Hi all of my readers, here is the newest chapter from me and LadySongbird16. Sorry that it is so short, but we wanted to get it out today and between college starting and the two of us posting a new story on my account we've been kind of swamped. We hope everyone likes this chapter and please leave a review, feedback is always welcome.
Chapter 29
Questions were all that was running through everyone's heads once they found out that Zyon's grave had another visitor. Why would anyone else go near that grave? Didn't everybody besides Jade and the Devil hate Zyon? Is this all part of some kind of conspiracy? The J Team eventually found out about it, but not from Jade or her friends, or even the Dark King himself. They found out from one of their own, El Toro, who of course heard it from Paco. Nobody bothered bringing it up in front of Jade because they knew it would more than likely upset her. That didn't stop them from being curious though.
"I don't understand it," Jackie declared.
"There are a lot of things that we don't understand amigo," El Toro replied. "You're going to have to be a little more specific."
"Jade and the Devil made it very clear that nobody else liked Zyon," Jackie stated. "Why would dome go near his grave if they didn't like him?"
"Maybe it was another reaper," Viper said, "It was probably their idea of a cruel sick joke."
"Yes, but wouldn't they know that if the Devil found out that?" Tohru stated.
"Tohru does have a point," Uncle stated.
"Why are we so concerned about this anyway?" El Toro asked. "We didn't like Zyon either, especially since he tried to kill Jade."
"Because they must be doing this to mess with Jade," Jackie declared.
"Well, one thing is for sure," Viper said. "Whoever was there is no friend to anyone."

One Week Later
Jade and the Devil were making their weekly visit to Zyon's grave, and of course Mamoru was coming with them. As they walked through the cemetery they had a feeling that something wasn't right. Of course, nothing really felt right since they discovered the foot prints at Zyon's grave last week.
They weren't expecting what they saw when they finally reached Zyon's grave. It was completely desecrated
"Oh my God," Jade said running over to the grave.
Mamoru went over with her to check out the scene.
"It's gone!" Jade exclaimed. "Zyon's body has been taken.
"Who would do such a thing as despicable as desecrating a grave and taking a body though?" Mamoru asked.
"There are actually a few people I can think of," the Dark King declared. "Why they would want to take it though is unclear."
"We need to find out who did this, now," Jade stated.
"Jade, we can't figure who right here right now," the Devil stated.
"What are you saying?" Jade yelled. "Zyon's grave has been…"
"What we can do though is see that this is thoroughly investigated and make sure that the investigation does not stop until we find out who did this?"
"Why don't we just make a list of suspicious suspects and have the police investigate all of them?" Jade asked impatiently.
"Now Jade, a good leader always looks for facts before point fingers at someone," the Devil stated. "Now get the police on the phone and tell them to examine this grave immediately."
"Right," Jade said pulling out her cell phone.

Two Days Later
Jade and the Devil were really determined in making sure that whoever was behind the robbery of Zyon's body was captured and that the body itself was returned. The other reapers were even interrogated, including Jade's friends; even though Jade and the Devil both knew that none of them would ever do such a thing. There were a lot of reapers to interrogate, and Jade suspected a few of them. Obviously even when they were younger Jade and her friends seemed to be the only people besides the Dark King who really liked Zyon. So even though they would never say it at work and/or in front of Jade, a lot of them were probably glad that Zyon was dead.
Anyway, Jade and her friends were currently at work. The J Team had requested an audience with the Dark King. The guards were reluctant to let them in at first, but one of them left to go ask the Devil himself if it was okay for the J Team to enter. When he returned they were ushered inside the room.
"This better be important," the Devil said. "As you know in addition to my regular duties I have to make sure the investigation is under control."
"That is actually what we wanted to talk to you about your majesty," Jackie said.
"Well, what is it?" The Devil questioned.
"You seem to be very set on this investigation," Tohru said. "Is it for Jade?"
"Yes, and no," the Devil said. "Whether people know it or not, Zyon was practically my son; his actions cannot change that fact. At the same time though, Jade is just as effected as I am, and I do not wish to see her suffer like this anymore."
"We do not wish to see her suffer either anymore," Uncle declared.
"I know, you all looked out for her for so long I'd be surprised if you didn't show concern for her," the Dark King declared.
"Do you know who else there is to interrogate besides the other reapers?" El Toro asked.
"There are several Hellians with extensive criminal backgrounds for us to check," the Devil declared.
"The police didn't find anything at the crime scene that can help narrow down the suspects?" Viper questioned.
"No," the Devil replied. "No hair, no fingerprints, not even a drop of blood. Whoever did this has a talent for completely covering up their trail."
"Perhaps a cult did it?" Paco suggested.
"A cult?" The Devil questioned.
"A while back we ran into two of Jade's friends in the library," Viper confirmed.
"Uncle found a book, that mentioned the cults of Hell," Uncle stated.
"Yes, and one that caught our attention the mist was one called The Opposition," Jackie said.
"Yes, I remember them well," the Devil said. "My own advisors were conspiring against me."
"Do you know if any of them are still around and part of the Opposition?" Viper questioned.
"Reports of any cult activities diminished once Zyon was killed," the Devil confirmed. "I'm not even sure if any of them are in this part of the kingdom now. It is rather strange that the activity reports diminished once Zyon was killed though."
"Is the Opposition something to investigate then?" Paco asked.
"Yes, they are," the Devil said. "I request one thing from all of you though."
"And that is your majesty?" El Toro asked.
"Don't try looking for the Opposition yourselves," the Devil demanded.
