Naruko's POV-
I was standing in front of Kiba, my neck felt irritated and my chakra was raging beneath my not so calm surface.
"Let's go NAru!" Kiba sent me a sly smile, Akamaru barked, jumping to his side.
"Kit, we need to destroy this kid. Then we go after Orochimaru. It's the only way to relieve this tension you feel." Kyuubi's voice rang out inside my head. I nodded and smiled, trying to control my chakra. instead I felt that disturbing chakra from my neck start spreading through my body.
"START!" The announcer yelled.
"My pleasure…" I chuckled, and I charged him, lashing out. My chakra seemed to explode, a red aura seeped out of me and encased my body, along with a purple chakra that mixed in with it.
The crowd was in a panic.
Kiba dodged and countered with his own tornado like attack that I very easily deflected, sending him and his dog flying.
Gaara's POV-
This was incredible. Not this. I mean. Naruko, that girl. The way she looked when she was attacking reminded me of myself. She lashed out and attacked with ease, grace. It made my heart race.
But there were others who were watching, in fear? And that boy, the Sasuke child, he didn't look to thrilled either. But that didn't matter, i was focused on Naruko, I wanted to fight her. My hands gripped the bar while i watched the other boy's attacks fail against her strength and speed.
"Yo Gaara, don't get a nose bleed. Geez." Kankuro's voice broke my focus. I glared at him in unamusement. "You're eyeing that girl pretty hard." he laughed. I didn't see what was funny. What was wrong with wanting to fight her?
"Leave him alone Kankuro." Temari droned, ignoring the fight.
I looked back at the fight, Naruko had an animalistic look in her eyes and had Kiba cornered, her chakra was flaring, a beautiful red and purple. But… she looked different.
More intriguing.
Sasuke's POV-
Something was very wrong with Naruko. body was being engulfed in black swirls that would beat red every now and then. That red chakra was overwhelming her. Kiba didn't stand a chance. Everyone was in a panic.
I noticed the jounin in the crowd waiting for an opportunity to jump in, was it her neck? What did Orochimaru do to her...to us? I felt my own neck, irritated and pulsing. It hurt, like chakra was being forced into me and mixing with the already present chakra. I felt a hand on my shoulder, It was Kakashi.
"We need to go." He said quietly.
"What about Naruko?" I asked, gripping my neck.
"They're stopping the fight." Kakashi said, pulling me away.
I looked back. Oh Naruko… I sighed, I don't know what I was supposed to do to help her, could I help her even if I… well I did want to. Uhg.
Naruko's POV-
Everything was a blur, I attacked Kiba in such a way that he had no chance to fight back, Akamaru barked at me but I easily swept away any attempt at attack they threw at me. That's when a bell rung.
"FIGHT OVER. NARUKO WINS." I rushed voice said, suddenly there were three jounin around me.
"Calm down kid." one of them said, cautiously putting a hand on my shoulder.
"Come with us." someone else said. I began to calm myself down, desperately trying to reign in my chakra. I fell to my knees, it hurt.
The Kyuubi was roaring inside my head as the other source of chakra spread, raging through me. I let out a scream of pain. The Jounin gathered around me, performing hand signs and tapping my head.
Then. Nothing.
Kakashi's POV-
I had my two students. Sasuke Uchiha and Naruko Uzumaki. Orochimaru had done something to them, and, speak of the devil, there he was.
"I'll have to collect my prizes later i assume…" The man hissed.
"You won't come near them." I growled, being uncharacteristically protective of my unconscious students.
"I won't have to. They'll come to me." He said, then he was gone.
I got to work on Sasuke and Naruko.
Sasuke just had the curse mark, I needed to seal it. Naruko had the curse mark, and the Kyuubi inside her was agitated. They both needed relaxing time. I would have to order them to take a break from training for a week or so. I know neither of them would like that.
I smirked.
Hopefully some hilarity would grow from the two teenagers. We need a comic relief after what happened.
