The Capricorn troll moved his hand to messily fix the Taurus' red and black hair. without a word the two looked at each other and as the low blood turned his face to look away the highblood caught his face in his palm and made him face him once more. "You know the rules don't you?" the Capricorn asked before the Taurus grabbed his hand and moved it away. "I do. Don't you?" Summoner asked confidently. "Of course I do motherfucker." the Capricorn said before examining the paint he put on the former fairy troll's face. The grand highblood took his hand by the wrist as he lead him into the castle of the Empress Coincidence. she was on her throne watching all her invited guests with a bored expression before standing and holding a hand out in welcome as the grand highblood entered dragging a low blood by its small wrist. "Darling! Grand Highblood, its been sweeps! you look fabulous for a cave dwelling land troll." the fish troll stated with a laugh. The Capricorn bowed as the low blood kneeled to her, "Your excellence, you are as lovely as always." said the indigo blood. The pink blood laughed obnoxiously loud before touching her cheek, "Go on." "Your radiance is difficult to put into words. No, Words couldn't possibly do you justice. if I could I would make them suffer for you." the entire ballroom burst into laughter as did the Empresses. "please, you flatter me so. enjoy the festivities with your slave." she waved her hand dismissively.
The indigo smiled and yanked the brown blood up violently making him follow. After an hour or two the empresses demanded a waltz begin. The highest of the guests moved to other highbloods or took their slaves to the dance floor. The grand highbloods took the summoner's small hand and placed his other hand on the low bloods waist, leading him to the dancefloor. His small painted face moved up to meet the indigo bloods. Monochromatic clown makeup met a simple sugar skulls design. they began to dance gracefully, slowly so that the low blood could follow the steps. The highbloods that danced with their low blood slaves that missed a step or stepped on each others feet were punished by their masters for embarrassing them. with grace the grand highblood moved with the summoner to the far corner of the dancefloor before they were out of sight from the rest of the guests, guards and the empress herself. the indigo blooded troll kissed his copper bloods painted lips gently before smiling at him, "you're doing well." the wingless troll allowed the kiss before looking down, "It doesn't help that I still want to kill her." the Capricorn let out a chuckle, "Behave yourself shit blood. I wouldn't want to cull you." he said as he left the Taurus in the hall. after a while of being alone the Summoner was greeted by a familiar blue blood with painted blue lips and long black hair cascading down her back and making the blue in her dress seem brighter with beauty. "My love." Mindfang said with a soft smile as she hugged him noticing that his wings were gone.
"What has that beast done to you?" she asked as sadness and anger burned in her beautiful shining yellow and blue eyes. "Mindfang... I... I'm sorry." was all the Taurus could say before moving past her back through the dancefloor before being stopped by the blue blooded woman, "Where are you going?" Mindfang asked as she moved her hands around him so they could dance. He complied as he started to waltz with her, "I don't know what's going on... but we have a chance to escape." she whispered in his ear and he did his best to glide with her as she pushed him closer to the exit. "No.. I.." The summoner began but then let out a sigh. "I'm deviating from our Matespritship." the Taurus said without even looking into her eyes. she froze with him there amongst the other guests too stunned to fully grasp what he had just said to her. she took a moment before asking, "what do you mean?" "I'm not red for you anymore Spinneret. I'm sorry." the former fairy mumbled as the blue blood took a step back. She started to shake slightly before glaring up at him, "its him isn't it? he is the one you're leaving me for?!" she whispered loudly with an angry expression. "Mindfang, just calm down." the Taurus said as he took a step to her with his hands up. "he will never love you you can't love you like I do." she muttered under her breath confidently as she was pushing the horrible memories of him and the grand high blood fighting and hurting each other. Rufioh shook his head trying to stop her from pushing those terrible images from his mind to no avail. the copper blood glared at the blue blood and whispered through slit teeth, "Stop it before I end up hating you." the Scorpio troll gasped and slapped him as hard as she could making him clatter to the floor. everyone stopped and looked at the two and the spider loving troll backed away before taking off. the grand highblood moved quickly shoving the other trolls out of the way to get to his slave. the indigo blood pulled him up roughly by one of his horns causing the smaller troll to stand and grit his teeth in pain. the indigo apologized to the highblood for his low bloods clumsy dancing and dragged him away leaving the party.
the indigo blood stormed away, into the nearby forest acting resentful and intending to cull the small low blood. when they were far enough away the clown troll let go of rufiohs horn and faced him. "What the fuck happened back there?" the highblood asked calmly. Rufioh shrugged looking away, "A blue blood asked me to dance and I stepped on her feet." the copper blood uttered dishonestly. the Capricorn just nodded and moved his hand to tilt his chin up making the low blood look him in the eyes. "You look good in this makeup." the grand highblood admired the aforementioned face paint. Copper blush dusted his cheeks under the thick makeup as he looked blankly up at the tall juggalo troll.
