Welcome all to a Levi x Erwin fan-fiction! This is set after (spoiler alert) Levi's original squad is killed by the female titan! After all the chaos they went back to the HQ to continue trying to understand Eren's powers. Only this time Erwin is there. (This ship requested by a close friend -whom people call Levi. xD)
Erwin walked outside the building, watching the new scouts train with their captains and squads. So far his dream to push further and eradicate the titans hadn't fully worked out but it was good enough for now. Erwin's gaze swiveled to the door on the building a few feet away from him. Levi was walking in, Eren slowly dragging along behind him. Erwin began thinking of how Levi was taking this whole thing, his squad dying, having to choose from the new cadets for his team. He was pulled away from his thoughts when a captain called the end of the day's training. The large eyebrowed man began moving towards the door and entered the building.
Erwin's POV
As I walked in, Levi and Eren were leaning against the wall. It was clear Eren was glancing at his captain very often, waiting for the man of small stature to say something. Levi was unusually silent, though. He would at least give off his normal 'tch' or something, but Levi was doing nothing, saying nothing. I would put it off about him trying to figure out but this time there was something else. An edge that wasn't usually there. I watched them for a few moments longer before Levi walked off towards the mess hall. Eren followed along behind.
I went a while after them and entered, the conversations dying down. "I am seeing marked improvement in you new soldiers. Humanity has a great chance with your devotion. I can safely say that we have some great soldiers rising in the ranks amongst you. Thank you." I sat down at the table with Levi's squad across from Levi. Mikasa pushed some bread towards me and I could see that the girl they called Sasha had her hand slowly inching towards it. I waved my hand giving her the go ahead to eat it. She smiled and then basically pounced onto it like a cat to a mouse.
Levi's POV
Eren was following me like a puppy. It was adorable, but it needed to stop at some point. Erwin came and sat with us after giving a small speech. Tch, for once it wasn't a three hour long speech. Erwin kept staring at me which was really uncomfortable. He was using his little stare that was like "What the hell are you thinking right now?" I stood up just as Sasha finished and she stared at my half loaf of bread. I shrugged and she dived onto it. Eren began to stand up but I shoved him back into his chair, leading to him letting out a loud yelp. People quieted down but picked it up again, realizing it was just him. I walked off and wandered the halls for a while. I could hear the foot steps behind me, he was bad at hiding them since he was so tall. I took another turn and walked in a door, leaving it open behind me before gently sitting down on my bed. I stared as the wall as I heard the door shut with a soft thud. The foot steps came closer, right behind me, before stopping abruptly. "Levi." Erwin whispered.
