Data Log Entry: # 21840428

I'm sitting here at my desk. It's about 4:40 in the morning. I can't sleep, but I was sleeping a lot more peaceful just a few minutes ago. I had to get up to use the head; too much coffee earlier. I was going to crawl back into bed but, Liara is sleeping so peacefully now that I don't want to even risk disturbing her.

LoL, I finally found out if asari wear socks. Actually after tonight, I got a lot more than I bargained for. I discovered a lot of things about asari I thought I would never experience. I learned what they wore under those science uniforms and how they sound when they experience pleasure. It sounds like… ah never mind. I think I'll keep that stuff to my self.

What I will say is that after spending the best night of my life romantically involved with Liara, I am as calm as a finely tuned warrior. My senses are sharp, I am more focused and above all, I am very relaxed. What ever she did to me, or we did together, it did the trick. I am more ready than I ever was before. And that melding we did tonight. Wow! That was mind blowing. That was nothing like the melds we shared before. This one was beyond words. All I will say is that whatever she felt intimately, I felt it was well, as if I was experiencing it at the same time. MIND BLOWING!

Now I know what all the fuss is about. That was hands down, the best sex I ever had in my life. And based on how soundly she's sleeping right now, I'd like to think she had a pretty swell time as well. That is something they certainly don't teach at the academy.

*** Fifteen minutes passed before next entry was made ***

She's starting to stir. Goddess, I hope she doesn't wake up. I want her to always be that peaceful. Oh she's awake, I guess it's time to find out what she thought of last night. How could I tell her in a heartbeat everything she means to me. But as I waited, I remembered, during our meld. I might have done just that, with a single thought and a single breathe, she knew exactly how I felt about her.

The first words out of her mouth were music to my ears. "By the Goddess, that was incredible Shepard."

I of course told her that she was the one that was incredible. And just like clocker work, Joker pipes in over the 1MC. "Five minutes ETA to the Mu Relay." Before there was time to talk about anything else, Liara started getting dressed and left. She said she would be waiting in the cargo bay.

Time to go fight the bad guy.
