Whelp. I'm nearly done with this story, but I have some ideas for the sequels and such so when it comes to that...It'll come to that, lol.

84: Goodbye New York.

Well time to go. I'm leaving today with Finn and Ryder to go back to Lima and start facing the consequences of my decisions. I'm still upset about a lot of things that happened and that are going to happen. Also I've skipped having cigarettes for the past two days. Ryder and Finn were pleased with that, but how long could I please them like that?

I got a call from Juliet. I haven't heard from her or any of the friends I've made here for a few weeks. She and the others were coming to the hotel to come say goodbye to me. I hope we can stay friends.

Ryder and Finn were inside doing some last minute checkings before we leave for the airport. I guess Carol and Burt were gonna come get us and then I would be staying with them until I had to go to the facility.

The gang came. None of them seemed high or drunk or hungover, just Juliet smoking a cigarette. She ran over and hugged me. "Marley!" She smiled.

"Hey guys," I said. "What's been going on?"

"Shit." Bobby said. "We've been dealing with things hence why we couldn't see you in the hospital."

"No worries." I said.

"So what now?" Leonardo asked. "You going home?"

"Yeah. I have to." I told them. "Maybe I'll be back in the summer for a week or two."

"No problem." Roberta grinned. "Damn I need a taco."

"You hate tacos." I pointed out.

"Not since I got pregnant." She told me.

"OH MY GOD!" I screamed in excitement. "That's amazing!" I hugged her.

"Thanks. Yeah, remember that kid from middle school I dated from seventh grade until we graduated? We met up and the flame turned on again and now we got our own little flame inside." She told me. "I want a boy. They're easier to raise."

"Nah, girls are." Emily told her. "That's what I want."

"What?" I asked her.

"Yep. We're both due around April or so." She said. "I already told my guy, he's cool and supportive of it."

"Oh that's good I guess." I told them. Then turned to Juliet and said, "Any little Kate's or Romeo's coming soon?"

"Ha! As if!" Juliet laughed. "Not for us."

"As of now, I'm still trying to get her to have at least one." Leonardo said.

"Shut up Leo!"

"I'm all for kids." Mattie said. "So think we can come visit you in Lima?"

"Sure." I told them. "That should be fun."

We all talked for a bit more and longer. It's wonderful how we all still have fun without being under some type of influence. Ryder and Finn came out a while later and after introducing everyone to one another, it was time to go. I hugged each of my New York friends tightly and said I would message them as soon as I got home and was settled inside.

Ryder, Finn and I boarded the taxi and soon drove off.

As I looked out the window and saw the building and people passing be I mentally waved goodbye to New York. I've had fun in New York, even at the cost of my own life, and though some of the memories are bad and not good, there were some that I had that I would love forever. Seeing Mom again (at the cost of my own life sadly) and rekindling my love for Ryder Lynn.

I felt Ryder touch my kneecap with his hand and a moment later he pressed his lips against my cheek for a quick peck. I turned back and smiled at him before leaning in and kissing the tip of his nose.

"You guys are weird." Finn pointed out.

Ryder and I laughed and rolled our eyes and I went back to looking out the window. Maybe'll I come back here one day to make more memories, good ones so that I'll have more good than bad ones, and then again maybe I'm done with New York. Who knows what the future holds. All I know is this.

Not the last chapter.
