Ichigo's Pov

I blinked. Then I blinked again because I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "Come again?" I asked.

"I'm in your Mythology class!" Karin exclaimed happily as she jumped on my bed. "Mr. Brunner talked to the counselor and convinced him to change my class!"

I smiled widly and high-fived her. "That's amazing!"

She moved back and the smile wouldn't leave her face. "How was the first class?"

I laughed and fell back on the bed. "Well I was an ass to the teacher because you weren't allowed in the class. Rukia and I got detention because she answered his question and I was defending her. I also called him horse ass."

Karin started laughing like crazy. It started thundering louder and raining harder. Her laughter calmed down a little. "Why did you call him that?"

"It just came to me." My chuckled died down when I stared out at the cloud covered sky.

Karin caught on to my expression and smiled lightly. "When will we talk about her in class?"

"Hopefully soon," I answered wistfully.

"What is she doing here?" Percy's girlfriend, Annabeth I think, asked with distaste in her voice.

I sat in my seat knowing I couldn't get in the middle. Karin looked up and her face was expressionless. "I have this class."

"I don't believe it." Grover said. "Why would you be in this class when you weren't in it yesterday?"

From the corner of my eye I saw Karin glare at him. "Why don't you ask the counselor, donkey-ass?"

I busted out laughing while all of Percy's friends stared at her in shock and anger. "Excuse me?" Grover asked slightly offended.

I went down to grab my bag when I heard, "At least I know who my mother is." Guess which donkey-ass said that.

I slammed my book on the desk and the people in the room jumped. I stood and stalked over to my sister. "What did you just say?" I asked vehemently.

"What?" He asked challenginglys. "You know you don't know who your mother is. For all anyone knows she could be a drug-addict or alcholic-"

He never got to finish his sentence because he was on the ground trying to comprehend what happened. I knead him in the gut while he tried to throw blind punches. He was effectively punching me in the face but it didn't matter since I was pumped on adrenaline. I managed to flip him over and get him into a choke hold. He tried to kick me off, but when that failed Grover started kicking my leg to try to make me lose my balance. He pulled far bark and then kicked my ankle as hard as he could.

It felt strange and painful for two reasons. Reason number one, I'm pretty sure he broke it. Reason number two-it felt like a real donkey kicked it.

After a minute or two of us fighting somebody pulled us apart. I'm pretty sure Chad pulled me off of Grover and Percy restrained him. I tried to advance but Karin stepped in front of me and did something unbelievable. She hugged me! She never does that!

I looked down at her. I sighed, picked her up, sat her on my waist, and hugged her back. "You know what he said isn't true," I whispered.

Karin laid her head on my shoulder so I couldn't see her face. "I know."

Percy's Pov

I walked into the classroom to see Ichigo and Grover trying to kill each other. After I helped pull them apart, Chiron rolled in a minute later and yelled, "What happened in here?"

Neither of them said anything, but Karin jumped down from where she was and answered for them. "This guy-"

"Grover." I offered.

"-here made a comment about me not knowing who my mother is," she went on. "Ichi-nii stepped in and asked for some clarification. Then Grover insulted my mother and Ichi-nii got pissed and pushed him down. Ichi-nii didn't try to hurt him because he knew he would get in trouble, but Grover tried to hurt him."

Chiron stayed silent. Soon he finally said, "Thank you, Miss Kurosaki for telling the truth."

Karin sat in her new seat while Chiron turned to Grover. "You have detention for two weeks."

"But he was the one that attacked me first!" Grover argued.

Chiron sighed and shifted his seat to look at Ichigo, whom was sitting on the countertop with one of his leg propped up on a desk.

"Do you have anything to say to defend yourself?"

Ichigo stared at him with the same expressionless face as his sister. "May I go to the nurse?" He politely asked. Maybe he thought he needed to change his attitude? Whatever it is, Chiron seemed to notice as well.

Instead of calling him out on it, Chiron asked, "And why do you want to go to the nurse?"

Ichigo glanced at Grover and then looked at Chiron. "I think my ankle is broken."

Chiron nodded his head. "You may go to the nurse, but please do tell me if it is or isn't so I can decide a better suited punishment."

Ichigo limped to his sister. "I'm going to be even more pissed if you guys talk about her today," he muttered while she was trying to hold in her laugh.

He grabbed his bag, threw it over his shoulder, and staggered his way down the hallway.

I turned around to face Grover, but Chiron was already whispering, "Why did you have to insult their mother?"

"She's just another mortal," he whispered back.

"No she isn't! I don't know who she is, but she's a goddess!"
