CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX:
ALL IS FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR
"Lust, you must arrange to find Pieces."
"Of course," Rego began to leave, but turned, "Uh, how do I do that?"
"By manipulating that stupid announcer."
"But I don't like her that much-" Wrath glared at him. "I love her, I'll go make her put the competitor in a- I don't know exactly, but-"
"Make it a water challenge."
"Yes sir," Rego saluted and ran off.
"Hello Fiore!" Violet's face was much too close to the camera or the camera were much too close to her.
"LAst week Wolf Clan won the musical challenge."
"This week they aim to win again in the water challenge."
"Each team must choose a mage with a type of water magic. That MAge must then fight in an arena against the other mages."
"Whoever falls out of the arena first is in eighth place; whoever in it last gets first place."
"Its really simple."
"Is it really simple?" a voice came from behind the cameras. "I am whispering!"
"Wolf Clan sends out Larita Lovelace who was actually guildmaster last year, but gave up her position to compete. Makes you think Wolf Clan doesn't have any good mages." Larita glared at the camera as if she head Violet, but the arena was pretty far away…
"That' creepy," Josh blinks at the face.
"It is."
Down in the Lumen Siderum part of the stands Wendy whispers to Lucy. "This isn't fair," the younger girl claims."
"Now all we are waiting on is L.S. to decide who they are sending out."Violet sounded a little irritated.
"Lumen Siderum doesn't have a Water Mage."
"True," Lucy nods. Wendy looks towards her and then back to Levy who was talking to Carla about something.
"But, Lucy this isn't right. They shouldn't be allowed to purposefully make us lose."
Lucy nods again.
"You are impossible to talk to some times.
This time stands grins at Wendy. "I won't be back for a couple of days."
"Lucy!" The game started.
"And it looks like the L.S. competitor, Testu Nanami is drowning!" Violet squealed.
Hours later in a field only familiar to a few eyes, Lucy stood waiting for something, or rather someone.
He wore a feather hat; it was his signature after all. His blue eyes looked different too. There looked so innocent to Lucy years ago, but in the field she notices they looked like the devil's. Yet, they were exactly the same.
"Lucy," Wrath said.
"Narcissus," Lucy glared.
A/N: Hey-o Owls, this is twice (three times if you read my other story) that I have seen you. Amazing right! Okay, so I had most of the news stuff in the last author's note...but I lied a little while back. *smiles* It wasn't a really big lie - it's kinda small actually, but i thought I should tell you none the less. This story will end at chapter 33 with the possibility of two epilogues, or just one...I'm still debating. I just thought that you should know.
Disclaimer: Yeah! I don't own Fairy Tail, she says with all the happiness one could muster at not being a good artist or having lots of money.
Hoots,
Owls
