The Taurus awoke slowly, his eyes were shifting left to right before catching a dark figure to the left of him. he sat up slowly and turned to face the tall thing. it was the grand high blood holding the fairy's lance in his hands. "I didn't want to do this you know?" the indigo blood grumbled. there was something else in his other hand. The Summoner's eyes widened one hand went to his mouth as his heart sank. his wings were in the highblood's hands. The former fairy troll let out sorrowful screams as he hugged himself, his fingers just badly touching the edges of what was left of his wings. the highblood put the lance away and moved to the smaller male. he knelt down and kissed his forehead and with a dark smile whispered into his ear, "I can't have my pet flying away now motherfucker." The summoner looked deep into the clown trolls eyes and shook his head, "I fucking hate you." The grand highblood smiled at this before placing a hateful kiss on the low bloods lips. the Summoner quickly looked down after the highblood pulled away. he sobbed and layer back down in the fetal position. the brown blood shook and trembled as the indigo blood pulled him to his chest and caressed his shoulders. Summoner shivered from the clowns touch. "Just kill me." the Taurus whispered as his copper tears stained the cave floor. "Why would I all up and do that? we can't hate flirt if you die." the Capricorn whispered back gruffly before moving a nail across the low bloods cheek, cutting it just enough for it to bleed. a large purple tongue slid over it slowly lapping up the copper blood and tears before they both fell asleep.
The next morning the former fairy just sat in the cave unmoving. the clown troll eyed the smaller man as he sat there depressed. he even tried to initiate a fight by kicking him as hard as he could causing the summoner to go flying into a cave wall. the summoner only let out small groans of pain as the other beat him. his once bright brown eyes dark and dull with pain. "Come on motherfucker! fight me!" the Capricorn shouted in his face angrily. the low blood just looked through the highblood with nothing to say. this made the clown troll growl and shake with anger as he lifted him up by his shirt, "SAY SOMETHING YOU SHIT BLOOD!" the summoner moved his hands to the indigo bloods with a weak grip, "darlin' ... you've won... you broke me... is this not... is this not your wish?" he said in a cracked voice. it was then the highblood realized what he had done and dropped the smaller troll to the floor and backed away. "I just wanted... to keep you." the indigo blood admitted with regret on his features. "...you have me now." The smaller troll said as he looked to his legs. The Capricorn moved to the Taurus and started to tend to his wounds. they both said nothing as this happened. every day after the clown troll would clean and change the smaller trolls makeshift bandages. "Why are you doing this?" the summoner asked suddenly after a few more weeks. "Because I want to keep you alive to make you my motherfucking slave." the highblood hissed as if he was offended at the question. "You really are crazy aren't you?" Summoner questioned dully as the grand highblood was cleaning the gashes where his wings once were. the indigo blood patted one of the gashes hard causing the low blood to groan and flinch in pain.
"Shut up or i'll let it rot!" the indigo blood grumbled before he started to wrap new bandage around the copper bloods chest and abdomen to cover the gashes on his back. the summoner didn't resist as the highblood tended his wounds, in fact he welcomed it. If his wings were anything like the Lusus' fairy bulls, he knew that without their wings the wounds would have gotten infected and he would have died slowly. When the indigo blood finished up he stood up and walked to the cave entrance and threw a bowl of brown bloody water onto the grass. the former fairy couldn't help but speak casually to him in that moment, "How do you know I won't run when I'm healed?" The Grand Highblood turned back and walked into the cave passed the low blood as he picked up the bloodstained bandages from the floor, "I don't." was his simple reply. "Then why help me at all?" the shorter troll asked again. "Because I want to keep you," the taller troll said once again as he put the bandages in a burn pile next to the fire pit before continuing, "And you can't get far without those wings of yours." this made the low blood upset but he held his tongue and started to sulk again. he missed his wings, the freedom he felt while flying made him so happy. he used to be so much more brave because he could lift off the ground and avoid any danger the ground may have by a simple flap of his wings. it was going to be hard adjusting to this life. there was no way he could do it over night, even if he didn't suffer from phantom limb syndrome. he would try to flap his wings when the highblood was asleep or when he wasn't looking, but all that did was cause the wounds to throb and pulse with pain. The grand highblood looked over his shoulder to summoner and saw that mournful expression on his face. the low bloods hands trying to feel his nonexistent wings by holding himself in his arms. the indigo blood pressed his lips in a hard line before trying to say something, "Uh, So.." he started in a gruff voice but nothing came out after. he didn't mean to make the smaller troll depressed, he just didn't want the low blood to fly away. "Summy, why don't you tell me about how flying felt?" the Capricorn asked as he moved to sit behind the Taurus. "Why?" the copper blood asked coldly. "Just tell me motherfucker." the grand highblood grumbled the command lowly.
The grand highblood really didn't expect the little troll to answer and was a bit surprise to hear the copper blood speak. "It felt like... like freedom. it felt liberating, exciting... Flying made me feel warm and safe, like nothing could possibly harm me as long as I was in the sky." The low blood mumbled with sorrow.
