When Aang returned to the physical world, the group stood around him, confused yet happy.
"What's going on?" he asked, "Why are you all here?"
"Zuko came," Katara said, "He tried to capture you. I tried to fight him off, but I was knocked out. When I woke up I thought you were going to be gone… but you weren't."
Aang cocked his head to the side. "What's that supposed to mean?"
Sokka jumped in. "It means the other Airbender that somehow exists saved your tushie."
Yue looked at Natasha, as if to say, "You gonna tell them now?"
"See, Aang? I told you she'd show up again!" Natasha said. No! That isn't what I was supposed to say!
Aang's face brightened. "That means she's here! She's here in the North Pole!"
Say it, Natasha! Say it!
Natasha heard footsteps coming towards them. It's Zhao.
Admiral Zhao of the Fire Nation came onto the scene, not noticing the rest of them. Natasha tried not to smile. Everyone knows this was supposed to be different, she thought.
"I am… a legend, now!" Zhao held up the bag holding Tui, the moon spirit. He suddenly saw the rest of them, and they all started preparing for a battle.
Yue held her head, as if she was in pain. Aang felt it, too. And strangely enough, so did Natasha. She didn't know why she felt it; she had nothing to do with the spirits!
"Don't bother," Zhao said, lifting up the sack holding Tui, threatening to kill him.
"Zhao, don't!" Aang yelled.
"It's my destiny," he said, "to destroy the moon and the Water Tribe."
"Destroying the moon won't hurt just the Water Tribe," Aang said, "It will hurt everyone, including you! Without the moon, everything will fall out of balance. You have no idea what kind of chaos that will unleash on the world."
"He is right, Zhao," Iroh said as he entered the scene.
"General Iroh, why am I not surprised to discover your treachery?"
"I'm no traitor, Zhao; the Fire Nation needs the moon, too. We all depend on the balance. What ever you do to that spirit I'll unleash on you ten-fold. Let it go, now!"
Admiral Zhao released the fish, just before slicing it with a rage of fire. The moon slowly disappeared, and Iroh attempted to attack Zhao. Zhao defended himself and was able to get away.
"There's no hope now," Yue said, "it's over,"
"No, it's not over," Aang began to enter the Avatar state.
Natasha watched in awe as Aang wiped out the Fire Nation ships while being controlled by the ocean spirit.
"It's too late. It's dead." Katara said, looking down at the dead Tui.
Iroh looked up at Yue. "You have been touched by the moon spirit," he said, "Some of its life is in you."
"Yes, you're right," she said, "It gave me life, maybe I can give it back…"
"No! You don't have to do that!"
"It's my duty, Sokka,"
"I won't let you!" Sokka took her hand, "Your father told me to protect you."
Yue sighed. "I have to do this,"
Yue placed her hands on the fish. The koi fish began to glow as Yue closed her eyes.
"No!" Sokka yelled. "She's gone, she's gone,"
Yue fell into Sokka's arms. Natasha felt a tear rush down her cheek as Yue's body disappeared.
Natasha looked away, trying to keep the others from seeing her tears. Katara noticed her, though, and put her arms around her in an attempt to comfort her.
o.O.o
As they departed the North Pole, Natasha watched from the back of Appa, trying to keep the tears from coming out again.
"Natasha?" Aang said, sitting next to her. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I guess," Natasha sighed. "It's just that…"
"What?"
She sighed again. "Never mind,"
Aang went back to the head of Appa. He took another look at Natasha and something strange happened.
She looked just like his sister.
A/N: Sorry this chapter's a little rushed. I just needed to get to that point at the end. So, yeah. SEASON ONE IS OVER! WOO HOO! If you're still wondering, "When will they find out about Natasha's Airbending?" all I have to say is… soon… ;)
