~Percy's Pov~

The gods didn't try to separate the two fighting boys. They just watched as they tried killing each other. The only one that showed any emotion was of course Artemis. It didn't show in her face but in her body language; she was shaking and nervously tapping her hand on her leg.

Back to the fight.

Most of the demigods expected Frank to be winning since he is the son of war. They were sadly mistaken. Frank couldn't land one hit on him, unlike Ichigo.

Here was Ichigo's routine: dodge, punch, punch and then start over. Each punch Ichigo landed, the more blood that appeared.

Finally after watching the gruesome fight go on for over ten minutes, two of the gods pulled them apart. Apollo was holding on to Ichigo while Ares was trying to keep his Roman son from getting out of his grasp.

Chiron walked, well trotted, between the two once fighting boys. "What the hell is going on around here?"

"This idiot asked for me and when I did, he randomly starts punching me!" Frank accused.

"You're lying." Apollo stated. "I could tell by the moment you spoke."

"I should have known you were a god." Ichigo muttered loud enough for almost everyone to hear him again.

"Kurosaki," Chiron called on. "Why don't you tell us your side of the story?"

Instead of answering he looked away from everyone, adverting his gaze to the floor. As he did I watched as Uryuu and Rukia sneak behind the gods. Where are they going?

"Are you listening to me?" Chiron asked. "Tell us your side of the story."

Ichigo ignored him as he stopped struggling. "Please let me go, Lord Apollo. I have to go."

"Go whe-"

"I think we should discuss this later." Persephone strangely intervened. "The substitute needs to go do his job."

Ichigo glanced at her with shock written all over his face. "How do you know me?"

She smirked at the younger male. "I'm the co-ruler of that society. I should know you after the multiple times you saved and invaded it."

"I 'invade' it one time!" Ichigo denied. "And that was to save her from-"

"Being executed for giving you her powers." Persephone finished. "I know. Zangetsu is getting rusty and even more dull."

"Hey!"

"Go do your job," she continued like he didn't say anything. "I'll explain and get everything situated here. Go!"

As soon as she finished talking, Ichigo disappeared in thin air. Less than a second later, the doors to the mess hall slammed shut.

Persephone chuckled before asking, "So where do you want me to start?"

"Why is he so protective of his sisters?" Grover asked somewhere in his back.

"It's his name." she answered. "His name literally means 'one that protects'. Ever since his father told him that, Ichigo tried to protect his family and even more when his two sisters were born."

"Why did you call him a substitute?" Leo asked. "And who did he try to save from being executed?"

"Because his soul reaper powers were fully unleashed after they were taken away from the first time," Persephone confusingly answered. "He didn't 'try' to save someone he did. Ichigo saved Rukia Kuchiki because he owed her from when she risked her life to save his family when they first met."

"Why didn't he or his friends tell us about the soul reapers?" I asked. "Why didn't he tell me? I thought he said we were brothers."

"You two are. It's just against the law in the Soul Society to tell humans about the place unless you are given permission," she answered. "He would have told. . ." Persephone trailed off and her eyes were glazed over, like she was in a trance.

"What's wro-"

"They're in trouble." she muttered.

From the corner of my eye I saw Artemis go tense. "Who and why?" the goddess of hunt asked.

Persephone looked at her sister with both sympathy and sadness. "The monsters aren't hollows. The Espadas have invaded camp. He-"

She never finished answering Artemis's question because Artemis was already gone.

~Ichigo's Pov~

After five minutes of running I finally made it to the battle, but it look like it already ended. Uryuu and Rukia were on the ground bleeding heavily while Orihime was trying to heal Chad's crushed arm. This sorta reminds me of when they first came to Karakura Town.

As I stepped in front of my friends, I gripped Zangestu even tighter. "How did you get inside the barrier?" I demanded. "Only demigods and the gods themselves can enter."

Aizen's evil smirk grew larger. "How careless and unknowledgeable you are. Didn't you notice when you fought against him that he had a different battle style?"

A different battle style? There was one Espada that was like that, but he can't be a demigod. He can't!

"Why are you here?" I asked harshly.

"Two Espadas wanted to see their parents." Aizen answered.

"T-" I was interrupted when someone stabbed me in the gut to where you can see most of the blade on the other side.

Gin pulled his zanpakuto out of me with a devious grin on his face. "You're too slow Kurosaki."

In a second I was on the ground as well. I tried to stand but something was keeping me from doing so.

Most of the Espadas laughed at my predicament. "Silly Soul Reaper!" one of them exclaimed. "Don't you know this place restricts your powers!"

"Why is that?" I yelled. "And how do you know so much about camp and the gods? Urahara said the arrancars that were born there never visited the World of the Living."

"I said there was two demigods." Aizen restated. "I never said they were both born in Hueco Muendo. In fact the female was born in your home town."

Tia Harribel is a demigod? She was born in Karakura? That isn't possible. Who could her godly parent be?

Now that I'm looking at her see does seem awfully familiar. It's like I heard about her before. . . .in a story!

Holy shit.

Tia is the daughter of Artemis.
