An update! Oh lovely!
MELISSA AND BLAKE ARE MARRIED!
I have known since March when Melissa instagram a photo of her holding Milli and called her Babushka in it, but yeah!
85: Welcome Home, Marley Rose.
It felt like a lifetime to get back to Lima. I don't even know the date, late August I suppose? Mid-August?
We arrived back into Lima as the train we took neared the station. Finn was beginning to wake up after a full night ride and Ryder kept sleeping. I looked out the window and saw everything slowing down as we neared the station. I heard the conductor up front yelled out, "Arriving in Lima!"
Smiling I nudged Ryder to the side and he jerked awake. "Sugar babies."
"Huh?" I asked him.
"What? Oh, nothing." Ryder yawned. "Are we home?"
"Yes?" I whispered and kissed his cheek. "We're home." Ryder smirked and wrapped his arms around me, then leaned in and kissed me.
"Lovebirds, it's too early for this." Finn laughed. "Rachel and I wait until at least ten in the morning."
Ryder took his phone out of his pocket and checked the time. "One minute after ten."
"OK then." Finn laughed.
The train slowed down some more and soon came to a complete stop. As the conductor yelled out that we had arrived in Lima, the guys and I stood up and gathered out luggage from the luggage holding thing above our seats. Once they were all grabbed then we jumped off the train and we walked down to the benches to wait for a cab that Finn was calling on his phone.
I missed the smell of Lima. I missed the scenery of Lima. I missed the noises of Lima and I missed hearing people cuss out at one another in anger. New York that that too don't get me wrong, but Lima was less angry. New York seemed like someone was going to murder someone when the cussing and yelling began like that tone.
God, I really did miss Lima.
The cab came a while later and the three of us pack inside and we soon parted to the destination that Finn ordered on the phone.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Since it's the last week of August we're going to Disney World."
"Disney World?" I laughed at Ryder's comment.
"Eh, sort of." Ryder laughed.
A short drive later we arrived in a neighborhood I knew too well. Blaine's neighborhood. I got excited just thinking about seeing him again and soon after that all my friends. Including Tina. Shocking!
"A party at Blaine's house!?" I yelled excitingly. "For Finn?" His birthday was in August. "Or Santana? Her birthday is, like, three days before his!" I remember Brittany telling me that too.
"No, Finn is against his birthday and Santana didn't want a party this year."
Ten houses we passed before we arrived outside of Blaine's very large house. Not mansion, just a large house. I remember all of it. I even remember the inside. Including when he brought me here after my first time passing out for getting high. Weird. I could hear music in the background and people's voices. The cab parked and I jumped out as quickly as I could.
"Slow down!" Ryder laughed.
I knew in my heart that everyone was in the backyard. I ran across the street, across the grass opened the brown gate to the backyard. Everyone was singing and dancing too much to notice me. Everyone from Glee was there. And there were these tables filled with food and a cake that read 'Happy Birthday Finn, Santana and Marley!" Me? I'm...I'm a September baby.
Finally someone saw me. Of course it was Unique too. "Marley!" She yelled in happiness and ran to hug me.
"OH MY GOD SHE IS BACK!" A drunk Kitty yelled. "VIRGIN MARY HAS RETURNED!"
Soon enough everyone had ran over and took turns giving me a hug. Tina the tightest and apologizing a million times. I think she might of been drunk too because she had another sip of her "lemonade" and began laughing hysterically. Weird.
"Guys my birthday isn't until September."
"We know," Sam said. "But since most of us won't be here for it, it's a little Glee tradition."
"We celebrate Finn's birthday and whoever else' birthday we're going to miss." Kurt added in. "So far that's just Finn, Santana and Puck being September third."
"Shut up!" Puck yelled. He, too, was drunk. "Party in the Harvard!"
"I'd rather celebrate with cooler people than you kiddie party members!" Santana yelled. She was too drunk. "And I still think piano man is hiding elves in his trunk in his hobo house made of candy canes!"
I laughed at him. This was so sweet of everyone. I loved it. We got back to partying but I sat down with a bottle of water and just enjoyed the presents of everyone here. I keep going back to Zandra and I in that weird place. Now looking at everyone I can just see how hurt they would of been had I left. I secretly thanked Zandra every single day for stopping me.
A couple of hours passed by and soon it was close to eleven at night. Though some of Glee members were still a bit drunk we celebrated the four birthdays. I sat outside with Ryder for a bit. We made out for about ten minutes before Jake told us to get our asses inside and help finish the cake.
"I'll be in there in a moment." I said. Ryder winked and got up following Jake into the house.
I stood up a few moments later and walked out to the edge of the yard and looked up at the night sky. It was so beautiful. And those stars were beautiful too. I can't believe I was almost one of them. But I smiled knowing that mom was one of the stars up there.
"I know I've been in trouble mom. A lot of trouble and I'm the only one to blame for the problem. But I'm going to do a lot better. I want to get better." I said up in the sky. "I will get better. I promise."
There was a moment of silence. But I swear I felt the wind kiss my cheek. Mom.
Later that night around midnight Blaine went to bed. Yes, I was staying here at Blaine's for a few more days until I had to leave a day before him. I hated that I wasn't going to be there when he and the others left for New York.
I sat at the guest room desk tapping my pen. I couldn't sleep. I was listening to Pandora and suddently this song called "Stay Gold" came on. I remember a movie that had this song. The Outsiders. Lark and I watched that.
I thought for a moment before smiling. "Well, I guess I can pull a Ponyboy." I laughed and took a blank journal they kept in here for whatever reason.
Chapter 1: Bio of Me.
