Chapter 5: Night of the Chibi

Negi woke up with a smile as he got up and was glad he was in his own bed still due to Asuna's reactions to his unconscious sleeping habit. 'I wonder what Ayaka-san wants me for at her house. This will be my first visit to a student's home…should I ask Naruto-nii to come with me?' Negi wondered to himself as he went through his morning rituals of brushing his teeth, combing his hair and washing his face.

"Good morning Negi-kun!" Konoka said as she plated up some eggy bread for the small boy along with some juice.

"Ah Good morning Konoka-san, is Asuna-san on her paper round this morning?" Konoka nodded as Asuna had been asked to cover since someone called in sick and extra money did her no harm.

"Yep but she said she'll be back in time for us to take you to see Iincho. She rather insisted to be honest so I don't think leaving without her in an option." Konoka sat down opposite and took to her own toast but with a bit of soup on the side.

"You do not have to accompany me to see Ayaka-san I'm sure it's just questions over school work. I was going to call Naruto-nii and see if he would like to come as well." Negi said in between bites of his breakfast making a small mess of his face with all the crumbs earning a giggle from the girl across the table.

"If I remember Naruto-sensei has some commitments today so he may already be busy so you'll just have to let us take you down." Konoka told him wiping the boy's face and finishing her own breakfast before changing into some comfortable clothes.

It wasn't long before Asuna returned and got changed and they set off toward Ayaka's family home. "Gosh, I can't help but find this home more like a castle."

"Negi-sensei~! I'm so glad you ca-erh." Ayaka face planted seeing that her intended alone time with Negi was uprooted by the combination of Konoka and Asuna.

"What's with you Iincho, don't fall over the place like that. You'll ruin that nice dress." Asuna said with a flat expression on her face as Ayaka picked herself up.

"Asuna! What on earth are you doing here?" Ayaka nearly shouted while her maids came over to wipe her face.

"Duh I'm the brat's guardian; you know the person that makes sure no one weird gets too close to them. Who knows what would happen to him if I wasn't here." Asuna said smirking at her rival, not in love but just her general rival.

"What do you, mean by that, I'll teach you to speak badly of me." Ayaka too her combat stance while Asuna took her own not looking too serious.

"It's not bad if it's true but if you want to fight you got it." both were about to jump at each other until someone got in between and caught Ayaka's wrist and Asuna's ankle.

"Even on breaks you two still can't stop fighting each other." Naruto said turning to Negi and Konoka. "Ah good morning to you Negi, Konoka." He let the two girls and gave each a minor chop to the head. "Chose your battlegrounds better you two, there is a dojo remember?"

"Yes Naruto-sensei." Both girls replied before Asuna hit him in the arm with a minor blush due to her unintentional flashing when he caught her leg, stupid short skirts.

"Eh why are you here Naruto-nii, I thought you were busy." Negi asked curious but Naruto quickly winked at him.

"Why? The same reason as you to check on Ayaka same as you right?" Negi quickly nodded.

"Yes of course, I actually did want to get to know Ayaka-san better as well." Negi's words literally caused Ayaka's face to glow brighter than the sun to the point where she faked being dizzy.

"Oh Negi-sensei, such kind words overwhelm me. But of course such a confession should be met in equal so we shan't take it slow." Ayaka said her face getting redder.

"I think this is one of those moments I need to act as a guardian." Asuna said about to grab Ayaka's shoulder only to find her, leading Negi up the stairs.

"Let's take this too my room."

"Oh my she's fast." Konoka said smirking at Naruto and Asuna, the later shouting that Negi needed an adult.

When they got to the room Negi found it to be very large. So much bigger than his back home or even those of the dorms. "Wow, this is a room fit for a castle."

"I'm glad you think so Negi-sensei, by the way you wouldn't happen to enjoy herbal tea?" Ayaka asked as he butler and maid brought in a tray.

"Actually yes I do, are all these teas?" Negi asked as he sat down at the small table with Naruto while Asuna and Konoka went to look over the veranda.

"Yes, we have several teas from various plantations; choose any you'd like along with one of these cakes from the best bakers in the world." Ayaka said watching in joy as Negi made his decision and poured him a cup of his tea along with handing him a cake.

"Mmmnnn this is delicious, much better than anything I've tasted before. You are lucky to be able to have this all the time. What do you think Naruto-nii?" Negi questioned as Naruto forwent the tea and had a cake.

"It is delicious but I think Chizuru would have my head if I said any of these beat hers or Shizuna-kaa-san's." He and the other girls had a shiver remembering a time he did just that.

"Yes that was a strange day. Out of curiosity, what got you so fascinated by herbal teas?" Ayaka asked as Negi finished cleaning his face not wish for Konoka to wipe it again.

"Ah that is simple I got interested in herbal teas as my sister made them for when I was younger."

"That wasn't that long ago." Asuna muttered under her breath by the window while looking at Ayaka's face change expressions.

"Oh… you have an older sister?" Ayaka's tone was not her usual joyful one but Negi didn't notice as his hand was grabbed by Asuna.

"Come on brat, let's leave Miss Ritches and go for a swim." Negi look a little perplexed.

"Huh, swim?"

"Ayaka's home has a swimming pool Negi, don't worry I brought your swimming trunks with me just in case." Konoka replied as they left the room with Naruto in toe. "Did you bring your own swimwear Naruto-sensei?"

"You don't have to call me sensei out of class remember Konoka, but yes I did. Seems like a good day for it too. Come on Negi we'll get changed first." Naruto led Negi to the pool and we in and out fast so the girls could get ready.

When they did it appeared Ayaka had chosen a different swimsuit as opposed to the school issued one that Asuna and Konoka were in. Instead hers was a white bikini that hugged her developed frame but was not too immodest. Negi and Naruto were in simple swim shorts but only Naruto joined Asuna and Konoka in the pool while Negi remained with Ayaka.

"Ready to lose to me in a race again blondie?" Asuna asked Naruto as she gets close to the edge.

Naruto smirked at her challenge. "Remind me again when you won a race between us; it's usually me leaving you eating my dust." Asuna glared at the true statement. She had once caught up on him on a run mid paper-run.

"Ara, ara has the kappa finally met her match." Konoka giggled at the pair as Asuna cheated and set off first with the blonde teacher right behind her.

"Honestly Asuna-san can be so childish sometimes. Yet looking to you Negi-sensei you are so much more mature than her especially for being ten years old." Ayaka leaned back into her chair closing her eyes I'm memory. "Asuna and Konoka have always been that energetic though, even since early school years. Though Asuna was a lot more quiet compared to how she is now."

"Ohh, so you have been friends for Asuna-san for a very long time then." Negi said getting an instant response from Ayaka.

"Wh…Who would be friends with her? Asuna and I are enemies, Enemies!" Ayaka took a breath to calm down as she spotted a pair of eye one her. "Ehem, out interests have always clashed, and our sports festivals have had us up against each other as well."

Negi nodded taking a look out the window and saw a room across the way there seemed to be full of toys. "Hey what's the room over there, is it for your little sister?" Ayaka smiled a little forcefully gazing at the room.

"That room… it doesn't belong to anyone Negi-sensei. However…" Ayaka using the special ability of the female hammer space pulled out a basket of cookies. "Would you like one of these." Even her own staff seemed surprised how the tone shifted.

Negi didn't help as his eyes lit up in joy seeing the new snack. He ate them with gusto but took note that Ayaka was just watching him." Um Ayaka-san, aren't you going to eat anything?"

"No I'm fine thank you Negi-sensei. But may I ask something?" Negi nodded as he cleaned his face of crumbs. He lived to regret it slightly as he was hugged to Ayaka's chest slightly cutting off air supply. "Can I be your big sister too?"

"Oi shoto-con, let Negi go before you kill him!" Asuna shouted wanting nothing more than to kick her in the face, however Naruto stopped her via full nelson. Didn't stop her from kicking him in the knee and boy did that hurt.

"Calm down Asuna, Ayaka wouldn't take advantage of Negi like that." Naruto replied seeing that the shout of Asuna had allowed Negi to get free and live to breathe again.

"Like hell blondie, she can't help herself I mean you know her as much as I do. Give her an inch and she'll take it." Asuna said thankfully stopping her kicks on Naruto.

"How dare you Asuna-san! I was not doing anything as perverted as that. How like you to presume and cause me problems!" Ayaka fumed as she got close to Asuna's face and she would have gone into attack mode if Naruto or Negi were absent from the room.

"Yeah right it's just me pointing out when you are doing something stupid, nothing more. Not my fault if you do stupid stuff every day." Asuna returned wanting to attack Ayaka herself but Naruto still had a hand on her shoulder no doubt knowing how things may have turned out.

"Grrrr, that's it I've had enough of you insulting me, you get off my property!" Ayaka pointed to Asuna who let out a sigh turning to leave.

"Yeah, yeah I'll just get changed and get away from this place. You coming Konoka?" said girl nodded and followed along while Asuna turned back to Negi and Naruto. "Make sure nothing happens blondie, it's up to you and the brat now."

"Ahh but Asuna-san?"

"Don't worry Negi, Ayaka and Asuna have always been like that apparently." Naruto explained and Asuna then turned to Ayaka.

"Oi Iincho, I'm sorry for what I said before, I'll take back the shoto-con comment… for today." She mumbled the last part as she left for the changing room.

"Naruto… Negi-sensei…forgives me for showing such behaviour in front of you. It seems Asuna and I am always going to end up fighting." Asuna admitted looking a little disappointed in herself.

"That's not true!" Negi rejected Ayaka's statement. "It was actually Asuna-san who suggested we come and visit you today. She wanted to cheer you up…she told me you had a little brother once."

With that Ayaka recalled the memory of the time she learned she would be getting a little brother. Sadly there had been complications and she never got to see her little brother, the room with the yours being a holdover from her parents were readying for their new arrival.

It had been Asuna oddly enough to get Ayaka back to normal as opposed to depressed. Her kicking her in the head annoyed her enough to forget about her sadness. "That Asuna… she remembered it was my brothers birthday… as did you didn't you Naruto?"

"Well I don't need an excuse to see a friend but I figured you would appreciate the company. It was Asuna who did suggest Negi be brought along."

"Asuna, she still remembers after all these years. That unbelievable violent girl." Ayaka said crying a little.

"Hey Negi…" Naruto said as he put an arm over Ayaka's shoulder. "Why don't we be brothers for Ayaka for today?"

"Yes, that's a great idea, you can be my Onee-chan for today and we'll do anything with you."

'Well not everything.' Naruto thought to himself.

"Thank you Negi-sensei, Naruto." Ayaka wiped away her tears as she leaned into her 'older brother'. "In that case lets head to my room, there's some outfits I have for Negi to try on."

"Wait what?" Negi said shocked and Naruto grabbed him under his arm.

"You did say anything Negi, consider you job now to play dress up for your Onee-chan."

"Actually I may have some for you as well onii-chan."

"Guah…" The troubles of having siblings, at least she was happy.

It had gotten late by the time Negi and Naruto had to leave, Negi had fallen asleep from all the outfit changes and sugar crash. "Thank you again for today Naruto, I never look forward to this day." Ayaka said now in her nightgown.

"It's no problem, it's what friends are for. Chizuru would have come but someone called in sick at the day-care." Ayaka giggled at her blonde friend.

"I think she may have enjoyed the small bit of dress up you and Negi did. You suited the butler look well, when we managed to take that hair of yours." Naruto gave her a flat look recalling the twenty minutes of her staff trying to comb his hair back.

"Keep teasing and I'll tell her you took pictures, she'll let Shizuna-kaa-san know and you'll lose them." Ayaka looked a little sheepish hearing that. "But it was fun today, and I'm glad your smiling now."

"I couldn't help with my two handsome teachers spending the day with me." Ayaka said leaning up to kiss Negi on the cheek while he slept as well as Naruto on the cheek. "Good night… Onii-chan."

"Sleep tight Ayaka." With that Naruto carried himself and the mini teacher on his back while Ayaka waved them off. She gazed to Negi and Naruto and had some thought to go over in her head.

A few days later at the start of the new school year Naruto, Negi, Asuna and Konoka was all squeezed together on the train to campus. "Geez, why is it that term seems to start sooner than it should blondie?" Naruto turned to the redhead looking away from his phone.

"I guess because we are usually having a lot of fun during time off. Still another year won't be so bad, Negi and I are still your teachers. You could have Nitta-sense instead." Asuna scowled recalling the one time Nitta substituted for Takahata.

Stupid horse stance punishment.

"Guess it won't be so bad. As long as Negi doesn't get on my nerves." Asuna said while Konoka gave her puppy dog eyes.

"Oh come on Asuna, he's surely grown on you by now. Negi-kun isn't bad." Konoka said before Negi was pushed into her chest while Naruto had to hold Asuna steady as the train suddenly jerked. "Oh Negi-kun… are you still looking for a partner?"

"Partner…? Care to explain Negi?" Naruto said having heard rumours that Negi was looking for a romantic partner but he knew he'd likely let slip about a pactio partner.

"Ah, um its nothing. Anyway Konoka-san, I think I am still too young to find a partner. For now I'll be doing my best to be a good tea..a…achoo!" several skirts were flipped from Negi's blusterous sneeze.

"Can't go one trip without causing a scene, can you Negi?" Naruto chuckled as the train came to a stop and the group set off on their Rin for class, well 3 runners and one skater.

After changing the sign above the classroom's door signifying the girls were now in their third year Negi turned to address the class. "Um… well class at the start of this new year I am happy to be your formal teacher along with Naruto-nii. Please treat us both well as we will be with you until march, I know it will be a pleasure to teach you all." Negi said blushing in his own excitement.

As the class cheered Negi seemed to take notice of someone gazing at him, turning his head to the back row of the class he spotted one of the shorter girls in the class. Naruto raised his arms to quieten the class while Negi got his class roster out to check out the name of the student. Evangeline A. K. McDowell. Negi's thoughts were interrupted by the entrance of Shizuna.

"Negi-sensei, Naruto-kun!" Shizuna said instantly getting giggles at the lack of title she gave to her son. "Today is the school health check-up. Please tell everyone in the class to prepare accordingly." The now flustered Negi was quick to reply to Shizuna.

"Ah! That's right!" He put his roster away as Naruto got away from the wall to leave the room but Negi's mouth was faster. "Well everyone, the health check-up is here so everyone take off your clothes!"

'Smack!' Naruto slapped his head as Negi still had these moments were his age really showed. "Come on you little trouble maker." Naruto grabbed Negi by the back of his collar as some of the girls teased the lad by calling him a pervert.

"Hehe, I'm surprised Naruto-kun didn't stay to watch." Haruna giggled to herself as she stripped off down to her polka dot undies.

"You know Naru, better than that Haruna. He not the true epitome of a pervert." Kazumi replied using her investigation eyes to check out the competition still. There may be a mock sisterhood but first to Naruto was still on the table.

"He will join me eventually, just need a few more review and research sessions for our books together. Anyway where's Maki?" Haruna did note the bubbly pink haired gymnast was missing from the class.

"I…I don't know." Nodoka said as she went up to the scales. She had not gained any weight which was good, but also bad as no weight had been gained in her chest…yet.

"Knowing Maki-chan, she probably slept in. That and she never liked getting measured… don't know why." Yuuna replied fist pumping when she found her bust had grown a little, getting closer to going up a cup.

"Likely because there are some here who make her feel that puberty was unfair. But her sleeping in might be right… I wouldn't mind being in bed too right now." Chisame muttered the last part as she was shown her that her own bust had gone up a centimetre or two.

She didn't want to hear some of her classmates increases though, especially girls like Mana or Chizuru.

"Yeah Maki-chan is flat she probably didn't want to face the music just yet." Fuka laughed out ignoring the cruel irony that was her own flat chest.

"Perhaps she had a run in with the local monster." Misa said getting some of the girl's attention. "They say there's a vampire that haunts Sakura Lane. When the moon is full in the sky, rumours of spread of the tall figure wrapped in a long black cloak." Misa put on a scary expression "There it waits for young girls to attack and suck them dry!"

"Oh come on guys, you can't be serious. I mean really a vampire in the school, next thing you'll tell me is that magic exists." Asuna said before the reality of what she said sank in. 'Oh crap that means it probably was a vampire if blondie and the brat are mages.'

"Hmmm Kagurazaka you seem to be lost in thought. Have you realized that there may be some truth to this rumour. You all should be worried, the rumour is that the vampire loves to attack energetic girls." Evangeline said before her mysterious aura was interrupted by Zazie poking her in the chest. "Oi Rainyday, no touching."

"…"

"I am not being overdramatic!"

"Eva, Zazie play nice you two." Naruto said outside of the room.

"Yeah, yeah." Eva muttered not really caring right now, knowing her measurements were going to be the same.

"Naruto-sensei! Negi-sensei!" Ako shouted coming from the hallway, looking very worried and skidded to a stop on front of them. "Sensei, Makie.. Makie… something has happened!"

"What!" the door to the room along with the windows exposing Negi and Naruto to the wonders of youth. "Oi stop looking blondie!" Asuna shouted as she jumped out to cover his eyes.

"Aww, I wanted him to see." Chizuru let out a small giggle getting a few glares.

"I think I and Negi are needed elsewhere, Ako, please take us to Makie." Naruto said moving away with his eyes closed but with red in his cheeks as he had been given only a moment to see but what he was enough.

When they got to the infirmary Shizuna was there and gave Naruto her chart. "She was found asleep on Sakura lane, a little pale but not much else." Naruto gave Makie a once over before noticing Negi get in close.

'Odd… I can sense magic in Makie-san, but who would use magic against a student, so far Naruto-nii is the only person in the class who I know uses magic.' Negi's thoughts continued despite Asuna trying to garner his attention.

"..egi, Negi! Ergh he's lost in thought, great. So what's up with Makie blondie?" Asuna said now dressed in his uniform. She had needed to rush so she could find out for the class what was going on.

"Nothing I can tell from just looking. Could just be a that Makie ran out of steam from too much activity. Your thoughts Negi? Oi Negi!" he flicked the boy on his ear breaking his train of thought.

"Hmm oh sorry, Naruto-nii but I don't think we need to worry. Makie-san has probably suffered from a mild case of anaemia. Also Asuna-san, I will be home late tonight so I won't be eating dinner."

"Oh um…ok"

The rest of the day went fairly normal and Makie eventually awoke to Naruto who smiled as he made sure she was ok, right before handing her today's homework. She was not happy, almost in tears thinking how mean he was being despite she was ill.

Anyway at the end of the day the girls were beginning to make their way home but Nodoka ended up having to walk it alone and being the rather shy girl Nodoka was a bit wary about walking down Sakura Lane.

"I'm not scared, I'm not scared." She repeated this mantra as she slowly walking down the path not knowing she was being watched from atop one of the lamp posts.

"Seat number 27, Miyazaki Nodoka isn't it?" A hanged grin spoke as she watched her prey stiffen at the alien voice. "Sorry, but I'll be taking some of that blood of yours." The robe covered figured jumped and glided down quickly on Nodoka position.

"Kyaaaa!"

"Hold it right there!" Negi shouted having been observing the lane for suspicious behaviour. Thankfully Nodoka didn't see him flying on his staff as the shock of seeing the rumoured vampire had her faint on the spot. "What are you doing to my student!?"

"Ras tel Ma Scir Magister, eleven spirits of wind, become a seal and bind my enemy! Sagita Magika Air Captorae!" Negi thrust out his hand after speaking out his aria for the air capture spell to shoot out at the figure who clicked her tongue in annoyance.

"He's already worked it out? Reflectio!" The figure threw out a small vial which exploded and the reaction to her own aria deflected Negi's own spell with ease.

"I knew it, the culprits was a mage! Ehh… wait I know you. You from my class, Evangeline-san." Negi shouted in shock not expecting a member of his class to be skilled in magic.

He had so much to learn about his class.

"You are quite impressive Negi Springfield, to have such strength in Mana at the young age of ten. I suppose it is to be expected of the son of the thousand master." Evangeline said licking her hand of blood that was leaking from her finger.

"J…just who are you. As a fellow mage I must ask why you are attacking my students and your classmates?!" Negi shouted in outcry as he held Nodoka in his arms.

"Is it not obvious to you boy? In this world there a good mages and bad ones, I for example am a bad one. Freegans Grandin is!" Evangeline threw out two more vials which collided and formed together to become a spear of ice.

"Exarmatio!" Attempting to stop the spear Negi cast the disarming spell which while it did stop the attack, the disarmament also stripped away a lot of Nodoka's clothing being so close to the epicentre of the spell. "Nodoka-san are you alrig-WAHHHH!" Negi looking down saw what his abrupt defence had the consequence of.

"Honestly, you are terrible for w ten year old Negi." Turning his head Negi saw the figure of his brother standing over him taking off his jacket to cover Nodoka's chastity.

"Tch, why are you here?" Evangeline asked looking over to the senior teacher.

"You know why."

"What was that sound?" Konoka's voice could be heard as she came running into the scene along with Asuna. "Ehhh what's happening, what happened to Nodoka? Is it the vampire."

"Yep." Naruto replied taking note of said vampire making her exit. "Mind looking after Nodoka while we deal with the troublesome bloodsucker Konoka?" Naruto knew Konoka was going to accept the first answer and it was easier than trying to come up with a lie.

"…eh well ok."

"Good, let's go Negi." Negi nodded as the two sped off after Evangeline.

"Naruto-nii, Evangeline said that there are good and bad mages in the world. But isn't it the job of mages to work and protect the people of the world?" Negi asked his mind whirling a little from the girl's opinion, along with the fact she may know something about his father.

"There are many people who are not as innocent as you Negi, but try not to think on that right now. We are coming up fast too, mind if I capture her?" Naruto half asked as he raised his hand with his focus ring. "Magico Kakugo Ikuzo; Undecim spiritus aeriales, vinculum facti inimicum captent. Sagitta Magica, Aer Capturae." Around Naruto spirits taking the shape of wolves appeared and moved to capture Evangeline.

'He's holding back? Hmmm must want to teach the boy something. Very well then.' Throwing out several more vials Evangeline defending against the wind spell but in her moment she lost focus of Negi who got in close.

"Flanes Exarmatio!" Negi cried out stripping Evangeline of her cloak that allowed her to fly away from the scene leaving her in just her night clothes. The three then landed on a nearby roof.

"I'm impressed, truly you are more skilled than someone your age would be expected to have." Evangeline praised while checking for her allies.

"That's right and now that I've won you'll stop your doings and tell me about my father." Negi cried out attempting to hide his eyes from his student in her unmentionables.

"You really think you've won?" the girl smirked as one figure watched from above and the other from behind the pair.

"Of course, I felt it before you can't use magic without catalyst vials, you can't fly without your mantle and Naruto-nii's spell made you use the rest of your vials." Negi said puffing his cheeks in mild annoyance at the smirk the girl in front of them had.

"I can hardly believe you call your senior that, then again it is in his character."

"Please don't talk like I'm not here Evangeline, now come quietly and im sure we can get the principal to go easy on your punishment." Naruto said his eye twitching for a moment before his body relaxed.

"Hmmm tough choice, the two of you against the one of me. Hardly seems fair…" a figure then dropped down while another smaller figure jumped from behind onto Naruto's head who felt a knife by his neck. "Then again when do villains play fair, allow me to introduce you to my partners Karakuri Chachamaru and her elder sister Chachazero, you've met before haven't you Naruto?"

"Hiya stud ready to bleed?" A rather cheerful yet bloodthirsty voice spoke atop Naruto's head with what seemed to be a small doll with green hair and holding knives in both hands.

"Naruto-nii! Ras tel ma skil magis-oww!" Negi's incantation was interrupted by Chachamaru flicking his head rather hard. "Wait you're a fellow student aren't you?"

"Yes, forgive me sensei." Chachamaru said in the direction of the blonde… the tall one.

"Not your fault Chachamaru. Negi I can't move right now you'll have to deal with these two on your own." Evangeline's grin grew at this and when Negi attempted to cast another spell the robotic Chachamaru and literally robotic as she was a synthanoid, stopped him.

"Mages rely upon having the time to chant their spells, if interrupted they can't complete them. It was the duty of the Ministers to defend their mages. Without one right now and your senior held captive you have no chance of beating us." Evangeline lectured as she moved in closer, while signalling her partner to hold Negi.

"You were right I was out of magic, I had barely any to use in the first place. Why else attack those girls and drain a bit of them. I needed enough to get you and remove this curse from me." Evangeline said visibly shaking in excitement and slight worry knowing the true situation she was in.

"You father was one of the strongest mages in the world, feared throughout it. but to me he is the one who put me though sadness and bitterness. That Stupid father of yours sealed me in this accursed school for the last fifteen years and now I'll be using you to get out." Her fangs grew out as she loved to Negi's neck. "If you want someone to blamed, curse your father like he did me."

With that Eva bit into Negi's neck and was about to drain him to break the curse.

However three things happened; number one being Asuna's decided to become a kamen rider for the night as she landed a leaping sweep kick to both Chachamaru and Evangeline. Number two was that Chachazero found herself pulled off of Naruto's head via a thorned whip and sent flying.

"Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~!" Though it seems the doll was enjoying the flight.

Number three was that Naruto learned that Asuna still needed to buy new underwear as opposed to the kuma variety. In retrospect only the first two are relevant but its three none the less.

"Hey freak what are you doing to my guest, also what happened to your neck blondie?" Asuna asked while Evangeline was rubbing her face from the pain.

"Killer doll held knife to my neck." Naruto said nodding his head in a random direction for some reason.

"What chucky was here?" Naruto rolled his eyes and he got Negi to his feet while Asuna looked to whom she attacked. "Hey wait you guys are in our class. What do you think you're doing? Don't tell me you guys are behind those attacks."

"Kagurazaka… I…I won't forget this. We are leaving Chachamaru, this won't be the last you hear of us." The pair jumped off the roof and Chachamaru's back opened up revealing jets.

"Wait… damn they got away. Oi Negi you ok?" Asuna said rushing over to the red head. "Geez you didn't have to go all alone like that, you could have gotten hurt even with blondie here. Also *whack* that's for letting yourself get sneaked up on like that."

"I'm not sure how much I deserve that considering I've just had the closest shave in some time." Naruto said just as Negi hugging his head to Asuna's chest and bawled his eyes out as well, he's a little kid that was attacked by a creature of the night. "You better take him home Asuna' I'm sure a good night's sleep will calm him down. I'll be back in the morning to have a chat ok?"

"Yeah, and don't worry I held back on my punch this time. Come on Negi it will be okay." Naruto grabbed the pair and they floated to the floor before heading to the dorms. Separating Naruto entered his own room to find Zazie sitting by the open window with an odd pair of gloves and boots. "Thanks for the assist Zazie."

"Your welcome…partner."

The next morning Naruto had set off to the classroom early so was there when Evangeline turned up. "Have fun scaring Negi I take it? I thought you were above bullying children Eva." Naruto said as she sat down on his desk.

"You let me, lest you forget. You could have disabled Cachazero easily considering you helped with her current power source." Eva said as she opened his drawer and pulled out a sucker pop.

"Maybe but Negi needs something to make him push forward in his studies. He may come to me or one of the others who can say. Don't expect him to be a pushover next time." Naruto said as he flicked Evangeline in the head. "Also you in my class now Eva, mess with your classmates again and I'll be telling our reporter your old nickname."

"You wouldn't dare!" Eva shouted as she grabbed his collar and got into his face.

"Try me, or I could use one of those pictures Takamichi was kind enough to share." Eva gritted her teeth as she left the room before any of the others could turn up in class.

Negi eventually turned up under the arm of Asuna, with him kicking and crying a little. "Still freaked out by last night?"

"Please Naruto-nii I don't wanna teach the class today if she's in the class!" Negi cried as he was passed to Naruto who put him in his seat.

"You won't Eva's skipping class today now calm down. We can talk later about it if you are still feeling down, okay?" Negi nodded and Naruto gave him a sucker pop to enjoy and settle down. "I'll take over class for the day, just observe and take notes for Eva." With another nod Naruto waited for the rest of the class to turn up, along with a now revived and chipper Makie.

"Hmmm, Naruto-sensei, what's wrong with Negi-kun?" Makie asked part way through the lesson as Negi seemed depressed.

"Oh Negi, he's just… feeling a little homesick today ok. I'll be chatting with him later just so you know." Naruto explained getting awws from around the class but the lesson went on without much trouble. Yet when the belly rung out to end the class Negi shot out the class before Naruto could go talk with him.

"I'll check on him blondie, just come around near dinner time." Asuna ran to catch up with the red head. meanwhile the rest of the class started up plans to cheer up Negi.

"Come on Negi, Eva-chan is hardly going to pop up and try to eat you." Asuna told Negi holding onto his staff knowing of his habit to fly off.

"Even if you say that…she could have hurt Naruto-nii and I was powerless to stop her since Chachamaru-san was with her." Negi said not taking note of the figures dropping down.

"Bah, you don't need to worry. If she does turn up now ill be there to drive her off, plus blondie won't be caught off guard again. So cheer up alright. We could always find Takahata-sensei and get his opinion on the matter…maybe skipping a few details. Hey where did you go?" Asuna had turned to see that Negi had been whisked away.

Not long later the young lad felt himself stripped and dropped into warm water. "I'm in the baths… why?"

"WELCOME NEGI-SENSEI!" A majority of the class cheered now all in bikinis and swimsuits. There was a banner too saying 'Party to cheer up Negi-sensei!'.

"Wha-what's going on here?" Negi asked very confused like most ten year olds would be… if he was older he may appreciate it more but ce la vie.

"Well you were looking depressed so we all decided to come together to cheer you up Negi-kun." Sakurako shouted as the girls started to close in.

"Then why am I here?" Naruto asked with a straight faced expression.

"Well we didn't want to make you feel left out when Negi-kun told you what had happened. Are you really going to complain Naruto-sensei?" Haruna asked quickly getting up close to her tiny green bikini clad chest would press against his chest.

"Considering the students I have I refuse to answer, I'm going over there… I don't want to witness what's going to happen to Negi." He walked off as a lot of the girls started to scramble over Negi doing their best to wash him. a few followed Naruto over to the side just to soak while he had the chance.

'Yeah he's right… this is less cheering up and more molest the young teacher.' Chisame thought while following Naruto and the others not evening thinking what made her wear her new one piece that may or may not be a Icha, Icha brand one.

Orange suited her and Naruto liked orange.

Asuna meanwhile had been left to try and find both Negi and Naruto now as both had been snatched. 'Look away for two seconds and poof they are gone, id say it was a magic trick if I didn't know any better.' In her rush she went to search the roof and found Evangeline and Chachamaru. "Ergh not here either, where are those two?"

"Heh… looking for someone Kagurazaka?" Evangeline said while her partner stood behind her offering only a small bow.

"Oh it's you two… did you take Negi while I was turned away?" Seemed logical to ask the person after the kid.

"Nope. I have no idea where the boy went. Besides our next battle won't be until the next full moon." She repled getting a puzzled look from Asuna.

"Why?"

Rolling her eyes. "I only can gain a little of my sealed power on a full moon, right now I couldn't even grow my fangs. I'm no stronger than a girl my age." She opened her mouth to reveal her normal teeth. "Hopefully he'll be a challenge next time and actually find a partner. Naruto would be some challenge but he'd not my target." Evangeline rested her hand against her chin grinning.

"Quite a surprise to see the girl who said she hated children actually caring. Is his night time sleeping habit made you see him different?" She loved the blush she got from Asuna revealing she knew that little titbit, Chachamaru was such a helpful little spy.

"How do you know that… never mind. Anyway next time you try anything don't think it'll be the same as I'll be there." Asuna said giving her best glare but decided to leave to try and find Negi again.

Little did she know she would come onto the scene were several girls tops had been removed with Naruto currently knocked out via nosebleed. No doubt from Haruna who was dangerously close to said blonde. "Negi! What happened? And why is everyone naked?"

"Asuna-san look out!" Negi shouted noticing a small ermine rushing toward Asuna who was quick to grab it by its head and slam it to the floor knocking the little thing out. Getting an up close view Negi only muttered one thing. "Chamo-kun?"

XChapter EndX

Few changes here and there from the original chapter along with the reveal that Naruto already has a partner and it's Zazie. However as some may suspect there are some others already that have made it to partner and yes they will be full partners. The artifacts will be changed as stated before but have similar attributes to their original versions.

Next chapter will have a bit of time spent of Naruto and Evangeline's friendship along with one of the best characters in the series; Chachamaru. Those two are honestly some of the best and well developed characters in all of Negima so I look forward to giving them the credit they deserve.

Im not going to apologise for not sticking to my to love ru story but writing gets harder every month now really and between trying to finish games or sorting out setting up real world stuff. Let me tell you a surplus of rpgs is a bad thing, such as Xenoblade and X, ff explorers, rogue galaxy and Paper Jam. Eats up lots of time when I don't want it to but that's games for you.

Excited for Ninja storm 4 this Friday, still hoping Anko makes it as DLC character as she really need to get in if flipping Hanabi made it back in since her first game in ultimate ninja 3. Anko meanwhile absent for what seems like 5 games now but it's probably 4.

However there is a question I have for you all after giving it some thought; Ayaka going to stay faithful to her affection to Negi or get pulled to the more mature Naruto as time goes on. Your comments can change how things could play out.
