I know I said I was going to update this before Christmas but I have my other project for my course due on Tuesday, and I was trying to focus on that. Plus I had parties and dinners to attend to and yesterday was the worst, I may have got a little tipsy and embarrassed myself... Anyway on with the story. If you haven't guessed I'm a Ford nut, and to that person who said I play to much COD, you're probably right. But I know way to much about stuff that is no help to me in life. Also, wow took me long enough, a Cavalcade is a car from GTA... not a Cadillac, oh well...
Previously:
I watched as the woman I love drive off down the road towards the safehouse as we set up a perimeter of what was left of the forces gathered. Yes that's right. I said it, well thought it, and she probably doesn't even like me back due to having lied to her for a good month about my life on the side, then again I don't think it's going to go down well with her and Luke when she finds out who he is. And by the distant look on Nico's face I'm going to say he feels the same way. We were both brought out of our thoughts by a thunderous noise, a charge of Cavalcades, heading straight towards us. I counted at least six and we all open fired on the vehicles. The first one ploughed through the field of cars blocking the road as they rampaged towards us. Nico and I opened up most of our magazines on the windows of the driver and managed to take out the first three before running out of mags. We took out the back up weapons under Nico's seat as they continued their assault. We grabbed two military grade MP5K stashed on the side and under the seat and loaded the weapons. We began to fire upon the next two cars, the wheels, lights, driver side windscreen and dealt with the last one. The car charged past the rest of the blockade and toward the safe house. My eyes widened in shock as Nico and I looked at each other before breaking out into a run towards his bike and a car that will keep up for me.
Percy
I ran into an open door of a car that I thought was abandoned during the fire fight, but then realised it couldn't have been because it had a trident on the steering wheel where the badge should be, along with the smell of the ocean, a salty ocean air smell on a cool summers day, Poseidon's car. I grinned as I situated myself in the Matte Black Mustang Boss 429, keys already in the ignition and on, and put my foot down, chasing after Nico and the Cavalcades. I weaved in and out of traffic as I saw yet another fire fight ahead of me. A good thing about Poseidon's car, its got this amazing built in features that removes the headlights, and out comes two M249 LMG's, constant belt of 5.56×45 mm while the bullets travel at 915 m/s, easily ripping things apart to flesh to metal of cars, which is exactly what it was doing to the Cavalcades. The all wheel drive rear engined Mustang slid around the corner, in the distance Nico's bike was a few feet ahead as I closed the gap and drove side by side. We soon reached the safehouse, throwing open my door I stepped out with my Fathers P90 from under the passenger seat and aimed it at the door way with Nico behind me, as we walked through the wide open door. I was thankful to still have Riptide strapped to my Thigh still, as we cautiously entered the threshold. I looked around at the obvious struggle that occurred here obviously not to long ago, the sight of a lock of blonde curls and a lock of jet black hair lay amongst shattered glass, drops of blood and stuffing from the pillows lay on the floor, the hair standing out like a sore thumb. The door shut behind us and Nico was knocked unconscious with the butt of a Glock 9mm. I was shocked to see who had rendered Nico unconscious and through Riptide at the man, it landing in his gut, and lunged forward at Ethan Nakamura.
We tumbled back through to the garage, smashing open the door on the way through as I grabbed the hilt of the knife and gripped it in a vice grip and pushed deeper into Ethan. Ethan let out a breathless chuckle, "You're too late. They're gone." He spluttered as I pushed deeper.
"Where the fuck have you taken them you Son of a Bitch. Where's Annabeth?!" I spat in his face. He chuckled then winced as I applied pressure.
"Your little girlfriend is long dead by now. You shouldn't have got them involved." He took a raspy breath and exhaled the next words, "Where it all began." I had a mini flash back to my first stake out when I was fifteen, whilst I ripped out the knife from his stomach as he slumped forward and I stepped back and let him drop to the floor. When I came back through the broken door I saw Nico sitting on the floor, wincing as he rubbed the back of his head. His eyes shot up at the little noise I made from the broken glass of the pictures and gun cabinet that had been revealed and relieved of all of its contents. We both looked at the hair on the floor and I gathered we mirrored the same feelings as we stood and Nico's face flashed with a sudden burst of sheer hot anger, his face was red and the vain in his temple flared as he stormed over to his bike.
"Nico, follow me I know where they're being held." I told him as I led him towards the transport. "We have to go to D.C." I sighed as I entered the car and slammed my foot down on the accelerator, calling in for a clean up team at the safe house, and for an extraction team if we are unheard of within two hours of the mission launch in D.C.
Annabeth
I woke up with a groan, only to realise my hands were bound and I was in a dark room and was tied to a chair, the rope digging into my ankles and wrists, rubbing the skin off and leaving red blotches. I looked around the desolate room and saw a little slit of a window that was barred on the outside with little light pouring in, moonlight to be exact, and a mirror in front of me. I looked at my reflection and saw a pale girl, with bruises and scratches and dried blood on her face and matted blond hair. One bruise stood out over the rest as it was on her forehead and had a black eye. I then realised this girl was me, and gaped at how I looked. I then cast a look to something move beside me, and the light of the moon illuminated Thalia's even paler face. She looked over at me and her electric blue eyes widened in fear as she whimpered and struggled against her restraints. We both looked to the front of the room when we heard a door open and stood in front of me stood the man I loved. I looked distastefully at him as the memory of what he did to Thalia and I came rushing back to me.
We opened the door to the safehouse and shut to door. There was a crash from behind and we both spun around to see Luke standing there with a gun pointed at Thalia. He tutted and shook his head before and after she smashed a glass vase into his head, causing the glass to smash with and blood to spurt out from the side of his face. He looked murderously at her before he gripped her hair and smashed her face into the side of the smashed cabinet rendering her unconscious. My eyes grew wider with fear as he approached me and slammed the butt of the gun in my face. I hit the ground with a thud before blacking out fully.
I glared murderously at him as he smiled a creepy smug smile, "Annabeth, Annabeth, Annabeth." He chided, "You shouldn't have got involved with your new boyfriend." He said venomously. He circled me and stroked my cheek and hair, a thing I would have been fine with if he wasn't the one who knocked Thalia and I out at gunpoint and with a gun. I spat in his face when he crouched in front of me, after struggling to get his cold hands away from me, he wiped it off and grabbed my jaw, "Do that again and I'll break your jaw." He seethed through gritted teeth. I tried not to show my fear towards him, but he got the message as he smirked, patted my head once, then Thalia's then left. We were left wallowing in fear as we waited in the ever growing darkness. I found myself muttering words that confirmed my Love for one man,
"Please save us Percy."
