Alright before we get started I'd like to ask if anyone out their is an artist, if so I'd love to see your take on Fidelis. I need a good pic for this stories cover and the most I can draw is stick figures which is why I'd like to see what you guys think. Fidelis can be doing anything you want in the pic as well as any other characters you want all I ask is we keep this PG-13 and below, so unfortunately nothing X-rated. Now that thats out of the way lets get started. Enjoy.

"Sir you can't sleep here. Your gonna have to find somewhere else." A police officer told Fidelis who was napping on a bench in his street clothes. After getting back from the whole CI ordeal he walked into the base only to be surprised to find Adam already there. After about an hour of explaining where he'd been and what he was doing Adam just called him an idiot and gave him the day off to rest.

He half expected Adam to be angry but it turned out the CI were making it difficult to expand in that area of Mistral by strong arming all the black market weapons dealers into only selling their best merch to them. Now the CI is out of the picture in that region and the Fang is already taking advantage of it. All in all Adam was more happy about them being gone than he was pissed about Fidelis shirking his duties and placing a somewhat newbie in charge of a whole base.

Deciding to go for a walk and relax he went towards the downtown area and decided to catch a few Z's on a bench. "Yeah yeah, Im up. Damn can't a guy enjoy his day off in peace?" He said picking himself up and stretching. Fidelis pulled out his scroll and started to walk away from the cop who was still talking to him though Fidelis hadn't been listening. He checked his inbox to see if he had any new messages, he didn't.

He started thinking about his relationship with Neo as he walked. He'd never been in any kind of romantic relationship before so the feeling he got whenever he saw her was completely new to him. Sure he'd seen women he'd found attractive before though that had just been physical attraction, Neo is the first women he'd ever truly cared about sense his mother was killed. He was confused as to how he should act around her or if anything would change between them now that they were together, with Adam still seething over Blake leaving, the only person he could think of to ask about this was Rideat and he knew his brother would never let him live it down.

"Maybe I should buy her a gift or something for when she gets back." He mumbled to himself as he walked. Suddenly his scroll vibrated showing a new message from Neo. "Speak of the devil." He opened the texted.

'Incoming.'

"What that sup-." There was a huge crash and explosion a few blocks away, he even felt the shockwave as sirens began blaring. Fidelis took off sprinting towards the noise. As he approached he was greeted by a large mob of people running and screaming while being chase by a pack of beowolves. "Oooooh thats what she meant." Fidelis ran towards the people and jumped over the crowd landing just in front of the charging grimm.

Fidelis landed in a crouching position and cocked his right arm back while using his semblance to create a vacuum around his fist before lunging upwards bringing his fist into the chin of the leading Beowulf and released the control over the vacuum causing a small but concentrated blast of air which when combined with the force of the punch completely obliterated the beasts head. Using his momentum he leaped over the dead grimm and fell towards the next. He slammed his fist into the grimms face breaking through its teeth and shoving his arm down its throat before moments later ripping his arm back out and bringing its spine with him.

One of the other grimm swung its claws towards Fidelis but he turned around and caught the attack. "Say uncle when this starts to hurt." Fidelis said as he jumped up and placed his feet on either side of of the creatures shoulder socket and began pulling. After a couple seconds the whole arm came off and the creature howled with pain. "You should have said uncle." He said before using the beasts own severed arm to kill it. Fidelis turned around to see about forty more grimm all glaring and growling at him. Fidelis smiled. "Im waiting." They all charged.

Elsewhere

"Hurry this way!" A young woman shouted as she ran hand in hand with her young son. They were running for their lives from a King Taiju. The woman picked the boy up and ran around a corner only to end up staring at a dead end, she turned around and saw the giant snake not to far away looking down at them.

"Im scared mommy." The little boy said crying and digging his face into his mothers shirt.

The womans face shifted from a look of terror to one of acceptance as she looked down at her child in her arms. In a gentle quiet voice she said. "I know sweety. Just close your eyes and everything will be alright soon." She began humming and stroking the child's hair with tears running down her face. As the grimm lunged towards its prey the woman closed her eyes and awaited her death with her child.

Though it never came. There was a loud crash and a few gun shots, then everything was completely silent. The woman actually thought she might be dead, until she heard the last thing she expected.

The strumming of a guitar.

The woman opened her eyes and saw a man wearing a large hat sitting on top of the corpse of the grimm snake holding a guitar. "I couldn't help but hear the voice of a maiden in trouble." In a blur of movement he was standing in front of her and had one of her hands in his own, he leaned down and kissed it. "Knowing a life was on the line I threw caution to the wind and made haste here. Im only glad I made it in time." He shouted with dramatic gestures.

The woman wasn't completely sure what to make of this scene in front of her. "Thank you so much for saving me and my son. Please could you tell me your name?"

The man whipped around. "I am a seeker of adventure and happiness. Follower of the winds of life and walker of the path of destiny. They call me, ALTO CLEF! Because that is my name." He strummed the guitar again for dramatic effect. The woman honestly was confused at this point but before she could ask anymore questions Claf had scooped her up and began running down the street. "Worry not my lady, I shall take you somewhere safe. A bar named Lombardis is owned by a most honorable man who shall protect any who require it. "I believe this shall be the safest place for you and your child."

And with that Clef took the confused lady to the bar before heading out to find anyone else in need of help.

Elsewhere again

"Gabe on your left." Rideat shouted to his team leader who did a quick flip and threw one of his reaper cards into the chest of a beowulf before setting off the card causing it to explode. "Nice shot!"

Gabriel just smirked and tipped his hat. Gabriel then took out his collapsible staff with one hand and held five more reapers in his other hand as he turned towards another group of grimm. One of the more eager grimm leaped forwards only for its head to explode. Rideat laughed at this and Gabriel turned to look down the street at a building about six blocks back where Iris was lying down on the roof with her sniper pointed at the grimm.

A large flock of juvenile nevermore took notice of the girl who was laying waste to a wave of grimm and dove down towards her. They made it within about five feet of her before a sonic boom exploded in front of the flock killing multiple of the bird grimm instantly and crippling even more. "Sorry but the lady is trying to concentrate. You can play with me though." Nick said now standing next to his partner who never even looked up from her scope. When Iris was shooting she went into a state the Nick affectionately calls her 'Zen Trance' because she is hyper focused, this while allows her to be incredibly accurate also leaves her vulnerable to attack. This is where Nick comes into play, his job is to kill anything that came anywhere near her while in this state.

Rideat stood next to Gabriel and looked up as an entire squadron of Atlisean air ships flew over head and firing upon grimm. "It seems the cavalry has arrived." Gabriel said with a smirk before looking back at the group of grimm before them. "How many are you at now?" He asked his partner.

"Nineteen, you?"

"Twenty two. You want me to slow down a bit?" He laughed causing Rideat to chuckle as well.

"Nah, Im done with my warm up. Let start round two." Rideat then charged the group of monsters.

With Fidelis

Fidelis stood panting lightly as hes had just finished off another wave of grimm, he had obtained multiple cuts and gashes during his fight though nothing to severe. The worst of it was a deep puncture wound on his right shoulder from when an ursa got behind him and sunk its jaws into him. He'd ended up taking more hits that he'd expected though he attributed that to the fact that he was heavily out numbered, unarmed because he left his Gunbai at the base, and couldn't use his semblance as freely as he wished because someone could see it and recognize him.

Fidelis fell to one knee as he tried to catch his breath. Moments later another large sounding grimm came crashing around a corner and was headed towards him, he looked up and saw the biggest king taiju he'd ever seen in his life. "Of for the love of god, can't I have like two minutes here!" He shouted as the creature made to slam its body into the ground where he was standing.

Before he could move to dodge there was a quick flash of light next to him a moments later he was on a roof top looking down at the grimm. He turned around to see Neo standing there smiling. He grabbed her by the arm and pulled her close to him and planted his lips into hers. "Damn I missed you." He said after parting from causing her to smile while also trying to control the slight blush on her face. "So Im guessing this is y'alls doing?" Fidelis said looking out over the city in chaos.

She nodded with a smile which caused him to start laughing. "Nice, I must have kill at least fifty of those damned things. How about you?" He asked and she responded by signing.

'I killed a couple on my way as I was looking for you. Also I need to tell you something important.' She said with her hands going through the motion quickly.

Fidelis got a more serious face. "Whats up?"

'While I was on the train with Roman some of those Beacon students attacked us and forced us to move up our plans. While I was fighting one of them I was able to knock her out, as I was about to finish her off a woman wearing a grimm like mask attacked me from nowhere. I still dont know how she got on the train. She was using a dangerous looking blade. Something about her told me to run so I did, I fear she could pose a problem in the future.' She explained with her hands as Fidelis watched.

Fidelis sighed and scratched the back of his head. "Was she wearing red and have long black hair?" He asked causing a shocked look to appear on Neo's face.

'You know who she is?!' She signed frantically.

He shook his head. "No, I have no clue who she is or what she wants. I've only heard rumors bouncing around the criminal community about a woman matching that description. If what some of the rumors I've heard are true then you made a very good decision getting out of there." He said with a grim look. "Well shit. Come on lets go find Adam, he's probably talking to her Majesty the crown Queen of the kingdom of bitch."

An hour later

"No, but they'll listen to me." Adam said as he approached the group who were talking on the roof.

Fidelis was following just behind Adam with Neo on his arm. "Okay so what do we do from here?" Fidelis asked.

"You'll know what you need to know when you need to know it." Cinder said causing Fidelis who now had on his mask to facepalm.

"And you wonder why your still single." He muttered to himself causing her took get a tick mark on her forehead.

With an angry look she asked Fidelis. "What was that?"

Fidelis acted like he didn't know what she was talking about. "Huh, sorry I don't even remember what I said. I assume it was the usual 'your a bitch' kinda thing. I don't know, I try not to think about you." Adam elbowed him in the ribs while Neo was trying to hide how she was giggling. Mercury was pinching the bridge of his nose and Emerald looked like she was almost as pissed off as Cinder, who looked to be at the edge of a meltdown.

Fidelis was the only person who ever spoke to her like that, instead of showering her with respect out of fear or because she had something they needed. Adam only dealt with her because he found her assistance useful. Fidelis on the other hand wasn't afraid of her at all and she didn't have anything he wanted so he didn't see any point in portending to think of her as anything other than a bitch. "Well if you don't have anything for me to do then Im gonna look into a way of breaking Roman out of jail. And preparing for the tournament."

"And how exactly do you plan on getting into the tourny. Even if nobody knows what you look like their scanners will recognize you aura signature?" Adam asked wondering how his friend was going to pull this off.

"Oh thats an easy one. Remember that favor Ozpin owes me for saving his students, well I had him take care of all that as well as handling my entrance into the tourny. I was texting him earlier before the whole grimm attack thing, which I might add he is pissed about. He says as long as I play by the rules and don't take part in any criminal activity during the event then he'd handle it. You should have heard his voice when he asked me if I knew about this whole thing, good thing no one ever tells me shit." Fidelis explained with a smile while everyone else besides Neo was dumbfounded.

"Since when have you been in direct contact with Ozpin?" Cinder practically growled.

"A couple weeks now, why?" Cinder started to stutter slightly not sure whether to be furious or to use this to her advantage. "Well if you guys don't need me I've got a date with a beautiful to get to." He then put his arm around Neo and they both disappeared in a flash of light.

"I hate that man with every fiber of my soul." Cinder said before turning to walk away.
