Aang stared in despair at the burnt-down forest.

"I should have been here to stop this!" he said.

"Hey," Katara said, "Ready to cheer up?"

"No,"

At that moment, Katara threw an acorn at him.

"OW!" he said, "How was that supposed to cheer me up?!"

"Cheered me up," Sokka said. Katara threw an acorn at him, too. "OW! Okay, you got a point."

Katara walked over to Aang. "This acorn will be the start of a new forest," she knelt down beside him and put the acorn in his hand.

Natasha burst in, saying, "Well, it will take several years for the whole forest to come back."

Katara threw an acorn at her, too.

They came to an Earth Kingdom village.

"Wow," Natasha said, "This place looks kind of sad,"

A man from the village ran up to Aang and said, "Are you the Avatar?"

"Yeah," Aang said, "That's me,"

"Please help us! There's a spirit monster that comes at night, and destroys parts of our village. Some people have even gone missing!"

"That can't be good," Natasha said.

So they stayed in the village, waiting for the so-called "spirit monster" to awaken.

"How are you gonna do it?" Natasha said, "How are you gonna defeat the spirit monster?"

"I don't know… maybe what ever it is I have to do will just… come to me." Aang said. Momo flew onto Aang's shoulder.

"I think you can do it, Aang," Katara said.

Sokka said, "Yeah… We're all gonna get eaten by a spirit monster."

Natasha stared out the window, waiting for Hei Bai (the spirit monster) to appear.

Suddenly, Natasha saw a flash of something. "Guys," she said, "I think I saw it."

Aang ran over to the window and said, "There it is!" He ran outside.

"Aang!" Katara yelled.

Hei Bai began to tear down buildings, and Aang couldn't figure out how to stop him.

Sokka was about to throw his boomerang at it when Natasha said, "Gimme that!" She threw the boomerang at Hei Bai, and then yelled, "Sokka, get back!"

Hei Bai turned and looked at Natasha.

Oh, crud, Natasha thought before Hei Bai grabbed her, ran into the forest, and disappeared into the Spirit World.

I'm in the Spirit World… I'm in the Spirit World… HOLY FRIG I'M IN THE SPIRIT WORLD!

Originally in this episode, Sokka was supposed to be the one taken by Hei Bai. But Natasha put herself in that position.

It is dark… it is dark… I can't see anything…

Suddenly, the darkness started to fade, and she realized where she was.

The Southern AirTemple again? Oh…

It was another flashback. They were inside this time, and Aang looked about two years older.

"Natasha," said an Airbending teacher. "Will you come with me for a minute?"

Aang had been practicing Airbending with Natasha, who was falling behind from the rest of her peers.

"Yeah, sure," Natasha looked at Aang, "I'll be right back, okay?"

"Okay," Aang said.

She was brought into a separate room, and the teacher said, "We're relocating you to the Northern Air Temple."

Natasha remembered feeling angry. "You can't do that! My little brother is here; he's the only family I have!"

"You are aware of Aang's status as the Avatar, correct?"

"How could I not?"

"He needs his focus. You're in the way of his training."

"Then I'll stay out of the way! Please, don't separate me from him completely!" Natasha accidentally broke a vase with her Airbending.

"This is why you're so behind in your training," the Airbending master said, "You can't control your anger."

"I DON'T CARE!" Natasha screamed, using her bending to blow the instructor out of his seat. Natasha ran out of the room and found her Airbending staff. Before anyone could notice her, she flew away from the temple and went far away.

"I can't go back," Natasha said to herself. "I can't…" She landed in the desert and cried herself to sleep.

Suddenly, she was back in the forest. There were other people around her. They were all just as confused as she was.

Natasha stood and began walking back towards the village.

"Natasha!" Katara said.

"Are you okay?" Aang asked.

Natasha saw him and smiled. "I'm fine." She gave Aang a hug.

A/N: So, it looks like Natasha and Aang can no longer be shipped. That's okay. That would've been really weird anyways. But, they don't know Natasha's an Airbender yet! Yeah, it'll probably be a while before they find out. :P
