Ready to Rumble Special: Mario vs. Luigi
It's a beautiful day at the Glitz Pit where today marks a very special day. Today, Mario and Luigi will be fighting against each other in a special brotherly rematch. The crowd was so excited for this amazing match as they cheered very loudly. Then Lakitu came in and said, "Good afternoon, everyone! Today is a very special day here as the Glitz Pit proudly presents a special match between two brothers!"
As Lakitu heard this, the crowd cheered very loudly. Then he said, "That's right, folks! It is brother versus brother in a battle to the finish and before we do that, we have a very special guest who will be joining us today to give us the official introduction! He is known as the legendary ring announcer with his catchphrase 'Let's get ready to rumble!'. He is the man with all of the excitement and today, he is here in the Mushroom Kingdom for the first time ever! Ladies and gentlemen, please give it up for the boxing announcer... MICHAEL BUFFER!"
Just then, the red door opened up and in steps the ring announcer with the crowd cheering for him. He smiled to the crowd and took a bow as the crowd cheered once again. Then Lakitu came to him and said, "Welcome to the Glitz Pit, Mr. Buffer!"
"Thank you for having me, Lakitu!" Michael replied as he shook his hand, "It's a real honor to be here and I'm so glad to see all of the fans cheering for me. This is going to be an exciting battle as two brothers go head to head and I like it!"
Lakitu agreed with him and said, "I see. So, why did you came up with the catchphrase let's get ready to rumble?"
"Well, I came up with this because it matches the main event and I first said it in 1984." Michael replied, "So, I decided to try it out in the first boxing match and I said this phrase ever since."
Lakitu smiled and said, "That's a great story! So, it looks like we're all set to go and Michael, because you said the catchphrase for thirty years, you will have the grand honor of saying it right here for the first time ever!"
"Wow!" Michael said with a smile, "You want me to say it?"
"Of course! The crowd wants you to do it so, are you ready?"
"Ready as I'll ever be! Lakitu, hand me the mic because it's time for the main event!" Michael said with a thumbs up.
Lakitu agreed with him as he passed the mic to Mr. Buffer. Then Lakitu said, "And now, here to give us the official introduction to this brotherly showdown is our special guest! The boxing announcer... MICHAEL BUFFER!"
Michael took in the crowd's cheer as he took a bow. Then he said, "Thank you for that amazing introduction! Ladies and gentlemen! From the Glitz Pit in Glitzville, a very good afternoon! Today, the Glitz Pit proudly presents the main event! An exhibition battle between two brothers from the Mushroom Kingdom with no time limit! Our referee in charge for this afternoon is indeed Lakitu!"
The crowd cheered for him as Lakitu took a bow. Then Michael said, "And now, for the thousands in attendance at the Glitz Pit and for the millions reading from around the globe, this is it! Are you ready for the battle of the brothers?"
The crowd agreed with him as they cheered. Then Michael said, "Alright, then! So without further ado, it is time for me to say the official catchphrase for the first time ever in the Glitz Pit! Ladies and gentlemen... LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!"
And on cue, the crowd crowd roared very loudly as Michael said the phrase for the first time ever. Then he said, "First to enter the ring is the star of every video game. He is the mascot of Nintendo and the protector of the Mushroom Kingdom! Ladies and gentlemen, here he is! The Mushroom Kingdom's warrior... MARIO!"
Just then, Mario entered the arena with e crowd cheering for him. Then Michael said, "And the challenger, also from the Mushroom Kingdom is the brother of the heroic plumber. Here he is, the Green Thunder... LUIGI!"
Then Luigi entered the ring with the crowd cheering for him as took a bow. Then Lakitu came in and said, "Thank you for this amazing introduction, Michael! You did amazing!"
"Anytime, Lakitu! Well, I must go! I have a boxing match to attend and after all, I'm the ring announcer!" Mr. Buffer replied, "Later, guys! Enjoy your match!"
"Take care, Michael and thanks for saying the catchphrase!" Lakitu replied as Michael left with a smile.
Then Lakitu said, "Well then, now that everything's all set, we can now start the match so, shall I blow the whistle to start the match?"
"Go ahead, Lakitu! Blow it!" Mario and Luigi replied as they took their battle stances.
"Alright then, here we go!" Lakitu said aas he blew the whistle, which starts the match.
And so begins another battle for the Mario Bros.
