I opened my eyes and stared around me, realizing this wasn't the Chamber of Secrets. I no longer feel tired and weak, I don't even feel cold. Am I dead? Did I die in the Chamber of Secrets and I'm now in the afterlife? If that's true then it isn't how I thought it would be, in fact the afterlife looks a lot like Platform 9 3/4, if the station was cleaner, had no trains, and was covered in a weird white mist. I was expecting green grass, fruit trees, a river, and a bridge that I have to 'pass over'. Wait, maybe this is the staging area to the after life? Maybe I board a train and go on. I glanced around to see if I could see a train anywhere but I only found a stone bench and something in the distance.

It looks like a tiny speck in the distance. I think the speck is getting closer. Sure enough it did come closer and I could see the outline of a person, closer and closer it came until I could it became familiar. I took off running toward the figure and threw my arms around his neck shouting, "Pa." Septimus Weasley, my paternal grandfather stared down at me with love in his eyes.

"Well I had hoped I would never see you in this situation little one. I actually thought Fred and George would be here by now with all the dangerous stuff they do."

"What is this place Pa,"

"This is the here and the know, the place between the worlds."

"So Im dead? Riddle killed me."

"No you are not dead, you are close though and that's why your here."

"Oh, well then why are you here?"

"Im here to greet you. Whenever somebody is between life and death they are sent here and greeted by someone they love who has past on."

"Im glad you were the one who greeted me, Ive missed you."

"I have missed you too and my dear Cedrella. How is she doing?"

"Grandma's doing good, she just get's our names mixed up a lot and can't really remember anything. Basically her mind is going down hill while she has the physical strength of a twenty year old."

"She always did have more physical strength then mental. How's the family."

"Excellent." I went on to tell Grandpa about everything that has happened since he passed away. I was having such a great time I forgot about the world I had left and the way I left it. "Grandpa do I have to go back or can I stay here with you?"

"It's your decision about where you go from here."

"I love you Grandpa and I liked that I got to see you but your the only reason I would stay here. In the other world I have so many reasons to stay and I have my whole life ahead of me. I can just hang out at home with mum."

"Now when on Earth would you stay home instead of going to Hogwarts, don't you like it there?"

"I do, it's just that there going to expel me after this, aren't they?"

"I wouldn't bet on it."

"I love you Grandpa," I gave one last hug and watched as he drifted off into the mist.

When I woke up next I was lying on the cold hard floor of the Chamber of Secrets. I feel as if somebody ripped my head in two and pounded on both parts with a hammer. I moaned, hoping that the noise would get rid of the pounding pain in my head. I sat up and opened my eyes, looking around to see where Riddle went, but instead I saw a gigantic green snake sprawled across the chamber floor. The snake had to be a mile long and was defiantly dead. Where it's eyes should have been were two large, bloody holes, they weren't the only thing that was bloody as I caught sight of Harry. Harry Potter, my harry, was sitting in front of me with concern in his beautiful green eyes. My eyes traveled downward to see that his robes were ripped and that he was holding Tom's diary. Oh no, this is it, this really it the end.

I'm going to be expelled I thought will gasping for air. I'm going to have to leave Hogwarts, the place I have always wanted to be, disappointing my family and Harry along the way. I started to cry. "Harry?" What must he think of me. "Oh, Harry I tried to tell you at the breakfast table..." He must think I'm evil for doing all that dreadful stuff. "... but I couldn't say it in front of Percy." I petrified his best friend and my brothers girlfriend, how can he not think it about me. "It was me Harry, but I swear I..." I have to confess maybe things won't be that bad if I confess. "... didn't mean to... Riddle made me... He took me... over and how did you kill that thing? Where Riddle? The last thing I remember was him coming out of the diary." I stuttered out, my body shaking with sobs.

"It's all right," Harry said, not mad at all and still looking at me with concern. Harry held up the diary and there I saw ink dripping out of a hole, I glanced at his other hand an there was a fang. Harry stabbed the diary with a snake fang. "Riddle's finished, him and the Basilisk." Basilisk? That must be the giant snake. "Come on Ginny let's get out of here."

"I'm going to be expelled." I cried while Harry helped me to my feet. I'm too sad to be excited that Harry is holding my hand. "I've wanted to come to Hogwarts ever since Bill came. Now I'll have to leave and what will mum and dad say?" There is a flame colored bird hovering near the entrance, he sends off a calm feeling, and it's him I concentrate on as Harry helps me over the gigantic Basilisks body. We walk out of that dreadful chamber and I can hear the doors close behind us with a hissss. Harry leads me down a long corridor that I defiantly don't remember going down when I was headed to the chamber. I really don't remember the large wall of rock blocking the corridor but Harry seems too. I can sense excitement rushing through Harry's hand.

"Ron. Ginny's okay I got her." I look up and there is Ron's face staring at me through a gap in the rock hole. For once in his life Ron looks glad to see me.

"GINNY!" Ron cries, reaching his arm through the rock hole and helping me through. As soon as I'm on the other side Ron envelops me in a gigantic hug. "You're alive! I don't believe it! What happened? How? What? Where did that bird come from?"

"He's Dumbledore's," Harry explained while crawling through the rock hole.

"How come you got a sword?"

"I'll explain when we get out of here?"

Good I thought, I don't want to be in this stupid corridor anymore, I'm a mess and I'm still crying. I haven't cried this much since Charlie moved to Romania.

"But..."

"Later, where's Lockhart?"

"Down there, he's in a bit of a state." Ron led us to where Professor Lockhart was sitting by himself, cross legged, and humming. He looked a bit insane, well more than usual. "He's memories gone. The memory charm backfired hit him instead of us. He doesn't have a clue who he is or where he is or who we are. I told him to come here, he's a danger to himself.

"Hello," Lockhart looked up at us. "Odd sort of place this is. Do you live here?"

"No," Ron said.

"Have you thought about how were going to get back up this." I glanced at the steep black pipe. Great were going to die here and then my dead body will be expelled. I thought, feeling exceptionally sorry for myself.

"He looks like he wants you to grab hold." I glanced back up at Ron's words to see that the bird was fluttering in front of the giant pipe. "But you're much to heavy for a bird to pull up there.

"Fox isn't a ordinary bird." Harry said. "Ginny grab Ron's hand, Professor Lockhart?" Ron took my hand in his and then shouted at Professor Lockhart.

"He means you."

"You grab hold of Ginny's other hand." I grimaced as Lockhart took hold of my other hand and then watch as Harry took hold of Ron's other hand and grabbed Fox's tail with his free hand. We must have been a strange sight to anybody who was watching; the bird, then Harry, Ron, me, and Professor Lockhart. Of course nobody was watching but when we flew out of the tunnel and onto the floor of the girl's bathroom, Moaning Myrtle stared at us in shock.

"I thought you were dead?"

"There's no need to sound so disappointed."

"Oh no I just thought that if you had died you would be welcome to share my toilet." I'm too depressed to even be worried about the fact that a ghost is flirting with my man. I wasn't the only one who was thinking this for as soon as the bathroom door closed Ron said.

"Yuck. I believe Myrtle has taken to you Harry, look's like you have competition Ginny." This didn't even phase me as my body still shook with sobs. "Where now?"

We didn't need to make up our minds as Fox started to lead the way, I followed glumly behind still clinging to Ron's arm. I figure my last memory of Hogwarts should be with one of my brothers. Fox led us up to Professor McGonagall's office where Harry knocked. The door flew open.
