Summary: Seth Rollins has decided he has had enough of the Authority and he misses his old friends in the Shield and the cheers and the support of the crowd so with help from a Diva they reform the Shield and take out the Authority.

Chapter 18
The Shield had made their way backstage after the Evolution of the Authority had left and were heading to the trainer's room so Paige could have her ribs checked over Seth and Dean were helping her walk to try and prevent any extra injury.
After examining Paige's ribs the trainer rapped them in a bandage and told the Shield to bring Paige to him on Smack Down and they would see if she was cleared to compete or not.
"Thanks doc" said Roman as the Shield headed back to their locker room and gathered their bags and left the arena and headed to their hotel suit.

Half an hour later at the hotel the Shield had just made it to their suite and were relaxing when Roman received a Phone call.
"Yeah" said Roman answering the phone.
"Right I'll tell them" said Roman replying to whatever the man on the other end said before ending the call.
"So Roman what was it?" asked Seth.
"We're defend the Tag Titles on Smack Down against Cena and a mystery partner"
"Well at least it means we can take Cena out and send him to the same hospital bed that Nikki is in" said Paige.
"Believe that" said Roman as the four Shield Members touched fists they also noticed Paige wincing at the movement.
They all know why they all feel down after the beat down they took from the Nexus.
"Those Ribs still being a bitch?" said Dean.
"Of course they are what the fuck do you expect?" said Paige.
"Hey all I was gunna do was recommend putting an ice pack over the bandages it always worked for me when by Ribs were hurt in CZW"
"Sorry Dean but you asked a stupid question"
"I'll go and get some ice theirs an ice dispenser at the end of the hall" said Roman getting up.
"Right I'll grab a towel to put the ice in" said Dean.
"Paige be honest with me is anything other than your ribs hurting?" asked Seth.
"No everything else is good I just hope I'm good by Smack Down I want pay back on Charlotte"
"You will I'm sure of it"
"Thanks Seth, So have you decided when your cashing in the Briefcase yet?"
"Maybe Rumble, but I'm also thinking further ahead, it all depends on when Lesner shows up and becomes vulnerable"
"When you do decide the time is right all of us will be there for you"
"I know you will, and Paige Thank You for making me see the light and that the Shield had unfinished business to take care of"
"That's what friends are for Seth"
Seth hugs Paige just as Dean comes back into the room with a towel.
"Get a room you two" said Dean with a Smile on his face.
"Is your mind always in the Gutter?" asked Paige.
"You should know by now that's the way I am" replied Dean.
The three of them burst into laughter and just then Roman walked back in with the ice.
"Did I miss something?"
"No, No, Yes" came the replies the two no's from Paige and Seth and the yes from Dean.
"Here's your ice and I don't want to know" said Roman.

A few days later it was time for Smack Down.
The Shield had arrived at the arena and headed for the trainer's room to see if Paige was cleared to wrestle tonight.
"So Doc what's the verdict?" asked Paige.
"Well your ribs are still a bit tender but you are free to wrestle if you have a match" said the Doc.
"Thanks" said Paige as she and the rest of the Shield left the Trainer's room and headed to their locker room.
There was a Match sheet waiting for them and they looked on the list to see what the business of the night was and they were all shocked by what read as a John Cena Heel Turn Promo.
"Are they serious or have we been given a fake sheet?" asked Seth.
"Don't know but I'll soon find out" said Paige as she got out her phone and scrolled down the list of her contacts until she reached Becky Lynch and rung her to see if the Sheet was genuine.
A few minutes later Paige put her phone away and turned back to the Guy's and said "It's genuine"
"It also looks like we don't have any Matches tonight I guess that means we are just going to react on the fly in typical Shield style" said Dean.
"Agreed so what Matches do we make our presence known in?" asked Seth.
"Well I'm going for that one" said Paige as she pointed to a Match
"Also we should all come out after Cena's Heel turn" said Dean.
"Believe That" said Roman.

Half an hour later it was time for the Number 1 contenders match for the Divas Title.
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is to determine the number 1 contender for the Divas Title. First from Dublin Ireland Becky Lynch" said Lillian
'Celtic Invasion' played out as Becky Lynch made her way to the ring.
"And her opponent from The Queen City Charlotte" said Lillian.
'Recognition' plays out as Charlotte makes her way to the ring.
"This should be a hard fought match between these two former NXT Rivals" said JBL.
"You're Right John but do you think Becky will be looking to get some revenge for her friend Paige" said Cole.
"I doubt it this is such a big match for the two of them I think they will focus on that, don't you agree King?" asked JBL.
"Yeah I think that Becky will focus on the match first then if she is victorious then she will focus on revenge" said King.
The bell rung signifying the start of the match.
Becky and Charlotte lock up and Charlotte gets the advantage by manoeuvring into a side head lock, which Becky counters into a Back suplex and then before Charlotte can avoid it Becky grabs an arm and places it in a Key Lock. Charlotte realises the predicament she's in and rolls through so Becky's Shoulders are on the mat but Charlotte didn't let the ref count the attempted pin fall instead she lifted Becky up and hit a modified Power Bomb to Lynch and went for a cover but only got a 1 count.
Becky got back up and locked up with Charlotte again and this time Becky connected with a Suplex and then grabbed Charlottes arm and dropped a knee on to it three times then tried to go for her arm bar submission Charlotte however managed to reach a foot out and touch the ropes, causing the hold to be broken. Charlotte got up and shook her arm to make sure it was ok and then she went back on the attack and locked up with Becky for a third time and this time she Irish Whipped her into the corner and went after her and delivered several patented Flair knife edge chops before letting out a WOOOOOOO, which the fans joined in with.
Becky was recovering in the corner and waiting for Charlotte to turn her back on her and once she did Becky ran out the corner and Bulldogged Charlotte and followed that up with her triple running Leg Drop's and once she had completed the move she pulled Charlotte up and delivered a Hammerlock Suplex then followed that up by going again for her arm bar submission and This time Charlotte had nowhere to go and looked like she might tap out.
"Becky has her in the Dis-arm-her" said Cole.
"The what?" asked JBL.
"The Dis-arm-her. That is what she calls that Submission move" said Cole.
"Whatever it's called Charlotte might have to tap otherwise her arm could be seriously injured" said King.
'Voices' plays out as Randy Orton comes out onto the stage and Lynch keeps an eye on him while still holding Charlotte in the move and then when Randy starts heading to the ring she brakes the hold and backs away from Charlotte while keeping her eye on Orton.
"What is Randy Orton doing here he is ruining this Match?" said King.
"Obviously he's here to check on his team mate" said JBL.
"Well he has significantly changed the direction this match is going in" said Cole.
'Special Op' plays out as Roman Reigns appears at an entrance point in the Crowd distracting Orton.
The ref has now left the ring and is trying to get Randy Orton to go back up the ramp and while his back is turned Charlotte with what look like Brass Knuckles on her hand delivers a right fist to Becky knocking her out. As she is about to get the refs attention Paige who had come out from a different entrance point to Roman jumped her and delivered the Ram-Paige before dragging Becky so she was on top of Charlotte. Paige heads round the ring and tells the ref to get the ring as Roman and Paige block Randy Orton's path to the ring. The ref counts to three and Lillian announces Becky Lynch the winner and new number one contender.
Paige and Roman head to the Ring and help Becky to the trainer's room, while Orton checked on Charlotte and helped her to the back.

An hour later.
'The Time is now' plays out as John Cena makes his way to the ring with a mic in hand as the Cena Sucks Chants accompany his entrance music.
"Guys could you calm down for a minute I have some very important things to say" said Cena.
The crowd quietened down and Cena begins with what he wants to say.
"Ok so first off you guy singing that version of my music is entertaining as usual. But I have some other business to take care off tonight and to show how serious it is I'm going old school tonight" said Cena as he felt in his pockets and pulled out a Chain and put it on and was then handed a Baseball Cap and put it on Backwards, "Right now let's begin" said Cena.
"Shield a month is all you've been back.
And the odds against you are already starting to stack.
Last week on Raw you were dominated by the Nexus.
And repeatedly hit in the Solar Plexus.
Look at the four of you misfits.
You got beat down after throwing a hissy fit.
You pretend that you are on the same Page.
But all I see is four people filled with Rage.
So what Seth you got caught cheating on your Girl.
The feeling of cheating on Nikki makes me want to hurl.
Next on to Roman hey it never Reigns but it pours.
You can't afford the God Fathers hoes so you go for the whores.
Ambrose you were the Lunatic Fringe.
The former Titty Master is now just having a Pussy Binge.
Paige I haven't forgotten about you, you're the one who took out my Nikki.
When you and Seth did it did he pull out? If not in few months you maybe in a position that is Sticky."
The crowd were in stunned silence at what John Cena had just said.
"Yo I ain't finished yet, you see come next week on Raw you won't be tag Champs.
When my tag partner and I beat you all you will be is beaten Chumps.
You ask who my tag partner is and why you will defend them after all there was no contenders match.
Well all I can say is the eggs of this plan are soon to hatch.
Just know his first name rhymes with Handel, and we had more success in a handicap match than you.
13 on 2 and we would've won which is more than you could do
Monday night Hunter comes out and introduces the Evolution of the Authority.
I bet you think this one will be just as filled with hypocrisy.
This group is not Evolution or the Authority, hell it's not even DX this group is called Adapt or Perish.
Hunters own words once caught up to him but not anymore this group is all fresh.
The Game and the Billion Dollar Princess run this show that should suffice.
I guess I have only one thing to add to that 'Word life'"
Cena dropped the Mic as 'Basic Thuganomics' play out and the crowd Boo as Cena leaves the ring.
'Special Op' plays out as the Shield emerge through the crowd and make their way to the ring, Cena backs up and rolls back into the ring.
"Cena what you just said makes us more determined to defeat you next week and maybe even leave you laying here tonight" said Dean Ambrose.
The Shield surrounds the ring, one member on all four sides of the ring.
"You see Cena for years you have been the face of the company, but I think you have become bitter that the Shield is the new face of the WWE" said Seth.
"Yeah like I would be worried about you four.
You're just the hot new thing and will soon be out the door"
"Enough Cena you rap was crap and was absolutely disrespectful" said Paige.
"Believe that" said Roman.
"Believe that.
That's the worst catchphrase I've heard since 'What"
The crowd was now loudly booing John Cena
"Talking about catchphrase's what sort of one is 'you can't see me'?" asked Seth.
'King of Kings starts off before fading into Line in the Sand' as Triple H, Wade Barrett, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton and Charlotte make their down the Entrance Ramp.
The Shield look at each other and nod then as quick as a flash they are in the ring and beating down John Cena as the rest of Adapt or Perish rush to the ring and as they get in the ring the Shield are ready for them Paige delvers a stiff kick to Charlotte, Seth jumps and Wade Barrett and takes him down, Reigns Spears Triple H before taking Orton to a corner and Beating him up which leaves Ambrose to fight Kevin Owens. Despite the odds being 5 on 4 in the favour of Adapt or Perish the Shield are standing dominant, until John Cena recovers enough to get back in the fight and goes straight for Roman pulling him off Randy and lifting him up for a AA but Orton has other thoughts and RKO'S him off Cena's Shoulders. Orton then RKO'S Ambrose and Cena AA's Seth Rollins, leaving Paige standing and being surrounded by Adapt or Perish until Charlotte connects with the Natural Selection and Adapt or Perish stand victorious of the Shield.
AN 2: congratulations to Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Sasha Banks for coming up to the main roster, now the Divas Division is filled with Talent and hopefully they will get the time to show what they are capable of.
