Chapter 21
It was Monday, which meant that Jade and her friends had to go to work. The J Team had finally left the palace and decided to go explore Hell a bit more. Not everyone gets to be considered the Devil's honored guest after all. Daolon Wong and the demon sorcerers had decided to do the same as well. After all, why should the Enforcers be the only ones who get to explore Hell after all? Paco stayed in the palace most of the time when he wasn't hanging out with Jade and her friends. Today he was out with El Toro though. Anyway Jade and her friends were going to clock in when they noticed Drago and Hsi Wu. Now Jade had told them that none of the demon sorcerers got along with Drago, even Shendu, and Shendu is his father. She also told them about her encounters with the two demons a decade ago. So her friends had some pretty suspicious feelings about the two demons.
"Hey Jade, look who's here," Violet said.
Jade looked to see the two demons were literally like 200 feet away from where she and her friends were now standing.
"I wonder what they're doing here." Jade deadpanned.
"Oh come on Jade," Amber said. "Isn't it obvious?"
"Isn't what obvious?" Jade questioned.
"You seriously don't see it?" Amber questioned.
"See what?" Jade asked.
"Well…actually, you're smart, you can figure it out yourself," Amber declared.
"Figure out what Amber?" Jade asked, clearly annoyed by what her bubbly friend was saying.
"Nothing, forget it," Amber said. "By the way, have you found out what happened to my Mean Girls DVD?"
"No, I don't have a clue," Jade stated.
Mamoru appeared behind Jade and began to snicker. Jade's response to this was to hit her bodyguard in the head and tell him to shut up. Thankfully Amber wasn't looking so she didn't see it.
"Well, come on you guys we have souls to collect," Mark said.
So the reapers went through the portal and waited to see where they would be collecting souls.

A few hours later Jade and her friends came back with all of the souls that they collected.
"So, where did you guys have to go?" Dante asked.
"I went to Italy," Amber said. "There were a lot of elders there today."
"You didn't happen to stop to window shop and get some gelato now, did you?" Mark joked.
"Shut up Mark, that was only a onetime thing and you know it" Amber said. "Anyway, where did you get sent?"
"Tokyo, a lot of people have been getting terribly ill lately," Mark stated.
"Did you happen to see if any new videogames are coming out soon?" Dante asked.
"No, nothing new yet," Mark replied.
"What about you Dante?" Jade asked. "Where did the portal take you today?"
"Hawaii," Dante said. "A poor surfer got attacked by a shark today."
"When did it happen?" Violet asked.
"His papers said the attack was around seven this morning, at least that was the time in Hawaii," Dante stated.
"Isn't that when the sharks are most active?" Amber asked.
"Yeah, it's one of the times," Dante replied.
"Did you get sent anywhere interesting today Violet?" Mark questioned.
"Egypt," Violet stated.
"Did you see any creepy mummies?" Amber questioned.
"Amber, mummies are only found in tombs," Mark declared.
Violet rolled her eyes at her friends.
"No Amber, I didn't go anywhere near any tombs," Violet stated. "There were a lot of elders and soldiers today. One of the elders was a shop keeper."
"What'd he sell?" Jade asked.
"Rugs," Violet replied.
"Were they nice rugs?" Dante asked.
"Yeah, some of them were pretty interesting," Violet declared.
"Well Jade where did you get sent today?" Dante asked.
"Lithuania," Jade said.
"Isn't that one of the most suicidal countries on earth?" Violet questioned.
"Yeah, but so is Japan," Mark declared. "There were some suicides there today in addition to all the sick people."
"It's a shame who some of these souls end up being taken," Amber said looking at her soul bag.
"Yeah, but what can we do about it?" Dante asked. "Everyone just can't be blessed with the gift of immortality. I mean yeah, we're not necessarily immortal, but we have a longer life span than the average human.
"You foolish reapers," Hsi Wu mocked. "You don't know what the joys of being immortal are and you never will."
"Why in Hell's name were those two still there?"
"As I recall, you spent a good thousand years or so trapped in the demon nether world," Jade confirmed. "And even after you managed to get out, we only ended up sending you all back."
"And what are you still doing here?" Mark questioned.
"No one said this is private property boy, therefore we have the right to be wherever we want." Drago declared.
"Yeah, well you're lucky that we don't blast you into the dimension the Devil threatened to send you to long ago," Dante stated.
"Then why don't you?" Drago mocked.
"Because whether we like it or not, my father has made all of you honored guests," Jade declared. "That doesn't mean that I can't make something look like it was an accident though, so I suggest you back off."
Hsi Wu and Drago actually looked scared after she said that.
"Come on you guys, let's go deposit these souls," Jade said walking away from the two demons.
Her friends just followed her.

Once Jade and her friends deposited the souls in the soul bin, they made their way back to the suites.
"Were those two like that ten years ago Jade?" Violet asked.
"Like what?" Jade asked.
"They're so cocky and arrogant." Violet stated.
"Well, I guess it goes to show you that some people never change," Mark said.
"So guys, what should we do tonight?" Dante asked changing the subject.
"Well, it's not the weekend, so I'd say the club is out of the question tonight," Jade stated.
"Yeah, and I don't think tonight's a movie night either," Violet added.
"I have a suggestion," Amber said.
"What is it Amber?" Mark asked.
"Why don't we throw a mini party in my suite," Amber suggested. "We can put on some music, play some games…have some drinks."
"Amber, we have to work tomorrow," Dante stated. "We can't be getting drunk the night before."
"Oh come on Dante, since when have any of us gotten a hangover?" Violet asked.
"She's makes a pretty good point actually," Mark said.
"Why don't we just see what happens later, and we'll decide from there," Jade suggested.
"All right, sounds fair enough to me," Violet stated.
"I agree," Dante said.
"Me too," Mark said.
"Should we invite Paco?" Amber questioned.
"He's out right now Amber," Jade stated. "We'll invite him if we run into him later. For now though, I suggest we go get out of these uniforms. I've said it before and I'll say it again, whoever designed these things was a pervert."
"Yeah, that's a good idea," Violet agreed.
So the reapers went to each of their separate suites to get changed.
