EPISODE 045: THE JOURNEY BEGINS, PART 1

Over the next few days, Usagi was training and focusing
on the trials that laid in wait for her. She trained
hard at the Hikawa Shrine. Ojii-san and Yuuichirou
noticed Usagi train hard every day. Yuuichirou came up
to Usagi to stop her and directed her to some steps. Ojii-San
also joined them.

"You're training very hard Usagi-Chan."

Yuuchirou stated.

"I have to be ready. I leave in a few days for the North Pole."

Usagi answered.

"The north pole?"

Yuuchirou and Ojii-san yelled at once.

"That's where the Ice Titan is and that's where I have
to fight him."

Usagi replied to them. They looked a bit shocked.

"THE NORTH POLE!?"

They shouted.

"A mere human can't survive those conditions."

Ojii-San stated.

"I am however not human. I can survive those conditions.
See those cuts on your right arm Yuuchirou? Watch."

Usagi answered placing her hands on his arm and her hands
began to glow and she healed him there right on the spot.

"Thanks."

Yuuchirou thanked her.

"It was nothing. I hadn't been human since I was born.
Remember when I wasn't doing well with those nightmares
and such?"

Usagi asked.

"I remember. Don't you Ojii-San?"

Yuuchirou replied as memories flooded his mind.

"Yes. I remember Rei trying to cheer Usagi up back
those days."

Ojii-San stated.

"Right, back then, I didn't have this Pink Crystal and I
was so unstable. But then a tragedy occurred and I became
what you see before you. I hope seeing a girl with turquoise
blue hair with green eyes and wearing a pink dress with
blue accents bother you."

Usagi replied as she looked at them with a twinkle in her
eyes.

"Not at all."

Yuuchirou replied as he smiled.

"See, I have Crystallina's appearance, but it still
my body and my mind that dominates, but Crystallina
are unified for one purpose. To defeat the Ice
Titan.

Usagi replied. She brought the Pink Crystal
close to Yuuchirou and Ojii-san. She spoke
again.

"Feel how warm this crystal is. And the light
it gives?"

She asked.

"It's beautiful."

Yuuchirou commented.

"Without this crystal I'll die. But the crystal has filled my
body with large amounts of energy. It also gives me supernatural
abilities."

Usagi stated.

"It doesn't bother you, Usagi-Chan."

Yuuchirou stated.

"Not unless a girl with turquoise blue hair wearing a
pink dress bothers you Yuuchirou."

Usagi told him.

"Not it all. Just be yourself, Usagi-Chan!"

Yuuchirou replied. Usagi stood up.

"I have to go. I have a long journey a head of me."

Usagi told them. And she ran off towards the Tsukino
house. Usagi spent the night at the Tsukino house.
ChibiUsa was there. She was the only one there
that didn't get captured by the Ice Titan. Sarah
came over to see Usagi before she took off.

"Are you sure you want to do this?"

Sarah asked. Usagi turned towards Sarah.

"You know I have to."

Usagi replied. Usagi turned towards the window. Tsuki,
Diana, Luna, and Artemis looked at Usagi. Tsuki
spoke.

"This is Usagi-Sama's destiny to face the two biggest
evil that the world has ever seen. Only she can win.
Trust in her Sarah."

Tsuki told her. Usagi looked at Tsuki.

"She's right. The journey is bound to be difficult.
I've been through worse."

Usagi thought.

"I trust you Usagi-Chan, just be safe."

Sarah replied.

"I trust in her, I always have."

ChibiUsa stated knowing Usagi could save everyone.
That night, Usagi had a good dinner with the Tsukino's
and they watched a movie together. The next day.

"I have to go. The time for me has come for me to
go and save my friends."

Usagi told her family.

"When will you return?"

Ikuko asked.

"To tell the truth, I have no idea."

Usagi replied.

"You can't go."

Luna protested.

"I have to Luna or the prophecy won't be fulfilled."

Usagi replied.

"The journey is sure to be tough."

Ikuko stated.

"I am sure it won't be easy."

Usagi replied in a calm voice.

"Which way will you travel?"

Kenji asked.

"East to the United States and then north through
Canada and then to the North Pole."

Usagi explained.

"Why don't you just go north?"

Shingo asked.

"Too simply and easy and it may be too risky taking
a direct approach. Plus, I may get to see some sites."

Usagi stated. She grabbed her brooch.

"I have all I need. Just wish me success that I can
pull off in defeating the Ice Titan and Krun Bruikas."

She answered. She knew she was ready. The others worried
that something might go wrong.

"Goodbye, I'll be back before you know it."

She tried to reassure them. Then she went to the balcony.
Luna, Artemis, Diana, Tsuki, and ChibiUsa walked out on
the balcony. Then lifted herself from the Balcony.

"Destiny awaits. I will not run or shed tears. I'll
be victorious and will return with everyone. Farewell."

Usagi vowed, extending her wings and then flew off
towards the east and over the pacific ocean. She never
flew over the ocean before, but doing this made her
a bit excite. At the Ice Titan's Palace.

"Your princess is on her way here Nitara."

The Ice Titan announced.

"You can't stop the prophecy."

Nitara replied. Her and Mamoru were both chained up.
The others were in cages.

"We will have to see about that. I am going to make
her journey a hard one you see. She has a powerful
connection to both to you and Mamoru, so I will
hurt those whom she loves. I'll wear her out
before she can get here."

The Ice Titan spoke to no one in particular.
He wanted to make sure that Usagi's journey was
going to as rough as possible to her. Throughout
the rest of the day, the journey was smooth. That
night, Usagi stopped at the Hawaiian Islands. On
the Island of Oahu.. She set herself down in
a park in Honolulu. Not many people were around.
She would have a good night resting in the park
before continuing her journey in the morning.
