CHAPTER TWELVE:

GIVE ME YOUR CLOTHES!

"Hello Fiore and welcome back!" Violet woke up almost half of Fiore with her soprano voice.

"We are back in the undisclosed desert surrounded by fans," Josh motioned to the many fans spinning around cooling them off.

"And we are here to give you an update on the positions of teams." Violet steered the conversation in the right direction, as per usual.

"In first is Sabertooth with 1,550 points."

"In second L.S. with 1,500 points."

"Fairy Tail Team A is third with 1,150 points."

"Wolf Clan is in fourth with 800 points."

" Fairy Tail Team B has 700 and is in fifth place,"

"Lamia Scale is in sixth with 500 points."

"Blue Pegasus managed seventh again with 375 points."

"Mermaid Heel is right behind them with 225 points and of course in eighth."

"Now to Luxxy with actually exciting part of the announcements," Josh said bitterly.

"OH MY GOD!" Violet's voice could be heard by any all in Fiore even though she wasn't on screen at the moment. "Is that Cosplay?"

"Hello Fiore, I am Luxxy," The bubbly blonde twirled into the camera's view, "and this my friend Aya."

"Hi," the new girl had black hair and it fell over one of her red eyes, and her outfit was very similar to a certain moody and roguish Dragon Slayer, "My name is Aya and I am an expert in fandom."

"GIVE ME YOUR CLOTHES!" for the second time in the games Violet chased off someone in hopes of tearing their clothes off.

Luxxy was temporarily stunned, "This round-which is technically three because for some weird reason the first round was the weird sky tower thing-is a chance for our guilds to show their skill in … you guessed it sculpting. We already know some have some sculpted bodies, but what is going to happen when you give them half-an-hour to plan and two hours to build a sculpture to be judged by our favorite judges, Candy and Shoko! I'm sure its going to be a blast! Alright on the count of three … One … two … three!" The teams strolled to tables set up under pavilions in the desert heat.

"That was extremely anti-climatic." Luxxy narrated because Josh didn't feel like it and Violet was still chasing Aya … or walking around in the poor girl's clothes.

As soon as the blonde slumped into a chair to relax and let the camera crew captured random footage, a pavillion burst into flame.

"We can not sculpte with fire!" Someone shrieked.

"That's right, flame brain!" A male declared.

"Ooo! a fight between Natsu and Gray. They are a legendary!," Luxxy looked to the camera. She raised her hand and motioned the cameraman forward, "Can you get any closer? It's really hard to see with all this fire … Look! There's ice and fire and ice …"

Fifteen minutes later … the group of announcers; Violet, Josh, and Luxxy; all team members excluding those in Fairy Tail Team A and Aya, who also happened to have changed into a Mirajane Cosplay meaning the inevitable occurred, watched as the pavillion still hadn't collapsed. "Well, its been a while does anyone want to start working," someone offered. After a chorus of lazy nods the group stood and walked to the building station.

"It seems that since Fairy Tail Team A is taking so long, even though we did offer thirty minutes of planning, we are disqualifying them from this challenge unless they get their burning butts out here and start working in fifteen minutes." Luxxy cheerfully began her commentary with small interruptions from Josh and Violet.

It turned out one of the Mermaid Heel girls could command plants very well even in the desert climate. The all-female team's sculpture was a beautiful mermaid with long hair made of unique purple flowers. Little blobs of light had been summoned to given the plants a softer, more human feel. Somehow the girls had also made the mermaid float in the air and swim around. "It's good," Shoko remarked. "It's beautiful," Candy complimented.

Blue Pegasus, much to Violet's horror, made a sculpture that was actually good. It was made of snow and shaped into the figure of … you couldn't tell very well. It looked like a mix of all the woman that had appeared thus far. "Eh …" Shoko came across only slightly harsher. "Oh, are those my eyes?" CAndy gushed over every aspect of the piece comparing it to herself.

Lamia Scale's rendition was certainly powerful, but also slightly dysfunctional. Lyon had made a ravaging creature before the presentation, but it ran off and destroyed Aya's second Cosplay. They however were able to make a creature from earth using Jura's Earth Magic, and CHelia was able to control it like a puppet, but it required constant control. The Eagle was very beautiful though. "I like the lines, but it is more of a puppet than a sculpture," SHoko stated. Candy simply stared at Lyon and said it was perfect.

Fairy Tail Team B presented a very impressive sculpture made of water which surprisingly held itself together. The water flowed and then suddenly collapsed. In mere seconds the perfect sculpture of Gray had watered much of the desert. Especially Juvia's tears. Rain began to fall on the dry desert.

In the rain Wolf Clan's Wolf Sculpture, turned into a pile of mud. Luckily Shoko and Candy saw the detail put into the work. Shoko glared at everybody, but Candy smiled in sympathy.

Lumen SIderum managed to get some good sketches, but once they began construction the team couldn't agree on much. Somehow though, they made a pile of rocks which was "Admirable," in Shoko's words, and "Cute," in Candy's.

Sabretooth had made a sculpture out of lighting, light and darkness. The impressive feat couldn't stay together for more than three seconds, and every time it dispersed the energy hit someone. Aya's third, fourth and fifth cosplays gone.

Fairy Tail Team A managed to keep the Pavillion alight even during the rabid storm.

"Okay, that went … well," Josh tried to be optimistic for once.

"Are you sick?" Violet began to feel Josh's head, checking for any signs of sickness or that this was a fake Josh!

"No, I just like the rain," Josh grinned, a happy grin not his normally clever, I'm-Josh grin.

"Okay …" somehow Luxxy, Aya, Josh and Violet fit into one shot. "Well, the results will be in soon and then we will begin the second battle phase, even though it is technically the third round." Luxxy smiled at the camera.

"Last time the battle got pretty out of hand," Aya began. She wore her sixth Cosplay, a sexy-bunny costume.

"and there was like no action whatsoever," Luxxy added.

"So we have taken matters into our own hands and came up with our own Battle Phase. Partner Combat!" Aya's ears twitched and her new blonde wig followed the action eerily.

"Those things are creepy," Josh noted her ears.

"Hey maybe they'd look good on Josh?!" Violet's epiphany broke eardrums of all listening to the GMG at that moment.

"No!" Aya stated.

"Why not?" Luxxy asked, she was holding a picture/communication lacrima.

"First you have you lacrima, second I like my ears, and third you guys need to announce stuff." She motioned to cameras while praying that Violet wouldn't take her ears in her moment of weakness.

"Oh yeah," Violet turned to the camera. "Each team is going to choose two pairs to compete. The last person on the team will be the team captain and is responsible for fighting in an tieing battles or replacing injured team members." Violet suddenly sounded intelligent.

"We will have eight battles from this, hopefully."Josh was optimistic … again.

"In a few moments, the teams will decide what their pairs are."

"Is a pair is defeated the scores will affect the teams as they normally would for two players."

"Please enjoy these wonderful commercials about salt lamps

"You know what Josh," Violet was sitting in a room filled with screens next to Josh. The screens filmed the area that was once the maze in the second challenge, but was now an arena for a very small, for most of the mages competing that is, battle, "I think you are right about Salt Lamps. They are pretty amazing."

"They sure are," old Josh was back now that the rain was gone, so his sarcastic remark went virtually unnoticed.

"While we were on commercial break the judges deliberated and here are the results:"

"Mermaid Heel won first place, Blue Pegasus: Second, Lamia Scale: third, Fairy TAil Team B: fourth, Wolf Clan: fifth, Lumen Siderum: sixth, Sabertooth: seventh, and Fairy Tail Team A recieved no points because they were disqualified.

"Also we should mention that none of the partners can be on the same team unless however the five or four member team is competing." Violet dropped the last requirement, "Now the battles will begin!"

"First up we have Wolf Clan's second pair," Luxxy drew the teams from a hat, "Lamia Scale's first team."

"The player from Wolf Clan ar Blast and Chris. From Lamia Scale are Jura and Chelia." Aya called forth just as the aforementioned team members entered the arena.

"On the count of three you will start," Josh dressed as a referrer shouted from the sidelines of the arena. "One … two … three." The battle began.

Boom! "There was an explosion on the side of the arena cause by Blast. Oh look, Chelia is controlling the sand now." Luxxy smoothly began to narrate the battle.

"I hope her outfit doesn't get messed up." Aya bit her nails. "Wait, is Jura really controlling sand?"

"Well what did you expect of a Ten Saints Wizard," Luxxy laughed, then pointed to Chris, "What is he doing?"

"He's just standing there! IS HE CRAZY?! Jura's coming at him with a large wave of sand. Looks like Chris is down."

"Now it is two against one. The odds aren't in Blast's favor."

"Oh no, Jura and Chelia are attacking at the same time, but look at their sync," Aya marveled.

"It looks like Lamia Scale won that battle."

"Now on to the next!"

Luxxy drew "Blue Pegasus' first pair vs. Sabertooth's second pair."

"Those players are Ren and Nichya vs. Rogue and Minerva."

"I have a quick question isn't Minerva a dark mage?" Luxxy merely shrugged and the battle began.

"Wait where did they go?" Aya merely shrugged. there was a mist covering the area where Ren and Nichya were supposed to be. A camera crew managed to find them outside the arena.

"I guess the battle's over, Sabertooth wins."

"Okay next battle," Luxxy drew from the magically box of names, "Mermaid Heel's second pair vs. Fairy Tail Team A's first pair."

"Those players are Tizzy and Lola from Mermaid and Erza and Gray from F.T," Aya watched as the team members prepared for battle.

"I can't wait this will be one of the first times the girls from Mermaid Heel will show us their magic."

"But up against Titania and Gray …" Aya didn't sound very confident in the team.

"And the battle begins, looks like one of the mermaids has made a wall of flowers. Its blocking Gray's attacks and a few of Erza's."

"Oh look, Tizzy has knocked Gray out, but she is completely vulnerable to Erza's attacks."

"Tizzy is down now; Erza attacked her … wait a second … Gray's standing."

"He looks like her was only asleep."

"Poor Lola, all she has are those plants protecting her."

"Look! She's made whips, Gray is officially down!"

"But that means she must face Erza one-on-one." Luxxy pointed out.

"Erza's using her strongest attack, she looks pretty angry."

"Lola did attack one of her family."

"And Lola's down, Fairy Tail Team A wins."

"Next Battle Lumen Siderum's second team vs. Blue Pegasus' second team."

"From L.S. are Wendy and MAson and from Pegasus are Ichya and Eve … oh dear I think Ichya's flirting with Wendy already, and Boom! Ichya's down!"

"Wendy just completely bashed him with some awesome wind magic," Luxxy cried as though she were watching some fascinating sport.

"No, it was Sky Dragon Slayer Magic," Aya corrected. Luxxy waved her off.

"Mason's doing some weird thing that makes him look like he's pooping! … look a whole bunch of rocks came from the ground. So cool!"

"Wendy is using her roar to push the rocks. Oh look its snowing!" Little pieces of frozen precipitation fell to the ground.

"Eve is down. L.S. wins."

"Next Battle," Aya finally got to shout out.

"L.S.'s first pair vs. Wolf Clan's first pair." Luxxy glared at her co-host for stealing her line.

"That would be Lucy and Ethan vs. Macy and Summer."

"Aw look Lucy and Ethan are standing really close …" Luxxy sighed.

"Yeah, they're arguing and the battle has begun. Do they even notice!" Aya shouted at them, as though they could hear her.

"Nope, Summer is staring at them intently; I bet she's jealous."

"Or she's the reason they are floating in the air on gale force winds!" Aya's wig flew of her head. "I liked that one…

"Hey look Lucy did a magic and summon people!" Luxxy pointed like a kid at a candy store.

"It's called Celestial Spirit Magic," Aya ground out.

"Look the maid made a big wall to protect Lucy and Ethand and the goat thing and hot guy in a tux are beating up Macy and Summer from behind."

"Thats is Virgo the maiden spirit and the other two are Leo and Capricorn." Aya corrected again.

"Whatever, the battle's over, L.S. wins," Luxxy jumped back to her box to choose another team's fate. "Fairy Tail Team B's first pair vs. Fairy Tail Team A's second pair? Can that happen?"

Aya shrugged and announced the players, "Mira and Cann from F.T.'s Team B and Lisanna and Romeo from Fairy Tail Team A."

"I don't know I'm kinda iffy on this …" Luxxy watched anxiously as her guildmates went to war.

"They don't look like that want to fight each other," Aya said and five minutes later the battle was declared a tie.

"So," Luxxy began, "We will get to the tiebreaker battle later now it is time for the next battle," back to the magic box. "Mermaid Heel's first pair vs. Lamis Scale's second pair." Luxxy waited a few seconds, "Aya, where are you?"

"She's fine, don't worry," Violet entered the shoot in Aya's Cosplay. It all became clear then. "And the pair from Mermaid Heel is Courtney and Luna."

"As in the Luna that Shoko said was bad?" Luxxy's eyes widened in fear.

"And their opponents are Toby and Lyon. GO LYON!"

"And the battle begins, Courtney is using some sort of light magic to distract Toby. He's such a cat! Did he just blindly run into a wall?"

"Toby is down!" Violet cheered, "And look at Lyon."

"Who wouldn't," Luxxy sighed looking dramatically off into the distance.

"He is attacking with all his might, but dang these girls are hard to beat."

"OH MY GOD! ON OF THEM IS A WOLF! I REPEAT ONE OF THEM IS A WOLF! AND THEY TACKLED DOWN LYON!"

"How dare she!" the fangirls exclaim.

"The battle is over, Mermaid wins." Luxxy suckily walksover to the box, "This will be our last battle before the tiebreaker begins. Now the teams, Fairy Tail Team B's Second Fairy vs. Sabertooth's first pair."

"Those members would be," Luxxy looked at Aya with shock and confusion. When did she get there? "Gajeel and Elfman vs. Sting and Rufus! This is going to be exciting."

"It most certainly is," Violet entered the shot as well looking disheveled; Aya had turned out to be a more formidable opponent than Candy.

"Guy s look Rufus is using his magic and fools Elfman into thinking its really him then Sting Attacked while Rufus kept Gajeel busy now they are both attacking Gajeel. he's put up a good fight, but it wasn't good enough the battle is over and Sabertooth wins." Neither Violet nor Aya heard this. Currently they were having a massive cat-fight.

"You're just a phony!" Violet scratched at Aya's face.

"No, I'm just sane!"

Luxxy claimed the camera again with surprisingly Josh as a co-host. "Well it doesn't look like Violet or Aya will be joining us. But no it is time for the tie breaker. Juvia and Natsu, both Fairy TAil mages, will be battling it out to find out which team will get the points."

"For this tiebreaker the points won have been reduced to amount used if only one player was defeated."

"And the battle begins, Natsu tries to burn Juvia, but she turns into water. Natsu is shocked and Juvia puts him into a Water Lock. The Battle is over." Luxxy sighed, "that wasn't as climactic as I expected, but Fairy Tail team B won."

"Thank you for joining us,tomorrow we have a very special round and battle phase combo."

"PHONY!"

"MAD WOMAN!

"HAG!"

"YOU KNOW I ACTUALLY KNOW A HAG AND THAT IS VERY OFFENSIVE!"

"I DON'T CARE!"

"YOU SHOULD!"

"JUST GIVE ME YOUR CLOTHES!"

"NEVER!"

"And the battle begins," Luxxy said before the cameras switched off.
