Mischief's Daughter

Nineteen: Royal Family

'Love, I'm so sorry.' She said.

'What do you mean?' he asked.

'I don't think I have long for this earth.' She whispered.

'No, don't say that; I can't lose you.' Loki told her.

'I have too, I wish for you to promise me, you will take care of Jakeline.' Eirawen said and Loki knew he had just been given the name of their daughter.

'Eira.' He said. 'I promise, please don't.'

'I will give you a promise; I will come back to you.' Eirawen told him and touched his face. Loki opened his eyes and he saw a fuzzy vision of blue eyes and brown hair.

'Please, please.' He begged but it was in vain. Eirawen was gone.

Loki woke up and sweating; it had been such a long time since he had that dream. But it had been recurrent for the past three months and he didn't like it. It was bothering him it has to do with the fact that someone reminded him so much of Eirawen.

"Why?" Loki said. He lay back down and began to prepare he needed to go and there was only one reason he had to return to Asgard.

The thing he didn't realize was the fact that he was not the only one that had that dream, Darcy woke up and she felt tears coming to her eyes and she sobbed because it hurt.

Jakeline and Darcy were making breakfast when Darcy got the strength to ask.

"Jack?"

"Yeah?" Jakeline told her.

"I have a question…" she was stopped when Loki stood there.

"Jakeline I need to talk to you." Loki tells her. Jakeline turns to Darcy.

"I'll talk to you later." Darcy tells her.

"Okay, coming." She tells Loki. They both walk away and Darcy looks at them, the wind moves her hair and she shakes her head.

"You know you could at-least be nice." Jakeline tells Loki.

"I am nice to everyone."

"Not to Darcy." Jakeline tells him.

"Darcy is not the problem." Loki lied.

"I think she is, Dad's you've woken up from nightmares I can sense them and you cannot even look at Darcy in the face, why?"

"No reason, now if your curiosity is satisfied, I do have things to tell you." Loki told her.

"What is it?"

"We are leaving to Asgard in two days."

"What?"

"It is time you see Asgard." Loki told her.

"Alright." Jakeline tells him.

"You will be leaving?" Steve asks her.

"Dad wants me to go meet my grandparents." Jakeline tells him.

"You don't think they will try to hurt you." Steve tells her.

"I hope not, but I am not sure I am taking protections." Jakeline tells him.

"I thought he would take longer to take you." Steve tells her.

"I think it has to do with visiting my grandparents." She tells him.

"He's running away from Darcy?"

"You saw it?" Jakeline tells him.

"Everyone has seen it and I wonder why, Darcy hasn't done anything." Steve tells her.

"I don't know either." Jakeline says. "I think she reminds him of someone but I don't know who?"

Thor, Loki and Jakeline were standing on the roof.

"Be careful." Clint tells Jakeline.

"I will." She says.

"Heimdallr open the Bifrost." Thor boomed out. Jakeline breathed in and held onto Loki's arm.

They arrived to the Bifrost and Jakeline looked around until her eyes landed on Heimdallr.

"Princes Thor, Loki your parents are waiting for you." Heimdallr told them. "Welcome to Asgard Princess Jakeline."

"Hello." Jakeline told him politely. She was surprised when she was lifted off the ground by the wind in Asgard. "Put me back on the ground." Jakeline told the wind with a small smile on her face and she twisted the wind around her hand.

"You made friends with the wind already, niece." Thor told her.

"Yes, I did, he's very different from my Wind on Midgard." Jakeline told them. They began to walk toward the front of the Asgard. Jakeline was looking around and she was surprised and awed by the place, but she didn't have regrets of not being raised here.

"We are taking quite a long time." Jakeline tells them.

They arrived to the palace room and Jakeline breathed in getting ready, when she is grabbed by the maid.

"Hey!" Jakeline says and gets ready to freeze them into the ground.

"They want to get you ready." Loki tells her.

"Don't' I look alright?" she asked.

"Asgardian clothes or…"Jakeline sighed and snapped her fingers until she was in her warrior costume.

"There, can we go now." Jakeline told her Father, she really wanted to get everything over with and still didn't trust that she would be attacked here. The maids were about to protest.

"Tis fine." They all turned to look at the Queen standing there.

"Mother." Thor said with a smile and hugged her.

"Thor is good to see you my son." Frigga told him. "Now Loki my son I wish to meet my granddaughter."

"Mother; meet Jakeline the Princess of Winter and my daughter." Loki told her.

"Hello dear."

"Hello, um…Your Majesty." She said. Frigga just moved forward and embraced her. Jakeline returned the hug.

"It's grandmother dear, you are family after all." Frigga tells her. They walked together toward the throne room and were trying to make things less awkward.

Steve was looking up at the sky; he knew that Jakeline could be fine. He still worried; he heard noise and turned to look at Darcy.

"Hey, looking at the sky." Darcy told him.

"Yes." Steve replied.

"I worried about Loki as well." Darcy told him.

"Really?" Steve asked because he knew that she didn't speak with Loki. But she seemed to be incredibly serious. He was beginning to wonder about something else.

"Yeah, I always worried when he left to Asgard he hate it going." Darcy told him and Steve looked at her.

"Jakeline was just worried, of going."

"Loki will bring her home."

"Thor, Loki you have come home." The voice boomed and Jakeline looked up to see Odin sitting on his throne and looking at them. His gaze landed on her and she looked right back at him.

"This is your daughter?" Odin said.

"Yes, Jakeline come forward please meet your grandfather Odin."

"Hello." Jakeline said. "I'm Princess Jakeline of the Winter Lands."

"Hmm…you are a Princess of Asgard not just the Winter Lands, I have waited long for you to come and I heard of your own adopted son and your fiancé, I could say that if you change your mind about the mortal they are great warriors here to marry you."

"With all due respect All-Father, I wouldn't change Steve for anyone." Jakeline told him.

"I suppose I should not be surprised." Odin tells her, Jakeline only gives him a nod.

"There will be a feast in the honor of you coming home for the first and hope that it is not the last time." Odin tells her.

$LINE BREAK, LINE BREAK$

Jakeline and Loki spent their time together since she still didn't trust anyone else to feel better in the place. As she they were both training they didn't see the five people that came inside.

"So this is your niece?" they both stopped and turned to see the Warriors Three and Lady Sif.

"Don't tell me she uses magic as well." Fandral told them. Jakeline smirked to Loki as they came forward and she moved her hand making the floor into ice and Fandral fell down to the floor.

"Loki." Sif said and Loki just looked at her indifferently.

"I can tell why you never liked returning, if you get blamed easily." Jakeline told her Father and she unfreeze the floor.

"Jakeline, that was really good." Thor told him with a smile.

"Thanks Uncle Thor." Jakeline replied and went to hug him. "You must be the Warrior Three and Lady Sif."

"You are truly Loki's daughter."

"Yes, I am." She told Volstagg.

$LINE BREAK, LINE BREAK$

"Welcome to this special feast, it is done to welcome my second son's daughter Jakeline Frost Lokidottir, Princess of Winter and Asgard we welcome her to our ranks." Odin said. Jakeline hears screams and she wonders why she is being welcomed so warmly it does not make sense at all.

"Stop worrying." Loki tells her.

Jakeline began to have fun and she moved around but even if all of this was nice she still missed her family and wanted to actually be home. As she went to the Bifrost she looked around and she saw Heimdallr.

"Should you not be in the feast it is in your honor?" he asked her.

"I…I don't know what my grandfather plans." She told him.

"I wish to make amends." She turned to see Odin standing there. "I am well aware that I am not the greatest Father and I have harmed your plenty causing him to not bring you, now I want to do what is right."

"I cannot say I trust you, but I will give you a chance." Jakeline told him, but she could see that he meant it.
