Thirty-Four: New Home

Now with Clint being her son 'officially' she wanted to give him a home and that meant one thing buying an apartment. The last one she bought had been near Steve and Bucky; she still felt a pang of hurt about that. She had to look for a while and she found it.

"Are you sure about this?" Icicle asked her.

"It does look nice."

"Very different from last time." Icicle told her.

"Do you think that Clint will like it?" she asked him.

"I think just the fact that he will have a home will make him happy. He is happy in the Winter Lands." Icicle told her. "All the other Winter Sprites like him."

"I know but we can't keep him with us all the time, he must grow with the humans." She told him.

"Are you ready to be that again?" Icicle asked her.

"Yes, I have to." Jakeline tells him.

Clint walked inside the apartment and it surprised him.

"We are going to live here?" he asks Jakeline.

"Yes." Jakeline said with a smile. "Do you like it?"

"Yeah, yes." Clint told her.

"Well I have everything ready for you."

"Uh, Jakeline who is this?" Clint asked looking at a picture of a young man who was really skinning.

"He is very important to me." Jakeline said with a soft sad smile.

"Is he the man that gave you the ring?"

"Yes." Jakeline told him.

"You loved him?"

"I was going to marry him." Jakeline tells him and it surprises him.

"Really."

"Uh-huh." She told him.

A year living with Jakeline, he was happy to do so. He had seen the world around and was really happy. Also he was tired, Jakeline was homeschooling him and it was really bard for things were different she wouldn't let him give up at all.

"Are you sure?" Clint asked Jakeline.

"I'm a sure that she is serious." He and Jakeline turned to a skeleton standing there.

"Jack?" Jakeline said with a smiled and went to hug him.

"Jakeline." He said and smiled. "Is good to see you once again, I heard from Icicle that you are here."

"Why did you ask?" Jakeline said.

"Oh, this is your son." Jack said with a smile, which still got Clint worried.

"Clint, this is the King of Halloween himself Jack Skellington or the Pumpkin King." Jakeline said.

"Hello." Clint said.

"Hello!" Jack said. "Now I came to see you because Halloween is coming and I have a party plan."

"You want me to send some snow."

"Please."

"Fine." Jakeline said.

"You can come too." Jack said before disappearing.

"Are we going?" Clint asked.

"Sure, just don't get scared." Jakeline said with a smile.

"I won't get scared."

"You sure."

Clint and Jakeline arrived in the Halloween world and it surprised Clint.

"Oh, that is a kid." One of the witches said and moved toward him until she saw Jakeline holding his shoulder.

"Hello." Jakeline said with a raised eyebrow knowing very well they would be in trouble if they touched Clint.

"Jakeline." She turned to Sally.

"Hello, Sally." Jakeline said. "Clint this is Jack's wife, Sally, Sally this is my son, Clint."

"Hello Clint, I hope you are ready." Sally told him.

"Yes." Clint told her with a smile.

Clint had fallen asleep and he was being carried by Jakeline.

"He's a good kid." Sally told her.

"I know." Jakeline said with a smile.

"You make a good Mother." Sally said.

"Thank-you very much Sally." Jakeline said.

"We weren't able to scare him." Sally said.

Clint's first birthday was very surprising; he was woken up by four types of Sprites coming from all the Seasons.

"Clinton; you have to get up." the Sprites told him.

"Why?" Clint asked but h was raised up by them and practically floating around the place and he arrived to the kitchen where he saw Jakeline standing there with the other Seasonal Spirits and Old Man Winter.

"Happy Birthday!" they shouted at him and he smiled as he saw the large cake right there.

"I hope you like it." Jakeline told him and Clint went so he could get the Birthday Song to him, before he blew the candles out and smiled.

"Thank-you." Clint whispered to Jakeline, who just hugged him and they didn't notice when the others took a picture.

"Present's." Rapunzel told them. Clint was moved to sit down and he looked at all of the presents which surprised him. Merida was the one to move forward and gave him a large gift.

"This is a gift from all of the seasons." Merida told him. Clint looked at the weirdly wrapped present, since it represent the four seasons. When he opened it slowly even if he could see everyone almost vibrate with excitement. He opened the box and inside was something he was surprised to see since Jakeline had not wanted to let him use the bow anymore. But in the box was a beautiful bow and arrows as well. Clint just did the same thing and hugged Jakeline tightly.
