Kaitlyn POV
As I drive back home, the tears continually run down my cheeks. They drip down past my face and down to my shirt, which has a huge wet stain on it, but my mind isn't even there right now. All I can think about is Dean and that fight. Everything happened in slow motion. One minute Cody is asking me to check the ring he got for his girlfriend, the next minute Dean is on top of him, beating the life out of him. Dustin came running out of the bar to try to break them up only to be punched in the jaw. All that time, I just screamed. I screamed at Dean, asking him, begging him to stop, but he only heard me after I said please, and by that time Cody was beaten to a bloody pulp.
I can't believe him! I can't believe he would do something so thoughtless and stupid! How could Dean think that Cody was going to propose to me?! Even if Cody were to try to propose to me, Dean couldn't trust me enough to let me handle it? There's no way I would have accepted a proposal from Cody so why would Dean fly off the handle like that?
I told him! I've told him several times that he never had to worry about me straying from him, and he just doesn't get it! What the hell else can I do to prove how much I love him if he refuses to trust me? Another thing, why is he being so possessive? Why does he think every guy out there is trying to take me from him? Why does he think I would go with any of those guys? Ugh, he's so frustrating and infuriating, and now I'm unemployed because of him!
I finally pull up in front of AJ's and my apartment and park behind her car. I just want to get inside and talk to her, maybe even cry a little or a lot. When I get inside, the first thing I hear is heaving, like someone is throwing up.
"AJ," I call out.
"We're in the bathroom, Kaitlyn." That sounds like Punk. What's he doing here? I know that he and AJ made up, but I didn't know that he was going to be visiting today. I head over to the bathroom on the first floor. The door is open so I look in to find AJ bent over the toilet while Punk is holding her hair back.
"It's late mid-afternoon, AJ," I point out. "Why are you getting morning sickness?"
"My body doesn't care what time," she stops responding as she begins heaving again and throws up into the toilet.
"She's been feeling nauseated for past couple of hours," Punk informs me, without looking at me, still holding AJ's hair back as she continues to throw up. "She wanted to go shopping for the nursery, but I convinced her to stay put until the nausea passed." I remain silent and watch as AJ finally stops throwing up and sits back on her calves to catch her breath. "What happened to you," Punk asks me out of nowhere. I look up at him, and our eyes meet. I guess when he looked at me he saw that I had been crying.
"I'd rather talk to AJ about it in private if you don't mind." He looks back down to AJ with concern on his face.
"Don't worry, Punk," she tells him. "Can you go warm up the car? I'll be out in a few." Punk nods and walks out of the bathroom. I enter the bathroom and sit on the edge of the bathtub as I hear the front door close. "What happened," AJ asks me while getting to her feet and stepping in front of the sink. "Why does it look like you were crying?"
"Because I was," I answer honestly. She turns her head to me with a look on her face as she grabs her toothbrush and the toothpaste.
"What happened?!"
"Dean came to visit me as I was getting off of work, and he saw Cody take out the ring that was meant for his girlfriend. Dean got the wrong idea, and he went ballistic and attacked Cody."
"He did what?! What the hell?!"
"That's what I said! Then he punched Dustin when he tried to get him off Cody, and by the time it was over Dustin fired me."
"You got fired?! Oh my God, Kaitlyn!"
"I don't know what I'm going to do! I needed that job!"
"Okay well, the job is an easy fix. You'll just have to find another one. The bigger issue you and Dean. What are you going to do about that?" I look at my feet and take a minute to think about it while AJ begins to brush her teeth. What am I going to do about Dean?
"I don't know." I pause and run my fingers through my hair before I resume speaking, "I thought he trusted me, but apparently he doesn't. What happens when I get another job and end up working with a guy? Is he going to jump to conclusions then too?"
"While I can see where you'd think that," AJ says as she continues to brush, "You need to understand that situation is a little different." She stops brushing and rinses her mouth out with water before taking out the mouthwash. "Cody is your ex, so maybe that was the biggest factor that played into this."
"But this isn't the first time that he's fought over me!"
"Yes, but the first time was with Sheamus, who made his intentions for you clear." Why is she defending him?!
"Whose side are you on?!"
"Yours! I'm not saying that Dean wasn't wrong. He was! He was absolutely wrong, but it's not like he's picking fights to pick fights. It's not like he's getting mad at some random guy on the street who looked at you funny." I guess she has a point there, and it's not like Dean picks fights all the time. I mean, I know he noticed how the male customers were looking at me yesterday at work, and he didn't cause a scene then. Still, that's not really the point.
"I mean I get that. I don't think it's that he's jealous, I just keep thinking that he doesn't trust me."
"It does seem that way," AJ admits. "You guys should talk, though. Did he apologize, at least?" She gargles the mouthwash and swishes it around.
"Yeah, he did. A couple of times, actually. I was just so mad that I didn't accept his apology and told him to leave me alone." AJ still has the mouthwash in her mouth, so she doesn't respond immediately. This gives me a little time to think. I actually told Dean to leave me alone. What if he doesn't come find me? What if he decides to leave me alone forever and cuts himself out of my life? Panic sets in as AJ spits out the mouthwash and follows it up by rinsing her mouth with water. She dries her mouth with a towel before replying.
"Well, knowing Dean, he probably won't leave you alone for long. When he does come by, just hear him out, and make sure he actually listens to you. I'm sure you two can-" Knock, knock, knock. AJ is interrupted by a knocking at the door. "There see! He's here already."
"No, Dean has keys." I sniff the air to find the visitor's scent and I recognize it automatically. "That's Sheamus." AJ gives me a confused look before she heads to the front door with me right behind her.
"Should I let him in?" That's a good question. On one hand, Dean probably wouldn't like it if I were to speak with Sheamus. On the other hand, I'm curious as to why Sheamus is here.
"I guess it's okay." She opens the door to reveal Sheamus who is holding what smells like a take-out order of Chinese food.
"Afternoon, AJ," he greets AJ first with a large smile. "Afternoon, Katie." I wave at him and give him a slight nod.
"Good afternoon, Sheamus." AJ's greeting is friendly, but she doesn't let him in just yet. "What are you doing here?"
"I kinda saw what happened with Kaitlyn and Dean earlier." He saw that?! Ugh this is embarrassing! "I saw you drive off, and you looked upset, so I thought that maybe you could use some cheering up?" He lifts up his hand to indicate that the Chinese food is specifically for cheering me up. I would have preferred Greek food, but I do appreciate the sentiment.
AJ looks back at me, as though asking if it's alright to let Sheamus in the house. I give her a nod, and she opens up the door a little more to let him in. "I'm going to get going, Katie," AJ tells me. "Punk and I need to get to the baby stores before they close. We'll be back in a few."
"Alright. Be careful and call me if you need me." She then leaves the house, closing the door behind her and leaving me alone with Sheamus. I hope, I'm not making a mistake.
About an hour later, Sheamus and I are sitting in the living room, in the middle of eating the Chinese food and watching Love It or List It on HGTV.
"You think they'll leave the house," Sheamus asks me, referring to the couple on the show.
"Well, Hilary is doing a lot for their house's structure, but the house David showed them has everything they need. I'd list the house, to be honest." It's kind of hard to believe, but spending this time with Sheamus has made me feel a little bit better. I mean, it's taking my mind off of things which is really helping, but something keeps nagging at me. Why is Sheamus really here? Is he genuinely trying to be nice, or does he have some alternative motive? I need to find out. "Sheamus why are you here?"
Sheamus takes a drink of his soda and puts it back down on the table before answering me. "I said it before. I saw what happened, and I wanted to make you feel better." I don't believe him.
"No, Sheamus, why are you really here?" He glares at me. He doesn't look mad, but he does look surprised.
"You're starting to sound like Dean, Katie. Trust me, you don't want to be like him. Not everyone is out to get you." What's that supposed to mean?
"Sheamus, I don't want Dean to think that there's something going on between us, so if your intentions aren't pure then, I don't know if we should be hanging out at all."
"So what Dean decides who you get to hang out with?" Where'd that come from?!
"That's not what I'm saying." I turn off the TV and address Sheamus without any distractions. I want to make sure that what I'm about to tell him isn't taken lightly. "Sheamus, you made it clear to me and Dean that you like me." Sheamus' smile disappears. Good. He needs to take this seriously. "I'm not leaving Dean."
"Lass, he beat up your boss. You're not the least bit worried that he's no good for you?"
"Excuse me?"
"Do you really what to be with someone who jumps to conclusions so quickly?"
"I'm not going to break up with him just because he made a mistake."
"You sound like a battered woman." Okay, now I'm mad.
"Get the fuck out," I demand while standing to my feet to tower over him. He looks up at me flabbergasted.
"Wait, what?"
"I didn't stutter. Get. The. Fuck. Out!"
"Katie, I didn't mean to insult you, but you have to admit that you're in a dangerous situation."
"I don't want to hear your crap! I said get out!"
"Katie, just listen," he stands up, forcing me to look up at him. "Dean has fought me twice over you and beat up two guys over you. How much longer until he lays hands on you?"
"How dare you even suggest that?! Dean has never laid his hands on me, and he never will!"
"He did it to Bayley!"
"I already know about that!" He looks at me surprised. I guess he expected that Dean would have kept that a secret from me. "He told me about it! He's apologized since then! Bayley forgave him, and he never laid his hands another woman since then!" He doesn't need to know that Dean did attack me when we first met, but that was because he thought I was an enemy when he found out that I was half siren.
"Kaitlyn, he did it once, he'll do it again. People like Dean don't change."
"I don't have to listen to this." I walk away from him and open up the front door. "Get out before I call the cops." Calling the cops isn't much of a threat because Sheamus can easily overpower them, or even erase their memories, but it's the only thing I can think of that will make him take me seriously. I don't want him in my house, I don't want to see him, I don't want to hear his voice, and I don't want his scent infecting my senses any longer.
He sighs and puts his hands in his pockets. He walks through the open door, but before I can close it, he speaks one more time. "I erased Cody's, Dustin's and the crowd's memory of the fight. If you'd like, you can return to work there." I watch him strut out of my house before slamming the door behind him. Fuck him! Fuck him and everything he does and says. I am nota battered woman! I am not in an abusive relationship! Dean has never even lifted his hand at me, and he has always been gentle with me, except in bed. This is only the second argument we've ever had, and he wasn't even the one doing the yelling. Does he have trust issues? Yes. Can he be a bit possessive? Yes, but nobody is perfect. Sheamus doesn't know what the hell he's talking about, and for him to try to insert himself and his opinion in my relationship is downright malicious.
Renee POV
When we had finished our visit with Raquel, Seth took me back to my apartment and told me to pack a bag. He told me to be ready first thing in the morning because the both of us were going to catch a flight to Greece. Then, he went back to the den for guard duty for the night.
In the morning, Seth showed up with a packed bag and two airline tickets going to Athens. We went to the airport, but before we could check in, Sasha and Raquel caught up with us.
"What are you two doing here," Seth asked the both of them.
"We're not about to let you go to the Realm of Sirens by yourselves," Sasha told him.
"We don't need to involve more people than need be, Pack Master Sasha," Seth responded.
"I agree with you, but I'm not about to let a wolf and a siren who has lost her powers go to the Realm of Sirens by themselves. We don't know what's going on in that realm after the fall their monarch. It's dangerous, and you have a good chance of not coming back, especially if you run into Bray Wyatt. Plus, we don't know if Natalya has come back to life yet or not. I'd rather be safe than sorry."
"So then what do you suggest, Sasha," I asked her.
"I'm going with you," Raquel answered for Sasha. "This mission requires stealth before anything else, and with your powers gone, I can provide you with the magic you're going to need to fly under the radar. Not to mention that time is of the essence. I can get you to the locations of the books quicker than if you were to go by yourselves." I looked up at Seth to find a pensive expression written across his face. I knew he didn't want to put anyone else in danger, but Sasha and Raquel made some excellent points. For whatever reason, Seth still seemed unsure about the idea.
"Seth," I grabbed his attention. "They're right, and you know it. We'll need the help, and without full access to my powers I can't protect us if something were to happen." Seth took a deep breath and then nodded in agreement.
"Alright. We need to get you a plane ticket, then," Seth directed at Raquel.
"You're talking to a witch," Raquel replied. "We're not getting to Greece by plane."
Raquel said her goodbyes to Sasha before transporting the three of us to Athens, but we still had to wait for the moon to reach its height before we could enter the Realm of Sirens.
I'm nervous. There's no telling what the realm is like right now. With Natalya and her officers dead, anyone could have taken the throne. What if the new siren queen is just as evil as Natalya? What if she's worse? What if the new queen had a vision about this and is expecting us? I'm shaking in my boots, literally. I've never been so scared to go home.
"Renee, sweetie," Raquel's soft voice bring me back to reality, "are you okay?" I look up at her with a smile.
"Yeah, I'm okay. A bit nervous, but I'm okay." I stand up from sitting on the bed and walk over to the window. When we arrived in Athens, Raquel was able to procure us a hotel that we could use as our base of operations while we waited for nightfall.
"You always seem much calmer when Seth is around," Raquel observes. I mull over her point for a minute. There is something about Seth that makes me feel more relaxed. Maybe because I know that he cares about me and that he wants to protect me and do right by me. I can feel a light blush make its way across my face. "I can see that even mentioning him puts a smile on your face." I blush even harder. "That's how you can tell that what you feel for him is real."
"Well I've had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with Seth since I've known him. We've had a few bumps over a few weeks, but overall he's been great."
"Seth has always been one of my favorites of the Gilford wolf pack. His brothers are awesome too, but Seth seems to be the most compassionate of the three of them." Raquel pauses to lay on the hotel bed and stretch out. Silence fills the room for a couple of minutes until there's a knock at the door. Raquel and I exchange glances before I go over to the door and look out the peephole. I smile and take in a breath of relief. It's Seth, and from the looks of it he's holding some plastic bags. I open up the door for him and he greets me with a kiss before walking into the room.
"You ladies making yourselves comfortable," he asks us as he puts the bags down on the dresser at the front of the room.
"Well it's not every day that you get to spend some time in Greece, even if it isn't under the best of circumstances," Raquel tells him as she gets up from the bed and joins me and Seth at the dresser. "What'd you get us to eat?"
"Nothing fancy. I just went to this little diner that specialized in home style cooking." Seth empties out the bags and place three boxes down on the dresser. "This one's for you, Renee. I forgot the name of the dish, but I know you said that you hadn't had good lamb in a while so it has lamb chops." I smile at him while taking hold of my food. It did smell delicious, and lamb is actually one of my favorite dishes, but I haven't had the opportunity to have some good lamb since I first left the Realm of Sirens on my mission. It's great that I can finally enjoy some lamb now. "Raquel, it was not easy finding you a full meal because you're a vegetarian, so I got you this stuffed red pepper appetizer and a side salad."
"That sounds great! Thank you, Seth." Raquel then takes her food back to the bed and digs in as I begin to eat as well. Seth joins in eating with us as soon as he takes out his food and throws away the bags.
"So what's the plan," Seth breaks the silence, "I mean for when we enter the Realm of Sirens?" I look back at Raquel who just took a bite of her food. After she chews on it for a few seconds and then swallows, she addresses Seth's inquiry.
"Well, we're going to be following Renee's lead for this." I should have suspected that, but I didn't. "Renee, you know the Realm of Sirens better than I do, so you'll have to get us in and out safely." That's a lot of pressure! The last time I tried to lead a sneak attack, of sorts, into the Realm of Sirens we got caught! What if I mess up again, this time? "I can already see that you're nervous, sweetie." I look up at Raquel. "Seth and I have faith in you. Besides, if anything happens, you both of us, and the three of us will look out for one another." I breathe deeply and feel myself relax a little.
"I'd be a little more confident if I still had my powers," I mention honestly. I may be able to provide the two of them with my knowledge, but not having my powers is making me feel completely useless. "Raquel, is there any way that I can get my powers back?" Raquel takes another bite of her food before answering.
"Anyone who is born with certain abilities has a strong connection with them, and it's unnatural for those powers to be taken away."
"The how was Bray Wyatt able to take Renee's powers," Seth asks while taking a drink. "I thought white magic couldn't go against nature."
"It can't, but there are ways around it," Raquel answers. "The spell that Wyatt used is very… special, for lack of a better term. What the spell really does is separates the ability from the body temporarily. Normally, if that happens, the ability just goes straight back to its owner after a few seconds, but if the owner's spirit isn't present in the body, the ability is left without a host, and jumps into the nearest living person."
"So what are you saying," Seth asks. "Wyatt was going to kill Renee regardless?"
"Yeah," Raquel replies honestly, "it was the only way he was going to get the black magic out of her permanently." This is even more proof that I never meant to survive the whole ordeal between the wolves and the sirens. Even if I had lived through Natalya's attack on me, Bray Wyatt would have killed me to obtain my powers. Wow, knowing this kind of sucks. "However," Raquel continues, "now that you're back your spirit is calling out to your abilities. This doesn't mean that you can get them back, exactly, but it does mean that your powers will come back to you every now and then. My guess, is that whenever Wyatt is asleep or unconscious your powers will return to you, which explains why you only got your visions during the night." I guess that makes sense.
"Okay well enough about that!" I shake off the conversation. There are more important things to be discussed than whether or not I can get my powers back. "After we get the Máv̱ri̱ Cheirógrafo, you said that there was another book that we have to get."
"Yeah the Album Libris. I'll need to do a locator spell to find the location of that book." I take another bite of my food. These lamb chops are fantastic!
"Will you need anything," Seth asks her as he stuffs his face with a fork full of his meal.
"We need to go to the Vatican."
"In Rome? Why," I ask curiously.
"A few centuries ago, the Album Libris was in the hands of a witch who went by the name Ivory. Some Catholic missionaries went looking for her with the intention of killing her because, at the time, she was a grand teacher of witchcraft, they didn't succeed in their mission, but they did manage to steal the book from her. It was their hope that witchcraft would die out without the book, but Ivory kept teaching in private," Raquel explains. "Anyway, the book was buried somewhere in the city. So long we're in the vicinity of the book. I can find it."
"What if the book isn't there," Seth asks.
"Even if the book itself isn't there, traces of it will be. I can find it using those traces if need be." Seth nods as he finishes his meal and throws away its container.
"We all need to get some rest before tonight. I'm going to the other room, and I'll wake the two of you up in a couple of hours." Seth then gets up from his chair and walks over to the door with me following him. When he walks out, I stop him and close the door behind us so that Raquel won't listen in on our conversation.
"Seth, you know that you didn't have to get a separate room right?"
"I just wanted to make sure you were comfortable, Renee." Seth doesn't even share my bed with me back in America. Whenever he sleeps over at my apartment he sleeps on the couch.
"But what about you? You can't possibly be comfortable in that room all by yourself." Seth smirks at me before holding onto both my shoulders and pulling me in to hug him.
"You worry too much about me." He lets me go for a moment and leans in to kiss me. "One step at a time remember?" I nod at him while looking down. I feel bad. Seth is doing this to make me feel comfortable. I guess he thinks that I'm not ready to sleep in the same room with him. I mean, I appreciate that he's taking things so slowly and that he's being really patient with me, but I'm worried that he's making way too many sacrifices for me. I mean he does all these things for me, but what do I do for him? "Hey, don't go feeling bad okay?" Although I'm listening to him, I continue to look down. I'm feeling really guilty right now. He places his fingers below my chin and lifts my head up, forcing me to look at him. "Smile for me Renee. I don't like seeing you unhappy." A small smile instantly makes its way across my face. How does he do that? "There you go. I'll see you in a few hours okay?" I nod at him and we share another kiss before he walks down the hall and waits for the elevator to go back to his room.
At twelve midnight, Raquel, Seth and I are standing in the center of the Acropolis, eagerly waiting for the door to the Realm of Sirens to appear.
"This door is taking forever," Raquel exclaims impatiently.
"Have some patience, Raquel. The door will show up," Seth tries to calm her. "Right," he asks me.
"Most definitely. It shouldn't take-" my thought is cut short when the ground beneath us begins to shake violently. We all fall to the floor as the ground continues to quake. Suddenly, a hole opens up in the floor. It starts off small, but as the seconds go by, the hole grows bigger and bigger. Raquel, Seth and I move further away from the hole as it continually grows larger. When the ground stops trembling, the hole also ceases to grow, and in it is spiraling vortex. "This is it," I say aloud.
"Well we better jump in before it closes then," Seth instructs Raquel and me. I hold onto his hand, and Raquel holds onto mine before we all jump into the swirling vortex together. Realm of Sirens here we come.
Seth POV
When I wake up, I find myself on lying face first in a field with Renee and Raquel lying on the floor next to me. We must have been knocked out when we jumped through the vortex to get to the Realm of Sirens.
I get to my feet and look around. The last time I was in the Realm of Sirens, all I saw was the inside of a jail cell, but now, I can see why sirens never leave this place. We're in a field of flowers, lilies to be exact. There are pools of crystal clear water scattered all over the place. The moon's light bounces perfectly off them and illuminates the whole field. This place is beautiful. In the distance, I can see a very large palace surrounded by a tall white gate. Is that the royal palace? If so then that's where the Máv̱ri̱ Cheirógrafo is.
"Seth," a soft mumbling takes my attention away from the palace, and I turn around to find Renee and Raquel regaining consciousness. Raquel is the first to get up. She sits up on her knees and rubs her head while looking around. "Is this the Realm of Sirens," she asks.
"Yeah, it is," Renee answers as she gets up and looks around. She gets to her feet and dusts herself off. "Looks like the door left us right outside the royal courtyard." I look back at the palace. So I was right.
"How do we get in," I ask no one in particular.
"Hello! Witch here," Raquel reminds me. "Renee, have you been in the palace before?"
"Yeah, I've actually been in the throne room, and I've seen the book."
"Perfect. Keep that location in your mind and we'll be there in no time." Raquel takes us both by the hand in preparation to perform the transportation spell, but before she can, I feel someone jump on back. I hear Renee and Raquel scream and try to push the person off of me, but I feel weak, as though my strength is being drained.
"What the hell is going on," I yell out in an attempt to get some information.
"I'll be the one asking questions trespassers!" I lift my head to see the person who just spoke. It's a woman, a siren I suppose, with dark skin, brown eyes and dark brown hair. "Who sent you?!"
"We sent ourselves," I answer her honestly. "We didn't come here looking for trouble."
"You'll forgive me, of course, if I don't believe you," the siren says. Her eyes leave me and look to Raquel, but when she spots Renee, her demeanor changes. "Renee? Is that you?"
Renee looks up at the siren. "Naomi," Renee whispers. These two know one another?
"Gail, Cameron, Kelly, let them go," Naomi orders. I immediately feel my strength coming back to me as soon as the siren who was on my back lets me go. When the siren holding down Renee releases her, Naomi and Renee embrace one another in a powerful hug, leaving me and Raquel speechless and confused. "I thought I'd never see you again," Naomi exclaims.
"I believed the same thing for a while," Renee tells her. "I've missed you."
"I've missed you too, girl." The two of them let go of one another.
"Seth, Raquel," Renee calls out to us. "This is Naomi. We grew up together. The both of us were training to become part of Natalya ranks, but about three years ago Naomi disappeared." Renee turns back to Naomi. "What happened to you? The last I heard, you had a meeting with Natalya, but you never came back home."
"I had to escape." Escape? Why would she have to escape? "When Natalya called me, it was tell me our real history. After that she wanted me to join her ranks, but I couldn't do that knowing the atrocities that we, as race committed, and all Natalya wanted to do was continue the cycle." Oh, so this siren is much like Renee who was lied to all her life.
I begin to relax as I listen to Naomi's story. It seems as though Naomi needed to escape the Realm of Sirens to save her own life. When she told Natalya that she wanted nothing to do with her plans, Natalya attacked her, and tried to kill her, but Naomi was able to escape and ran away into human society. She lived the past three years of her life in South Africa as a doctor. About a month ago, she had a vision that Natalya's reign would come to an end, so she returned to the Realm of Sirens to gain the throne and set sirens on the right path to redeeming themselves. I have to admit that it's a breath of fresh air to learn that there are more sirens out there like Renee, just genuinely good, instead of pure evil.
"So then, you're the queen now," Renee asks Naomi.
"That I am. With Natalya and all her officers gone, it was easier than expected to take the throne. Anyway, enough of that. What are you guys doing here?"
"I had a vision that the end of the world was coming soon. We came here because we need to get the Máv̱ri̱ Cheirógrafo. It will play a major role in the world's destruction if we don't get to it first," Renee asnwers Naomi.
"The Máv̱ri̱ Cheirógrafo is gone," the blonde, brown-eyed siren with light skin informs us.
"Gone, what do you mean it's gone," Raquel yells in shock.
"The book went missing sometime yesterday afternoon," the Asian-looking siren adds. "That's why we've been doing rounds. We thought that you guys were maybe the thieves."
"Great," I shout in frustration. "Knowing our luck, Bray Wyatt probably has it!"
"But how did he know where it was," Renee asks. "Unless… Natalya." At first I'm confused, but then I finally put two and two together. Natalya's alive. Bray revived her and she led him to the book… fuck.
"So now what," I inquire.
"We don't have time to waste," Raquel answers me. "We need to get to the Vatican, now!"
So officially ends chapter 36!
Thank you for all the reviews! They make me smile :)
