Eighteen: War
Jakeline moved around her camp with ease and with grace that a lot of the soldiers would look at her in surprise. She was taking care of the patients making sure they were alright, she knew that some of them were in pain and she was trying to make their pain not be so much and if she used some of her magic to make them laugh, no one could blame her.
"Miss Frost, ya think I can go back into the field?" the soldier asked him. Jakeline knew that would not be the case he would most likely be sent home.
"When you can finally get up." she tells him.
"Aww, why ya have ta be so mean."
"I'm not." She tells him with a smile. She was looking around because she has a bad feeling. She knew from snooping around that Bucky has been taken and she wants to go and help him but she can't. She also knows Steve can't help because he was put in a circus that is what he tells her, she had seen him in one of his shows from afar and she could tell he was annoyed. She was close to the camp he was going to be soon and she hoped that she could see his show again mostly to see him.

Later that night Jakeline woke up with the Wind coming her way and giving her a subtle warning, she knew something bad was happening. She got up slowly and put on her boots before her jacket. She got out and went to check on her patients. One of the nurses was there already.
"What are you doing up, Jakeline?" the Linda a nurse in her unit asked her. Linda was the opposite of Jakeline in looks with dark hair and
"I couldn't sleep; I think I should start my shift early." She told the Linda.
"Nightmares?" Linda asked.
"The norm." she replied, the Nurse understood to her Jakeline was not the first Nurse with Nightmares and she wouldn't be the last, Linda just hoped that it wouldn't stop her positive attitude.
"Well come help then." Linda said. Jakeline began to move around. "It's snowing, I hope we don't get a blizzard it will be the worst thing in the world right now."
"We won't." Jakeline assured her. But she could still hear the Wind and it was warning her, that's when she heard it.

"Can you send a letter to Jakeline?" Steve asks Peggy as he is getting ready to go save his best friend.
"Shouldn't you be doing that?" Peggy asked him. She knew of Jakeline, she was the woman Steve talked about and had in his compass, a picture of a young woman. She felt a little jealous but she could see the adoration in Steve's eyes when he spoke of his fiancé.
"She won't take it kindly that I went there." Steve tells her.
"Well, I might not have a job than, but I will send her a letter." Peggy tells him.
"Thank-you." Steve's tells her.
$LINE BREAK, LINE BREAK$
Jakeline and Linda are waiting and checking on their patients, until Linda finally yawns.
"My shift is almost over." She says.
"Go, you need the rest." Jakeline tells her.
"You're a true friend." Linda tells her. She was walking away when the alarms sounded and all everyone was woken up with was a scream, a scream of someone they all knew.
"Stay down!" Jakeline snaps the order. She grabs one of the guns since she can't grab her staff.

Most of the soldier were shocked when they were helping because they had expected to see the entire hospital wing lost and shot down or frozen since a lot of the camps had gotten a nasty storm, but it still had all the solider in and standing in the middle was a nurse with a gun in her hands.
"Who are you?" she asked them.
"Colonel Marsh, Ma'am, You have done your country proud this day." He told her. "We are here to move you over."

Jakeline arrived in the bank and she turned to see it, she saw a woman with brown hair and red lips, with a suit.
"Hello, I'm Peggy Carter…."
"Do you work with Steve Rogers, if you don't mind me asking?" Jakeline asked and the woman looked at her with wide eyes. Peggy knew this woman, she had seen her picture with Steve many times and a painting.
"You're Jakeline Frost, his fiancé." She said.
"Yes, do you know if Steve is here?" she asked. Peggy calmed down and began to explain everything. Peggy believed that she would be upset but she just smiled.
"Are you alright?" Peggy asked.
"Yes, I know Steve and if he thinks he is doing the right thing so do I." Jakeline told her with a smile.
"So you are not oppose."
"I just hope he comes back with Bucky at his side." Jakeline told her.
$LINE BREAK, LINE BREAK$
"What happened to you?" Bucky asked Steve.
"I joined the army." Steve told him.
"Is it permanent?"
"So far it is." Steve told him. They walked over to find the exit when Steve saw the man walking away, who turned to them.
"Captain America, how exciting, I'm a great fan of your films." The man told him. They began to walk toward each other in the small bridge in the burning building. "So, Dr. Erskine managed it after all not exactly an improvement but still impressive."
Steve couldn't help it since this was the men that send Erskine to be killed, so he punched him. "You got no idea." He said. The man turned around to try to hit him, but he blocked it with his shield, it shocked him when the shield was dented, he took out his gun just it could be kicked.
"No matter, what lies Erskine told you, you see I was his greatest success." The man said and he ripped away his mask, leaving it a Red Skull.
"You don't have one of those do you." Bucky asked.
"You are diluted, you pretend you are a simple soldier but you are just afraid to admit you we have left humanity behind." He said. "Unlike you I embrace it proudly, without fear."
"Then how come you're running?" Steve asked.

The Colonel was getting ready to send out letter for all the other soldiers. When they heard a noise. Peggy smiled and she turned to see Jakeline coming out and the smile that came out of her lips. Steve was walking over with the rest of the soldiers.
"Reporting for duty sir." Steve told him.
"At ease soldier." The Colonel told him.
"Steve!" he looked up from Peggy and the other's to look for Jakeline. It seemed like the sea parted with soldiers. Jakeline came forward and they all looked at each other, Jakeline was trying to see if he was still her Steve, but she knew he was, Steve was worried Jakeline wouldn't care for him now that he looked like this, they smiled at each other and Steve pulled Jakeline close and they kissed to the hoots of the other soldiers.
"A cheer for Captain America!" Bucky said and everyone cheered.
