"If this is a spiritual thing," Aang said, "She might be in the Spirit World right now."

They had been trying to figure out what was happening to Natasha for a couple hours. Aang sat down by Natasha's unconscious body and said, "I'm going in after her."

"Aang," Katara said, "What if she's not there?"

Aang just shook his head. "She is. She has to be…"

"Ugh," Natasha opened her eyes and found herself lying in a puddle of water. "What…?" She sat up, trying to make out what she was seeing. It looked like a forest, with shallow water all around it.

"Where am I?" Natasha said, trying to stand on her feet.

She heard something caw at her. Natasha looked up and saw a strange looking bird.

"This is just… weird…"

She stood up and looked around. She recognized the area from the show.

This is the Spirit World! Natasha realized.

"Hello?" Natasha yelled. "Does… does anyone know how to get me out of here?"

The bird cawed at her again.

"You're helpful," Natasha said sarcastically.

Back in the material world, Aang's tattoos lit up.

"He's in the Spirit World!" Katara said.

o.O.o

"Natasha?" Aang yelled.

"Aang? Is that you?"

Natasha emerged from behind a tree.

"Natasha, how did you get in the Spirit World? How are you even able to get in the Spirit World?"

"I don't know…" Natasha said.

"Something about your headache must have triggered it… whatever it is…"

Natasha said, "So you know how to get out of here?"

"Yeah. Just take my hand…"

"Wait."

Aang looked at her.

"I think the spirits have something to do with how I'm here. I mean, how I lived for a hundred years without aging." Natasha said. "I mean, how else would I even have access to the Spirit World?"

"I think you're onto something." Aang said. "What about that nightmare you had a few days ago?

"I knew it was a dream by how unclear everything was, but the pain felt so real…" Natasha said.

Aang looked around. "What if that dream was a warning?"

"Dreams always mean something, but sometimes it's unclear. Like, I had a dream about flying worms—"

"Okay, okay, but I had a dream of myself in the Avatar State before we met General Fong. That's—"

"Your dream was something from the past." Natasha said. "Mine was something that never happened. At least, not yet…"

"Okay," Aang said, "I think we should head back to the physical world now."

"Okay," Natasha said.

They wandered the streets of Ba Sing Se. Natasha looked around and spotted Jet in the corner.

"How do you even know how to get to Lake Laogai?" Sokka asked.

"I don't," Natasha said. Before anyone could reply, she said, "But I think I know someone who does…"
