Whoa! So they changed my schedule again and threw me off! I was really struggling because a few of the ideas I had for this chapter didn't really flow together and I certainly didn't want to throw out something that didn't make sense, so I decided that this chapter will be the calm before the storm and the next chapter will be the actual storm, which means that instead of 41 chapters, there will be 42 plus an epilogue. Alright so enjoy!
Love you all!

Bray Wyatt POV
"Have you finished translating that manuscript yet," Natalya asks me, with an impatient twinge in her voice. Although her attitude is frustrating, I can't exactly be mad at her for lack of willingness to wait.
I get up from my place at the kitchen table, where the Album Libris and Máv̱ri̱ Cheirógrafo lieopen to their very last chapters. The last chapters are written in a strange language, one that neither Natalya nor I have ever encountered. The both of us have spent the last week trying to translate the language to no avail, and I'm nearly at my wit's end. I need to translate these chapters in order to learn the secret history of sorcery and how to master it.
"No, Natalya, I have not translated the manuscript yet," I answer her, as I walk out of the kitchen and into the living room. I sit on my rocking chair and stair into the crackling fire. She sits down on the couch adjacent to me, with her arms crossed across her chest.
This manuscript to sorcery mastery is the best kept secret both the supernatural and human world, with good reason too. To humans, sorcerers are angels, God's heavenly beings who carry out his will with unquestioning devotion and an insurmountable amount of power. To those of us belonging to the world of the supernatural, we know them as sorcerers who are gifted by the creator of the universe to draw on the power of the heavens and the Earth. The Great Creator wrote the guide Himself to help those who were blessed with this ability, but during the Great War in the heavens, the former angel, Morningstar, stole the book and brought it to Earth. It was recovered, but rather than keep it in heaven, the Great Creator entrusted the spirit of the Earth, known as Demeter to the Greeks, with the book. She then separated the book into two equal parts and placed them at the end of the Album Libris and Máv̱ri̱ Cheirógrafo. I guess she also translated the book into another language.
"We need to do something," Natalya speaks up, breaking my train of thought. "The new moon is today, and if we are going to attack the wolves we need to do it tonight." She's right. During the new moon all werewolves' senses are weakened. They won't have any way to tell if we are coming for them, and the element of surprise is key to defeating them. "Do you even know what language the manuscript is written in?"
"I think it's the language of the heavens because it is completely foreign to me. If it were any Earthly language I could translate it easily."
"Well, only angels can read the language of the heavens. We should just kidnap the child." That's not a bad idea. Jojo is a heavenly being, so there's no doubt that she'll be able to read the manuscript easily. However, there is a great danger in approaching the little sorceress. I haven't seen the extent of her powers, but I know that angels have power second only to the Great Creator. I would not want to be on the receiving end of that type of power, especially since I am not aware of the level of control Jojo has over her gifts.
"I didn't want to kidnap the child until I knew how to extract the power from her," I inform Natalya honestly..
"What are you afraid of," she asks me with a hint of condescension.
"The child is a sorceress, Natalya. We don't know what kind of power she has access to."
"I am well aware of the child's power. In case you didn't know, I was the one who first encountered the little sorceress." Natalya lifts up her right hand and stares at it. It's blackened and scarred. I always wondered why her hand was like that, and why she didn't heal herself. "I almost ended her life almost two months ago. The child shot a light out her hands and blew my hand off. When I got back to the Realm of Sirens, Melina replaced my hand, but the scar spread to my new hand," she lifts her eyes and looks at me. "Now I have a permanent reminder of that night."
"So then you understand why I am hesitant to kidnap the child."
"You shouldn't be. If there is one thing I have learned from my encounters with the child is that she has no control. She attacked me because her life was in imminent danger, but when I had her kidnapped and imprisoned, she did nothing." I stand up and walk right up to the fireplace.
"Perhaps then, my followers should pay the Gilford Wolf Pack a little visit."
Sasha POV
If CM Punk is telling the truth about the warning from the sorceress, then tonight is when the Wyatts and Natalya will try to kidnap Jojo. I've already told all of the pack to prepare themselves for battle tonight, and Raquel called two of her friends for backup. In fact, they should be here any moment now. I'm feeling really good about tonight. The Wyatts don't know that we're expecting so we'll definitely have the upper hand, but I don't like to take chances, which is why I had Raquel set Roman, Bayley and Jojo up with a hotel room in town for tonight. I want them far enough to be out of harm's way, but near enough so that if something goes wrong, we can alert them right away.
"Bayley," I call out to her as I walk upstairs to her and Roman's room. Upon hearing my voice, Bayley peeks her head out of her old room, Jojo's new room with a curious look on her face. Once she sees that it is me, she steps out of the room and we approach one another. "Are you guys finished packing for tonight?"
"Almost," she informs me with a concerned look on her face. "Roman and I are all packed, so right now we're helping Jojo with packing her things."
"Good." I have to say that I'm very worried about Bayley. Even in the face of danger she's always been enthusiastic. It's disheartening to see her so out of character. "Something on your mind, sweetie?" She nods affirmatively before speaking.
"I'm worried about tonight. I would feel better if Roman and I were to stay here and help everyone during the attack."
"You're worried about us?"
"Of course, especially Paige. She hasn't quite been herself since Mr. Corey was banished." I've noticed that myself. I haven't really been at the Den, but according to Sami, Paige rarely comes out of her room now, and when she does, her eyes are always red, like she's been crying. She doesn't even bother putting on her eye makeup anymore, which only serves to prove that she's been spending most of her time crying. Sami's really worried about her. She hasn't been responding to anyone really, not even her own twin. I don't want to think that Corey leaving has something to do with her change in behavior, but the timing is too perfect for it to be a coincidence.
"I understand your concern for your sister, Bayley, but I really need you and Roman to take Jojo away from here for tonight. I'll watch out for Paige."
"I don't know, Pack Master Sasha."
"Bayley, we can't risk Jojo being in the Den tonight, and if Bray and Natalya get their hands on her, that's the end of the world, and you won't ever have another worry again." I hate to be so frank with her, but I need her to see where I'm coming from. Right now, her, and Roman's place is with Jojo. Although the situation with her twin is heavy on her mind, she needs to trust that the rest of the pack will take of her and watch out for her, she is one of our own after all.
"You're right," Bayley acknowledges almost silently. "Promise you'll make sure nothing bad happens to her?"
"I won't make that promise, Bayley." Her face drops immediately, "This is war, and some of us will get hurt, but we'll all live. I promise you that." The tension leaves her face and she nods in understanding. "Alright then. Take this." I hand her some printed documents. She takes them from me and reviews them carefully. "It's your itinerary for the hotel you'll be staying in for tonight. Don't leave the hotel until I send for you."
Bayley nods her head once again as Roman comes out of their room with Jojo perched on his shoulders and a suitcase in each hand. He slightly bows his head before speaking. "Jojo's all packed up, Bayley. We're ready to go." I look at him in confusion. Where's Jojo's bag? "I see the look on your face Pack Master Sasha. No worries, Jojo has her bookbag on her back."
"Well, good. I just gave Bayley the itinerary for your room. Everything is paid for, so you shouldn't have to worry about anything."
"What about food," he asks me, "from my understanding, human hotels don't allow outside food."
"Order room service. I know it can be expensive, but don't go out of the hotel for anything. Keep all your business in the hotel. We can't risk anyone finding you guys."
"Not a problem, Pack Master Sasha," Bayley interjects. "We'll be extra careful and stay under the radar." She takes a suitcase out of Roman's left hand and turns back to me. "We'll be on our way now, and we'll wait to hear from you. Good luck, keep each other safe."
"Always." With that Bayley hugs me tightly before she, Roman and Jojo head down the stairs and out the Den. I take a deep breath and exhale loudly. At least, I know Jojo will be safe now. That's one less thing I have to worry about. The next thing I know, I feel someone's hand rub my right shoulder and the person's chin rests itself on my left shoulder, as another hand rubs itself against my left upper arm.
"You're so tense, baby." Raquel would be the one to check on me this way. Everyone else is always so sure to give me space. She's the only one who I let be really affectionate with me.
"I have a lot on my mind, Raquel." She lays a kiss on my shoulder.
"I know, and it's totally justified too. You have so much responsibility right now, and CM Punk doesn't seem to be very helpful."
"Give him a little break, babe. He is helping. Right now he's in the backyard with the rest of the pack going over our strategy for tonight." She gives me a small pout and cringles up her face. She's looks adorable when she's frustrated. "He still doesn't deserve to be Head Pack Master, but at least he's not being totally useless."
"I guess." She gets from behind me and takes my hand in hers as she gets in front of me to look me face to face. "We better get downstairs. My friends are here, and you need to meet them." She takes me by the hand and leads me downstairs.
As we approach the living room, I smell two unfamiliar scents, definitely a male and a female. As we get closer, I can hear the two of them talking.
"Your hair has gotten longer since the last time I saw you," a female voice says. "You've grown a beard as well."
"Yeah well, living in the wild and becoming one with nature does that to a man," a male voice replies. "What about you? What have you been up to?"
"I became a magician with a travelling circus. Humans are very easy to entertain." The man laughs at the woman's comment.
"I'll bet it never crossed their minds that they were in the presence of an actual witch!"
"Of course not. The best place to hide is in plain sight, after all." As their conversation comes to an end, Raquel and I approach the two. The man is tall with long dreadlocks and a scruffy and unkempt beard. He really looks like a wildman of sorts, but he mostly reminds me of a hippy, which makes sense, I guess, since witches draw their power from the Earth. The woman is short, really short, with long blonde hair with blue streaks. Come to think of it, her favorite color is probably blue because she's covered in it from head to toe.
"Sasha," Raquel grabs my attention, "This is CJ Parker and Alexa Bliss. I met them after I escaped the Wyatt Compound. They took me under their wing afterward and continued my education in witchcraft." I hold out my hand, which is immediately taken by CJ first and followed by Alexa.
"It's a pleasure to meet the two of you. Thank you for coming in our time of need."
"Not a problem Sasha," Alexa replies cheerfully. "Us witches and werewolves have to stick together." At least some witches still respect the witch-werewolf alliance.
"The Wyatts don't seem to think so," I comment.
"Yeah, Raquel told us," CJ inserts himself into the conversation. "I've never been on the compound, but the Wyatts are very well known among witches, and not for good reasons. We knew it was only a matter of time before Bray Wyatt lost his mind completely and tried to destroy the world.
"Well, at least you know what's at stake," I tell him. "Come on. I'd like you to meet the rest of the pack. They're in the backyard right now with the Head Pack Master going over tonight's strategy."
"I was under the impression that you were Head Pack Master," Alexa mentions as we walk out the front door and around to the back of the house.
"I will be… very soon."
Dean POV
Well, it looks like things with the Wyatts are finally coming to a head. I'm a little disappointed that I'm just finding out about their insane plan to destroy the world. I knew we made a mistake when we recruited Bray Wyatt. To make matters worse, he apparently brought Natalya, of ALL people, back from the dead, and they've teamed up in an effort to annihilate the Earth. Great. Just when things are going well for everybody, life throws us another curveball. I fucking hate baseball.
"Hey, bro," Seth captures my attention now that Punk has finished explaining tonight's strategy. It's been really good seeing my brothers again. This past week Seth and I have been staying at the Den in preparation for the Wyatts attack. I love Kaitlyn, and I love being around her as often as possible, but it was just great to be with my brothers again.
"Hey Seth," I greet him as he sits down next to me on the grass. I pat him on the top of his head and mess up his hair in the process. He groans, but I know he's loving the attention. "What's up with you? You ready for tonight?"
"Yeah, but that's not the biggest thing on my mind to be honest." How could the upcoming battle not be at the forefront of his thoughts? What could possibly be more important than this?
"If this isn't the most important thing to you right now, then what is?" He takes a deep breath and looks down at his hands. His expression is serious and pensive, almost nervous.
"I made a terrible mistake."
"We all make those."
"No, you don't understand. Someone might die because of my mistake." What did he do?
"I'm sure that's an exaggeration."
"It's not. Dean, I," he pauses, it looks like to keep himself from crying. What is going on? "Dean, I had unprotected sex with Renee." I stop and stare at him. I don't react for a good minute, but then the information sinks in.
"Seth, you're not worried about the curse are you?"
"Of course I'm worried about that!" Seth plants his feet into the ground beneath us and leans hid elbows on his knees while bring his hands up to his face. "I can't lose her again, Dean. I just can't."
"Seth. Calm down. Take a moment to think. You're the studious and smart one out of all of us." He looks at me confused. "Bro, the curse won't affect Renee. She's not a wolf."
"But-"
"Why do you think Punk didn't make a big deal out of AJ's pregnancy?" Seth takes a deep sigh of relief and I can literally see all the tension leave his shoulders.
"I can't begin to tell you how freaked I was."
"I would be freaked out if I were you." He gives me a confused look. "I mean are you really ready to be a father, if she's pregnant?"
"I guess I didn't think about that." He looks back down at the ground and I can see his body language change. It's strange how he went from freaked out, to relieved, to nervous all in a matter of five minutes.
"She hasn't take a test yet?"
"Well, she kind of… doesn't know we had unprotected sex." I tilt my head in his direction and just stare at him. How could she not know that they had unprotected sex? "I completely forgot to put the condom on, and I didn't notice until after she fell asleep."
"So you didn't tell her she could be pregnant?" He shakes his head, essentially telling me that he has not had this conversation with her yet. "Don't you think that this is something that she would want to know?"
"Yeah, of course. I just," he pauses and takes in another sigh of relief, "I thought that the curse would affect her and I didn't know how to tell her that I put her life in danger. I mean, I think it's going to be easier to tell her now that I know she'll be alright."
Although I understand where he's coming from, I can't help but feel as if Seth should have told Renee regardless of what he thought about the curse's effect. In fact, the curse is even more of a reason to have told her immediately. Of course, I know he's planning on telling her now, which I suppose makes up for it… a little. I mean, at this point I don't want to argue with Seth about this. It's his life and his relationship, so I don't really have a say in what he does. Still, as one of his triplets it's kind of killing me to not give him my two cents.
I suppose this is just one of those situations where you realize that everyone grows apart, even siblings. Roman, Seth and I have been together since we were born, and we've always been close. Even when we had serious disagreements and even fist fights, we've always been deeply involved in one another's lives, but now things are different. Roman is now Bayley's mate and they are raising Jojo as their own child, Seth is in a serious relationship with Renee, who is a siren no less, and has practically moved in with her, and I'm in a serious relationship with a siren-werewolf hybrid who wants to live her life as a human. The women in our lives have unintentionally pulled us apart. I wish my relationship with Kaitlyn would not have come with the sacrifice of spending less time with my brothers. In some ways it's not so bad because the three of us knew that we had to live our own lives eventually, and these women have just been the catalyst for that to happen. Being with Kaitlyn has really been the best thing for me. I've changed a lot, and I guess you can say that I have become a better person. I mean, I don't fight for the sake of fighting anymore, which is great. It's certainly cut a lot of necessary drama out of my life, especially with Sheamus. Besides, Kaitlyn would never try to divide me from my brothers. She likes the both of them and has been encouraging me to spend more time with them now that I'm not really living at the Den anymore.
"How do you think Renee will react," I pull myself out of my thoughts to ask Seth.
"I don't know, bro," Seth answers while throwing his right hand in air nonchalantly. "She had plans, you know? She wanted to live her life as a human, go to college. You know, be normal. Having a baby is going throw her plans off."
"Well it doesn't have to."
"Really?"
"Yeah, AJ has been making plans to return to school to get her nursing degree, and she's pregnant. Humans have more options when they have kids compared to wolves."
"But I'm a wolf, Dean."
"Yeah, but she isn't. You just need to be an extremely involved and kick-ass dad. You know, like our dad was."
He chuckles and looks at the grass beneath us. "Yeah, our dad was pretty great. Remember that time we were playing in the backyard in the middle of the night, and we were making so much noise that the adults couldn't go to sleep? Dad got so mad at us that he threw a bucket of ice water down on us from his room?" I laugh at the memory. It wasn't funny to the three of us at the time, and all of us got really sick afterward, but looking back on it now, I just think it's funny.
"Well we shouldn't have been making all that noise so late! Remember the morning after, where Sasha's dad was yelling at our dad because of all the noise we were making, but instead of yelling at us and punishing us, he fed us all soup with crackers and let us watch tv because we all had fevers," I pause thinking about the memory. I miss our dad, he was a good guy, and he really stepped up when our mother passed. I could always tell that our dad was heartbroken when Mom died, but he never let that get in the way of being the best father he could be. "If Renee is pregnant, Seth, you'll be a great father, but you should definitely talk to Renee about how you'll raise your child."
"Yeah," Seth pauses and his demeanor changes once again. His face becomes serious. I already know what's on his mind. "I gotta get through tonight first though. The Wyatts aren't pushovers, and we gotta make sure that they don't get to Roman, Bayley and Jojo."
"Trust me, Seth. They don't have a chance. You won't have a problem getting back to Renee."
