Superstar Stadium Special: Peach vs. Daisy
The lights turn on for the fourth time as the stadium roared with big cheers. Then Matt came in and said, "Hello, Mushroom Kingdom! Thank you for joining us once again here in this stadium known as the Superstar Stadium! Today, we have a real treat for you! It is princess versus princess and before we bring out the ladies, let's meet the judges! First up, Rawk Hawk!"
Rawk came in to the stadium as the crowd cheered for him.
"Next up, we have Ludwig von Koopa!"
Then Ludwig came in as he sat down next to Rawk Hawk.
"Third, we have Dragon Puncher!"
Then Dragon came in as he took a bow.
"Also joining us today is Toad!"
Then Toad came in and sat down next to Dragon.
"Our fifth judge is also here and he is Bowser Jr."
Bowser Jr. came in to the stadium by spinning in his shell and sat down next to Toad.
"And now, we present to you our sixth judge! Here comes the Mushroom Kingdom's famous warrior, Mario!"
Just then, Mario came in and took in the cheers of the crowd as he sat down next to Junior.
"And finally, we have the Green Thunder, Luigi!"
Then Luigi came in and sat down next to Mario as the crowd cheered for him. Matt came to the Mario Brothers and said, "Welcome aboard, guys!"
"Thank you for having us on this amazing day. We are definitely looking forward to this battle of the princesses." Mario replied.
"That's right, Bro." Luigi added, "This is going to be a great match for us to see and I'm so glad to be here with my favorite brother."
Matt agreed with them and said, "Alright, then! Now that we have our judges, let's bring out... THE PRINCESSES!"
Just then, the stadium roared with approval as the spotlight shined on the red door. Matt said, "First up, we have the beautiful princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. She is a fighter in various tournaments and a professional athlete in sporting events. Ladies and gentlemen, here she is! The princess of the Mushroom Kingdom... PEACH!"
Just then, Peach entered the stadium in her pink sporting gear as she took a bow to the cheering crowd. Then she came to Matt and said, "Thank you for having me, Matt! It's a real honor to be fighting in this stadium and I like it!"
Matt agreed with her and said, "That is what I like to hear about, Peach! Good luck out there!"
"Thank you!" Peach said with a smile as the spotlight shined on the blue door.
"Now, let's meet our second combatant of the day! She is the princess of Sarasaland and a professional athlete in sporting events. Ladies and gentlemen, please give it up for the Sarasaland princess... DAISY!"
Just then, Daisy entered the stadium in her yellow sporting gear as smiled to the cheering crowd. Then she said, "Great to be here, Matt! I love a friendly showdown and after all, this is the Superstar Stadium so, let's have a great battle!"
Matt agreed with her and said, "That is some true words from Daisy! Now in our last episode, Dragon Puncher became the referee for this brotherly showdown between Mario and Luigi. So today, we're going to let Toad do it for this battle of the princesses!"
Toad smiled and said to Matt, "You want me to be the referee? I'll do it!"
"Very well, then! Toad, head on over to the referee stand!"
Just then, Toad came out of the judge's table and walked on over to the referee stand. Then Matt said, "Alright, then! Now that everything is out of the way, are you ready for the battle of the princesses?"
The stadium roared with approval as Matt said, "OK! Toad, it's all yours!"
"Thank you, Matt!" Toad replied with a smile as the lights dimmed. Then he said, "Alright ladies, you know how this battle works! Fight as much as you can until the final buzzer. If you're knocked out, then the Knockdown Timer will do the rest! Now before we get started, one of our viewers sent in a time limit bonus for this battle!"
Just then, the timer shows ten minutes as Peach said, "Cool! So that means we're going to get more fighting time?"
"That's right, Peach! For this battle, you're getting..." The time limit begins to increase. "TWENTY MINUTES!" And on cue, the timer stopped at that amount.
Daisy saw it all and said, "Wow! That means we'll fight twice as long!"
"You got it, Daisy! The time limit is now doubled for this battle." Toad said with a smile, "Well, this is it! The moment you hear the buzzer, then you'll start fighting. So Peach and Daisy, are you ready to begin?"
"Yes!" The princesses replied at the same time.
Toad agreed with their decision and said, "Alright then, here we go! Lights!"
The lights dimmed even further and Toad said, "Thank you! Ladies, take a deep breath because the fourth battle of Superstar Stadium begins... NOW!"
With the word shouted, the electronic voice began to speak.
"The game begins, in 3..."
"2..."
"1..." Both ladies took their stances and then...
The buzzer went off.
BEEP!
"And here we go! The first ever princess versus princess battle is now underway! This is going to be a good one, folks!" Toad announced as Peach started the battle with a punch on Daisy's face.
So far, both fighters are evenly matched as they kept on punching and kicking for the first half of the battle.
"Ten minutes, ladies! Keep it up!" Toad announced as the timer passed the ten minute mark.
Then came the second half as Peach used her parasol to attack Daisy. Daisy saw it coming and said, "Flower Hurricane!"
Just then, a hurricane of flowers came in and attacked Peach very well. The crowd loved it so much, they started to cheer for them as the battle enters its final stage.
After spending nine more minutes of battling, the ring of light with sixty sections came in, signaling the final minute of the match as the first section turned red. Toad saw it all and said, "And there's the ring of light, ladies and gentlemen! We're down to sixty seconds!"
Both ladies fought very hard and decided to finish it off with one more attack: the Final Strike!
"Peach Heart Blast..." Peach announced as she charged up a pink beam of light.
"Daisy Flower Blast..." Daisy said as she charged up a yellow beam of light.
"Thirty seconds left!" The voice announced as half of the sections turn red, signifying the amount of time remaining.
Both ladies kept on charging as the timer ticked down to the final fifteen seconds.
When everything is all set, they let out a shout...
"FINAL STRIKE!"
With the words shouted, both ladies released their Final Strike from their hands, heading straight at each other. It all comes down to this, the final countdown to the buzzer is now underway with the stadium chanting the final seconds of the match.
"10, 9, 8..."
As the strike continued on, there is no telling who will take the final blow as the timer keeps on ticking.
"7, 6, 5, 4..."
Both ladies held their breath and waited for the big finish as the final three seconds came off on the clock.
"3, 2, 1..."
Both ladies braced themselves for the Final Strike and then...
BOOM!
BEEP!
It's a direct hit! The arena is covered with pink and yellow smoke just as the final buzzer went off.
"And there it is! The Final Strike of the match, and right on the final buzzer! Let's take a look at the damage!" Toad announced to the crowd.
When the smoke cleared, it shows both fighters laying down on the floor. Toad saw it and said, "It looks like both fighters are down! That means it's time to start..."
"WAIT!" Dragon Puncher said from the judges table, "Look!"
Everyone turned to Peach, who just came up from the Final Strike and is still standing.
Toad smiled and said, "Wow! Peach has recovered from the Final Strike and that means, we have a winner! But to make it official, let's bring in the Knockdown Timer!"
Just then, the Knockdown Timer came up on the screen as Toad said, "Alright then, the Knockdown Timer is now ready to go! Remember, if a fighter won't stand up after ten seconds, then it's all over. So without further ado, here we go! Knockdown Timer! Ready... GO!"
With the word shouted, the timer started to count up with the stadium chanting.
"1, 2, 3..."
Daisy tried her best to stand up as the timer continued on.
"4, 5, 6, 7..."
Only three seconds separates her from the buzzer as Daisy kept on trying.
"8. 9..."
Only one second left until the buzzer and Daisy has one more chance to get up. She tried once more and then...
Daisy fell down for the last time. It's a knockout!
"10!"
BEEP!
The buzzer on the Knockout Timer went off, signaling the official knockout of the match.
Toad heard it and said, "And there's the buzzer! Daisy has officially been knocked out which means, the winner of this battle is... PEACH!"
Just then, the stadium roared with applause as Toad held up Peach's arm, signaling her official victory! Everyone cheered for Peach as Toad hugged her. He said, "Congratulations, Peach! You did a great job out there!"
"Thank you, Toad!" Peach replied with a smile as she took in the crowd's cheer. Daisy stood up from the knockout and said, "Great fight, Peach! You do deserve this victory!"
"Same to you, Daisy!" Peach said as both princesses hug each other for a great match.
Then Matt said, "Well, there you have it! Peach won the battle by a knockout! Dragon, what did you say about this battle of the princesses?"
"It was fantastic!" Dragon replied, "I love this match and that final strike at the buzzer is epic! Well done!"
"Mario?"
"Fantastico! I love this match and I can't believe that this is the best match we have ever seen so far! Great job!" Mario said.
"And to wrap this up, let's go to Bowser Junior. Jr. what is your comment on this battle?"
"Beautiful! This is definitely one of my favorite matches! I especially love the final strike at the end. It was a beam of pink and yellow light and when the final buzzer goes off... BOOM! Direct hit!" Jr. said with a smile.
Everyone agreed with Jr. as the crowd cheered once again. Then Matt said, "Thank you for those amazing comments, judges! Well, I guess we're almost out of time for today, folks!"
"That's right, Matt! I had a great time being the referee for this showdown and I'm so glad to be here for three episodes so, thank you Superstar Stadium!" Toad said as the crowd cheered for him.
Matt agreed with him and said, "Thank you for being a great judge and we'll see you again soon. Later, Toad!"
"Bye, Matt!" Toad said as he left the stadium with Peach and Daisy.
Then Matt said, "OK guys, we have twenty seconds left until the end of the show so, any final thoughts on this battle?"
"I'll make it quick! It's fun and the way these two ladies fight is fantastic. That is what Superstar Stadium is all about!" Rawk Hawk replied.
"Thanks for this quick thought, Rawk. Well, that's our show for today! We'll see you next time, everyone! Bye-bye!" Matt said as the judges waved goodbye.
