Cinder picked herself up off the ground and glared towards the man standing several feet away from her. "You honestly haven't the slightest clue how good that felt." Fidelis chuckled as he held he gunbai to his side, he looked behind Cinder and smiled under his mask as he saw Emerald and Mercury both running towards the two. "Ah good, your here. Now I don't gotta worry about finding you two later."
"Cinder!" The mint colored hair girl ran to the womans side only to be push aside as she stood up, eye almost literally burning with hate.
"I've been waiting to wipe the concrete with your tight little ass since the second you and your stooges walked into our camp. I've pictured how I would do it over and over in my head, but now that I'm finally here I think it'll be more fun to just wing it." Emerald drew her pistols and aimed while Mercury dropped into a ready position.
Cinder fixed her hair and took a deep breath before looking towards Fidelis with a now more composed look on her face. "Fidelis, do you really believe your strong enough to take on all three of us at once. We beat one of the four Maidens, surely Ozpin filled you in on the four. Even you aren't crazy enough to believe that you can take us on alone." Cinder spoke in her usual seductive tone.
Fidelis laughed loudly at the obvious attempts to coerce him. "Bitch, I think your severely underestimating just how crazy I am. Also, who the hell said I'd be fighting alone?" Fidelis pointed to the air behind where the three were standing. Mercury and Emerald both turned and looked before gasping or staring in awe.
Cinder turned halfway and glanced to where he was pointing and turned back before doing a double take and looking back with mouth agape, in a rare moment of complete shock Cinder dropped all attempts at composure. "Oh shit."
With Neo
"Neo! This place is going to hell!" Roman shouted as a terminal near him exploded sending sparks everywhere. "I've set the core for overload, now get us the hell out of here!"
Neo looked out the main window of the massive ship, Roman ran over to her. "Neo!" She held up four fingers as she grabbed onto Romans arms and watched as the ship was barreling towards the ground just in front of the Beacon tower. Just in front of the tower four figure could be seen, just as Fidelis had planned. Neo lowered one finger, then another. "Neo seriously, we are going to die!" She lowered another finger just as the ship was within spitting distance of the ground and activated her semblance taking her and the red head to the spot just in front of where Fidelis was standing only to grab him and instantly teleport several hundred feet away.
When the ship crashed the core that Roman had overloaded exploded just as it made contact with the base of the tower, the massive building came toppling down on top of the wreckage of the destroyed Atlesian frigate. "YEEEEAH!" Fidelis screamed as he jumped around like a child at Christmas. Grabbing his mask he pulled it off and hooked it onto his belt. "FUCK YES! HAHAHAHAH!" He screamed again before laughing hysterically.
Roman fell back onto his butt while chuckling lightly as if in a daze, this definitely wasn't what he thought he was signing on for when Cinder originally approached him. Neo turned to her boyfriend and jumped into his arms and wrapping her legs around his waist, she then pressed her lips firmly against his which he returned passionately. "Oh my god I love you so fucking much you insane little ice cream obsessed minx." Fidelis whispered as the two parted to breath only to continued their kiss moments later.
"I really hate to break up such a beautiful moment between two psychopaths, but are we sure that killed her?" Roman asked from his spot on the ground.
Fidelis finally put Neo back down with a huge smile on his face. "Dude, we just rammed an exploding airship into her and dropped several jillion tons on metal on top of that. The bitch is dead."
Roman raised an eyebrow. "Really, a jillion?"
"Approximately."
Roman sighed. "Just because you said that I'm gonna put twenty lien on them being alive."
Moments later there was a large blast and some of the wreckage was sent flying allowing a rather banged up and pissed looking Cinder and crew to step out. "Oh for fuck sake." Fidelis groaned as he grabbed his mask and put it back on his face. He then quickly reached into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet. "Here, I hope you choke on it." He growled handing Roman a twenty lien card, Roman grabbed it and slipped it into his pocket. "Okay Neo my love, you take Mint Chocolate, I'll take her royal cuntness, and Roman you take Sasuke."
"What?" Roman asked confused.
"I said you take little Tinktink. And break."
Elsewhere
Joel rolled away from another swing from Adam who quickly blocked an attack by Plaga. Adam jumped back and fired several shots at Plaga who blocked each before chucking his blade at Joel and rushed Adam while grabbing another one of his blades that were lying around. Joel knew better than to block one of Plaga's blades and chose to get out of it's way before it blew up.
The blast knocked him off his baring for several moments leaving him with only just enough time to raise his weapon and block Adam's blade from taking his head, giving a quick surge of electricity into his palm and a quick thrust striking the faunus's chest was more than enough to stagger him. Instead of following up Joel thrust his weapon towards the advancing Plaga who had begun to slowly flood the area with the smoke his semblance created, Joel was all to aware of how dangerous it was.
The three men continued their seemingly never ending dance of sparks and bloodlust, it wasn't until a massive crash followed by an explosion that shook the entire academy that they paused in their battle. Joel and Adam both spared a quick glance out the mess hall window only to catch site of Beacon tower falling. Adam and Joel looked at each other in a rare moment of understanding as they both understood the situation.
"Dammit Fidelis."
"Dammit Fidelis."
With that the three reengaged.
With Rideat
Rideat grabbed another grimm by the face with his prosthetic and quickly crush it killing the creature instantly, he turned back to the bullheads that were currently loading people for evacuation. "Yo Rid!" He heard someone call to him, he looked with his semblance and saw Nick leaning on Iris as they made their way towards the ramp to board the ships. Nick still looked rather beaten up from their match with Fidelis the other day, it made sense seeing as he took a full power blast of air head on, plus he didn't have the luxury of being a faunus at the moment.
One of the advantages to being a faunus was that they were generally quicker to recover than humans, not by a huge margin but definitely noticeable. "Hey, it's good to see you two made it out of the hospital in one piece."
Iris reloaded another clip into her rifle. "We would have been here sooner but we decided to assist in holding off the grimm while the more critical patients were evacuated. That why we're among the last ones out." She explained before she fired off several rounds that each hit their mark on multiple griffins flying a few hundred feet away.
Rideat nodded. "Have either of you heard from Gabe?"
Nick laughed. "Yeah, I called him up when the shit hit the fan. That bastard was in town with one of the girls from that all girl team from Shade when everything went down, now he's helping with grimm extermination in the city with his date. My guess is he's probably enjoying himself right now." Nick explained earning a smile from Rideat.
"That's our fearless leader for you." He joked.
"Help!" He heard a familiar voice cry, he refocused his semblance and found Blake and Yang. Blake's aura looked fine, Yang's however was at a critically low point, he also couldn't help but notice something all to familiar to him about her, she was missing her arm. Rideat ran over towards the two and quickly grabbed Yang.
He placed his flesh on the new stump which was cover by a wet cloth tied around it, he watched her aura weakly work it's way through her body as he continued to feel warm liquid leaking through the cloth. "Her aura isn't going to stop the bleeding in time, Blake, Nick, Iris I'm gonna need you three to hold her still." He explained as he adjusted his metal arm.
"What are you gonna do?" Blake asked sounding worried for her partner.
"I'm gonna stop the bleeding by cauterizing the wound, it's gonna hurt beyond belief and she's most likely gonna wake up then pass out again after a few seconds." Rideat reached into his pocket and pulled out a knife with a leather handle, he quickly shoved the handle into Yang's mouth to keep her from biting her tongue, the three all took their positions around her holding her in place. Rideat activated the red dust in the chamber in his palm before taking a deep breath. After a few second he released a small but intense stream of fire out of the chamber onto the wound causing the blonde girls eyes to shoot open and her body to start flailing as she screamed frantically. Her agony filled cries were muffled slightly by the knife handle in her mouth.
Just as Rideat had said Yang passed out after several seconds of her flailing and everybody holding her down, Rideat continued the stream of heat for a few more seconds until he was confident he got the whole wound. "How is it, did I miss anywhere?" He asked not being able to see for himself.
"It looks good." Iris answered.
"Is that Yang?" They turned to find a limping Kain moving towards them. "Oh shit." He whispered to himself as he saw her arm and quickly ran over to her, he didn't really know Yang very well and hadn't spent to much time with the blonde but she was Ruby's sister and that was enough for him to be worried about her. He fell to one knee next to her and placed a hand on her cheek. "Her aura is way to low." Because of his ability to drain aura, Kain had always found it easy to feel and measure another persons aura whenever they were in direct contact.
"We're aware." Rideat told the boy before noticing something odd, he could see aura moving through Kain's hands into Yang, merging with her aura. "What are you doing?"
Kain wiped a bit of sweat off his forehead. "I'm reversing my semblance, instead of draining her aura I'm giving her my own aura to assist her body with beginning the healing process."
"Kid, your already low yourself, she's no longer in life threatening danger." Nick put his hand on Kain's shoulder.
Kain shook his head. "I don't have enough aura to fight regardless, I might as well give what I do have to her. She needs it way more than I do." He explained while continuing to literally pour his soul into the unconscious blonde.
Nick looked over to Iris who had once again taken up guard against any grimm that may try to attack the bullheads and injured. After a moment he let out a sigh. "You gotta point." He admitted. "Kid, start draining my aura into yourself and start giving it to Yang as well, I'm to injured to fight so I think I'll follow your lead." Kain was surprised for a moment before nodding and quickly began drain his aura.
Everyone's attention was soon caught by the sound of a massive explosion followed by the view of the Beacon clock tower falling to the ground. "That sounded bad." Rideat spoke being the only one not staring in awe do to his inability to see what happened.
"What happened?" Iris asked breathlessly.
"I don't know, but I got a gut feeling my brothers involved." Rideat let out a tired sigh. "Come on, lets get everyone out of here."
With Jin
"This is the most horrifying thing I've ever done in my life and I fucking love it!" Jin screamed from inside the cockpit of the paladin Fidelis stole from the Chaos Insurgency. He was barreling down the street with the pair of chainsaw that were extended from the arms of the mech held out, cutting through any grimm that got into it's way.
Jin turned a corner and nearly ran into a pack of ursa, there was a brief moment of silence between him and the beasts before they charge and he raised the Gatling gun within the right arm and opened fire. "Is this what Captain Fidelis feels like all the time? Cuz this is amazing!" He shouted happily as he mowed down at least a dozen of the bearlike monsters.
"Watch it!" He heard shouted from nearby and quickly turned to see a griffin diving towards him. In a blur something struck the beast in the face and explode causing the creature to loose control and crash into the street. Before it could get back up a girl in green jumped from the roof of a nearby build and stabbed the beast through the neck killing it. "Nice." He heard the voice again and looked up to the building the girl had jumped from to see a boy in a cow boy hat shuffling a deck of cards. "Good kill Dew, yo robo guy, watch your back more."
Jin laughed before waving with one of the mechs arms and quickly speeding away to help kill more grimm. "I wonder if this think has a speaker system."
With Fidelis
Fidelis blocked a stream of fire Cinder released from her hand with his fan before stepping forward further into the stream, Cinder increased the force behind the attack to stop his advance but found he was still moving. Cutting the stream she jumped back and formed her bowblades in her hands and combined them, sending a volley of arrows forwards the faunus as she backed up.
"Come on Fall, fight me like a man... or woman. I don't care which just fight me!" Fidelis shouted as he sprinted towards the woman swatting away each arrow she sent. Jumping into the air Fidelis used his semblance to launch himself towards her, bringing his fan down in a powerful swing as he fell towards her. Pumping a large amount of aura into her arms Cinder raised her blades and blocked the attack, the blow forced her to her knees in the process but she managed to hold the attack off. "You know, I could make a joke about you being on your knees in front of me, but that'd be to easy... kinda like you."
Cinder's eye flared with fire as she pushed Fidelis away from her sending a wave of fire along with him. "What made you decide to help Ozpin? You are the last person I ever thought would conform to their goody goody ways. After all this time, why choose to do this now?!" Cinder screamed with clear rage in her voice. "Did you finally grow a conscious, did Ozpin give you one of his speeches? TELL ME!" Fire began raising from all over her body as if reacting to her anger. "You White Fang want equality don't you?! To be treated like everybody else, I can give that to you! I will use the power I seek to change everything! This world is rotten to the core, look no further than the grimm for evidence. I will change this world into a place where everyone can live in peace and safety, young and old, human and faunus! SO WHY!" She screamed at the top of her lungs at the masked warrior.
Fidelis stood quietly for several seconds. "You really don't get me at all do you Cinder?" He rested his fan on his shoulder as he started walking forward. "I don't care about equality, I don't care about safety and peace, I don't care about humans or faunus, and I don't care about good or evil. I'm not fighting you right now because Ozpin asked for my help, I'm here for a very simple reason. You need to die." He growled as he continued walking towards her. "For better or for worse, for good or evil, my entire soul is telling me that you have no place on the planet, you need to be erased." He stopped and pointed his fan at her. "Now stand up, I want this to be a fight I'll remember."
And there goes another chapter, next chapter will have the fight you've all been waiting for. Fidelis vs Cinder, for real this time. Sorry it took so long to get this one out by the way but I've been very busy with life and shit so yeah. At least you guys had Vance to keep you entertained with his two stories, if you haven't already read those I highly recommend that you give them a read.
