Okay so if you guys haven't checked it out yet, I've started a Bloodborne crossover with RWBY. Go check it out, I'm pretty proud. Btw my buddy brought up a terrifying point, what if Neo isn't actually mute and they just haven't given her any lines yet? Well I've decided that if thats the case I'm just gonna say fuck the canon and keep her mute, cuz that one of the big reasons I like Neo so much, it makes her unique. Enjoy.

Kain sat up in his bed and looked over to the alarm clock on his night stand blaring. Normally like any normal teen, he would be pissed at the sound, especially on a Saturday. Today however he was actually kind of excited. The day before after classes at Signal Academy had let out he got a surprise visit from one of the last people he'd expected to see, Ruby Rose.

Even more shocking was that after a few minutes of catching up she actually asked him if he'd go on a date with her the next day. Like every boy in their class, he had found her to be cute, however when he heard she got skipped ahead and got accepted into Beacon he figured his chance of ever seeing her again were slim to none, let alone a chance to ask her out. Normally Kain would be suspicious about such a cute girl asking him, a faunus, out on a date, but he knew Ruby was widely considered a very nice girl and doubted she'd do something like that.

After a moment of stretching he got out of bed and made his way to his small apartments showers and quickly got ready for the day. After getting dressed in a pair of baggy jeans, a slightly over sized black T-shirt with the Signal academy emblem on the back and a large white undershirt, he put on his black skating shoes and grabbed his favorite black flat billed hat that had holes in the top for his ears to poke out. On the front of the hat was the word Grimm in white letters. Poking out the back of his pants was a long orange and black striped tail.

He gave himself a once over in the mirror before heading over to his makeshift workbench where he debated whether or not to take his weapons. After thinking about it he remembered how much Ruby loved weapons and grabbed them. They consisted of a pair of large kukiri knives that could shift into a pair of semi automatic handguns that fired dust powered 10mm rounds. Their names were Love and Mercy, which were carved into the handles of the respective weapon. The last thing he grabbed was a dagger that he had never named.

He looked at the blade that was left to him by the man who killed his father along side a simple note that he had memorized every letter of. He put the dagger into its place strapped to his right leg and headed for the door.

As he walked towards the place he was suppose to meet Ruby at he stopped by a flower vendor and picked up a small bouquet of roses, he figured thats what a guy is suppose to do when going on a date with a girl. As he approached the main gate of Signal Academy he saw his date talking into her scroll, he didn't want to interrupt her conversation so he just walked up behind her. "Okay we'll be there in a few hours. Bye." He heard her say into the scroll.

"Hey." He said causing her to jump and let out a squeak.

"Kain! You scared me." She said trying to lower her heart rate which he found funny.

"Here I got you these." He said handing her the roses. "I've never actually gone on a date before, so I'm kind of just making this up as I go." He said smiling while scratching the back of his head.

Ruby looked surprised at the flowers, she'd never had a boy give her flowers before. "Thank Kain, I love them." She said putting on a bit of a sad smile. She hated lying to him like this, Kain was a really nice guy and the thought of toying with his feelings was painful for her, even if she knew it was important. "So what do you want to do today?" She asked trying to not think about it.

"Well I figured we'd get some lunch, hit up a movie, and check out that weapons shop run by the Nova family. I heard the got a new shipment from Vacuo." Ruby smiled and nodded as she began to follow him down the street.

With Fidelis

"Okay we'll be there in a few hours. Bye." Ruby said before the call ended. Fidelis slipped his scroll into his pocket and fell onto his side on the couch in the back of Juniors club. His head landed on top of Neo's lap where he let out a long groan, Neo just smiled at this and began running her finger through his hair and scratching just behind his dingo ears, causing his leg to begin to kick ever so slightly. She found this to be absolutely hilarious and adorable.

"Why the hell am I doing this again?" Fidelis asked himself as he turned and looked at his girlfriends multi colored eyes. "What the hell am I suppose to say 'hey, sorry you watched me kill your dad, wanna add me on Grimm wars?' Neo I'm honestly not sure what the hell I'm even hoping will happen here." Neo just gave him another smile before moving into a position where she was laying next to him on the couch with her head on his chest.

Fidelis just sighed and pulled her closer, everything always felt better when he had her near him. He had never truly felt the way he did now for anyone he'd ever met before her. He loved everything about her, from her slight ice cream flavored scent to the way she raises her eyebrow at him him he says something stupid.

Neo on the other hand just plain felt safe and loved when she was with him. She had spent most of her life either alone or ridiculed for her inability to speak, however Fidelis from the very beginning made it clear that he could careless whether or not she could speak. She knew that neither of them had ever really had a chance to experience much love in their lives, but now that they had found each other she knew that she wouldn't allow anything to take it away, even if everything under heaven stood against them.

"I love you Neo." He said quietly as they laid there. Her only response was to lean further in and place a kiss on his cheek before nuzzling her face into his neck.

Hours later

Ruby and Kain had just exited the theater as the sun began to set. Ruby was unknowingly latched onto Cains arm as they talked about the movie they had just seen.

"While I will say that a four hour run time is a bit excessive, I will say it was pretty awesome. My favorite part was without a doubt when Asura saw that girl die and destroyed all those ships out of rage." Kain smiled thinking about the six armed demi-god.

"I like when Augus drew his sword and used it to pierce through the entire planet." Kain laughed at the girl happily.

"Of course you'd like the part with a magic weapon." He chuckled causing the girl to hit his shoulder playfully.

Ruby was actually surprised at how much fun she had today with Kain. She had know idea he was such a nice guy. He was funny, polite, thoughtful, and she could tell he was extremely genuine. Honestly she kind of hoped that this wouldn't be their last date, but she knew that he would probably hate her by the end of the night. Her smile dropped slightly at the thought. "Hey Kain, theres somewhere I need you to go with me." She said not looking directly at him out of guilt.

"Sure, where's it going down?" He asked in a more neutral voice.

"Going down?" She asked confused.

"Ruby, a beautiful girl like you doesn't just ask a faunus guy like me who you not only don't know very well, but also don't even have much if any contact with, on a date out of the blue. The only reason would be if this was some kind of prank or if you had an ulterior motive." He explained this making the girls eyes widened slightly before a look of shame guilt came over her. "You've also had a look like you were hiding something all day."

Ruby was quiet for a second as she let go of his arm. "If you've known this whole time, why have you treated me so well?"

Kain laughed a little. "Because I can tell your not the kind of girl that would do this kind of thing without either a good reason or somebody is making you. Regardless of the reason, the least I can do is show you a good time before whatever is planned to happen happens." At this point Kain had noticed Ruby had started shaking slightly and took a step forward to see her crying.

"I'm sorry for lying, and I know it's not my business, but I felt you needed to talk to him." Ruby turned around and buried her face in his shirt. "Kain, I've had a great time today and even though I know it probably won't happen after tonight, I hope we can do this again." She choked all this out between sobs.

"Ruby." He said placing his hand on top of her head and made her look up at him. "I don't blame you for whatever is about to happen or whoever wants to talk to me. And I would love to take you on another date some time without the awkward pretenses." They stood there in front of the theater ignoring any strange looks they got for a few minutes as Ruby cried into his chest until she calmed down a bit.

After she pulled herself together she took a step back and wiped her eyes. "How are you still single?" She and in a lighter tone. This made him laugh.

"One of life's great mysteries." He said with a grin. "So where are we going?"

Ruby pulled out her scroll. "It's an old closed down apartment complex, we meet him on the roof."

"Who am I meeting?" He asked.

"I'm not allowed to say, but know that if for some reason this turns bad." Ruby then whipped out Crescent Rose and cocked it. "I've got your back." Kain smiled again before allowing her to lead the way.

The walk to the building wasn't long but Kain took the chance to check his weapons and make sure they were ready just in case. They entered the building and began making their way up the stairs, they were mostly silent until they reached the door that lead to the roof. "Kain, please. He not all bad so here what he has to say alright? Please?" Ruby said placing her hand on the handle. Kain nodded and she opened the door to the roof where a figure stood veiled in the shadows cast by the nearby billboard.

"It's been awhile kid." A demonic sounding voice said as the figure stepped into the moon light. "You look like you've grown strong."

Kain's hand moved towards his knife as he looked at the man who killed his father. He was close to drawing it when he felt Ruby's hand on his. "What do you want?" Kain asked through his teeth as he scanned the area for anyone else and saw another figure standing a bit behind Fidelis in the shadows, thanks to his night vision though he could see it was a short girl with an umbrella. Kain took a step to the side so he was standing in front of Ruby.

"Honestly, I've been sitting up here for about two hours now trying to figure that out myself but haven't really come up with anything. The only thing that I could think of was to tell you I'm sorry that you got mixed up in something that you had no place in." Fidelis said in his filtered voice, though you could tell he meant it. "I also figured that now that your older, you deserve the chance to ask what ever questions you want. So go ahead." Fidelis raised his hands to his mask and decompressed it before taking it off and clipping it to his waist. "Ask away."

Kain didn't really know what to think. "Why?"

"Because, your father made me into the monster that I am today. He was a terrible man that took any chance I ever had for a normal life away and forced me into years pain and hate." Fidelis explained all this in a very even tone lacking almost any emotion. "I will never apologize for killing your father, he deserved every moment of agony he felt before he died. But you should never have been brought into the mix."

"For years I've received money and opportunities, like an acceptance into Signal academy from a 'distant relative' or 'inheritance'." Kain said more as a statement than anything.

"Me, I did all that."

Kain took a deep breath before looking at Ruby who just gave his hand a squeeze. Kain looked back to Fidelis, he began walking towards the dingo faunus. He cocked his arm back and threw his hardest punch that land square in Fidelis's face causing him to stagger backwards holding his face, Kain could tell Fidelis didn't use any aura to defend himself or lessen the blow.

Kain saw the girl in the shadows move to raise her umbrella but stopped when Fidelis raised his hand. "Go ahead kid, let it all out. I won't fight back, this is your right." Fidelis said standing straight up again and removing his hand from his now bloody nose. Kain readied himself to throw another punch but stopped himself.

After a few moments his hand dropped to his side. "No, I'm not like you, and I'm not like my father." This legitimately surprised Fidelis causing him to lose his calm demeanor and take on one of shock. "My name is Kain Noctus Seji, and I refuse to be another piece in a cycle of pain." Kain looked Fidelis in the eye. "Whats your name?"

Fidelis was quiet for a moment. "Call me Fidelis."

Kain nodded slightly. "Well Fidelis." Kain held out his hand to Fidelis. "I forgive you for what you've caused me, I cannot forgive you for killing my dad, but I forgive you for everything else." Fidelis took Kain's hand is his and gave it a firm shake. "One day when I'm a full fledged Huntsmen, I will fight you and bring you in to face justice for your crimes. I will beat you."

Fidelis couldn't stop the large smile from spreading across his face. "Anytime your ready, just name the place." And with that they released each others hand. Fidelis walked over to Neo who was still in the shadows and took her hand, moments later there was a flash of light and they disappeared. Kain walked over to Ruby.

"Are you okay?" She asked him and was surprised when he pulled her into a hug and began shaking. After a few seconds she returned the embrace.

"Thank you Ruby, thank you for bringing me here." He said trying to hold back his tears. "Thank you."

So this was probably the fluffiest chapter I've ever written, and being the ridiculously manly guy I am it's hard to tell if I did it right. Tell me in the reviews how I did, I really have read every single review I've ever gotten so know that their never ignored. Also I do not own Asura's Wrath or any of its characters. LATER.
