Thanks to Blaze Falcon for the idea of this CROSSOVER chapter! Go check out "Pokemon Kalos Legends" to see more of his characters, Owen, and Molly!

Well, time for the second of what I expect to be many epilogue chapters. I like how these don't necessarily have to be in chronological order of happening, and I have the flexibility to switch the chapters around without any consequences, unlike the actual story. So, this chapter will be a crossover with Blaze Falcon, and it'll feature his characters named Tyson, Alexis, and Bolt. Let's get going!

23StellaOrgana: Well, that's not the explanation I was expecting, haha. To be honest, I don't really care if you stop reading because I don't bring them back, not because I don't appreciate you taking the time to check out the story (thank you, by the way), but I don't feel like doing something that I might not want to just for the sake of one person sticking around. If I offended you in any way, please don't think I meant to. Thanks for the review and input! :)

Blaze Falcon: Haha, it was really weird writing this with how grown up the main cast (Owen, Brooklyn, CJ, and Fate) was, and trying to make them mature while also showing some of their teenage flares. And I think I had Brooklyn say that Daniel wasn't actually going to Opelucid - though that could be an epilogue chapter - Owen was just doing that to see if CJ was actually interested, for unspecified reasons. As for the Kalos E4, that will be answered in this chapter, and don't worry about if the review was too long!

ShadowDragon9000: Well... I've been thinking about possibly writing epilogue chapters submitted by you, the readers, and keeping this thing alive until I decide to stop. Think of it as DLC, haha. And the ending was trying to break the fourth wall, but that didn't work out too well, lol, and I forgot to put the poll up :/ Also, thanks for the reasons behind your responses. They were really compelling and have helped make my decision a lot easier :)

From-Down-Under (guest): Good point. Ariel was actually my favorite character (aside from Frank) in the entire series, and Catherine didn't get as much attention as she should've. And would you mind expanding on the second response?

guest: Well thank you! I honestly thought it was really underwhelming because of the idea I had for it (everyone from Owen's journeys being reintroduced), but it's good to see you still liked it. And thank you for (along with the others) giving me a very good, and valid reason for possibly bringing them back. Assuming I were to do so, which I probably won't, Xerneas would come into play... actually, thinking about it I don't see how I could make a chapter out of that :/ And I think spoilers are inevitable with that, so I probably won't include her unless I find a way to dance around all of those topics

Defender31415: Ah, I'm glad someone mentioned that little tidbit. That will be explained (most likely) in Gray's story instead of this. It was really just meant to be a teaser of what's going to happen, so sorry for getting your hopes up :( Gray could appear in one of these chapters, though ShadowDragon made a very good argument for her not being included, as this is Owen's story and I agree with that

MerlockVonBaron: Molly actually could get her own story, depending on how my talks with a few other authors go, because she'll be making her debut in Blaze Falcon's story "Pokemon Kalos Legends" as Tyson's rival

The 6th Spectral King: Haha, she definitely didn't beat Red, I can assure you that

"How many years has it been?" Charizard asked Owen as the two walked the streets of Lumiose City. The man looked into the windows of every store he passed by while Charizard scratched the back of his neck, trying to think of the answer to his own question.

"Thirteen years. And Molly's been gone for a little less than a month." The man turned and smiled at his first Pokemon, who shook his head in disbelief. "It's not like I've been counting or anything," the champion joked as he looked into another store. Unsurprisingly, no one stopped Owen or Charizard to ask for a picture, autograph, or advice on becoming a trainer. Ever since he had earned the title of Kalos Champion, the people of Kalos never bothered the man because of everything he had done to save the region. The least they could do was let him live like a normal person.

"How's she doing, by the way? I haven't been around when she's called," Charizard asked Owen curiously, wanting to know how Molly's journey was progressing. "I wouldn't be surprised if she already has a few badges."

"Actually, she only has one, but she was held up by some organization called Team Genez. It's weird, though. I hadn't heard anything about them until she told Brooklyn that they tried stealing some of her Pokemon in Santalune City." Charizard shook his head in disgust at the idea of stealing Pokemon, but he continued walking alongside his trainer as they continued to look in store after store after store.

"It's good to hear she's doing well." Owen nodded at the words his starter said, but he stopped walking when something in one of the windows caught his eye. The man quickly hurried in to the store and purchased the item before walking out and preparing to hop onto Charizard's back. "All good to go?" the winged lizards inquired, bracing himself for the additional weight Owen added.

"Yeah, I think this is the best gift I've gotten!" the man exclaimed before placing his hand on Charizard's head and smiling. Before he could hop onto his starter's back, Owen turned to see a group of three kids walking his way.

"What about this shirt, Tyson? This would look great on you," a girl with long brown hair said before fixing the red clips in her hair in order to keep it from being messy. She was wearing a pink top along with a light blue shirt, pink sneakers, and a pink and blue backpack. Her light blue eyes were glued to the boy named Tyson and waited for him to respond, though he didn't look up from the ground.

"Yeah, if he were a clown," a boy mocked before cracking up at his own joke, which was so funny Owen and Charizard chuckled. The jokester had spiky blonde hair that pointed straight up, and he was wearing yellow jacket over a blue shirt. A pair of bright yellow shoes were on his feet, and his backpack was both blue and yellow, which seemed a bit over the top.

After seeing Tyson not laugh, the blonde haired boy looked at him worriedly. "Come on, Tyson, you have to get over it at some point. It's not like it's the end of the world, or anything."

The teen walking in-between the girl and boy slowly looked up and sighed dramatically. He wore a black shirt covered in a dark blue and black zipped up jacket, while a pair of pitch black jeans and blue shoes covered the lower half of his body. He was also wearing a blue and black cap with a Pokeball logo, which was also blue and black.

"Why do you think that kid's so sad?" Charizard asked Owen, who shrugged in response and decided to move closer so he could hear the conversation more clearly.

"I know it's not, Bolt, but if I can't beat Ryan, I might as well just quit right now. Losing to him and Luke shows just how bad a trainer I really am," Tyson muttered dejectedly before walking away from his friends. Owen watched with a smirk as Tyson, who seemed to be sixteen, walked straight at him, though he couldn't see because he was staring at the ground. Taking the opportunity being handed to him, Owen began to walk forward before intentionally bumping into Tyson, nearly knocking the teenager over.

"Hey, watch where-" Tyson stopped his shouting when he looked up and saw Owen extending a hand. The teen stared in shock before accepting the adult's assistance, and he grinned sheepishly while Charizard walked over to Owen's side. "You're... you're Owen Plateau!" Tyson exclaimed, his depression melting away instantly. Owen nodded in response while chuckling at Tyson's antics, and he waited for the rookie to calm down. "I'm Tyson Pernell!"

"Nice to meet you, Tyson," Owen said before shaking the younger boy's hand. "I couldn't help but overhear your friends trying to cheer you up, so I figured I'd come over and check it out."

"Oh, it's nothing really," Tyson fibbed as he looked away from Owen, who motioned for Tyson's friends to come over. They did, and Tyson was shocked to see them standing by his side.

"Oh my god! I'm Alexis Miller, and I'm such a huge fan of you and your wife!" Alexis shrieked as she shook Owen's hand, making the Kalos Champion laugh before he shook Bolt's hand.

"My name's Bolt Wilson. Nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you both. I was just talking to Tyson, and I heard him talking about losing to someone, or something along those lines. That's why he was so sad, right?" the 31 year old inquired, making both Alexis and Bolt nod. Owen rubbed his chin in response before looking into Tyson's eyes, unnerving the teenager. "You said you wanted to quit training because you lost, right?"

"...Yeah," Tyson answered reluctantly as he hung his head. A hand fell on his shoulder, and he looked up to see Owen smiling at him while flashing a thumbs up.

"I know just how to rekindle that battling spirit!" As soon as Owen said that, Tyson's eyes lit up and he waited for the older man to speak. "We're going to battle!" Owen exclaimed, nearly making Tyson fall over in shock. Charizard glanced over at his trainer, not knowing why Owen would waste his time with a random kid.

"Are you serious?" Tyson shouted, unsuccessfully trying to hold his excitement back, making Owen laugh before he nodded. Suddenly, the two took ten steps away from each other and grabbed a Pokeball each as they stood in front of the store Owen had walked out of, but the owner of the building rushed out and intervened.

"You two are not going to battle in front of my store!" the manager yelled, which made Bolt curse under his breath as the four trainers were forced to walk down the street and stop in front of an area where the store owners had no problems with the champion battling.

"Jerk, it's not every day you get to be in the presence of a champion," Bolt pouted as Owen and Charizard smirked at the angered teen's response, not wanting to agree with his statement only because it would have made them look egotistical.

The five stopped in the middle of the street, and Alexis and Bolt stood off to the side while Owen and Charizard took ten steps back at the same time as Tyson. Once they found the distance to be suitable, Owen and Tyson reached for their belts and grabbed a Pokeball each.

"I want you to give me everything you've got, Tyson!" Owen exclaimed, trying to pump his opponent up and snap him out of his bad mood.

"Yeah!" was the only thing Tyson could say, as he was still in shock about being in a battle with the current champion of the Kalos region. Before either trainer could throw a Pokeball, Bolt spoke up and raised his arms in the air.

"I'll referee!" Bolt volunteered as he ran in the middle of the two, while Alexis continued to stand on the sidelines while cupping her hands around her mouth to make her words louder.

"This will be a battle between Tyson and Owen, where both sides can use all of the Pokemon in their possession! The battle will be over when all Pokemon on one side are unable to continue. Now, choose your first Pokemon!"

"Let's start!" Owen exclaimed as he hurled his first Pokeball towards the sky. Snivy materialized from the light and nonchalantly placed her hands on her hips while narrowing her eyes at Tyson, who took his Pokedex out and scanned the grass type, giving Owen enough time to whisper to his Pokemon. "Snivy, only give a little bit of effort in your attacks. I don't want to crush this kid's spirit." Snivy nodded at her trainer's words before waiting for her opponent to be revealed.

"Fletchling, let's fly!" Tyson's tiny bird flew out from his capsule, chirping in response. Owen smiled at the tiny Pokemon and cracked his fingers while Bolt spoke up.

"This battle will be between Snivy and Fletchling! Begin!"

"Start this off with Aerial Ace!" Fletchling flew up like a rocket during lift off before descending towards Snivy, tucking his wings into his sides in order to add more velocity. White streaks of light flew off the normal type's body, but Snivy and Owen weren't flustered by the speed of the attack.

"Grass Pledge," Owen instructed calmly as Snivy's stomach started to glow green. Snivy nodded at her trainer's words and slammed her fist on the ground, though nothing happened. Suddenly, multiple pillars of green light shot out of the ground, but Fletchling easily evaded the incredible attack. The shiny bird then smashed into the Grass Snake, but it didn't look like Snivy took any damage, which shocked Tyson and his Pokemon, though they tried to maintain their composure.

"Use Vine Whip to hit Fletchling and then throw him!" Owen countered as his Unova Starter smirked. Two vines shout out of her neck and she smacked Fletchling down against the ground. With quick reactions, Snivy wrapped her vines around Fletchling's body and hurled him into the air effortlessly.

"Quickly use Double Team and then attack!" Tyson ordered while throwing his right arm out to his side. Fletchling squawked before creating numerous copies of himself, and then zipped towards Snivy.

"A cheap tactic like that won't work! Use Leaf Tornado!" the Kalos Champion shouted as Snivy twirled in a circle, sticking her tail upwards. A vortex of green leaves and winds formed around her tail, and she aimed it at the incoming clones. One by one, shiny Fletchling clones disappeared upon contact by the powerful grass move, but one remained.

"Razor Wind now!" The lone remaining Fletchling stopped and began swinging his wings, creating tiny razor shaped winds. Snivy, who was unaware of the sudden move, was crushed by the sharp winds and sent flying across the makeshift battlefield. "Peck!" Tyson shouted, continuing his attack. Fletchling's beak turned white and radiated with power before pursuing Snivy, who was rolling along the street.

"Smack 'em away with Leaf Blade, Snivy!" Much to Tyson's dismay, Snivy jumped from the ground with the help of two vines from her neck, and hopped over the incoming bird, who turned around in shock. Snivy's tail then turned light green and she started to rapidly spin like a wheel before slamming her tail over Fletchling's back, smashing the flying type into the stone ground. The tiny bird chirped softly and surprisingly, he cracked a smile as he closed his eyes.

"Fletchling is unable to battle, the victor is Snivy!"

Tyson frowned as he withdrew his shiny Pokemon back to his Pokeball, not because he was disappointed in Fletchling's performance, rather he was upset with himself for allowing his Pokemon to faint. Snivy, meanwhile, held her head high as Owen stood behind her, smiling confidently. Tyson eyed the two and realized this was his chance to impress his idol, something very few people were ever able to do during their life. The Kalos Champion was standing right in front of him, waiting for his next move.

"This is my chance," Tyson thought as he clenched his fist. "I wanted to battle the champion and now he's right in front of me! Even if I can't win, I'm going to give him a battle he won't forget!"

"Froakie, game time!" The Bubble Frog gracefully leaped off Tyson's shoulder and landed on the street. The Kalosian starter eyed Snivy and quickly went into a ninja stance while Snivy didn't show the slightest bit of emotion.

"This will be a battle between Froakie and Snivy. Begin!"

"Snivy, start off with Leaf Tornado!" Owen demanded while punching his fist straight forwards. Snivy began to spin once more, creating a tornado of grass on the tip of her tail. Snivy then jumped and pointed her tail at Froakie, whose eyes went wide. Tyson, however, was quick to react and cleared his throat before yelling to his starter loudly.

"Dodge and use Double Team!" Froakie nodded and duplicated himself, allowing him to evade the super effective attack. "Now throw your Frubbles!" Every one of the clones grabbed some of the foamy bubbles from their neck and threw them all over the battlefield. A few of the frubbles stuck onto Snivy, and the grass type attempted to rip them off with her arms. She couldn't, however, but Owen thought of a way she could.

"Snivy, tear the frubbles off with Vine Whip!" Two vines extend from Snivy's neck, and she used them to rip a few of the frubbles off. Much to Owen's dismay, Snivy's vines were stuck to the frubbles, and she turned around in confusion while Owen sweat dropped. Charizard, meanwhile, eyed Tyson and Froakie intently while scratching his chin.

"I know how to get Snivy out," Tyson said proudly as Owen took him up on his offer.

"And how would you do that?" Owen quizzed, creating a smirk on his opponent's face.

"Use Cut, Froakie!" Froakie's fist turned bright white as he jumped in the air acrobatically, which made Owen grin. The water frog's fists then extend sharply as he fell towards Snivy, and he slashed at the bipedal snake. Again, Owen grinned as Snivy exaggerated the effects of the attack, and she rolled along the street, faking a cry of pain. "Give Owen what he wants and keep it going!" Froakie nodded his head and continued to slash Snivy, who continued to exaggerate the damage she had taken, and the frubbles began to rip off as Froakie back-flipped to give the "injured" Grass Snake some space.

"I didn't think he was going to get Snivy out like that," Owen thought, biting his lip. "Tyson's actually a really skilled trainer. Maybe he's on..."

"What are you waiting for? Do you quit?" Tyson inquired with moxie, which snapped Owen out of his thoughts and made him smirk.

"Not a chance," the man replied as he looked at Snivy and nodded his head. Snivy returned the nod and glared at Froakie before charging at a blistering pace, which caught Tyson and his starter off guard. "Keep using Leaf Blade and don't stop!" Snivy's tail turned light green and extended drastically as she jumped into the air. She then revolved twice before preparing to slam her tail over Froakie's head, but Tyson was quick on his feet and countered.

"Fight her off with Cut!" Froakie's fists extended to a sharp point and collided with Snivy's less than halfhearted Leaf Blade. After every clash Snivy keep charging at Froakie, swinging her tail violently. After several failed attempts to his her target, Snivy was thrown back to Owen by Froakie, who had managed to slide across the ground to get close to her.

"Snivy, let's finish this up with Grass Pledge!" Froakie couldn't react fast enough as one of the blasts of green energy shot out of the ground and swallowed him whole. The water type cried in pain before he fell to his knees while looking up at his opponent. Snivy tilted her head up, signaling her wanting Froakie to stand once more, which made the frog smirk before slowly pushing himself back onto his feet, holding one arm with his other.

"Froakie," Tyson spat out as he looked at his starter in shock. He was battling for him, just like Fletchling did, though the young trainer didn't know why. Owen and Charizard, meanwhile, smiled at Froakie's determination and knew exactly why the Pokemon was fighting so hard.

"If Froakie can keep fighting, shouldn't you be able to, too?" Owen asked Tyson, making the teen look at Owen in shock. Slowly, Tyson shook his head and pushed his hand forward.

"I'll do it! Froakie, Double Team!" Froakie cloned himself once more and all of the clones ran round in a circle, which Sinivy was in the middle of. The Froakie then began to run faster, making the group of frogs look like a single line of light. "Now throw your frubbles!" Snivy was smashed by white bubbles as she tried to find the source of the sticky mess, but she couldn't.

"Snivy, break out!" Owen cried as Snivy just became a statue of frubbles. After seeing their opponent was immobilized, the Froakie stopped running and began to walk over to Snivy, who smirked subtly.

"Half of you use Bubble and the rest use Cut!" Tyson shouted as half of the Froakie performed a series of hand symbols and spat out multiple blue bubbles. Next, the rest dashed towards Snivy with their sharp, glowing fists. Snivy was thrown back and forth by the strength of the Cut attacks, and she eventually fell down, only to be bombarded by more bubbles.

"No more messing around! Spin and use Leaf Tornado, Snivy!" Snivy spun in circles as the frubbles stuck right to the ground. Suddenly, the grass type's tail generated a twister, and hundreds of leaves suddenly appeared and were caught in the wicked wind. The tornado was so strong it pulled in all the Froakie and, one by one, they were all swallowed. Suddenly, the Leaf Tornado exploded, and Froakie was hurled into the ground in front of Tyson. The tiny frog had a smile drawn on his face his eyes were shut tight, and Tyson looked up and stared at Snivy.

"Froakie is unable to battle, the victor is Snivy!"

"Great job, buddy," Tyson said as his starter was zapped back into his capsule. Slowly, Tyson pulled out a different Pokeball and enlarged it with a grin. "Chimchar, ignite the fight!" Owen smirked as the fire type jumped around the field and locked eyes with Snivy, who didn't seem to be fatigued in the slightest. Chimchar quickly turned his head away and snickered at his opponent, which angered Snivy.

"This is a battle between Chimchar and Snivy. Begin!"

"Vine Whip!" Owen commanded aggressively, playing to his Pokemon's attitude. Snivy fired two vines from her neck and they flew towards Chimchar, who continued to snicker for reasons unbeknownst to everyone watching the battle.

"Counter with Flame Wheel, Chimchar!" Tyson ordered as soon as Snivy's vines got to close. Chimchar grinned before spinning and covering himself in flames. The wheel of fire hit into Snivy's vines and overpowered them, as the snake wasn't trying in the slightest. Chimchar then slammed into Snivy and sent her skidding back, but she fell over dramatically and watched as Tyson and Chimchar cheered merrily.

"Snivy, fire a Leech Seed to hold Chimchar in place, and then use Tackle!" Snivy spat a small brown sapling at Chimchar, and it hit the fire type on the head. Suddenly, the sapling broke open and several vines wrapped around Chimchar's body and flashed red, making the fire type cry out in pain. Seeing this, Snivy flew towards Chimchar and smashed into him, sending Chimchar skidding along the ground. Once he popped up, Chimchar cracked a confident smile, and so did Tyson.

"Chimchar, let a Flamethrower loose!" Chimchar breathed in dramatically and exhaled a surge of red and yellow flames that flew towards Snivy. Snivy was swallowed in the flames and stood her ground, refusing to back down to the Pokemon that had to have been at least forty levels lower than her. The powerful fire type attack did little damage, and Owen could tell by his Pokemon's reaction.

"Hang on and get out of there with Leaf Blade!" the champion exclaimed as Snivy ran through the Flamethrower and jumped in the air. The grass type's tail began to glow light green and she started to spin like a wheel, though Tyson and Chimchar grinned, which confused Owen. Charizard, meanwhile, shook his head and knew exactly what the younger duo was planning.

"Lean back!" Tyson shouted energetically. Chimchar obeyed his trainer after having some of his health taken away by the Leech Seed, and Snivy's tail slashed the vines around her opponent's body. As soon as he was freed, Chimchar smirked and shoved Snivy to the ground, catching her and Owen by surprise. "End this with Flame Wheel!" Chimchar cartwheeled into a wheel of fire and smacked into Snivy, but the grass type remained standing, still having not taken much damage. Her opponent, however, was so confident he lightly blew on her as he thought that would knock Snivy over. Playing her part, Snivy fell over and acted as if she couldn't go on, which made Owen smile.

"Come back Snivy," the man said as he picked up the "injured" Unova Starter. "Thanks for not going your hardest, Snivy. I know you could've won this if you wanted." Snivy nodded at Owen and smiled as her trainer handed her over to Charizard, who placed her on the ground and prepared to step forwards.

"Even though his Pokemon did nothing to Snivy, Tyson really is strong," Owen thought as he cracked a smile. He stopped, however, when Charizard began walking started to walk forwards, prompting Owen to throw his arm out to his side and stop the winged lizard from stepping into battle. Charizard looked down at his trainer angrily before turning back to Snivy, who shook her head while chuckling at the sight.

"What's the big deal?" Charizard asked Owen quietly. "Why can't I battle?"

"If you didn't try, Tyson would know Snivy threw her battles." The winged lizard nodded at his trainer's response before stepping back, and Owen grinned while grabbing another Pokeball off his belt. "I know just the Pokemon to use! Infernape, show him how strong you are!" Owen threw the spherical device into the air, and a large monkey landed on the ground. Tyson and Chimchar stared at Owen's Sinnoh starter and the trainer pulled out his Pokedex to scan Infernape, once again giving Owen enough time to whisper to his Pokemon.

"Infernape, I want you to take it easy on these guys, and overreact when you get hit, okay?" Owen requested. Infernape nodded, opting to not use his translator before turning back to face Chimchar, who had a determined look in his eyes.

"Aw man, pre-evolved versus fully evolved," Tyson said to himself as he looked down at Chimchar. The Chimp Pokemon continued to eye Infernape and grinned at the fully evolved Pokemon, who cracked his knuckles nonchalantly.

"This battle will be between Chimchar and Infernape! Begin!"

"Chimchar, land a bunch of hits with Fury Swipes!" Chimchar bounded across the ground and his claws started to grow and glow white. He then furiously scratched at Infernape, primarily landing blows across the older Pokemon's chest, which made Infernape smile. He quickly glanced back at Owen, giving his trainer a look that told his trainer he wasn't going to fake any injuries, which was answered by Owen nodding and throwing his fist forwards.

"Focus Blast!" Owen instructed as Infernape created a large blue orb in his right fist. In the blink of an eye, Infernape grabbed Chimchar by the neck and tossed him into the air, making Bolt and Alexis gasp in shock while Snivy and Charizard clapped at their friend's speed.

"How did Infernape grab Chimchar that fast!?" the girl shouted in disbelief before turning to Bolt, whose jaw was hanging open. "I knew Owen was strong, but that's just insane!"

"What's even crazier is that Infernape isn't even, arguably, one of his ten strongest Pokemon! Imagine if Charizard was battling! Man, Tyson would be so screwed!"

As Chimchar fell, Infernape hurled his right hand forwards, and the blue orb of energy collided with the smaller Pokemon's chest. The orb of energy exploded and sent Chimchar bouncing along the ground, and he landed on his face, prompting Infernape to turn his back and walk towards Owen. Infernape turned back around, however, when he heard Chimchar call to him, and he was standing on his feet, panting in exhaustion.

"Don't give up, Chimchar! Use Scratch!" Chimchar wiped his face before charging towards Infernape, who patiently waited for Owen to give him a command. He didn't, and Chimchar scratched Infernape across his face, though the larger Pokemon didn't move a muscle. Chimchar's claws left a huge mark across Infernape's face, and the champion's Pokemon felt the marks before growling lowly, making Owen and his Pokemon laugh quietly while Tyson and Chimchar stared in terror.

"You've awoken the beast," Owen said while still laughing at Infernape's reaction. "Infernape, dish out a Close Combat attack!" Infernape didn't waste any time in obeying his trainer's command, as he bolted over to Chimchar and unleashed a devastating barrage of punches and kicks. The powerful Pokemon finished with a ferocious punch to Chimchar's stomach, sending the younger and weaker Pokemon flying into Tyson, who was launched a few feet before landing on his back. Alexis scurried over to her friend's side worriedly before leaning over and looking down at Tyson, who sat up and looked down at his fainted Pokemon.

"Are you okay?" the girl quizzed.

"I'm great, but Chimchar's the one who you need to check on," Tyson replied with a grin as he returned the chimp to his Pokeball. After taking Alexis' hand, Tyson rose to his feet and wiped the dirt off his clothes. Bolt didn't need to rule Chimchar ineligible for battle, as everyone knew, and he decided to stay silent while Tyson threw his final Pokeball.

"Riolu, it's all on you!" Tyson cried as his strongest Pokemon hopped out of the device and landed on the ground after doing a front flip. After doing so, Riolu bowed to Infernape and Owen before taking a karate stance. The older pair bowed back respectfully before Bolt raised his arms in the air.

"This battle will be between Riolu and Infernape! Begin!"

"Flamethrower!" Owen shouted while punching his fist straight forwards. Infernape reared his head back before unleashing a wave of fire at his opponent, who stood his ground and waited for Tyson to counter. Thankfully for Riolu, Tyson was able to think quick enough, and he cleared his throat before stomping on the ground.

"Jump and use the fire to power up Blaze Kick!" Riolu did exactly as he was told and leaped just above the Flamethrower attack while his foot was engulfed in fire. He then placed his fiery foot in the blast of fire, and the attack was given even more power, which made Charizard grin and nod while Owen stared in shock. Riolu quickly reared his foot back and smashed it against the side of Infernape's head, knocking the monkey onto his side.

"Hang in there and use Flame Wheel, Infernape!" Owen ordered loudly. Infernape nodded and opened his mouth, releasing a steady dose of fire before rolling. The fire monkey suddenly took on the shape of a wheel and he rammed into Riolu, blowing the fighting type back before he placed his feet on the ground and skidded to Tyson's side.

"Retaliate by using Quick Attack with Force Palm!" Riolu dashed towards Infernape and he hurled his right paw forwards. Once it landed on Infernape's stomach, an explosion of energy was released from Riolu's paw, but Infernape wasn't moved at all. The fire and fighting type shook his head with a grin and started pounding his chest powerfully while shrieking, making Snivy and Charizard laugh while Alexis and Bolt stared in awe.

"Infernape, dish out another Close Combat!" Owen demanded with a grin. Infernape smirked before sprinting over to Riolu and rearing his fist back before rocketing it forwards.

"Tyson, help me out!" Riolu's voice echoed in Tyson's head, making the teen bite his bottom lip worriedly.

"I'm not letting a repeat happen again! Use Counter!" Riolu was enveloped in red energy before being bombarded by a fury of punches and kicks from Infernape, who didn't let up for a while. Once he did Riolu punched Infernape square in the face as he flipped back. Once Infernape landed on the his feet, the fire type looked back at Owen and nodded, which the man understood.

"Show me what you got, Tyson, cause we're ending this!" Owen screamed as Infernape roared.

"You got it! Riolu and I are ready!" Tyson answered back as Riolu stopped grinding his teeth and nodded, panting in fatigue.

"Infernape, fire away with Focus Blast!" Infernape generated a ball of blue energy in his right hand and smirked as he hurled prepared to shoot the attack, and wound up like a pitcher.

"Show 'em Aura Sphere!" Riolu formed a blue orb in-between his palms and it was much larger than usual. He then prepared to launch the attack, but waited for Tyson to give the the green light.

"FIRE!" both trainers shouted as the fighting-types fired the spheres at the same time. Both attacks collided, and Focus Blast won out within nanoseconds. The orb of energy exploded on contact with Riolu and the fighting type fell over, signaling his defeat.

"Riolu is unable to battle, the winner is Infernape! That means Owen is victorious!" Bolt shouted while Infernape walked back to Owen's side and smiled, making the teen smile and pet his Pokemon before withdrawing him and Snivy. While he did that, Tyson returned the Aura Pokemon to his capsule to see Owen walking over to him along with Bolt and Alexis.

"How do you feel?" Owen asked Tyson, looking into his eyes and seeing a bright fire burning.

"Like I want to battle again!" the teen shouted back as Alexis and Bolt ran up to hug him.

"Great! I was afraid we weren't going to have a rematch," Owen joked as the biggest smile Owen had seen was plastered on Tyson's face. "One more thing," he started as he ran up to Alexis, grabbing the clothes. "I'm going to try these clothes on." Alexis' face beamed with joy as she hugged Tyson once more, and Owen smiled at the group while thinking of himself, CJ, and Fate.

"Why don't you two pick out some clothes, too?" Owen quizzed while pulling out his wallet and handing Alexis and Bolt wads of cash. "You could really use the new wardrobe Bolt, or should I say, 'The Blue and Yellow Clown'?"

Alexis, Tyson, and Charizard laughed at Owen's joke as Bolt just got red.

Walking out of the Boutique Couture, the 16 year olds had new clothes.

Tyson wore a silver shirt underneath a half zipped up blue jacket and Black jeans with silver boots. His backpack is blue with his hat silver and blue. Tyson also wore a necklace with a small green gem in it.

Alexis wore a yellow shirt with a light blue skirt below the knees. Also, high black socks with pink shoes and carried a pink backpack.

Finally, Bolt wore a yellow shirt with a blue jean jacket. In addition, he had blue pants with yellow shoes and a yellow backpack. Bolt had a necklace with a lightning bolt around his neck.

"Nice clothes," Charizard complemented as the three teens bowed thankfully while smiling.

"I'm off now. I have to get this present to my wife for our anniversary, otherwise she'll kill me," Owen joked, hopping on Charizard's back and holding up a big bag. "I hope I see all of you soon!" With that, Charizard flapped his powerful wings and took off into the sky.

"Let's go guys! I need to train for the Parfum Palace Tournament!" Tyson said, dragging his friends.

"Hopefully you don't get this wrong like the last ten years," Charizard said to Owen jokingly as they walked up to the front doors of the house. The man froze up immediately and turned to run away, but Charizard grabbed the man by the back of his shirt. "I was just kidding, Owen. She's going to love it." The man let out a sigh of relief before glaring at his starter and opening the door to his house.

"Brooklyn, I'm home!" the man shouted before being mauled by his two younger children, April and Lucas. "Hey, guys. Where's your mom?"

"She's inside watching TV. Can we go outside and help Garchomp blow stuff up?" April asked while crossing her fingers behind her back.

"Sure, whatever," Owen answered before pushing his kids out the door and walking into the entertainment room, where Brooklyn was sitting and watching TV. "Hey, honey, I'm back!" the Kalos champion exclaimed. His wife turned around and smiled before making room for her husband on the couch.

"Hey, what took you so long?"

"Oh, I just ran into some kids and had a battle, but that's not important. What is important, is..." Owen paused while Charizard handed him the bag. "This! Happy Anniversary!" Owen watched as his wife excitedly ripped the box apart before gasping at a black dress, which made Owen laugh before kissing his wife.

"What'd you say his name is?" Molly asked while looking at the monitor on the screen. Owen was on the other end of the videochat, and Charizard was in the background.

"Tyson Pernell. He said he was going to the tournament at Parfum Palace," Owen informed his daughter, who smiled in response. "He and his Pokemon have a lot of moxie, and they have the skill to back it up. If you're gonna go to that, you'll need to train a lot."

"Don't worry about that, Dad, Charmander, Dewott, and the rest of the gang is ready to win it!" the sixteen year old proclaimed, making her father laugh.

"Alright, I'll talk to you soon. Bye, honey."

"Bye, Dad." With that, Molly ended the call and hopped onto her bed in the Pokemon Center in Cyllage City before looking up at the ceiling. She glanced over at her two starters, Charmander and Dewott, who were passed out on the floor.

"Tyson Pernell, I don't know who you are, but I have a feeling you'll be a great rival!"
