My coauthor and I are really sorry that this chapter took so long; things have been kind of hectic this month. We got a request a couple of months ago to show Jade training, so we started to show some of it here and we hope to go into greater detail soon. Chapter 17
The next day the J Team and the demons were called to the throne room again. They weren't told why though. When Jackie asked why the only answer he got was that it was an important matter. When they entered the throne room they found that The Devil, Jade, her friends, and the many diplomats who arrived yesterday were already there.
"What is going on here your majesty?" Viper asked.
"Yes, why do you summon us here, and now?" Uncle questioned.
"Another diplomat has just arrived. I thought that you all should be in attendance." The Dark King declared.
"Why?" Paco asked.
"Let's just say that you've met him before." The Devil replied.
Suddenly the diplomat entered, and nobody could believe their eyes when they saw who it was.
"Tarakudo?!" The J team said in shock.
It was him alright. Shockingly he had retained his physical form was standing in the throne room of the Devil's palace.
"Why do you all look so surprised? The Devil did mention to us that he was roaming freely around Hell." Shendu declared.
"How the Hell is this guy a diplomat?!" Paco questioned.
"He's the king of the Shadowkhan how wouldn't he be?" Mark asked sarcastically.
"Still, he tried might just be here with the hopes of transforming Jade into the Queen of the Shadowkhan again. That doesn't concern you at all?" Tohru asked.
"I'm 21; I think I'm capable enough of handling him." Jade stated.
"Besides, he attempted that stunt already, and it really didn't work. So I think he knows better." Amber stated.
"What exactly does that mean?" Viper asked.
"Where do you think Mamoru came from?" Dante questioned.
"Are you trying to say that Tarakudo sent Mamoru to Jade?" El Toro asked.
"Yes, I sent him to her you idiots! I sent him to her hoping he could get the tattoo back on her, but it didn't work. The princess somehow managed to make the Shadowkhan abandon the mission." Tarakudo declared.
"Yeah, it honestly wasn't that difficult to accomplish." Jade stated.
"Ho exactly did you do it though?" Jackie questioned.
"That's for me to know and for you to find out." Jade replied.
"But Jade they'll never find out how you did it." Amber declared.
"No shit Sherlock, that's the point." Violet stated.
"I'll never understand any of these people." Drago mumbled.
"We can hear you, you know." Dante said.
"Like I give a shit." Drago replied.
"Enough! No matter what this diplomat did in the past he is still a guest in my kingdom. I can guarantee that Princess Jade, although capable of defending herself, has the best protection. So I do not wish to see any unnecessary violence in my kingdom, or I will make the consequences severe." The Devil declared.
"Worse than the dimension that makes watching Twilight seem like a trip to Disney World?" Jade questioned.
"Now Jade, this is not the time to be sarcastic." The Dark King said.
"Whatever." Jade replied.
"You are all dismissed." The Devil declared before exiting the throne room.
Jade and her friends quickly followed.
The J team and the demon sorcerers just stood there for a few seconds.
"Come on, there's no need for us to be in here anymore." Viper stated.
With that said they all took their leave.

A few days later the J team, Daolon Wong, and the demon sorcerers were just minding their own business and doing whatever. Paco was currently just wandering the halls when he saw Jade and her friends walking in his direction. They stopped when they noticed him.
"Hey Paco." Jade greeted.
"Hola Yade." Paco greeted in his Spanish accent.
"A decade and you still can't get my name right." Jade stated.
"Sorry?" Paco said.
"I'm only kidding. So what are you doing?" Jade asked.
"Just wandering really, what are you all up to?" Paco asked.
"We were thinking of going to Dante's suite and playing some new video games we got." Violet replied.
"That sounds pretty cool…Well I guess I'll be going now." Paco said turning to walk away.
"Hold up a sec Paco. Do you want come and hang out with us?" Jade asked.
"You'd let me hangout with you guys?" Paco questioned.
"Yeah, why do you even ask that?" Amber said.
"It's just, I'm not a reaper." Paco confirmed.
"So, I've known you for a decade Paco. We're friends aren't we?" Jade asked.
"Yeah…" Paco replied.
"Look, do you want come hangout with us or not?" Mark asked.
"Well…Sure why not." Paco said.
"You know this could be pretty cool." Dante stated.
"Yeah, and we're finally evened out again." Mark declared.
"What do you mean by that?" Paco questioned.
"Well, you see when Zyon was part of the group then there were three guys and three girls, but when he left there were only five of us, three which were girls; now where three and three gain." Mark explained.
"Does it really matter?" Jade asked.
"No, just saying." Mark replied.
So the six young adults headed toward Dante's suite.

A week later the J team and the demons were exploring the palace. You think that they would have seen everything there is to see in the Devil's palace, but this palace is huge after all, and of course there were some rooms that the guards would not let them in. Just as they turned down a corridor they noticed Jade walking down the hall in a purple running top, and pair of black shorts, and purple and black sneakers.
Now everyone else got curious, so they decided to follow her.
Eventually she entered a room with big glass doors.
Everyone else tried to go in but they were stopped by none other than Mamoru.
"Where do you all think you're going?" Mamoru questioned.
"We only wish to see what Jade is doing." Jackie replied.
"I'm afraid you can't do that." Mamoru declared.
"And why exactly is that?" Hsi Wu asked.
"She is training right now…with the Devil himself." Mamoru stated.
"Mamoru." A voice said from the shadows. Jade walked out of the shadows and walked over to her body guard. "What's going on?" Jade asked.
"I was explaining to these people why they couldn't come into the training room." Mamoru confirmed.
"No, let them come in… they need to see for themselves just how capable I am of fighting." Jade declared. Then she disappeared behind the doors.
"Go on in…but don't interfere with anything." Mamoru said before disappearing.
So the J Team, the demons, and the evil wizard entered the training room. They found various workout machines and equipment, and a few weapons all over the room.
They noticed Jade and the Devil sparing with each other. The Devil still had is cloak on; seriously does he ever take of the cloak.
Jade was defending herself very well against the Dark King, and she even managed to strike him a couple of times. After a few minutes the Devil told Jade to take a break.
"I see you all have discovered the reapers' training room." The Devil said to group.
"So this is where reapers come to train?" Viper questioned.
"Yes, and today I am teaching Jade how to improve her skills so she'll be ready when it is her turn to be the Devil." The Dark King stated.
"Why like this though?" Bai Tza questioned.
"Well I could just sit her down and explain everything to her on a blackboard and have her take notes; but let's face it, we'd both be bored. Besides, who better to learn from then the current Devil?" The Dark King stated.
"Interesting." Shendu remarked.
"You can all stay and watch if you wish to, but I warn you now like I did previously, do not interfere." The Devil demanded. "Jade come, now we will practice the light manipulation techniques."
So the J Team, the demon sorcerers, and the dark wizard just watched.
"Jade is quite a good." Uncle commented.
"She always wanted to be a fighter." Jackie remarked.
