I hit and thrust the knife through Kronos' shoulders I pinned him against the wall as I shackled his wrists to the wall and his feet. I tugged the metal bars, roughly 10cm long and 7cm thick into his shoulders and turning on the voltage.
"So long Kronos, enjoy hell." I gritted between my teeth as I watch his body writhe in pain before going to free Thalia and Nico who were coming to. As soon as they were free they embraced each other and kissed as I wandered over to Annabeth who was lying on the floor in shock. I pulled her gently to her feet before lifting her bridal style, walking out the door with everyone in tow as Nico grabbed our stuff. As we stepped through to the cold air of Washington DC, I heard the wail of sirens as they screeched around the corner. The FBI and Olympus had come to get us. An ambulance pulled up in front of us and took Annabeth from my arms, which I was extremely thankful for, as soon as she left my arms I instantly collapsed and blacked out from the pain and blood loss.
I woke up instantly blinded from the sheer brightness of the room. I squinted my eyes moving my right hand to cover my eyes, groan as I did, feeling a shooting pain rise up through my shoulder. I felt my left hand tighten as I looked over, barely seeing a concerned blonde haired girl smiling with tears running down her face, it was difficult to tell seen as my eye was a slit due to the black eye Castellan gave me and my vision being blurry.
"Hi." I smiled, hearing her angelic voice. I felt her hand in mine, rubbing circles into the skin on the back of my hand.
"Can you get me some water please." I croaked, the sound of my voice sounding nothing like myself and like I've eaten a tonne of gravel. She nodded and pressed the cup of water to my lips. I drank greedily until I'd drained the cup, gasping for air as I finished leaning my head back so I was staring at the boring cream ceiling of my room at HQ. It then hit me. What was she doing here at Olympus HQ? In my room? I blushed at thought and looked over to her and was about to voice my question before I was interrupted by a familiar voice.
"She's been here the whole time, refused to leave your side for four days straight." I looked to the door, seeing my mother's smiling face as well as Poseidon's and Nico.
"Good to have you with us again son." Poseidon smiled. I nodded letting out an airy unamused chuckle.
"We'll leave you two alone for now, we'll come back later." My mum smiled, pushing Poseidon and Nico out the door, arguing that they wanted to see me for a while. I chuckled and looked over to my left at Annabeth. The vision in my right eye was starting to come back as the swelling went down, leaving just a slight bruise under my eyelid. Annabeth gasped and leaned back in surprise. I chuckled and pulled on her hand so that she sat on the bed beside me.
"You have just witnessed first hand the wonders of self healing." I explained half-sarcasm. She ran her fingers over my face as we stared into each others eyes, sea green on storm grey before they started to glisten and tears rolled down her cheeks. I sat up and wrapped her in my arms.
"Hey. Shh. What's the matter." I comforted as I ran my fingers in comforting circles on her back. She sniffled as she leaned her head into the crook of my neck.
"I thought I was going to die in there, I thought you wouldn't be able to get to me in time, I never had the chance to tell you how I felt." She whimpered. I wrapped my arms around her tighter, kissing the exposed skin of her shoulder.
"But you did, I did. I told you how I felt for you too. I love you more than anything." I told her as I ran my thumb over her cheek. "Not meant to, but I'm glad I do." I whispered as she leaned forwards, replying her love for me so close to my lips. I could feel her breath wash over my face as she closed the small gap that was in between us in a small kiss that escalated into a make out session. We broke apart later, panting and out of breath. I ran my thumb over the red marks I made on her neck and around her collar. We managed to switch positions some how so I was now on top looking down at the beautiful blonde beneath me. I pecked her lips once more before rolling to the side and running my thumb over her soft delicate skin of her cheek making her blush. She snuggled deeper into my embrace, my hands on their on accord naturally wrapping around her back as I rested my head against hers and falling into a peacefully sleep with the girl I love in my arms.
Crappy way to end this, I know but this story has been going nearly as long as Internet Dating, check it out if you haven't already, and there really was hardly anything left to write but that last piece. Anyway I hope you have enjoyed and will enjoy my next two stories that I will be writing, one is Grey Eyes meets Green Fire which will be like this story, short and won't drag on forever but the other will be long with really long chapters I'm hoping.
