Hello my dear friends and readers. So from what I've heard there will most likely still be a RWBY volume 3 though Im not sure. Regardless Im crossing my fingers. Monty if you can some how read this in heaven then please send down a beam of pure epicness and let your legacy live on. Enjoy.

There are a few sounds that nobody wants to hear. Screaming, crunching bones, crying children stuff like that. Fidelis was unfortunate enough to hear the worst sound of all. His alarm clock. He lifted his head off the pillow and looked over towards the evil devise that brought him out of his peaceful slumber. "Shit, its already ten o'clock." He groaned as he walked into the bathroom and jumped in the shower. Due to all the stuff he'd been through lately he thought he'd treat himself and sleep in, but forgot the worst part of sleeping in. "You always wake up even more tired than when you went to sleep." He said as he lathered the soap through his hair.

After the quick shower he looked himself over in the mirror. He was healing up quite nicely, at this rate he'd be healed even faster than he thought. He walked out of the bathroom and started putting on his street clothes. He'd be going out today so it probably wouldn't be the best idea wear his mask or combat gear, they would bring far to much attention and he still wasn't in the condition to deal with the cops. He'd also reluctantly have to leave his Gunbai at base as well. Once he was ready he exited his room and began making his way towards the exit.

One of the annoying things about nobody knowing what you looked like was that people would stop and ask who you were when you weren't wearing the mask, this is why Fidelis had long sense come up with the alias of Butch Kozner. A black market arms dealer doing business with the White Fang. He had papers and everything that said he was there with permission from the higher ups. Adam once asked why he put so much effort into it when he could just slap on a recruits mask until he'd left the compound to which Fidelis replied. "Where's the fun in that?" Adam promptly dropped the subject.

As Fidelis took a step outside and breathed in the fresh air he smiled. "You know, maybe this won't be so bad after all." He said with a smile. then out of nowhere he felt something latch on to his arm. He looked and saw Neo holding on to his right arm and began to drag him in the direction of main street. He was a little to surprised to be annoyed, it was extremely difficult if not impossible to sneak up on Fidelis. He'd trained himself to be constantly aware of his surroundings which made the fact that she managed to get to him unnoticed even more impressive.

"So whats the plan? Im free pretty much all day so Im up for anything." Neo pulled out her scroll and did her thing.

'But you only owe me lunch and ice cream?' he read to himself.

"Yeah well its either hang with you all day or risk running into queen bitch back at base. Honestly you seem cool so I'd rather hang with you." He said as they walked.

Neo had a smirk on her face. 'Oh stop it or your gonna make me blush' She typed out on her scroll. This made Fidelis chuckle.

"Come on, I know a great place to get lunch." With that he began leading her down the street in the direction of the transmit tower. They walked past multiple street performers and vendors. Neo got excited when she saw an ice cream stand but when Fidelis walked right past it she looked like he just kicked her puppy. "Trust me, I know a place thats way better." He continued to lead them until the arrived at a small cafe that looked quite fancy and expensive.

Fidelis walked in and right up to the host. "Do you have a reservation sir?" The man asked.

"No, but Im a friend of Pavel's. Tell him his pal Artyom is here." The man then disappeared into the back. A minute later a large man who was clearly a bear Faunus came out from the back with a big smile on his face and his arms spread wide.

"Artyom my friend! It is so good to see you. How can I help you today?" Asked the man as he and Fidelis shared a quick bro hug.

"Well Pav, today is the only real day off I've had in months and I promised my friend here I'd take her out to lunch. Everybody who has atleast a few brain cells are aware that you've got the best place in Vale so I was hoping I could get a table for me and the little lady." Fidelis instantly felt a sharp pain in the back of his leg and turned to see an annoyed Neo. Apparently she doesn't like being called little.

"Say no more my friend, please come." The man swiftly lead Fidelis and Neo into the dining area where they were seated at a both. "I will have some of our best wine sent out momentarily." As soon as he left Neo pulled out her scroll.

'Artyom?'

"Its one of my many aliases."

'And how do you know this guy?'

"A while back I saved his wife from a group of anti faunus radicals who were harassing her. Pavel was so thankful he named their first son after me. Ever since I've had a few of my 'friends' make sure nobody messes with this place. What?" He asked seeing a smirk on her face.

'Nothing. So this a nice first date.' She typed out getting a chuckle out of Fidelis.

"Who said anything about a date? I thought this was to repay a debt." He said with a large grin. Despite how confident Fidelis naturally was and the fact that he was by no means unattractive he had very little experience if any when it came to dating or even flirting. While he was able to pick up on when people did flirt with him, he did know how to react to it so he'd just jump to sarcasm and humor. Luckily he was saved from having to talk about it any further because a waiter came out with a bottle of wine and poured them two glasses of it.

2 hours later

Fidelis had just walked out of Pavel's cafe both quite satisfied with their meals. Half way though the meal Fidelis learned a lot about Neo. Apparently her semblance was short range teleportation which is one of the reasons she was such a good infiltrator. She had learned that acts of physical affection even fake one were Fidelis's weak points, which is why she insisted on latching onto his arm everywhere they went. She knew it drove him crazy.

They began to walk around town without any real purpose in mind, they just walked and talked. Or rather Fidelis talked and Neo typed. After hitting up a ice cream vendor that Fidelis swore had the best ice cream in town they made their way to the park where they decided to sit down and chill out under a large tree. In the middle of their conversation Fidelis interrupted her. "Theres got to be a better way for us to talk than this. Do you know sign language?" He asked Neo who nodded 'yes'. "Alright, give me a week and I'll have it down." He said before flopping down on his back and staring up into the sky causing Neo to giggle.

This was new to Fidelis. He loved lying on his back and doing nothing but watching the clouds but he usually only did it when he was alone and needed some piece and quiet. Having someone next to him, especially a human was new. Fidelis didn't hate all humans like some people in the White Fang. He was fully aware that there were plenty of good humans out there that he would probably be good friends with, Neo being a great example.

She didn't seem to care that he was a faunus at all, shes funny, and fun to talk to. Fidelis wasn't afraid to admit that she was also very cute though he wouldn't say he had any feelings that he was aware of towards her at the moment. Not that he'd know how to act upon them if he did.

He and Neo sat there just talking for a few hours before she suggested they head to Juniors bar and hang there for a while. Deciding he could go for a drink Fidelis agreed and they began to make their way there, Neo latched onto Fidelis's arm the whole way much to his dismay. As they approached the club the two men standing outside must have recognized Neo from her many trips there with Roman. Roman and Junior were actually pretty good friends. They opened up the door without making them wait in the long ass line of people out front. Once inside Neo released Fidelis's arm and disappeared into the crowd on the dance, while Fidelis made a beeline for the bar.

Junior came up to him after he took a seat. "What'll ya have?" He asked.

"Give me some Mantle Rum." Fidelis said. Rum from Mantle was Fidelis's favorite drink of all time, the only problem was that it was expensive as hell. But what very few people knew was that Fidelis wasn't actually short on money, he actually was pretty wealthy by most peoples standards. He had over a dozen bank accounts all across Remnant each under different names. He filled each with money he made off selling Schnee dust company property on the black market at 75% their normal price. Sense all the dust the Fang Steals goes towards their plans, he instead stole other things. Mainly their security mechs. Just one of those quad-tanks goes for around 800,000 lien. On a job he did with one of his buddies Kyzal they were sent to raid a Schnee warehouse full of dust containers. After loading up all the dust he and Kyzal found three whole shipping container filled with over a dozen of those tanks as well as three more filled with standard security droids. Fidelis split the profits with Kyzal 50 50 and they both walked away with quite the fortunes.

Junior came back with the bottle and poured him a glass. Fidelis took a second to enjoy the aroma before taking a sip. The flavor was like an explosion to his senses. He turned around to look at the dance floor, he didn't recognize the song playing but then again he wasn't really a fan of dance club music. Among the people dancing he spotted Neo who looked like she was having a great time. That brought a bit of a grin to Fidelis's face though he was sure why, deciding to just forget it and take another sip.

After about thirty minutes Neo came over and sat down next to him at the bar. Fidelis who had already finished two cups of the rum ordered another glass for her. He then poured her a glass full to which she was hestitant, which so far was a first in Fidelis's knowledge of the girl. She pulled out her scroll. 'I've never drank alcohol before.' She type causing Fidelis to laugh and her to grow a frown. Now that he thought about it, Neo didn't actually drink any of the wine at lunch either.

"Neo my dear, this isn't alcohol." He said showing her the rum. "Its a gift from the gods. Trust me, one sip never hurt anyone." He said as he drank some more of his. After a few minutes of hesitation Neo took a small sip of the drink and smiled. She then proceeded to drink some more of it. Now Fidelis had already drank two glasses of the stuff and was finishing off his third so he was a bit tipsy so he didn't notice when Neo finished off her first glass and filled a second. Within ten minutes Neo had downed six glasses of rum. The thing about mantle rum is that it has a high alcohol percentage.

Fidelis weighed around 150 lbs on a good day and it only took three glasses to get him tipsy, compound that with the fact that he's got a bit of a tolerance for booze from drinking sense he was younger meant that the rum they were drinking was pretty strong. Neo on the other hand probably only weighed around 90 lbs and had never drank a drop of alcohol in her life, and she had just finished her sixth glass. She was hammered and didn't even realize it.

Fidelis didn't notice either until he saw that the bottle was half empty already. He looked over at Neo and saw her sitting on the floor. Deciding it was probably best if they left sense he knew well what happened when a lightweight drank to much he picked her up piggyback style and made his way outside leaving his payment on the counter. Half way back to the base she must have passed out as she dug her face into the crook of his neck. Fidelis was also a tad bit drunk so he didn't really care. Once they arrived at the base Fidelis realized. "Shit, I don't know where her room is."

Deciding to simply take her back to his room he made his way there. As he kicked open his door he felt Neo stir a little and lift her head up. She hopped off his back and kicked off her boots before jumping onto his bed. He didn't mind letting her take the bed while he crashed on the floor for the night. He reached over her to grab one of the pillows only for her to grab a hold of his refused to release it and rolled over pulling him onto the bed. Fidelis was both to drunk and to tired to care so he just said. "Fuck it." And laid down next to her and passed out with her snuggling into his arm.

Whoo another chapter down. Next chapter were going back to the ACTION so don't worry. Anyway leave a review and tell me what you think. LATER.
