," the taller one growled in a deeper, rougher voice, letting out a battle cry and charging.

Gohan tried to dodge but took a powerful punch to his face, blowing him over the water. The shorter one chuckled and followed his partner over the water at lightning speed, flying in a manner where he stood upright. Gohan took a blow to his stomach. Gohan folded over the larger being's fist before being drilled into the ocean floor. The large alien flew above the water and stood next to his short companion with his arms. "You overdid it," the purple alien said.

"No, I didn't," the pink one said.

"Yes, you did," the purple one said.

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"You told me to go through with the test."

"I never told you to kill him."

"Death is overrated," the pink one said, rolling his eyes. His ears stuck upward. "What is that?" he said, looking into the deep water.

"I don't know," the purple one said. "Maybe he isn't completely dead?"

"He's mostly alive," the pink one said, sticking out his tongue. "He can't be completely dead."

"Well how is he mostly alive?" the purple one asked, putting an annoyed expression on their faces.

A blue phaser as wide as a small building shot from the water, swallowing them in blue energy that washed over them and went into space. An angry Super Saiyan rose from the sea surrounded in yellow energy that dried him off instantly. He was surprised that the two beings weren't fazed by his attack, but his aggravation kept him from showing it. "Apparently you are not aware of Earth's customs. One of them is to not flash an energy wave in anyone's face."

"I told you the drop kick would have worked," the short alien said.

"May I attack again?" the older one asked.

"Yes," the purple one said.

Gohan dodged a punch and flipped the giant over his shoulder. He charged at the little one, finding him to be faster than the big one as they dodged all of the other's attacks. Gohan threw a punch that was caught and he found himself arched backward over the little man's knee. Gohan saw the pink one charging toward them and he grabbed the little one's leg, smacking him into the big guy. He raised his hands and placed them facing outward on his forehead. "Masenko: Ha!" he shouted, firing a yellow flash of chi. He missed and looked up before being pelted by white energy blasts that pushed him onto the sand. They landed on either side of him as he spiked his aura again, preparing to go a level higher to properly deal with them.

"You were right," the large man chuckled. "We have a chance after all."

"Let me tell you how that's bullshit." Gohan's chi exploded and electricity filled his aura. His hair turned an electric yellow and his eyes matched the blue of the sparks around him.

The small being laughed and threw a fist into the air. "He's right! He's right after all!" he cried. "Please! Gohan, son of Goku, listen!"

Gohan's aura did not fade. "I'm listening."

"We apologize for startling you like that," the little but powerful man said, "but catching you off guard was the only way we'd be able to truly test you."

"You still haven't told me who you two are," Gohan said.

"Be more respectful to him," the large man said, brushing past him and standing next to his leader. "Haven't you seen a deity before?"

"Yes," Gohan said, "and he doesn't greet his subjects with a gut punch."

"I am the Supreme Kai," the little man said with a very regal, powerful projection, "the chief deity of the eastern sector of the eleven known planes, or dimensions as they are more commonly known."

"And I am Kibito," the pink one said with more gravity in his voice, "The Supreme Kai's bodyguard!"

"We are here because we believe you can pick up where other warriors have failed," Supreme Kai said. "The threat you're facing is nothing new to us, but something we've tried again and again to stop; your Doctor has helped us track his path, but now that the Master is attempting to release the interplanar horror once again, we must act with the utmost severity."

"What threat, what doctor, and what interplanar horror?" Gohan asked, barely keeping all this new information from spinning around his head.

"Find the other warriors that have congregated to this test of might," Supreme Kai said. "We shall discuss the intricacies of our past and your future. Rose, Ravager, may have told you

about what we are and what they are, but not who. Trunks was told to keep quiet about our arrival, so please do not be angry at him. All will be explained. Gather the Titans someplace quiet, like your chambers."

"My room?" Gohan said.

"Yes."

"All of the Titans?" Gohan said, remembering the bet Robin made with Batgirl.

"Yes."

"In my room?"

"You're making me impatient," Supreme Kai said.

"Follow me," Gohan said, bursting into the air with the gods following behind him. They flew to the other side of the island, finding the Titans sparring with each other in a free for all. Raven relied entirely on her magic, with her casted leg holding her back. "Everyone, stop for a second," he said, dropping into the center of the melee. He caught a kick from Robin and a punch from Beast Boy.

"You finally decided to show up?" Robin asked. "You're ten minutes early."

"I met some people that can bring us up to speed on what's really going on here," Gohan said. "Meet the Supreme Kai and his bodyguard, Kibito. They requested that everyone be brought, and since you won the bet, it looks like everyone includes Young Justice."

"How do we know they are not from the Master to gain our trust?" Robin asked in his usual snarky manner.

"The Supreme Kai of the east quadrant?" Raven asked.

The god looked at Raven's gray skin and embedded chakra jewel with an expression as if he smelled something foul. "Why, yes."

Her jaw dropped. "The one who survived," she stammered. "I thought you were just a myth."

"A myth told by whom?" Kibito asked sternly.

"That's how we know they're on our side," Gohan said with a grin. "Should I take the Z-Fighters and Trunks or Young Justice?"

"Young Justice," Robin said. "Batgirl won't believe me if I come telling them of gods and demons and lions and bears."

Gohan nodded and took off into the air. The gods stayed behind him in pursuit through the city until they found a red-haired, light-skinned teenage girl walking down the sidewalk in a yellow and black bikini with a musclebound boy with black hair and wearing swim trunks and an athletic built young woman with long, black hair and an American flag themed bikini who wouldn't stop staring at him. "Hello; what's your name?" Gohan said.

"Barbara," the redhead said.

"My friends really need to talk to you and all your friends, and it's kinda urgent, so could you gather the adolescent gathering of moralized equality and-"

"Kibito," Supreme Kai said, rolling his eyes.

Kibito fazed out, taking the three teens around the waist and hugging them tightly. Superboy barely could not break Kibito's grasp. "What the hell is going on here, pineapple head?"

"That's a new one," Gohan retorted, "tell your friends to meet the Titans and I in my room ASAP."

"Why?" Barbara asked.

"You're about to find out-"

"My lord!" Rose's voice piped from behind the hulking deity. The Supreme Kai peeked over Kibito's head and grinned at the mysterious, bikini-clad heroine kneeling out of respect.

"Ravager," the Supreme Kai said contently. "I'm glad you're alright. Come; it is time to bring everyone up to speed."

"Yes, my lord," she said. "Where are we meeting?"

"In Gohan's chambers," the Kai said.

"I shall be there," she said, vanishing moments later.

"Come, warrior," Supreme Kai said. "Kibito, place them down and have them assemble the rest of the Titans."

Batgirl scowled. "We're not Titans-"

"You dare defy the lord of lords of the east?"

"Yes!" Superboy and Wonder Girl shouted back.

"No, they don't," Batgirl said. She smirked at Gohan. "Tell Robin we'll be there soon."

"I will," Gohan said. "Robin did tell me you were nosy."

"Nosy?!" Batgirl exclaimed.

"Kibito, on second thought, round up any hero of merit on the island," the Kai said, sounding a bit worried. "I do not want to put any more lives on the line, but we will need all the force we can gather."

"Yes, my lord," Kibito said. He dropped the three leaders of Young Justice to their feet and disappeared.

Gohan swallowed nervously. There would be a lot of people. He was right. An hour had passed as Gohan had busily rounded up all of Young Justice, Kibito found some of the independent heroes who had decided to watch the rest of the tournament, and the Teen Titans gathered the Z-Fighters and a bickering Trunks and Blackfire. They were all in his room, roughly 50 superpowered vigilantes from all corners of the globe, and two gods. "Everyone," Supreme Kai said. "Please, listen-"

"What is this about?" one fighter asked. "I was enjoying a wonderful time with my family until your giant pink-skinned friend here plucked me outta my seat and brought me here."

"All will be explained if you just-"

"Who are you, even?" another martial artist from the tournament asked.

"Why should we listen to you?" another one asked.

"Quiet!" Kibito boomed, silencing the room. All eyes were on the small deity.

"Before I begin explaining what we are and why we have gathered you all here, I must warn you that many of you may die." The Kai watched half the room clear of nonbelievers, leaving the Z-Fighters, the Titans, Pantha as the only independent, and Young Justice. Ravager and Trunks stood on either side of the being and Blackfire stood in the corner of the room intensely bored already. "Now that we have cleared out the cowards," he said bitterly, "I may introduce myself. I am the Supreme Kai, lord of the eastern sector of the eleven planes. I am here for the same reason you all bear arms: I am here to protect the universe from evil. Well, valiant warriors, an evil far greater than your universe has ever seen has come to wreak havoc and destroy all you know and love. Trunks, Rose, thank you for aiding them up to this point. Gohan, thank you for being who Trunks made you up to be."

Gohan looked at Trunks warily. Superboy scoffed.

"Tomorrow, you will meet the Master," Supreme Kai said. "He will not appear to you truthfully, but rather send his most powerful minions to face you before sending his armies of doom into the universe. However, we believe we know who the Master is, and his goal for his path of destruction."

"First," Robin interjected. "I want to know the relationship you have with Trunks and Ravager."

"Ah, well," Supreme Kai said. "My older sister, the Supreme Kai of time in the eastern sector of the universe is in charge of the process of the time you perceive. Trunks inventing his time machine to warn you about Cell caught her attention, and after he returned to his own time, he was contacted by her to join a league of other warriors dedicated to stopping evil across the dimensions called the Time Patrol. They are known by Earthlings as Doctors; this has been the first time anyone has called Trunks anything other than 'the Doctor' while I've been present. Ravager was one of his companions during his ventures into the relevantly fresh past, and as you may have been told, her mission was to track Slade to confirm her suspicions of his involvement in this universe's bout with the Master."

Gohan glared at Trunks. "Is there anything else you'd like to tell the class?"

"I'm sorry, Gohan," Trunks said. "I wasn't sure how you would react after what happened with Cell and Goku. I didn't want you to be overwhelmed."

"Next time," Gohan said, "just tell us everything. If we can handle Cell, we can handle the Master. It's getting hard to trust you, Trunks."

"Trunks told you all that he needed to tell you," Supreme Kai said.

"Can someone tell me what the hell is going on?!" Superboy shouted.

The Titans and Z-Fighters stared at Young Justice, finding them utterly confused. "We'd better start from the beginning," Trunks said, telling them the reason behind all that had happened so far. "Now we are here, ready to finally end this genocidal maniac once and for all. We'll make that bastard pay for what he's done, from the time of the Warlocks to now."

"We believe the being in charge is Bibidi the Warlock, the father of the escaped Warlock duo during the war," the Supreme Kai said, "and that he is planning to awaken the being known as-"

Every chi sensor gasped. "Who the hell is that?"

The window glass behind the Kai shattered. A tall demon with pink skin and large, pointed ears, a black widow's peak with a goatee, and yellow eyes, wearing blue robes with a flowing white cape stepped into the room with a large, red scimitar. The Ma-Djinn symbol sat under the widow's peak. "Hello, old friend. I am here to remind the young Gohan of his obligation in fifteen hours on the arena grounds."

"Dabura!" the Kai gasped. "Everyone, out! Kibito, fall on me-"

"Forget it, little man," Blue Beetle said, charging the demon with Zatanna, Supergirl, Offspring, and Captain Marvel Junior.

Dabura spat on each of them as he dodged their attacks. "What the hell was that?" Zatanna scoffed, winding up his wand for another impact spell. "You really think that grossing us out will stop us?" He tried stepping forward but found himself unable to move his legs or arms. He looked at his hand and screamed in horror as it quickly turned to stone. His friends experienced the same process, freezing in screams of terror.

"Hijo de perra!" Pantha lunged, throwing a punch into Dabura's cheek. She wound up for another one but was tackled by Tien as his best friend launched one of his most powerful attacks.

"Wolf Fang Fist!" Yamcha shouted, knocking Dabura out of the building in the form of a sleek, black wolf. He turned to the other Z-Fighters who were holding the rest of Young Justice back from certain doom. "Gohan, you and the Titans get Young Justice out of here. The Z-Fighters will hold this guy off. Get to the Lookout with the Kais."

"No," Kibito said, stepping in front of the wolf bandit. "I will fight him. You all must go discuss the plan." He turned to the Supreme Kai. "It has been an honor, my lord." He dived out of the window with a battle cry.

"No!" Trunks shouted, just barely stopping himself from charging behind him.

The Kai worriedly watched his best friend and guard as he barreled toward the demon. "To the lookout!" he shouted, throwing his hand into the air. When everyone blinked, they found themselves on Kami's lookout.

The members of Young Justice who could move fell back in shock, taking it all in at once. It was cold, and very hard to breathe. "Where are we?" Superboy asked.

Kid Flash looked over the edge, seeing the clouds below. "Yikes."

"Kami!" the Supreme Kai exclaimed.

"He's busy, bitch," Popo's voice said from inside the small building near the edge of the lookout.

"Oh, hello, Mister Popo," Supreme Kai said nervously, losing his nerve all of the sudden. The black, mystical entity and the god of Earth walked out of their building and saw the group of hardened warriors and fresh fighters.

"I see Dabura is back," Popo said, tapping the five stone heroes. "He did a pretty bang up job."

"He turned our friends into stone," Superboy said. "That's not a good thing."

Popo blankly stared at Superboy, making the Kryptonian quiver. He grinned. "Welcome to the lookout, maggots. Be up at six; that's when I make toast."

"Well, don't worry," Dende said as Young Justice watched him cast several spells on the statues. "It will wear off in about a half hour."

"Only killing the bitch gets rid of that spell for good," Popo said. "Typical of Satan, not sharing his secrets with anyone."

"Satan?" Young Justice exclaimed.

"Your world's devil is named Dabura," Dende said nonchalantly, making Aqualad, a firm believer that the devil did not exist, faint. "What is he doing out?"

"What the hell is going on?!" Superboy shouted again.

"This is some anime-level bull right now," Kid Flash said, taking a seat and a couple deep breaths. "Fast plot, dramatic death of a character just introduced, it's like we're in a cartoon or something."

"I'll explain Dabura after the catch of defeating Bibidi," the Kai said. "Please, concentrate on me. I know you are all confused and worried about your friends, but this will detail what we have to do to ensure Bibidi's defeat."

The group kept talking.

"Hey," Popo said, silencing them and making them sit down in a circle around the Kai.

"Thank you," the Kai said.

Popo nodded and vanished inside the building.

All eyes were on the Kai. "When you reach the Master, you will find his tower fortress. Once you enter, you will find his minions waiting for you. Whoever goes in must not go alone, but we all cannot go inside. He is trying to gather energy in the final stages of awakening this demon, and having more than seven people inside would push it over the edge. The team of seven must go in and destroy the Warlocks, who will inevitably raise the spirits of the warriors on this island. Those on the outside will suppress the horde."

"How will the people on the outside know when it's over?" Robin asked.

"When…" the Kai glanced at the Z-Fighters then looked away.

"When what?" Starfire asked.

"When six return," Trunks said, nervously looking back and forth at the Teen Titans.

"One of us is going to die?" Batgirl asked, looking at her fellow Young Justice members.

"If that's the case," Vegeta said, "let the Namekian, Kakarot's earthling friends and I go. We're familiar with death."

"Well, it's not that simple," Supreme Kai said, "I have to-"

"It's not really going to matter though," Krillin said. "With the Dragonballs, whoever dies can just be brought back, right?"

Tien laughed. "Yeah! No worries, everyone! Just wait a year then we'll-"

"Actually," Dende said shakily, stepping into the circle. "As a new Kami, my Shen Long doesn't have the power to bring people back from the dead like Piccolo's other half. It has the power to raise the dead, but it can't give them back as they were. You'd only be benefitting the Warlocks if you tried wishing anyone back this time."

"How long will it take for you to get the power to do what my other half did?" Piccolo asked.

Dende squeezed his eyes shut. "Roughly sixteen thousand years."

Every hero winced.

"So then," Yamcha said quietly, looking at the ground. "This is it for a while."

Silence hit the lookout.

"Tell us more about the demon," Batgirl told the Kai.

"Yes, well," the Kai said. "It is a very rare event that a demon will be awakened through a shelling process. In all of my years, I've only heard of eight, and have seen two of them. Yes, extremely rare." The Kai nodded, refusing to look at any of the warriors. "We will find a pink cocoon in Bibidi's chambers," he said, "more than likely it will be with the Dragonballs that will grant him the power to raise all of the dead on the planet to consume the Earth. That is where the demon will hatch, and tampering with that kind of uncontrolled power will dissasemble the fibers of your being as it breaks down in a spiritually nuclear explosion. All of this will happen from a single touch from the hand of a pure heart, and there are only a handful of us who possess that trait, one being myself."

"How do you know all of this?" Batgirl asked.

"Because the Kai's have done it before with a Kyliak egg a Karoan mage was trying to hatch with the energy from the forest," Supreme Kai said solemnly. "I was on a scouting mission with the South Minor Kai and found a blue egg tangled in the trees. I tried to touch it, but found myself pushed aside, watching my best friend punch through it and tell me goodbye."

"Wouldn't you have died if the explosion was that large?" Robin asked.

"No," the Kai said. "Only those who make contact with the egg are destroyed and sent to other world."

The lookout was silent for a couple minutes, with everyone deep in thought about themselves, their families, and their friends. Some of them were sitting adjacent to each other. All of the Z-Fighters had died before, except Gohan, so even if the Dragonballs could bring someone back, it wouldn't be them.

"Ouch," Kid Flash said, breaking the silence.

"This doesn't have to be a suicide mission," Robin said. "There must be some way we can activate the demon's self destruct without coming into contact with it."

"We've tried every option that exists," the Supreme Kai said. "We even skinned one of our dead and attempted to destroy a Sarlakan, finding even our most extreme of measures to be naught."

"You haven't met me," Robin and Batgirl said at the same time.

"I'm sorry," the Supreme Kai said sternly. "This is how it has to be."

"We'll find a way," Batgirl said. "No one is dying, you got that?"

Another minute of silence passed. "Who has a pure heart, besides for you?" Beast Boy asked.

The Kai, Trunks, and Ravager stood up. "Beast Boy," Ravager said, making Beast Boy's eyes widen. He shakily stood up. He turned to Piccolo who gave him a reassuring nod.

"Koriand'r," the Kai said. Vegeta stared at the princess as she stood up bravely. He chuckled.

"A true warrior," he whispered proudly.

"And," Trunks said with a heavy breath. "Gohan."

Silence once again settled on the lookout like a plague.

Gohan hopped to his feet. He opened his mouth to speak. "And it means nothing," Robin cut in. "Everyone stand! We are not going to let the Master dampen our spirits any longer! We are all powerful warriors who let nothing stand in our way! We've put freaks capable of destroying cities and planets in jail cells or six feet under! To me, the Master is just another one of those freaks. He just has a different costume and a couple different tricks." He spiked his aura. "Fate does not control us. The other world does not control us. We control our destiny, and if we want to live, damn it, we will live."

Gohan continued. "What Supreme Kai has told you was nothing but the prognosis. Sacrifice has happened before because no one has tried anything new. My time among you has exposed me to the brightest group of individuals I have ever met; if we can't figure out how to solve this problem with all seven pieces still in the game, then we're just not trying hard enough!"

"We have all done amazing things," Robin said, "from defeating the likes of Slade, Cell, the Joker, and the college admissions system, a bunch of wrinkled Warlocks cannot defeat us!"

"You all have extraordinary abilities," Gohan said. "Let tomorrow be the reason you have them! Who will fight with me?"

"I think you already knew that answer from the start," Yamcha said. The Z-Fighters formed a ring around Gohan and fell into fighting stances. "And there's no way I'll let you die."

"No," the Kai said, moving into the circle. "The pure of heart must go. Beast Boy, Starfire, join Gohan and me."

The Z-Fighters stepped back as the four with the pure hearts stepped in the center of the circle. "I'm not leaving my students," Piccolo said.

"Nor shall I leave my mentor," Trunks said, standing next to Gohan.

Vegeta stepped forward. "I had a moment of weakness, and I must atone."

"No, prince," the Kai said. "Your moment will not be now. You will know when."

"I will accompany a fellow warrior if there is a chance of her death," Vegeta said sternly.

"No," the Kai said. "You will be needed on the outside. We cannot risk having all of our only Saiyans die."

"This is my student, and I had made a promise to-"

"No!" the Kai barked, blowing some trees off the lookout. "We cannot risk you turning again toward evil! You could end up hurting her more than saving her!

"Get back up here!" Popo shouted from inside his building. The trees flew back onto the lookout and replanted themselves.

Vegeta's fists clenched. He reached into his pocket and tossed Starfire his Scouter. "Listen here, puny god, I will be watching that red screen for the tiniest fluctuation in her power level. If it goes down even by one, I am coming in there. The demon in there might be 'it-who-swallows-worlds' but I am 'the-wrecker-of-your-shit,' and trust me, I'll be a whole lot scarier than any demon you can conjure."

The Kai's eyes turned blue with anger. He took a deep breath. "We have room for one more."

"I'll go," Wonder Girl said.

"No, let me," Superboy said.

"Young Justice will stay on the outside," Gohan said. "This is more our fight than it is yours."

"Make me stay, chump," the Kryptonian said.

"I'll make you stay alright!" Gohan snapped.

"I'll go," Robin said.

"No more Titans either," Beast Boy said. "I don't mean to pull rank, but somebody's gotta be representing out here."

"I'm not leaving you, B," Cyborg said.

"Robin and Raven will need you more, Cy," Beast Boy said. "Two of our strongest members are going in. They need you."

The other Z-Fighters and Pantha took their chance at joining the party, but they were all turned down. Finally, Muten Roshi hobbled toward the center. "Gohan," he said in his seldom heard serious tone. "Before your father died, he made me make a promise to you, to never desert you in your time of need. Don't let me break that promise, boy."

Gohan wanted to say no, but he couldn't bring himself to say it. He knew Roshi would be harder on himself if he had lived on the outside than dying on the inside. "Then it's settled," the Kai said. "I, Gohan, Garfield, Koriand'r, Piccolo, Trunks, and Roshi will end Bibidi and Babidi once and for all."

"How are we going to get rid of them for good if they can bring themselves from the dead?" Beast Boy asked.

"I have one more secret," Trunks said. "It's special to the dimension where I live now, but since I've mastered it, I think it's time to give it a go in this one."

"I hope you're right," Supreme Kai said, "because if you're not, things will start to get messy."

"What should we do in the meantime?" Kid Flash asked.

"Do whatever you want," the Kai said. When they blinked, they found themselves back in Gohan's hotel room. "I'm going to go check on Kibito. I can feel them still going at it in otherworld. Hopefully, Kibito still has the upperhand. I will meet you all right here at eleven."

"In my room?" Gohan asked, looking at all the heroes.

"Yes," the Kai said. "In fact, why don't you all sleep here."

"How generous," Robin said. "Thank you, Supreme Kai."

"Thank you, Teen Titans," the Kai said, vanishing.

Tien and Pantha walked out of the room first. The other adults followed suit, leaving the group of college freshman aged men and women to their own devices. Trunks and Blackfire left next; Blackfire grinned deviously at the blushing Saiyan. The statued teens gasped for air as their bodies became organic once again. Blue Beetle looked around the room. "Did we win?"

"Not yet," Superboy said, feeling the other Kryptonian's head to make sure she was alright. "Young Justice, hit the sack. We have a big day tomorrow."

The superhero squad followed him in a single file out of the room. Wonder Girl turned and winked at Gohan when Starfire wasn't looking. The six Titans sat on Gohan's bed and stared at each other for a couple seconds in silence.

No one was sure who hit Beast Boy in the face with a pillow first.

Housekeeping was going to love the feathers.

And the green ones.
