Universal' that was written by Jendra.

EPISODE 039: DELICATE BALANCE, PART III

Usagi was in the hands of the Crystal Sailors. She had made a sacrifice for the
sake of their future. She decided to allow the Ice Titan to have the energy
he needed from Usagi's body to fulfill his objective, however Usagi believed
that she was the one who could fulfill the prophecy of the Chosen One and the
Legendary Soldier defeating the common enemy... Krun Bruikas, however to do
that Usagi felt that only she could make it happen. Over the last several
months, everyone risked themselves for Usagi. Even Crystallina took risks
in placing herself in Usagi when Usagi was a baby, so Usagi decided to take
the biggest risk of all, to give her lifeforce energy to the ice Titan. This
was a extreme big risk. Mamoru was by Usagi's bedside and didn't want to
part from her. He couldn't understand why she would take a risk like that.

"She is putting her life on the line."

Neeblix thought. A voice was heard and a silvery haired woman appeared.

"She put her life in the line for the sake of everyone's future as well
as her own."

Queen CrystalStar explained.

"So, Usagi knows the risks involved in having her energy drained?"

Ami thought while monitoring Usagi's stats on her mini computer.

"Yes. This is part of her training."

Queen CrystalStar told them with a sweet smile. Then everyone watched
Usagi as she slept and suddenly a pink flash occurred around Usagi's
heart and everyone wondered what was going on.

"It's the merging of hearts."

Queen CrystalStar explained.

"Merging of hearts?"

Makoto asked.

"Yes, when Crystallina and Usagi's are in sync with each other, then the
final merge will occur, the merging of their hearts. With Crystallina
and Usagi's hearts now linked as one, their chances of ending this
Crystal War looks bright. Usagi believed she can end this Crystal
War."

Queen CrystalStar told them.

"I see."

Mamoru thought.

"Merging of the hearts can only occur between a Celestial Being and that
of a human after the other two merges was completed. Usagi has the appearance
of Crystallina, but the body and the mind is that of Usagi. But both Usagi
and Crystallina are forever linked together."

Queen CrystalStar explained the final merge.

"So, the final merge? Why wasn't we told?"

Neeblix asked.

"It really wasn't secret, it was just the way I planned it. That Crystallina
and Usagi would be merged when their common goals would be achieved."

Queen CrystalStar explained why the third and final merge took place.
Luna, Artemis, Diana, and Tsuki were there. Tsuki was asleep, but the
other three Guardian Cats were awake.

"I had many times in the past to get Usagi to live and fulfill her
destiny, but I am surprised at Usagi's determination."

Luna thought as she remembered all the times she had to get Usagi
to fight the evil. Recently, Usagi hasn't been Sailor Moon since
the time Crystallina and herself were first merged.

"That's because Usagi was unstable Luna. Usagi still has weaknesses
like the rest of us. Usagi has two great weaknesses, the first Kuraizuishou,
if her skin is pierced by Kuraizuishou, it could kill her and if her
energy gets totally drained, she can be killed. But, Usagi only had
part of her energy drained."

Queen CrystalStar explained again. Luna and Artemis watched Usagi
rest. They were wondering how Usagi was doing.

"How is she Ami?"

Artemis asked.

"she's resting comfortably for now. Pulse seems normal as well as her breathing.
The particle transfer is going slowly due to the massive energy drain."

Ami explained.

"That's good her stats are fine. I wonder how long can she stay this way?"

Makoto asked.

"I don't know."

Ami replied.

"I guess we'll just find out."

Rei thought.

"My friends I must go for now. If you ever need me, please call for me and I'll appear.
Take care of my daughter. Her fate is in your hands."

Queen CrystalStar spoke and vanished. Some time had passed and Usagi's energy was just
over fifty percent. The energy was going slowly. The Ice Titan appeared outside.
Ami and Neeblix ran outside.

"We are ready for the next session."

The Ice Titan demanded. Ami and Neeblix approached.

"Usagi isn't ready yet. She's still in a deep sleep. No one can wake her. The particle
transfer is going very slow due to the amount of energy was taken out. Be patient, you'll
get your energy when she is ready. If you want, I can show you her stats to see I am
not lying. I suggest you like it."

Ami replied. The Ice Titan came over to where Ami was and Ami showed him.

"She's controlled by the Pink Crystal. It charges her depending how much energy is left
in her body and how much was used or drained. The process is extremely slow to prevent
serious issues."

Ami explained.

"Very well, Mercury, she might be my enemy, but there's no honor in draining energy
from a defenseless opponent. Takalon, let's go."

The Ice Titan agreed with Ami and he and Takalon left.

"Well, at least he has some dignity in him."

Neeblix thought out loud. A week later, Naru and Umino met Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna, and
Hotaru near Usagi's house and they were going to go to the Hikawa Shrine, but Morgoth, Belogore,
and Takalon stopped in their tracks.

"You six are to surrender to us. It's the will of the master. He is trying to isolate
your princess for the final journey and battle. Surrender peacefully or else."

Takalon ordered. Naru, Umino, Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna, and Hotaru surrendered without
fighting. Then the henchmen of the Ice Titan teleported them away and vanished. Then the
Ice Titan appeared.

"The end of the Crystal War is approaching and I have taken Naru, Umino, Haruka, Michiru,
Setsuna, and Hotaru as my prizes. I'll come for the rest of you soon enough. If Usagi
can win against me and my master, then her prize is she gets her friends back. I'll come
for the rest of you soon enough!"

The Ice Titan revealed and left.

"He is singling every out."

Neeblix thought. Another week and a half, Usagi's energy was up to 100% again. First Tsuki
and a little later, Usagi was awake too. The Crystal Guardians and Crystal Guards spoke
to her.

"Usagi are you okay?"

Kunzite asked.

"Yes, I am fine. Why don't you all rest yourselves for a moment. The next drain will take
place soon."

Usagi answered. She went outside.

"Princess."

Neeblix greeted her.

"Hello Neeblix, any interesting happen while I was asleep?"

Usagi asked.

"Yes princess. The Ice Titan wanted to take your energy some time ago, but he saw no honor
taking energy from someone that's asleep and defenseless."

Neeblix reported.

"I see, anything else?"

Usagi asked.

"Yes, Naru, Umino, Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna, and Hotaru were all captured. He said they
will be your prizes if you win."

Neeblix reported the recent events.

"Thanks for telling me. Mercury, Mars, Venus, and Jupiter I need you to be ready. The
next drain. I am about to call the Ice Titan."

Usagi announced.

"Right."

Ami agreed. Usagi called for the Ice Titian and he appeared. Usagi spoke again.

"It may be weeks before you can get more energy. The transfer will be very slow. So
be patient, you'll get your energy only when I am fully charged and awake."

Usagi told him and then she turned to the others.

"I am ready. Mars and Jupiter, get ready."

Usagi announced and she went and turned around and faced Neeblix and the others.
Takalon drained her energy again and then they left and Rei and Makoto took
Usagi back inside. After a couple of hours Rei talked to Ami.

"How is she doing?"

Rei asked.

"Not too well. Her body is suffering from too much draining of energy, but her pulse
still seems normal."

Ami replied while looking at the mini computer.

"I hope she can pull through the other energy drains."

Rei thought.

"Me too. Usagi is a very tough girl. She make it though, you'll see."
