CHAPTER 29:

SOMETHING BAD IS HAPPENING IN CROCUS

"Lulu, do you wanna go shopping?" Aki was greeted with a glare. "Um, we could go to a Karaoke bar…" Lulu continued to glare at her teammate.

"Do you want to stay in and glare at people?" This time Lulu turned her head, putting some headphones on. "Okak, get back to me on it then."

Aki sighed and flopped onto a couch. "You okay?" Hanaku, her best friend in the entire world,and third brother sat next to her.

"No one wants to do anything with me."

"Well, we do have to prepare for the next round which is in a few hours."

"But we are in Crocus, the capital of Fiore! When are we ever going to get the opportunity to go into the streets like this.

"Fine, I'll go with you, but if you brothers catch us, they'll kill."

"I'm never gonna let that happen."

Aki jumped up, giving him a hug. "Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!"

"Does anybody want to do anything," Tizzy looked at her sisters. Courtney was reading, Lola was talking to a plant (it was responding, she's not that insane…), Melly was sleeping as usual, and Luna was nowhere to be found.

"Luna's run off again," Tizzy alerted the girls who all groaned, excluding Melly who just turned over. "Come on we have to find her."

"We should go shopping," Lynnea suggested.

Matt looked to Morris; he wasn't looking back. "Morris, what do you think?"

"We should obey the girls," the brooding man told his devoted, unwanted follower.

"Yes you should," Kanade shouted, jumping up. "Now, I need to look good, so i can find a girlfriend!"

"Dude, why do you have to be lesbian; you're so hot!" Matt said as they walked out the door. Kanade hit him playfully.

IN the background always forgotten: Jackie.

"You're never gonna see anything, Matt Darklight." Jackie drew back her bow and with perfect aim hit a him in the picture from Sorcerer's Weekly.

"You're perfect," Cora whispered, her forehead resting on Katio's.

"No, you are."

"For the sake of Earthland get a room!" Boomer threw the only book he would probably ever read at the couple. He glanced at Hikari quickly to see she was laughing.

"You know Boomer, when you get a girlfriend we're going to be saying the same thing." Aoi, Katio's sister.

"And that better not be you, Aoi!" Katio glared at Boomer.

"As if, she's like my sister!"

Aoi glared at him before storming out of the room, heading for the city.

"Would just shut up!" Luxxy shouted at Catherine.

"Not a chance, you bitch!" the brunette shouted back.

"So a normal day," Seth watched the chaos that was Fairy Tail Team A.

"I guess," Chanyee responded.

"Seems like you guys are ready," Soren entered the room. Marissa followed him holding Jeanie, who isn't so small to be easy to carry.

"So ready," Seth told me, turning from his lack of teamwork. "At least we have Chanyee and me, or else I swear the entire team would die."

"Why do they fight all the time anyway?"

"Well Catherin here likes Ty," Seth began, "but Ty likes Luxxy who has no idea about any of this. "

"This is so wrong," Marissa watched in horror as Luxxy slapped Catherine. She looked at Jeanie in her arms. "PLease don't grow up to be like that, okay?" Jeanie nodded and hopped out of her arms running towards Seth.

"Can we go to the petting zoo?" her eyes got big and her lip jutted out.

"Guys, we're going to the petting zoo!"

"Why-" Catherine looked over, seeing the face of pure innocence she fell into submission.

"I swear that she has some magic so that when she makes that face all obey her." Marissa told Chaynee, who nodded.

"I found a map!" Tetsu set it out on a table.

"Is that Crocus?" Celeste, who had never looked at a map before, asked.

"No, this is Fiore." He flipped the map over. "This is Crocus."

"OKay," Celeste stared at it intently. "So it's the same size of FIore?"

"Nope, its smaller. See, it's a small dot on the other side, but it takes up the whole thing on this side." Azu explained.

"Thank Earthland that Archi does all the navigation when you are on mission."

"Yes, I would be so lost if it weren't for Archi." The priest blushed beside her.

"Okay we need to go here, and here," Testu pointed.

"And here, I hear its the best Karaoke bar in town." Musica pointed.

Boetius was looking in his mirrors as usual. The rest of the room was quiet even though there were four other occupants. One mirror changed from his oh so beautiful face.

"Pride, report," Rego said using a clipped tone across the lacrima communication.

"All targets are headed to the location. The next round of these games will begin in less than an hour."

In that remaining hour, somehow every member of every team made it to the Karaoke bar. The bright lights revealed that Violet and Josh were waiting with the cameras.

"What are you doing here?" Courtney asked, Luna had just run back to them.

"Duh, this is where the next round is taking place."

"We just finished the scores, you guys need to hurry up. Wolf Clan has been sitting there for an hour!"

"Wait!" the commanding voice of Laxus interrupted them. "Why weren't we guild masters notified of this change?"

"You were," Rego came forwards.

"I guess we were." Lucy looked to Levy, noticing that Laxus changed his mind far too quickly.

"Luxxy," she called to the blonde as the guild members and their masters headed into a club area. "I want you to have these." She handed her a pouch which jingled.

Luxxy looked inside. "Your keys! But I'm not a-" but Lucy was gone, so was everyone else. They were all inside the club-like area, and Luxxy wasn't. She tried the door: locked.

"What in the name of Earthland?" Luxxy tried her lighting. It didn't work. Not even a spark or a pulse of magic came out of her. She banged on the doors. No response. What was she going to do? She didn't have her magic, she wasn't with her team!

"This week, we are having a group challenge," Violet announced.

"The groups will be locked in this arena and have to duke it out until only one is left standing."

"It sounds like so much fun!

"Let the games begin!" a bell sounded and the teams started fighting. Fists were thrown, blasts of magic were shot everywhere.

"Looks like LS isn't in fighting shape. The are out first!"

"Oh and Mermaid heel! Looks like- Wait! Blue Peg- Lamia Scale is down too!"

"WHat's going on? Wolf Clan is dominating so hard!"

"Sabertooth and Fair TAil A- B too."

"Wolf Clan wins in five minutes!"

"Now its time for some interviews.

"You were the first to go, why do you think that is?"

THe Lumen SIderum shook their heads. "We don't have a fucking clue of what just happened." Testu said. Azu patted him on the back.

"I couldn't do my magic," he continued. "And the whole group-"

"It's not your fault!" Azu told him firmly.

"YEah, if you were having problems we should have helped you." Musica added.

"I think it had to do with the moon. There was a special full moon last night. Special Magic happens then."

"Okay! Next team!"

"Mermaid Heel! What happened out there?"

"There were so many of them, giving out this weird energy," Lola told her. "Courtney couldn't concentrate, and as a result neither could we."

"Well, you weren't the only ones. LS was telling us about something strange as well."

"See Courtney, you're perfectly normal," Lola told her sister.

"That isn't a very good compliment," Tizzy reprimanded.

"Next!"

"Blue Pegasus, let me guess strange magic?"

"Not really, Cora left actually. She just vanished and we don't know where she is," Hikari said. "And maybe some weird magic. It's remarkable we even came in sixth only Boomer and I were fighting. Aoi and Kaito had no idea what was going on."

"Everybody has been saying something about that," Josh said.

"It could just be normal,"Violet insisted.

"Or the moon."

"So Lamia Scale, weird magic, disorientation?"

"What?" Rex asked.

"Why you were defeated so quickly?"

"But why weird magic? Why not Hanaku and Aki were on a date!" Rikky yelled. They proceeded off camera.

"There's something strange going on here. You should ask Wolf Clan they didn't have any problems." Lulu then left as well.

"Everyone has gone insane."

"We have too, remember the really plan for today was to have a dance off."

"It was."

"Can we talk to Wolf Clan next?"

"What do you mean we can't?"

"So, they refuse to talk to us? They're under contract they have to!" The lights flashed off.

"It is time!" a voice boomed. A large holograph appeared.

"I am Wrath, ruler of sins and destroyer of the stars and moon! Bow down to me!" All who heard did so. "Now, Lust and Pride bring forth the Chosen."

A/N: So my dear, dear, readers. I'm nt putting this story on Hiatus per say ,but I just can't update like I used to. Just know I love you all and haven't forgotten about you and these final chapters (yes, the story is still going to end.)
