Guess what? It's Monday again and I have another story ready for you! This time a request from Rascalblack12, who requested a story in which something bad happened to Raph while Leo comforts him. I really hope this is something you expected :).

Please, enjoy!

"Come on, Fearless! Yer betta than that!" Raph called with a smirk, making a sharp turn and ran into a nearby tunnel. He heard Leo huff behind him, which brightened his grin even more.

"You're the one who keeps cutting me off!" Leo yelled in response, trying not to sound too amused. Raph snickered. "Too bad, bro. Betta step up yer game."

Leo's eyes narrowed. "Yeah, let's step up," he mumbled, as he pushed his feet off the ground in the direction of one of the walls. There he pushed off again and with a rather impressive flip, he landed in front of Raph, where he kept on running like nothing happened.

"What the -?" Taken aback, Raph scowled and he started sprinting so he was in line with his older brother again, who smirked. Raph grinned and he knew their run had turned into a showoff. "Nice trick, but try this for a -" Suddenly he was cut off by a an enormous rumble and he stopped in his tracks. The ground seem to be vibrating as little chunks of the ceiling fell down.

"What's happening?" Leo yelled over the sound as he looked frantically around. Raph did the same, trying to figure out what was going on. He turned to Leo, who was a couple of feet away. "We need ta get outta here!" At that moment there was an immense crack and he lost his footing as the ground split open. He felt himself falling down and he desperately tried to find something to hold on to, flailing his arms out. He heard Leo yell and he looked up just in time to see a huge lump of ceiling falling into his direction. Before he could react something hard collided with his head and he could vaguely hear his name being screamed before everything went black.

The first thing he became aware of was a sharp pain on the back of his skull. Groaning he tried to move his head, but when a flare of pain shot through his body, he thought otherwise. Trying to block out the pain he suddenly heard a voice through the annoying ringing in his eardrums.

"...aph… ake u…"

Hearing the pleading tone, he groaned again and tried to open his eyes, which was extremely hard to do. It felt like they were glued together or something.

"...me on, Raphael. Please..."

Opening his eyes just a crack, he immediately squinted them shut again when something in his head seem to burst. Not giving up he tried again, this time with more success.

"That's it, Raph. Come on..."

The voice was much clearer now and his vision started to focus. Suddenly he felt a hand on his cheek and then he saw who the hand belonged to. "...Le - o?" he managed to croak out. A relieved smile appeared on Leo's face. "Hi buddy."

"Wha' 'app'nd?" Raph asked drowsily as he took a deep breath. When a fierce pain washed over his body, the breath got stuck in his throat, coming out as a sore moan. A feeling of panic overtook him when his whole body seem to tense up painfully with every respiration. Instinctively he tried to move, but something very heavy held him back viciously, which scared him even more.

"Raph, calm down!" he suddenly heard and he looked at Leo again, his breath coming out as small pants. Leo stared into his eyes. "Calm down, bro. It will be alright. Small breaths." He tried to sound convincing, but he couldn't keep the worry out of his voice. He looked at Raph and saw the fear and confusion in his eyes. It broke his heart to see his normally tough and sturdy brother like this. "That's it, bro. You're doing great."

A few moments went by, the only sound came from Raph's labored breathing and Leo's soothing words. Then Raph grunted and squinted his eyes. "What 'appened?" he asked again, this time a little more clearer. Leo looked at him worriedly. "You don't remember?"

Squinting his eyes, Raph tried to recollect his memories. "We were runnin'," he said slowly. "An' then…" He closed his eyes, feeling extremely tired and sore all of a sudden.

"Raph!" Leo warned and tapped his brother lightly on the cheek. "Hey, Raph, come on! Don and Mikey are on their way, until then I need you to stay awake. Please." He watched with anxious eyes as Raph scrunched up his face in discomfort, but was relieved he didn't fell asleep or unconscious.

"We fell or somethin'…" Raph finished his sentence in a tired breath and he opened his eyes again. Leo sighed worriedly and nodded. "Yeah. The floor collapsed and we fell down two layers. Along with everything that was between. Which kinda fell on top of you..." He trailed off and put a hand on Raph's head, avoiding a large bruise on the side of his head. He wishes he could do more, but all he could do now was wait and look after his brother, who was laying on the cold hard floor with a large block of cement on top of him.

"So that... hurt so bad," Raph breathed, trying to look up. There he saw the large chunk of debris laying on his chest and he understood why it was so hard to breath. Exhausted he layed back his head, closing his eyes again against the pain in his head. "So.. Can't ya move it?" he asked, opening his eyes a crack, looking at Leo. With sad eyes Leo looked back and he shook his head. "I'm sorry, Raph." He sighed. "I wish I could, but I didn't fall gracefully either." He lifted his left arm, which had an awkward angle just near his wrist. "I can't produce so much strength to lift it off you." He stroke his thumb affectionately over Raph's head. "I'm sorry, bro."

"Stop… apologising... already," Raph said gruffly with labored breath. "It's not yer... f-fault fer fallin'." He tried to give cocky smile, but it came out as a painful grimace. Leo chuckled a bit despite their situation. "True, but still I can feel guilty."

"Idiot." Raph tried to shift a bit, but there was no way he could move without pain. "Damn, 't hurts…" he mumbled reluctantly. Leo's eye ridges squinted in worry. When Raph admitted something hurt, he really was hurt. "I know, bro," he sympathized. "Just hold on just a little longer."

"Yeah, sure… Jus' can't wait ta… breath normally," Raph said softly and he closed his eyes again. Leo saw it. "Raph," he warned again. He received a grunt as a reply. "Don't worry… Fearless… I'm jus' r-restin'."

Leo watched him closely with worried eyes. "You'd better be." Swallowing hard he continued to watch over his tough younger brother, coaxing a response from him from time to time. Suddenly his head shot up when he heard some movement above him.

"Leo! Raph!" Don's voice echoed through the area. Leo barked out a relieved laughter and whipped his head up. "We're down here!" he yelled up and suddenly he saw Mikey's head poke out of the enormous hole in the ceiling. His eyes grew wide at the sight of the situation below him. Quickly he recollected himself. "Hold on, guys! We're on our way!" With that he disappeared again, but Leo knew he didn't leave the area. Letting out a breath, he turned to Raph again. "You hear that, bro?" he said to him, shaking him slightly. Raph opened his eyes a crack and a small smile appeared on his face. "...'bout... time," he whispered with shaking breath. Leo gave a compassionate smile. "Just a little longer, bro," he said softly, knowing that rescue was just a few minutes away.

I hope I wasn't too hard on poor Raph, but you know our tough guy... He always bounces back right :).
