A/N: I took a couple weeks off on vacation, so I'm just as behind in this story as my other. This chapter is especially long so I hope you enjoy. Also, I have added a scene that references some characters from a short story I wrote before, so see if you can guess who they are.
Chapter 45 - Relatives
Then next morning it took the alarm clock to finally wake Penny and Leonard up, and when they did wake up they were sore from sleeping all night in the same positions they went to bed in. But neither of them minded, because they had fallen asleep holding each other very close and tightly, their arms around each other while their legs were intermingled together, from their bodies being pressed so tight against each other. They also slept very soundly the whole night, subconsciously knowing each of them were securely in each others arms and safe.
This closeness continued when they both came down the stairs holding hands, not willing to give up the intimacy they had been sharing since Penny came home the night before. So watching the two of them at the breakfast table made Meryl have to smile as she watched her daughter snuggled under Leonard's arm, drinking her coffee while sharing a pastry with her soon to be husband, both of them giving each their full attention. They both seemed like they were in a world of their own, their eyes only for each other, and Meryl was happy because they were happy and extremely in love.
Wyatt also noticed their closeness while they helped with chores, that morning, neither one of them straying far from the other and seemingly finding any excuse to kiss each other while they worked. It made Wyatt smile as only a father could, every real father wanting their daughter to find someone who would love her and cherish her, like he had ever since she was born. Leonard's actions, the last few months, made Wyatt feel good and he knew he would happily turn his youngest daughter over to Leonard, to be his wife on Saturday, because he knew Leonard would never purposely do anything to hurt her.

It was a little before noon when Leonard and Penny came in from completing the chores, Wyatt using the extra time provided by their help to catch up on some things he had been putting off. So it was with silent agreement that both of them went back to the room to undress and get in the shower together, no sooner getting the water adjusted when their lips came together and their bare bodies became pressed tightly against each other. They were so sensitive to each others touch and soon their skin to skin contact turned their kissing into an almost animalist lust as they kissed each other hard, their desire for each other amplified from their morning being so close together.
It was several minutes later when their lips finally separated, each of then resting their heads on their partner's shoulder, both panting as they tried to catch their breath. "We should probably wash now before your parent's hot water heater runs empty." Leonard finally broke the silence.
Penny nodded, but didn't move, her knees feeling a little weak after this moment of passion with Leonard, her actually holding on a little bit to him right then. It didn't help that Leonard was running his hands over her back which felt so good and made her only hang on to him tighter and close her eyes. So is was a surprise when she felt a soapy wash cloth against her skin, and she couldn't help but moan slightly when Leonard started to wash her back. Her back wasn't all Leonard washed and it felt so good to be washed by him she didn't say a thing, just stood there like a helpless glob of Jell-O as he pampered her.
They dried each other off then put robes on, both walking hand in hand out of the bathroom, both of them looking at each other with dilated eyes, breathing heavily. So it wasn't a question that needed asking as they both went to the bed to sit down and then take each other into their arms to resume where they left off in the shower. Their kissing soon turned into a full make out session as they quickly ended up lying on the bed, Leonard kissing Penny's neck while he hovered over her, her writhing underneath him in extreme pleasure.
However, Leonard still couldn't bring himself to make love to her, his fear of hurting her during penetration, after all she went through, too strong to really act on the passion he had for the beautiful woman below him. But it did make him feel horrible to see her so obviously turned on, the need to make her happy so entrenched in him, and he did love to touch her, so Leonard put his hand under her robe. He gently ran his hand on her skin always amazed how soft she felt and how beautiful she was, until he reached her breast, lightly putting his hand over the soft skin and hard nipple which told him his fiancée was very much enjoying his touch.
Penny was less coherent to what was happening, Leonard kissing her neck was driving her wild, she had been aroused as hell the last couple weeks, so Leonard holding and touching her only made her want him more. Even yesterday, after talking to her mother, she had found it difficult all day to take her mind off of Leonard, her using last night and this morning's closeness with him to partially satisfy that need that had built up in her. So when Leonard slipped his hand under her robe to gently touch her breast, Penny gasped, and when he grazed her nipple with his thumb, Penny moaned, "Oh Leonard."
However, the knocks on the door and Lindsey's next words, "Penny you ready to go shopping." suddenly broke the moment.
Penny let out a huge sigh, "Crap."
Leonard just looked at her, "Shopping?"
"Yeah, to get a dress for tonight." Penny told him in frustration.
"Oh" was the only thing a slightly surprised Leonard could say.
"Penny come on you can have sex later." Lindsey now teased.
"Shut up!" Penny wanted to kill her, she was so frustrated at that moment.
"Should I tell mom you are going to be late because you are getting some from Leonard?" Lindsey giggled, she was having fun now.
Penny looked at Leonard her face getting red, not from embarrassment but anger and Leonard was just happy that anger was not directed towards him. "So help me Lindsey, I'm going to whip your ass if you don't shut up."
"You can try." Lindsey responded
Penny jumped off the bed and started to the door, but before she got there she heard Leonard. "Penny!"
Leonard wanted to laugh but knew better, the fighting between sisters was adorable, but Penny somehow lost her robe when she jumped out of bed, probably because he had opened it just a minute ago, which was funny but not the way he wanted her to leave the room. He was actually surprised she had gotten herself so mad that she didn't realize she was about to confront her sister nude. "Penny you have nothing on." he informed her.
Penny's anger drained and she now seemed to be blushing over her whole body. "OOPs" she then unconsciously covered her breasts and crotch with her arms while she quickly moved back to the bed and Leonard, grabbing him and hugging him like that would cover her up.
It was only a few seconds later they heard, "Wimp, I didn't think you were serious. Get you ass downstairs fast or I will tell mom you are too busy banging Leonard to go shopping." they then heard steps on the stairs as Lindsey went downstairs.
Leonard had held Penny close so she didn't chase after her sister, but was happy to feel Penny melt into him instead of trying to escape. "You better get down there."
"Screw her." Penny responded while nuzzling her face into Leonard's neck, putting a small kiss there. Then out of the clear blue Penny asked, "Would your collar cover here." She kissed his neck again, "If I put a hickey there."
"Why do you want to do that." Leonard asked confused.
"I want to mark you so everyone knows your are mine and only mine." she answered quickly.
"Would you be happy if I got a tattoo that said 'Property of Penny Hofstadter'? he teased her.
"No, no tattoos for you, I want your body untouched, it is too perfect the way it is." she responded.
"But you have two, a cookie monster and the symbol for 'Soup'."
"That's courage." she defended
"Sheldon said it was 'Soup'." he teased
"Sheldon doesn't know everything or isn't always right."
Leonard got serious, "Yeah, you are right."
"Leonard does it bother you I have tattoos?" Penny asked quietly
"That isn't really my decision on what you do with your body." he was curious where she was going with this.
"Yeah, it sort of is." Penny sighed, "I am giving myself to Leonard, body and soul, I'm yours forever, no more being unsure or hiding things from you, my shields are down forever with you."
"I feel the same way Penny."
"You have been open with me for a long time Sweetie, so I know how much you care for me. I'm just letting you know that is the way I'm with you now, I'm not afraid of being hurt anymore, not with you, I'm yours completely with no reservations." She gave him another kiss on his neck.
Leonard was a little stunned at her talking so seriously and so…loving to him, he figured her not looking directly at him made it easier for her to get out what she wanted to say. He loved her so much, but he could see she was getting herself too emotional so he decided to lighten things up. "I do like the 'Cookie Monster' on the cheek of you ass."
Penny giggled, "Well then I need to mark you too." she then kissed his neck before she started to suck on it, Leonard having trouble not chuckling, but determined not to move until she was done.

Penny came into the kitchen with Leonard in tow, his hickey very obvious since he was wearing a T-shirt without a collar, him slightly embarrassed but still happy Penny was happy. Penny, on the other hand, seemed to strut next to him with pride on how he looked, knowing everyone knew she marked him and not embarrassed at all. Meryl just shook her head slightly upon seeing them, her daughter telling her earlier that Penny and Leonard were practicing their honeymoon up there just moments before. Though she wasn't sure what Lindsey said was true after what Penny told her yesterday and her knowledge of her soon to be son-in-law.
There was something else though that made Meryl smile, her daughter seemed happy and confident, it reminded her of how she was before she went to California, when she thought she could conquer the world. It was so good to see that sparkle in her eyes again after all she went through and it made Meryl understand that Penny was really back to herself now. Meryl also knew that Leonard had a lot to do with her daughter being so happy, she was trilled to be marrying him and have a life with him, she was looking to her future again and that future included Leonard.
"You guys hungry?" Meryl asked as Penny grabbed two glasses of lemonade for her and Leonard.
"Starved." Penny quickly answered
"Well hard work does build an appetite." Lindsey teased
"Yeah, you should try it sometime." Penny said to her sister, who stuck her tongue out at Penny.
Leonard turned away so they couldn't seem him smiling and also so he wouldn't laugh at them. Penny and Lindsey were acting like sisters who were about 12, it was adorable but it was also so funny, and if that wasn't bad enough their mother's next words were pure torture for Leonard, who was barely keeping his composure.
"You two stop now, I still can take you both over my knee." Meryl scolded, though half heartedly.
It was too much for Leonard who now chuckled, resulting is a very light poke to his ribs by Penny, which tickled more than hurt and now made him chuckle more. "It's not funny and you are suppose to support me unconditionally from now on, it is in our vows or will be if it isn't in them now." Penny teased him, a barely controlled smile trying to form on her face.
"Leonard you can still run, they have flights out of Omaha back to California every day." Lindsey now offered.
Penny glared at her sister, then put her arms around Leonard's neck. "No girl will touch him, I've branded him." she teased, then kissed him.
Meryl put an end to the sister-to-sister conflict by putting plates in front of Leonard and Penny, "You two eat now so you can get going."
"What about me?" Lindsey whined when no plate was put in front of her.
"They are visiting, you practically live here, so you know where the food is." Meryl told her oldest.
"Fine." Lindsey got up to get some food while Meryl sat down with her own plate.
"Mom is dad eating with us?" Penny asked
"He took a couple sandwiches and a thermos, so he could ride up to the fence line and check to make sure all the fences stayed up this winter. You two helping him has given him more time to do things he hasn't had time for before, he really appreciates it." Meryl told her daughter while looking at Leonard too to make sure he understood his help was appreciated as much as Penny's.
Leonard smiled and nodded, a little embarrassed at the praise, he liked helping Wyatt, especially when Penny was with him. Honestly he liked doing almost anything as long as Penny was with him, even shopping, but he would never tell her that. So Leonard just nodded to Penny's mother, while Penny wrapped her arms around his neck to kiss his cheek then whisper in his ear, "Dad was right, you are definitely a keeper."
They all ate quietly for a couple of minutes before Leonard thought to ask the question he had from earlier, "What are you going to buy and why did your mother say 'so you two can get going?"
Penny smiled at him, "I need a dress for tonight's girls night and we didn't bring one for me when we came. You are coming to go to the comic book store with Howard and Raj, while Bernadette goes shopping with me and Lindsey."
"Oh, thank you." Leonard didn't know what to say, then he thought for a moment, "Do I need to get some new clothes for tonight, too?"
Penny and Lindsey both giggled, making Leonard look confused, until Penny spoke, "Sweetie all you need is a pair of jeans and a pullover t-shirt for where you are going." Penny thought for a minute. "Really Honey, don't wear anything but jeans and a pull over shirt, anything else would make you look out of place."
Leonard then watched as Lindsey and Meryl both nodded to Penny's suggestion, a feeling of trepidation forming in him, "Okay."

Penny, Bernadette and Lindsey arrived at the dress shop after dropping Leonard with the guys at the hotel, Amy not with them because she was spending the afternoon with Sheldon visiting every train hobby shop in Omaha as a reward for him being so good. Penny immediately found a very conservative cocktail dress that she knew she could wear again when she went to another university donor party. So it was only fifteen minutes after they arrived, she was modeling it for Bernadette and her sister.
"That is very…..boring." Lindsey said after Penny wore the dress out to show the girls.
Bernadette quickly adding, "That looks good on you." her being honest, Penny did look good in the dress.
"I think so too." Penny responded, sticking her tongue out at her sister.
"Yeah, well if you want to look like an old married woman when you go back to California, that dress is perfect." Lindsey added.
Penny now looked at her sister with concern, "Why wouldn't I want to look like a married woman when I get back to California, I will be a married woman."
"Just saying you never know what is going to come along, so you need to be prepared." Lindsey said as sort of a clarification.
Penny shook her head, "Lin, the only thing I'm going to look to come along is my first child with Leonard." Penny stopped talking for a second as a slight pain seemed to occupy her heart for her lost daughter.
"Penny are you okay." Bernadette asked
Penny looked at her friend and then smiled. "I'm okay, I really don't ever want to forget her, but I'm okay."
Lindsey wisely didn't say anything else and Penny went back in to change, now happy she found her dress so fast because her sister was becoming a pain in the ass. So after changing back into her clothes, she went and paid for the dress, coming out of the store just a few minutes later. It was then she noticed a woman's saloon, across the street, that seemed to offer any type of grooming a woman could desire. It immediately gave Penny an idea, "Guys, since this didn't take long, how about we go over there and pamper ourselves."
"That sounds great, I'm in." Bernadette quickly responded.
Lindsey didn't say a thing, and as soon as Penny looked at her she knew why. "Lin, I got you, you can get me next time." Penny knew her sister didn't have much money, her husband only caring if he made enough money to pay their rent at the trailer park and go out with the guys each weekend.
Lindsey nodded, a silent 'Thank You' passing between sisters.
So it wasn't just a few minutes later that Lindsey was having her hair and roots being colored to the light blonde color she liked, while Bernadette got a facial while having her nails done. Penny however looked at all the services they offered and immediately got an idea, something that would act like a doctors note to let Leonard know she was willing and most importantly ready to resume their sex life. Penny smiled to herself then went back to the receptionist to see if they had time to do what she wanted.
"Do you have any appointments for waxing and hair removal?" Penny asked with her fingers crossed.
The receptionist nodded, "We could handle you now if you want."
Penny had to keep herself from squealing, she just knew Leonard would be surprised on their honeymoon and would know exactly what she wanted. "Yes, that would be great."
It was ten minutes later Penny was lead to a room wearing only a robe, with a middle aged woman and full of supplies to remove body hair. "Well what can I do for you." the woman said with a smile, making Penny feel immediately at ease.
"I'm getting married on Saturday and want to surprise my husband on our honeymoon, so remove all hair except my eyebrows and head." Penny instructed.
It was two hours later when all the girls got back together, Lindsey hair looking all one color blonde and styled, while Bernadette also had her hair styled, her face treated to a facial and her nails looked awesome. So they were both surprised when Penny seemed to have nothing done at all, her hair, face and nails looking the same as she came in. "Penny where did you go, did you get a massage or a mud bath?" Bernadette asked.
Penny just shook her head, "I got something special for Leonard." the only thing she said, making Bernadette look at Lindsey a little confused and Lindsey just shrugging in return.
Penny then looked at Lindsey's hair and frowned, immediately looking at a mirror and only frowning more. She had been so comfortable around Leonard, he always seemed to think she was beautiful and adored her, that she basically only kept herself clean for him, she didn't put on makeup unless she went out, and there were even a couple times she didn't shave her legs for over a week. But now she realized the worst of it, looking at herself in the mirror, she finally noticed she looked like a skunk with a huge light brown strip down her head separating both sides of her supposedly blonde hair. It amazed her how she hadn't really noticed it before and with a small smile now replacing her frown, she realized that Leonard making her feel loved and special the way she was, was the reason she had been so careless with her appearance.
Penny turned to look at her friend and sister. "I just need this hair to be one color, okay. I know you guys can suffer through another hour or two of pampering."
Lindsey had seen a hunk of a guy earlier and after asking about him found out he was their masseur, so her choice was easy. "I could use a massage."
Bernadette quickly looked at the list of services and noticed they did waxing, immediately smiling at the thought of surprising Howard, then almost immediately afterward understanding what Penny meant about doing something for Leonard, a blush coming over her face. "I think I can find something to keep me busy."
"Good, then it is settled." Penny quickly looked around the saloon, then saw the receptionist, "Miss!"
Penny, Lindsey and Bernadette were looking good when it came time to leave the saloon, their hair nails and bodies all pampered that day, making the girls feel good as they strutted to the cashier to pay, Penny paying for her and Lindsey, while Bernadette paid for herself. They knew they looked good and that was confirmed when a car of guys stopped along side the sidewalk they were on while they went back out to the car, trying to flirt with them. Lindsey encouraging the guys by giving them a little wave, Bernadette just smiling, while Penny just frowned, her mind fixed on what Leonard would say when he saw her in the next hour.

It was under an hour later that Leonard met Penny in front of the hotel as her and Lindsey dropped Bernadette off and picked him up. "Wow" the only thing he said as he sat in the backseat of the car.
It was actually the remark Penny was looking for, after seeing herself this afternoon she had wanted to look pretty for him for a change, even though she knew he loved her for herself and her being a slob, like before, made no difference to him or his love for her. She was now feeling happy and flirty with her soon to be husband so the teasing began. "What is wrong sweetie something surprise you?" she said in her sexiest voice.
Lindsey looked over at her sister, deciding to have some fun at her expense. "Penny he was just making a comment about how good I look."
Penny gave her sister a look, she was in no mood for her sister to ruin her flirting with Leonard. "Well then I guess I better give him a closer look then." Penny quickly got out of the passenger seat and moved into the back seat with Leonard, practically attacking her stunned fiancé as she crawled into his lap and started making out with him.
Lindsey pulled the car out of the hotel parking lot and said loud enough for her sister to hear 'Wimp'.
After Lindsey's interrupting her this morning and now making fun of her right now, Penny had it, her sister calling her a 'Wimp' twice that day, something she would always called her when they were young, just got her angry. So she quickly looked around, taking notice that the rear window and back side windows were tinted on the rental car, and in one fluid motion pulled her shirt off over her head and threw it on the seat, her bra following it almost immediately. Leonard's stunned expression did nothing to phase Penny as she now pushed her hands under Leonard's T-shirts and pulled them off him, happy the car was warm inside and they had already discarded their coats when they got in, so they didn't delay her little plan. Penny now having them both stripped to the waist, pressed herself against Leonard, her mouth crushing against his, while she gave him the noisiest kisses she could perform.
Lindsey smirked at the noise and looked in the rear view mirror with a superior smile, only for her face to turn to shock as she saw only bare torsos in the back seat. She immediately pulled the car over and put it in park, "What the hell Penny!"
When Lindsey's question didn't get answered, the sound again of kissing being her only response, Lindsey said louder, "Damn it Penny, cut it out!"
This made Penny finally stop kissing a stunned and confused Leonard. "What now Lindsey." she said trying to sound put out from Lindsey's interruption.
"What the hell are you doing? Your not intending to do it in the back seat while I drive you home, are you?" Lindsey as incredulously
"Maybe, we never did it in a moving car before, so if my honey is up to it, I'm game." Penny answered smugly, giving her still confused fiancé a wink.
"I am not driving you two back home while you do it in the back seat." Lindsey quickly answered.
"Why not! You have been buzz kill all day." Penny told Lindsey then continued, "Stop doing your boyfriend Penny or I'll tell mom you can't come down because you need to have sex with Leonard.", "Penny that dress makes you look like an old married lady.", "Penny he is talking about me, not you." Penny mocked her sister.
Leonard actually smiled a little, this was starting to get funny, though he was still a little concerned that Penny was serious about doing it in the back seat. The fear of having sex with her and the thought of Lindsey being in the car, making him sure he would not be able to perform very well or at all, even though Penny was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. So it was with a whisper he said, "Penny." and shook his head, Penny smiling and nodding, letting him know she was teasing.
"Okay, I would hate to upset my sisters sensibilities…Wimp." Penny then reached for the discarded shirts for her and Leonard. Lindsey just grunted and pulled the car back out onto the road, towards their parent's farm.

Wyatt, Leonard and her brother, Steven, left early, they were going to have a steak dinner before going to the bar for Leonard's bachelor party, the bar they were going to not really serving food. The girls however were having food at Penny's bachelorette party, so they would be leaving later and that also gave them all the more time to get ready. So Penny was still in her clothes from the afternoon when she stood at the door with Leonard before he left with the men of her immediate family. They gave each other a long kiss before they found themselves just standing there staring at each other.
"You have fun Sweetie." Penny finally told him.
Leonard half heartedly nodded, "You have fun too."
Still they didn't move, "Watch out for some of my family, they are a little crazy and not relatively harmless crazy like Sheldon, we are talking crazy, crazy." Penny now told him.
Wyatt had told Leonard the same thing, so he tried to not let his nervousness show to Penny when she told him the same thing, "I'll be careful."
"I love you." Penny said quietly
"I love you, too." Leonard responded as they both just stared at each other some more. They might have never moved, but the car horn blaring suddenly broke the bubble they were in, making Leonard look out at the car, then at Penny, "I better go before they get mad."
Penny nodded, repeating, "Have fun Sweetie." She then gave him another quick kiss and kept touching him until he finally went out the door, getting halfway to the car before waving back at her, then waving again as the car drove off.
It wasn't until Penny couldn't see the car anymore, that she softly sighed, and then went to get ready herself. The next hour seemed a little weird to Penny, Leonard had been with her so much the last couple months that being alone without him felt strange and made her lonely. She loved having him around, he was fun and interesting, and he always made her feel good, he was so much a part of her life that she couldn't imagine going on with her life without him, which made her need to marry him even more important.
Penny was insecure about some things, one of those things had always been Leonard, she had always worried about loosing him even before they had their first relationship, after his North Pole expedition. That insecurity had made her not going out with him again after their first formal date, she felt he would grow bored of her, so it was her way of shielding herself from the pain of losing him, the pain she knew she would feel if she got romantically involved with him. That insecurity was not as strongly felt by her anymore, the last several months had shown her how much Leonard did love her, his forgiving her for what happened with Sheldon, something she honestly didn't know if she could do if the roles were reversed. But Leonard really loved her and accepted she loved him, which she did, she was madly in love with him, so she wanted to bind them together as tightly as she could and marriage was what she now wanted badly. Penny, for the first time in her life, she was the one that wanted this marriage the most in their relationship, she wanted Leonard as he husband and she wanted to be his wife.
"Penny Hofstadter", she said softly as she looked in the mirror, it made her smile, "Dr and Mrs. Hofstadter", she then softly said, her smile even bigger, as she thought of her new life with Leonard, as his wife, moving into their new apartment, her dream apartment, and starting their lives together. Penny smiled at the young woman looking back at her, things were not happening in the order she first thought they would when she came to California, but her dreams when she left Nebraska were actually coming true, she did have a good life. She had thought of being an actress, having money and a nice home and then a love life with a wonderful man, but everything was now backwards, she found the wonderful man first, the wonderful new apartment now in their lives and her career as an actress was at least started. It actually worked out better than she thought, finding the man first allowed her to share everything else with the man she loved, and that thought made Penny realize how lucky she really was, that all her 18-year old dreams were coming true.
It was with those thoughts still in her mind, when Penny finally realized she was ready, she had finished her makeup and now only had to put on her dress. She practically skipped out of the bathroom to put her new dress on, then twirled around in from of the bedroom mirror, agreeing in her mind with Bernadette, she looked good in that dress. It was this happy smiling Penny that came down the stairs to meet her mother and sister so they could leave for the party, her mother smiling at her beautiful daughter and her sister giving her look that told Penny she was looking good even for a person who looked like an old married woman. Penny was back, she felt good and she was happy, she was on top of the world and all she could think of was her future with Leonard. "Let's go have some fun." she told her mother with a smile and got a smile back from Meryl as they both put on their coats.

The steak was good and large, Leonard never having put so much meat into his body at one sitting, since the special power outage meal they had with Howard after his mother died. Now at the bar, where they were having the Bachelor party, he was just trying to burp, while he nursed the beer in front of him, worried that the carbonation of the beer would only make his bloated belly feel worse. So he had been just sitting with Wyatt, being as friendly as possible to all the people Wyatt was introducing him to, that comprised the brothers, uncles, cousins and friends of Penny's family.
It had been almost an hour since Leonard arrived to the bar with Wyatt, that suddenly a great deal of yelling and cat-calling erupted from mostly the younger men in the back room they were in, as Penny's brother entered with three young woman, all dressed very provocative. It only took a moment for him to realize what was happening, when one of the young men at his table mumbled, 'Its about time the strippers got here', making Leonard look at them again realizing that was exactly what they looked like. This also made Leonard extremely uncomfortable, Penny was plenty woman for him and just looking at her, without her clothes on, still made him gasp at her beauty, so he did not want to have anything to do with these strippers. Things were in a good place between him and Penny, she was much better, even normal again, so Leonard was just happy getting on with his life with her, there was still a lot of adventures for the both of them to experience and he only wanted to experience them with her.
Leonard turned to Wyatt, not sure what to say, "Umm".
Wyatt looked at his future son-in-law, at first confused, then with look of respect for the young man, it was obvious he didn't want to have anything to do with the strippers, he was not even happy they were there. Leonard was just confirming to Wyatt that his first impressions of him, years before, and his feelings about him recently were right, he loved his daughter and would always put her first, he was perfect for her. So Wyatt gave Leonard a small smile, "I understand."
So it was a stern Wyatt that stared at his son as he came to get Leonard to take him to the cleared out spot in the middle of the room for the strippers to have fun with him. "Steven, you leave Leonard alone, he is fine where he is sitting." Wyatt told his son as soon as he reached the table.
"Aw come on, you can't let my sister control your life already, you aren't even married yet." Steven told Leonard. However as soon as he saw the glare his father gave him after that statement Steven backed off a little and decided not to mention Penny again. "We are just going to have a little fun, who doesn't want to be fondled by three pretty girls." he now whined, the drinking he had been doing clouding his judgment that this was a no win situation with his father.
Howard, who was sitting across from Leonard, now spoke up, "If you need someone for the girls to fondle, take Raj."
"Hey why me." Raj, though a little drunk, still protested.
Howard turned to his friend, "Three pretty girls are going to strip in front of you, rub on you and probably try to get you off to embarrass you. You really want to miss that?"
Raj thought for a second, then smiled. "Okay, I'm Leonard tonight."
Steven looked at Howard, Raj and then Wyatt, who nodded to him to take the offer. So Steven just shrugged, "Okay, lets go."
There were a few of the men who looked at Raj with surprise and confusion when he got in the chair located in the middle of the room but they soon didn't concern themselves that the fact that the man sitting in the chair was not the groom as the girls started to rub all over him. So by the time the girls started to lose some of their clothes and the first bare breast was exposed, none of the men could care less who the man was in the chair, their attention now locked on the girls. Especially one stripper, named Sparkle, her real name meaning nothing to them, but would have pissed off Penny, they were too interested how she was rubbing her bare breasts in the mans face as he licked each nipple, something she didn't seem to mind at all.
Sparkle, was actually getting a kick out the man's enthusiasm while he licked her breasts, it was something she would never do at such a party, but this man was special, he was Penny's fiancé and because she disliked Penny so much she would let this man do anything he wanted to her. She actually hated Penny, her leaving Nebraska because she wanted better and then her making it, everyone talking about her show and how she was so successful. No, ever since her and Penny competed for head cheerleader, Valerie despised Penny and she would do anything to ruin her life, like she was now, rubbing all over her fiancé. It was part of her plan to ruin Penny's wedding and life, and having sex with Penny's future husband was the best way to ruin everything for Penny in Valerie Mossbacher's mind.
There was something else going on while the girls stripped, Wyatt always had one big weakness and that was his brother, the brother that was 18 months older than him and gave him hell all his life. His brother, when they were teenagers, had even tried to break Meryl and him up when they started dating, his brother wanting her partly for himself and partly to just take her away from Wyatt in spite. So Wyatt's mind went from solely thinking of protecting Leonard to his dislike of his brother when the man sat down next to him punching him in the arm, much harder then necessary, to greet him. "Hey Wyatt, how is that pretty wife of your's doing."
What happened in the next half hour, was more beers were consumed and Wyatt and his brother argued more, until all thoughts of Leonard were gone from Wyatt's mind. That distraction was immediately picked up by three of Penny's cousins, Tommy and Jimmy who were the sons of her mothers cousin and Bubba, who was a very distance cousin, his lineage not really known to Penny. They watched the girls stripping in the center of the room while watching as the groom seemed to sit alone now, forgotten by his soon to be father-in-law. Normally the girls would keep the three young men's attention, but they had heard way too much about their cousin Penny's extremely smart boyfriend, the last few months, and people continuously calling them dumb as dirt made them hate smart people. Therefore, Penny's doctor boyfriend had immediately gone to the top of their 'shit list' and they decided they would show everyone around, who was so smart.
Wyatt and his brother had gone off to the corner to argue, so Jimmy, Timmy and Bubba moved in to sit with Leonard, actually Bubba driving Howard away from the group as they forced their way around Leonard. "Hey, Leonard, remember us." Jimmy greeted Leonard, "We are some of Penny's favorite cousins that you met last summer. Remember I'm Jimmy, that's my brother Tommy and the big guy is Penny's cousin Bubba." Jimmy introduced them all.
Leonard somehow felt something was up but these guys he had seen before and were being nice, so he just smiled and shook all their hands. "Yeah, I remember."
"Well good to see you again, Leonard. We are all glad Penny decided to marry someone like you, aren't we guys." Tommy and Bubba both nodding to Jimmy's prompt.
It was then the waitress put the twenty shots in front of all of them that Jimmy had ordered, making Leonard look at the shots with wide eyes, while the cousins all smiled at each other. Jimmy, picking one shot glass up almost immediately before Leonard could ask about them, "To Penny, one of the most amazing women in the world, a great cousin and dear friend." Tommy and Bubba picked up a shot to Jimmy's toast, followed cautiously by Leonard, before all four of them downed the whiskey in a toast to Penny.

Penny's party was much more subdued, her spending much of her time introducing Bernadette and Amy to her relatives and then all of them talking to her aunts and cousins about California and their lives there. Penny was really happy some of her relatives were impressed that Amy and Bernadette where Phd's, and even Penny was surprised that some of her relatives were closet feminists, complimenting her friends on following their dreams. Penny also got her share of compliments, no one really understanding that she was off the show they had been watching, still gushing how she was the only one from the community to make it as a star that anyone could remember. It made Penny feel a little sad, but the happy thought of marrying Leonard in a couple of days, didn't let that sadness get to her, Leonard being her husband was better than any acting job she could ever have.
Lindsey however thought that she was at the most boring bachelorette party she had ever went to, no men, not even strippers to flirt with, made for a dull party as far as she was concerned. Penny making the rounds to talk to all her relatives and socialize was also like watching a turtle walk across a floor, things just seemed to slow down and her mind seemed just to drift. Even hanging with a few of her cousins, that also were bitching how they were bored, offered no relief as she sipped on her New England Ice Tea, hoping the alcohol would soon take her away.
Penny's party broke up after about two hours, which was fine for her, she had just wanted to catch up with family and friends, not get drunk and wild around stripping men, like her sister wanted. Most of the people there saying they had a good time, a night away from home with the girls a nice diversion for most of them, it was just Lindsey and a couple cousins that were put out by it all. But now that people were starting to go home, Penny began wishing it would be over quickly too, like her sister, her thinking about Leonard and now just wanting to be with him again. So as the last of the guests left Penny turned to Amy and Bernadette, "I'm going to go get Leonard."
Bernadette, remembering Howard's bachelor party, quickly responded, "Do you really think that is a good idea. Drunk men can really do stupid things and make fools of themselves."
Penny smiled, "Leonard was so nervous about going, I think he will actually be relieved if I come to get him." she responded.
"Can you drop me back at the hotel before you go." Amy asked, getting an 'Okay' from Penny.
"I want to come too." Lindsey quickly told her sister, also getting an 'Okay' from her. Lindsey wanted to see Raj again, the thought that maybe her night would not be so bad if he had a little too much to drink that night. So it was only a moment later that the four young woman got into one of the rental cars to get their men.

Penny's cousins, Tommy and Jimmy, each one with one of Leonard's arms around his neck, helped Leonard to the front door, while Bubba held it open into the cold night air. Leonard was very drunk, so he barely recognized that they had gone outside, and as he asked where they were going, Penny's cousins assured him they were just taking him out to help sober him up. This seemed to satisfy Leonard, while at the same time Tommy and Jimmy looked at each other with evil grins, knowing that Leonard was way too drunk to realize what was happening. They were going to have fun with him, and give him a night he would never forget, well to be honest he might not remember, but would quickly realize after he woke up the next morning. So they headed straight for Bubba's car, excitement filling them just thinking what they were going to do to their cousins boyfriend and not wanting to waste another minute before the fun began.
"What'ca do'in" suddenly stopped the three cousins in their tracks to the car as Penny's singsong voice broke the quiet of the night.
Jimmy being the oldest brother, was also the spokesman of the group, so after the initial shock of seeing his cousin, he attempted to act like nothing was happening. "Umm, your boyfriend got a little drunk so we were just taking your boyfriend out for fresh air." he told her with a shaky voice, he never expected to be caught by Penny.
Penny's voice now became cold and hard, "You are, are you…..and that is my fiancé, not just my boyfriend."
"Fiancé….boyfriend, what difference does it make." Jimmy now responded, his confidence now growing a little while as he talked to Penny.
Tommy however had been watching the exchange and had never seen Penny so mad, "Lets go Jimmy." he warned his brother.
Jimmy didn't like the idea of just running from Penny, after all he was a man and she was only a girl. "Why do we have to leave, she didn't catch us doing anything wrong and what is she going to do?"
Bubba was the one who answered for both him and Tommy as Penny took a quick step towards Jimmy. "Oh fuck."
Jimmy was suddenly lying on the ground screaming, Penny's slapping him so hard it knocking off his feet, while Penny now grabbed a drunk Leonard in her arms, holding her Sweetie close to her, the urge to protect him dominating her thoughts. "God it hurts so much, fuck, that crazy bitch slapped me." Jimmy screamed, while Penny ignored him and handed Leonard off to Bernadette and Lindsey who were staring with wide eyes, Lindsey with a little smile on her face.
"You didn't get it when I told you to leave Leonard alone last summer." Penny said with venom in her voice.
Tommy blurted out to his brother, "She did tell you that Jimmy." just before he found himself on the ground next to his brother, Penny having slapped him too.
"I told that to you too, it seems you both have trouble remembering." Penny now said sternly to Tommy.
Penny then turned and looked at Bubba, who quickly moved around the car, putting it between him and her. "This is not over by a long-shot." Penny said with a sneer.
Jimmy's face was so red, everyone thought it would explode as he screamed. "Fuck you Penny, you can't go around and just hit people."
Penny just turned back to Jimmy, pure fire seeming to come from her eyes, Tommy thought, so he just whispered, "Jimmy please." Penny then surprised everyone when she turned and started to walk back to Leonard, but she wasn't done, "Wait till your mother finds out what you tried to do this evening." he said in a calm voice.
Jimmy didn't respond, all his confidence now starting to fade, he just looked at his brother, then at Penny, "You wouldn't dare tell her."
"Oh I'm not going to tell her, but my mother will." Penny calmly said.
"Shit Jimmy, Penny's mother goes to church with mom, shit." Tommy whined.
Bubba chuckled a little, knowing that Jimmy and Tommy would probably be kicked out of their house for a while and would be begging to stay with him. However that chuckle died quickly when Penny started talking again, "My mother knows your mother too, Bubba." Those few words made Bubba wonder if any of them would have homes by the next week.
The three girls, with Penny now holding Leonard, watched the car speed out of the parking lot, before Penny turned back to sister and friend. "I need to get Leonard back to the farm."
Lindsey smiled, she didn't like her cousins and just now Penny reminded her of her sister before she left for California. "We got your back Sis."
"Can we get Howard before we leave?" Bernadette asked, now worried about her man too.
"I'll get him." Lindsey quickly responded, knowing Penny didn't want to go back inside and her wanting to see Raj again, she was already putting together plans in her mind for him that didn't include going home right now. Bernadette just nodded, now occupied helping Penny hold up a drunk Leonard who seemed to just want to go to sleep.
