Wordplay Hot Bob-omb

It's a beautiful day at the Mushroom Kingdom where Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi and Dragon Puncher are having fun when suddenly, Peach said, "Hey guys, let's play a new game!"

"Cool!" Dragon Puncher replied, "What's it called?"

"Wordplay Hot Bob-omb!" Mario said with a smile.

"Sounds like fun but, how do you play this game?" Luigi asked.

"It's easy! First, we'll pick a category that is randomly selected from the computer. Then all we have to do is name that item that corresponds to the category. If it is, then you'll have to pass the Bob-omb to the next player." Daisy said.

"I see. Go on." Dragon agreed.

"However, if you take too long in finding that item, then the Bob-omb will explode. When that happens, you'll be out for the rest of game!" Daisy continued.

"What happens when you repeat a word?" Yoshi asked with a smile.

"Then you'll have to pick another one and remember, the Bob-omb has a time limit so do it fast, or you're out. And that's how you play the game!" Daisy said as she finished explaining the rules of the game.

"Wow, that sounds like fun! Count me in!" Mario said with a smile.

"The same goes for all of us!" Luigi replied with a thumbs up.

"Then let's play the game! To the Game Room!" Dragon said as the six people ran to the game room to play their newest game.

When they got there, Dragon said, "Well then, is everyone ready to go?"

"All set!" Everyone replied.

"Great! Then let's get started! Computer, what is our first category for this game?"

The computer agreed with Dragon and said, "First up, Mario Kart Tracks!"

Dragon smiled and said, "OK! Now then, let's bring in the bob-omb."

Just then, a Bob-omb appeared and Dragon said, "Set the Bob-omb for ten seconds!"

Just then, the timer appeared and the computer said, "Guys, one last thing! After ten words, the timer will decrease from ten seconds to seven."

Mario agreed with him and said, "OK! And what happens when we get twenty words?"

"Then it will decrease to five seconds! Alright then, let's get started! Dragon, you're up first! Start the Bob-omb!"

Then the game began as the fuse started to burn. Dragon took a chance and said, "Mario Circuit!"

Then a ding is made as I passed the Bomb to Mario. This is going to be a very long game.

Just then, it was down to just two: Dragon Puncher vs. Mario. Mario looked at me and said, "Well then, this is it! Just you and me now, Dragon!"

"Of course it is!" Dragon replied, "So, let's see which category we'll be facing in the final round, shall we?"

"It would be our pleasure! Computer, what's the category for the final round?"

The computer agreed with them and said, "Mario Enemies!"

Mario agreed with the computer and said, "Fair enough! I'll go first and say Bowser!"

Then Mario passed the Bob-omb to Dragon and said, "Wart!"

Then it's Mario's turn again and decided to go with his next answer. He took his chance and said, "Lakitu!"

Then they kept on going until it's Mario's turn once again. The Bob-omb has only five seconds so Mario has to think before it goes off.

As the fuse burns closer, Mario has nothing left to say. The Bob-omb glowed red and began counting down, "3, 2, 1..."

And then...

BOOM!

The Bob-omb went off on Mario, ending the game.

Dragon smiled and said, "And that's the game!"

Mario came to Dragon and said, "Great game, Dragon! You won fair and square!"

"Thanks, Mario! It was a fantastic game indeed!" Dragon replied as they shook hands for a great match.

Then Luigi, Yoshi, Peach and Daisy came in and shared a group hug with each other. It was a fantastic day!
