Hi there! It's me again with another chapter. This one is a sequel to the previous one, featuring mostly Raph.

I really hope you like it! Please enjoy!

Bedridden

Raph let out an painful grunt as he tried to sit up a little straighter. He scrunched up his face as pain flared through his body, but he kept trying anyway. Finally he sat in the position he wanted and he laid his head back exhausted. An annoyed growl escaped him. He hated feeling so weak, he hated laying in a bed without getting out and he hated getting injured by some stupid accident. It was now three days ago since the sewer tunnel had collapsed and he and Leo had tumbled down. He didn't remember much of it - Heck, he didn't even remember getting home. The only thing he remembered was the relief he had felt when he could breathe somewhat normally again. After that he had passed out.

He sighed and bit back a grunt when his chest seem to burst. "Freakin' ribs," he mumbled. He lifted his sheets and looked at his heavily bandaged torso, which was wound way too tightly for his liking - He couldn't freaking move! Don had told him it were the broken ribs he felt and not the bandage, but Raph didn't really care. All he wanted to move normally on his own and not need help from one of his brothers. Not that he should expect some help anymore... With a guilty expression on his face he looked at the wall opposite of him. The moment he had woken up one and a half days ago he had been nothing more than a bad-tempered and angry jerk. He practically chased them out of his bedroom, yelling at them to leave him alone. Leo had just given him a disagreeable look, before turning around and leaving his room. Don had squinted his eye ridges with disappointment, and told him to call him if anything was wrong. Mikey on the other hand had looked hurt and almost frightened by the way he was acting, but gave in reluctantly to his request anyway. So now he was sitting all alone in his room, feeling terribly guilty. He knew they didn't deserve this, but he couldn't help it. He felt so weak, so goddamn needy and he hated it. He hated it so bad. And when he hated something, all of his emotions came out as anger. He had overheard Don say it had something to do with his concussion, but he knew better - He was just a freaking idiot for chasing his brothers out. The brothers who had taken care of him so greatly. Leo, who didn't leave his side even after he was laying on the cold, hard floor of the sewer tunnels, being hurt himself badly. Don, who immediately went into doctor-mode and took care of his wounds, giving him amazing stuff to help with the pain. And Mikey, who tried his best to make him feel better and made sure he didn't come up short of something. And he just yelled at them…

Frustrated he slammed his hand onto his mattress, the sudden movement causing a wave of pain throughout his body. But he didn't care - He deserved it.

A few minutes went by, until suddenly he heard some movement in the hallway. Footsteps came closer and then he heard some voices.

"Just wait here. I'll check."

"Sure thing, bro. Just hurry up a bit. This thing is huge and kinda hard to hold on to."

"Come on, don't be a baby. You lifted heavier things before."

"Yeah, I lifted you. You can't have it heavier than that."

"Hey! I'm not that heavy!"

"Just saying you're not the lightest here, dude."

"All of this is pure muscle."

"Yeah right, and that double cheese pizza you've been hogging last night. With cake as dessert."

"You were the one insisting we ate that! And by the way… If I can't train, I'll eat."

"That's what all fat people say, bro."

"You're so lucky I have my hand full!"

"Oh no, a serious threat. I'm shaking outta my shell."

"Argh! Jus - Just wait here."

Slowly the bedroom door opened and Leo's head poked around the doorway. "Hey, Raph. You're up?" he whispered. With a crooked smile Raph looked at him. "Yeah."

"Good," Leo answered and he opened the door completely. "Can we come in?" he asked carefully. Raph snorted. "Sure," he said with a soft voice. He watched Leo walk in further, his left arm in a large cast resting in a sling. Raph swallowed hard. "Look, Leo… I -"

Putting down some things to clear his hand, Leo looked at him expectantly.

"I've been actin' like a jerk an' I - Well, ya know…"

"No need for apologies, bro! You're already forgiven anyways," Mikey said as he barged into the room, carrying the biggest flatscreen tv they had in the lair. Leo looked at him with fake disappointment. "Come on, Mike. It would be fun to see him struggling with an apology." He turned his head to Raph and gave a wink, letting him know he didn't mean it.

"That would take hours and my arms don't have so much time. They're kinda getting numb."

"I told you to wait for Donnie," Leo said with a shake of his head. In response Mikey gave him a pout. "That would take hours too and I wanna do this now!" he said resolutely. Raph looked at it with amusement. "So, what's tha deal here?"

"Movie night, bro!" Mikey chirped happily as he put down the tv carefully. Leo shrugged with a grin. "Mike thought since you can't join us in the living room for some fun, we'll take the living room to you."

"Jup! It's all been arranged, bro! Pizza will be delivered at seven, together with some great snacks and stuff. All we need to do now is to mount this thing on your wall." Mike turned to said wall, cocking his head as he tried to visualize how to montage it.

"Guys, I…" Raph sighed, feeling embarrassed by the fact he treated his brothers very badly in the past days. And now they were in his room making him feel better, like he actually wanted them to. Like he needed them to.

"Just stop it, Raph. You think we don't know you well enough?" Leo said to him as he took a step towards the bed. "You're just angry because you're stuck here for a while, feeling like a burden to us. I've been there. Please don't act all macho and pretend you don't need us and you can do it all on your own. You know damn well that's not true."

"Yeah, dude. We also know you didn't mean the things you said. You're just you being you - With an extra layer of frustrated you and a topping of annoyance sprinkles," Mikey chimed in. With a smile, Leo nodded. "Something like that. Just know we're there for you, bro. And that no amount of yelling or loose threats are going to change that."

Raph swallowed, not knowing what to say. Saving him the embarrassment, Leo changed the subject. "Mike, you know the tv has a standard, right. No wall-mounting needed."

Mikey pointed to the wall. "Yeah, but the dresser is way too low. If you lie down you can't see anything."

"Then enhance the height with some books or something."

"Raph doesn't have books high enough." Mikey looked around the room, searching for something to help him out. Suddenly his eyes caught sight of a box. "Sweet." He walked towards it, looking in it, seeing some things he could only describe as junk and turned around again. "You're using this, bro?"

Raph shook his head. "Not at the moment."

"Great!" Emptying the contents in a corner, he took the box to the dresser and turned it over.

"Please tell me you're going to clean that," Leo said, pointing to the mess his little brother made. Mikey looked back and shrugged. "Yeah, yeah. Later." Satisfied with the placement of the box, Mikey walked back to the tv and lifted it. "Crap, I can't see anything… Leo?"

With a chuckle Leo walked towards Mikey and helped him as good as he could to put the tv in place. Taking back a step, Mikey admired their work. "Looking good!" He turned to Raph. "Does it look good for you too?"

Raph cocked his head. "Justa little to tha right an' it's perfect."

Mikey adjusted the tv. "Like this?"

"A little bit more…"

"Like this?"

"Nope, a little bit back."

"Kay."

"Too far."

"Alrigh - " Suddenly Mike realised what his brother was doing and he turned around. "Haha, very funny, shell-for-brains!" he said with a glare. Raph smirked and immediately Mikey smiled back. "Glad you feel better, bro."

"Yeah, thanks," Raph answered. He nodded at the tv. "So, does it work?"

"Only one way to find out," Leo said and he plugged it in. Mikey grabbed the remote and pressed a button. "Let's see if Donnie was honest about the wireless cable." At that moment the tv flicked on and a commercial about shampoo bleared through the room, stunning all three brothers. Quickly Mikey pressed the mute button. "Well, that works," he said innocently.

"Next time lower the volume, goofball," Leo said, smacking Mikey upside the head.

"Hey, that's my thing ta do," Raph complained with a grin. Leo grinned back. "In a week you can leave your bed. Until then you have to wait until he gets close to you."

"Hey! No ganging up on the tv-provider," Mikey whined, rubbing his head. "This will totally cost you remote time." He walked up to Raph's bed and laid down next to him, propping up a pillow behind his head. "Pretty comfy, bro. I can't imagine why you prefer that hammock instead of this. It's freaking kingsized."

Raph chuckled. "I like tha swingin'," he said simply and looked up when Leo started to walk to his desk. "Whatcha doin'?" he asked. Leo looked up. "Grabbing your chair to sit on."

Before Raph could find the words to tell him to join them, Mike cut in. "Come on, Leo! The bed is big enough! Just let go of that big bro pride and lay down!"

Leo straightened his back and looked at the bed doubtfully as Mikey sat up. "Leo…" he said in a playful voice. "Come on, bro. Be fun for just once."

Chuckling Raph nodded. "He's right, ya know."

Leo shrugged. "Alright. If you guys insist." He walked back and laid down on the other side of Raph, being careful with his arm. Sighing contently he made himself comfortable. "This is indeed comfy."

"Told you!" Mikey said as he turned the audio back on gradually, plopping back in the cushions. "So now all we need to do is wait for Donnie to show up."

"What's he doin'?" Raph asked curiously. Leo turned his head to face him. "He's at Leatherhead's to do… something with computers. He said he would be home around six."

"So until then we just chillax," Mikey said, flipping through the channels. A few moments it was quiet and the brothers watched a cooking show, a soap, some commercials, a cartoon, another soap, a documentary and a game show, until Raph couldn't take it anymore. "Gimme that, numbskull!" he said as he snatched the remote out of his brother's hand. He grunted as the sudden movement sent a blaze of pain through his body. Immediately Leo sat up. "Be careful, Raph."

"Yeah, yeah…" His brother grunted as he tried to shift a bit. "I'm fine," he finally said, a weary expression on his face. Leo squinted his eyes in worry. "Are you sure you don't want to go to sleep? It's no problem, we'll wake you when dinner's ready."

"Shell no, Fearless. I c'n sleep all night," Raph gruffly said. "I said I'm fine."

"Alright, if you say so."

"Yeah, I do. And - "

"So, King of the Remote… What are we gonna watch?" Mikey cut in quickly. Raph whipped his head at Mikey and then to the remote in his hand. "I don't care, as long as ya don't keep flippin' throu' tha freakin' channels." He gave the remote back.

"Agreed," Leo added. Mikey smiled, happy he could make his brothers agree on something. "Alright, how 'bout this Japanese game show? Could be fun."

"Tha one wit' tha painful stuff?" Raph asked. Mikey nodded and went to the right channel.

"I'm cool wit' that."

Leo shrugged. "Fine with me."

"Nice! Nothing better than a little bit of other people's pain to begin your day," Mikey said as he nuzzled his back into the pillows. Leo raised his eye ridges. "It's three-thirty, Mike."

"Whatever, bro. You know what I mean."

Raph smiled, leaning back in his pillows, feeling content with his brothers beside him. The brothers who took care of him, even after driving them away. The brothers who forgave him the minute he opened his mouth to yell at them. The brothers who loved him for who he was, and for not the way he acted. Yeah, he was one lucky guy.

A little bit long, but I hope you didn't mind :). Please tell me what you think!

Oh yeah... For the next two weeks I'm on my holiday, without much internet. I'll try to upload something, but I don't think it will work. Until then probably no update. I hope you understand!
