King and Answers

"King will kill Happy!"

Natsu banged again on the barrier, harder this time as he became frantic.

"Who's "King"?" Erza asked, getting just as panicked as the pinkette. Natsu bared his sharp canines, eyes wild as he stared up at Erza, banging his fist until they were numb, but that didn't stop him.

"Does it matter? He'll kill him if I don't get to him soon! So let me out now!" Natsu screeched as he started to throw his shoulder against the barrier with all his strength, wanting nothing more than to be free so he could get to his only companion.

"Calm down!" Erza shouted just as the old man before burst into the room with a white haired woman, green haired guy, and a white haired guy. All of them looked alert and froze in spot when they saw the state Natsu was in, panting frantically with wide wild eyes and teeth that were possibly canines, banging against the barrier surrounding his bed with all his strength.

"What's going on?" Master bellowed, instantly at the end of the bed as he watched in confusion as Natsu continued to use his body to force the barrier down. "What happened?" he repeated, looking up at Erza who glanced quickly at him before she returned her gaze back to the fifteen-year-old.

"He'll kill him! He'll kill him! King'll kill Happy!" Natsu roared over and over, his eyes becoming far more frantic now as he repeated this.

"Calm down boy!" Master demanded over Natsu, trying to silence him only for the pinkette to pay no attention to the old man, now thrusting his whole body against the barrier including his head, not caring for the pain and throbbing headache he got. He had to get out of here! "Freed," the old man turned to the green haired guy who stood ready with his hand on the hilt of his sword that was strapped to his waist. "Calm him down and make it where he has to answer every question thrown at him!" he demanded, Freed instantly going to work. Once he was done, he stepped back and away from his barrier, everyone watching as Natsu finally started to calm down until he looked normal again with his blank face and empty gaze. He now sat straight up in the bed and looked nowhere in particular. He acted as if he had done nothing way out of character for him. Master sighed deeply. "Now Natsu, answer me, who is "King"?" he asked as calm as he could. Natsu slowly turned his empty gaze to him, taking a moment before he replied.

"My guild master. His name is King and nothing else for he is the King of the guild. His word is law and if you do not obey, punishment is severe." he replied in a monotone. Master nodded, folding his arms across his chest.

"And who is this "Happy"?" he asked, worried for this person that could be in life threatening danger.

"Happy is a blue cat that can talk and fly. I found him when he was an egg and raised him. He saved me so I must save him." he replied, moving his gaze to the wall in front of him. Everyone in the room was quiet surprised at learning that Happy was not a person, but was indeed a cat instead.

"Alright," Master coughed to clear his throat before moving on. "Why would King kill Happy?" he asked, knowing this was the most important question at the moment. Natsu didn't speak for a few minutes before he drew his legs inwards so he now sat Indian style on top of the messy bed.

"I tried to leave a few years back so to stop it; King took the thing most precious to me so that I couldn't leave. He took Happy and threatened that if I ever tried to leave again, he'd kill him. Happy knows nothing of this, but whenever I see King, he always reminds me about the threat." Natsu said. "Even if I'm gone far too long, King will not hesitate to end…" he paused as if the words were too hard to say. "He will not hesitate to kill Happy." he finished. The room went silent as everyone tried to digest the words Natsu had just said.

Looks like this kid actually cares for something.
